Growing up as a lanky tall girl and super shy, I haven't always been comfortable in my own skin. When you have a mom who watches beauty pageants and critiques the most beautiful women on the planet, it's no surprise I had serious self-esteem issues. Anyway, I grew up seeking approval and always wanting to be liked. It's only in my my late 30s and because of knowing my identity Christ that I've been able to shake that off and step out of my comfort zone, able to put myself in positions that are vulnerable to criticism.
