Why is it BW we see that it was relatively easy for Armin to adapt to Annies love language which we see is sex, physical touch etc but Annie’s had a harder time learning Armins love language?

I'd say one of the reasons is that BW is an Annie-centric story, so normally, more of the focus of the story will be on Annie's emotional growth

But, honestly, that's just the way things fell into place when I imagined them in such settinfs. Like, Armin has many problems of his own, but none of them relate to expressing his feelings or physical intimacy with friends and family (not necessarily sexual)

Annie, on the other hand, has only ever expressed herself in the physical. Whether it's anger, fear, pride, etc she's more likely to express it and find fulfilment for it physically (like, food is one of her favorite things)

So now that she found herself in a relationship, she follows through with the only way she knows and Armin followed along because waiting for Annie to adapt to speaking would leave their intimacy stranded for months to come

It's not really a conscious or mutual thing, but only where both characters are and where id like them to get

Edit: forgot to mention that Annie also isn't great at her preferred mode of expression. Her relationship to sex isn't the healthiest and it takes her a while to shake off her mostly passive attitudes towards it and pleasure
