The fields were mowed, the grass dried and stored for worse times so the gates to uncharted territory are open and I could take a look at countryside of the Dutch province of Drenthe from behind the barb wire! I had dismounted my bicycle, parked near the entrance and strolled casually into, what's normally cow territory, the free accessible grasslands, which was a pretty green experience, I can tell you! While riding my bike through the countryside of the Dutch province of Drenthe I crossed a weir, which provides a steady flow of water into the wetlands surrounding it! The sun was setting, but not really low over the landscape and white water rapids lie on the east side of the weir so mostly in the evening it is to dark to get a pretty picture! Luckily for me there was some sunshine left to illuminate the fast flowing water nicely!
