Let Go, He's not For You

I came to like this person named Dan. At first, I make fun of him and naoff pa nga ko sa kanya kasi lagi sya nangungutang sakin. Haha But these days, we happened to talk everyday that I realized he's someone with deeper understanding and maturity more than mine. I like it that he's there when I have issues with someone, he's checking on me and he always makes me feel seen, and visible.

What bothers me is that I'm in the middle of my dating detox and here I am falling in love. It's a slow thing though kasi crush ko na pala sya October 2022 palang. But then, I had this guys on Dec, Jan and Feb and just when I wanted to focus on me, this budding love came out unplanned. The inconsistent crush is becoming deeper just becauseeeee he keeps on talking to me daily. Hahahaha marupoook na naman po.

But I like that I'm attracted to a better person which fits in to my better version now. Hays. I know that this romance will keep flourishing on my end if I allow such feelings to emerge and its meaning more confusing. Hahaha

And for the third time, I fall in love first. This is risky but unique feeling. Just like a drug, being enamored with its temporary high effects but doesn't mind the side effects or the withdrawal effects. Hihi

But for a moment, I want to think maturely that I needed to let him go and tell myself he's not mine to have and to hold because I have priorities. Next year pa pwede lumandi. And as I think I am loving him bit by bit, I am becoming selfish again and focused to him alone. That I want him for myself!! Hahaha

Ughh. Love is a distraction and it's super messy and unpredictable. But for this moment, Dan is my calm and my peace. Huhu

Update:

I told him yesterday that I'm thankful for him meeting me where I am and making me feel seen and visible, at the crucial times I wanted to disappear. But it's hard if I let him become my go-to person. It's not like Jemo na kahit everyday kami mag-usap, oras oras, walang madedevelop. hahaha Sa kanya, meron and it will become complicated on my part diba. I should not let this flourish on its own without assurance, clarity or declaration.

He replied na thank you din daw for the trust and being there. Then I realized, ganito pala makafeel ng pagmamahal na sakto sayo (kasi we have the same lovestyle and attitude - according sa test na sinagutan namin). And I am also lowering my guard to him which should not be the case kasi medyo napapadalas sya mangutang. Hahhaha I know he's credible sa ganyang aspect, but do I know for certain na kinukuha lang nya ang loob ko?

No need naman na. Kasi kami ni Jemo or Pitch or Kuya D, hindi kami close deeply pero good naman ang records eh. Hmmp. He's going overboardd.

And I wanna remind myself rin na he's not for me. Mas magaling si God para ibigay ung karapat dapat para sakin. Ayoko na syang unahan. God has something in store. And he will give it the moment I am ready.
