Through the passage of time, the memories of our journey continue to haunt me. Despite everything that transpired between us, the indelible mark you left on my heart refuses to fade away. It's not that I yearn to sing poetic verses or recite love-stricken ghazals, but there exists a truth that resides within my soul. I believe, humans are bestowed with buckets brimming with love, feelings, efforts, attractions, and attachments - a precious reservoir meant to be spent throughout the course of our lives. And I, without reservation, poured every drop of these into what we never had. I lavished you with affection, devotion, and care, believing that you're my person. But now, as I stand at this juncture, I find myself with an emptiness that resonates to the core. I gave my all, investing my heart and soul in you, only to be left with an unfathomable void. It feels as though my very essence has been depleted, and I'm uncertain if I can ever offer the same depth of love to anyone else. The wellspring of emotions I once possessed seems to have run dry, leaving me feeling unable to connect with others on any level. The thought of opening my heart again terrifies me, for I fear it will echo hollow, unable to offer the depth of feeling it once had. Yet, I am not bitter//I do not regret the love I gave. For it is a part of who I am, a testament to the capacity of my heart to love fiercely and unconditionally. But in giving so much, I find myself at a crossroad, struggling to find the strength to fill those buckets again.
