very out of nowhere and personal post, but i feel so loved lately. in my real personal life AND online i've had so many positive interactions with others and it makes me so aaaaa !! fuzzy happy inside!! it's genuinely making my life so much better and easier. if you're mutuals/friends with me and reading this pls know you're amazing and awesome and you mean so much to me <3<3

honestly, even when a writer does say they’ll update weekly/on a schedule i’ll forget 90% of the time and then the email is just a! wonderful surprise! i Really don’t understand why people feel so entitled to fanfic updates

literally same!! like - life is unpredictable! i literally don’t know anyone who has ever been able to stick to a strict updating schedule bc Things are always happening, and like.

for the sake of my sanity, my real life has to take priority over fandom. always. no exceptions. bc i didn’t push myself to stay up late writing on saturday or write all day sunday, i had the energy to go to the lake with my wife and some of our friends. i got to lay in the water and drink lemonade and watch the bees in the tall grass.

i’m chronically ill, i have to be soooo careful and choosy about where i put my time and energy and sometimes i just do not have the capacity to engage in fandom, or write a chapter, or edit, or reply to comments. i can’t even text people back or get out of my bed on bad pain days.

anyway i appreciate all the kind messages from everyone. y’all are wonderful, and the reason that i’m sticking around. AND a special shout out to zo, green, & orlando for bein' The Best and wanting to beat that other anon’s ass ❤️
