why does kenna always have the dumbest names? hers and caitlin's names all seem to copy yours. Braisley Lovemore is way too close to Brailey and Loveshy.

First of all, I don't think her names are dumb. Some of the ones she's used are really pretty. She just tends to change alot. Second, if I don't make it a thing about names, then why are you? Why are you getting butthurt for me? If I don't pay any mind to it, then why are you? I just did some poking around, and every iteration of it was purged from the forum (You Know Why), but play-by-play as I remember, omitting some sensitive information and backed up by surviving comments on Fundies Say the Darndest Things! (because we kept getting into there, crossposting probably):

--Someone hauled Loveshy into Godawful Websites and most of us were horrified at the fucking PUA nightmare and some people weren’t and boy that helped us divide properly looking back --Word got back to Loveshy because Of Course It Did --CHAOS ERUPTED because both forums were full of people who Would Not Stop --The thread limit at the time before auto-lock was 50 pages.  In my time across all the GAFF-likes, the closest anyone ever got to the limit was an abortion thread where the drama took it to 30+ pages (IIRC it was locked and a new rule made at that point by the Site Guru?).  Loveshy didn’t hit the limit.  It hit it twice and then a third thread started. --I don’t recall what my/everyone’s stalker was doing at the time because he hadn’t been banned yet, but the answer is probably “showing his cards” --I stuck around as one of the people going “Welp the house is on fire do I go for the fire extinguisher or get the photo albums outside”, but my last post that wasn’t deleted in the purge is, in fact, within a week of the thing cresting --According to the FSTDT post, because of the quotes pouring in from the thread, a FSTDT member got the Loveshy forum TOS’d by their provider on Incitement to Violence/Hatecrime... --...and a WGW member bought the Loveshy.com domain to block them out.  It remains blank and the forum seems to have reopened under love-shy.com. --Finally, all three threads were locked, shoved into the troll cage, the Loveshy members blocked en masse, and the site made a forbidden topic.

tl;dr:

...but for like two weeks solid.  It wasn’t the last nail in the coffin for me, but it was for a lot of folks, and it pretty much had me packing a bug-out bag for when I DID bounce.

It’s funny, I couldn’t fathom for the longest time why it took me so long to leave, but the truth is, I’d forgotten--I had mod status.  I felt obligated to try to fix shit.  That...makes me feel a bit better about the whole thing, honestly.

To end on a lighter note, something I had completely forgotten and I found while searching stuff:

Somewhere about three weeks before we left, and without letting up once, we both referred to Mikey only as Hucklebuck.  And it was glorious.

Tbh I'm old enough to remember loveshys, incels, and the Elliot Rodger shit when it first started happening. It's a shame it literally doesn't go away though. The amount of ego, insecurity, and lack of self awareness that someone has to espouse so much hatred is ridiculous.
