My apologies, I don’t know how I managed to not put the word “sweat” in there, legitimately. As compensation, I’ll give you a snippet from my WIP anyways:

Legend wakes up to acid creeping up his throat. He sits up, quickly and wobbly, and the dizziness that immediately hits him causes him to gag. It brings up nothing but bile, burning his throat and sinuses and making his eyes water. While vomiting takes up all his attention for a solid minute, as soon as if dials itself back into mere nausea, he feels far from better.

His head feels tight around his brain and absolutely pulses, adding white spots to his vision. He’s incredibly cold and he’s physically unable to draw in breath fast enough to recover from throwing up. It gives the unmistakable feeling that he’s about to start suffocating. It all smashes down on him at the same time and for a solid two second he’s weightless, falling, and then someone catches him before he can fall off the bed.

“Hey, hey, shhh, you’re safe,”
