Crystal (pt. 1)
Tumblr media
Sit back and kick your feet up a while, we have a lot of places to go through!
So much so, this will need a reblog with a part 2!
Tumblr media
@entropytea - Crystal, Balmung | Mist W13, P42
Tumblr media
This house's layout was stunning! Despite it being a small, the use of lofts and partitions made the space seem so much larger!
Not to mention, it's all very beautifully furnished! It looked like I was walking into a designer home! Also, very big fan of the gazebo leading into the house. What a clever use of it!
------------
Crystal, Balmung | Goblet W9, Sultana's Breath Wing 1 Apt 39
Tumblr media
The apartment was similarly gorgeous. The layout is beyond amazing, and really makes you feel like you're stepping into some sort of woodland hut that maybe you should not have. Cozy, but a little ominous at the same time!

He was trying to blend in with the flowers. Silly boy.
What a lovely FC hall! Very spacious, but at the same time very cozy!
I love all the facilities and how thoughtfully they cater to the company's residents. Even down to the little dressing room leading to the stage downstairs. Very cute.
I also had a toot around the rooms that were open, and I must say, there are a lot of pretty, creative rooms in there! Each one had its own distinct personality, and I loved looking through them all. <3

@alannah-corvaine - Crystal, Balmung | Mist W17, P18

All I have to say is wow
The interior of this house is so well-done, every nook and cranny is filled with decor that really brings the whole thing together! Along with the BGM, you'd think you were walking into an Ishgardian manor, not a seaside cottage!
Definitely worth a look if you're in the area! <3
Tumblr media
@wayward-hatchling - Crystal, Coeurl | Goblet W23, P13

I was NOT expecting to be invited to an in-game pizzeria of all things! That said, it was VERY cute!!
It really does give off hometown pizzeria vibes, from the brick interior to the wrought iron-backed chairs. It's extremely charming, and I will definitely be coming back sometime.
But before I left, I had to give my husbuns a little dinner date. <3
HIGHLY recommend everyone to visit at some point! It's a very fun little place! And it even has an arcade!
Just mind the mascots. We've seen too many horror games to trust them...
Tumblr media
@disaster-husbun - Crystal, Goblin | Empyreum W26, P42
Tumblr media
First off, hello hello! Nice to see you as I rolled through! <3
You made such good use of the space and slots provided in a large! It's hard to do effectively without blocking off a good chunk of it, but it looks very nice! Spacious, but in a cozy way!
I loved how you decorated each space inside, though the warm, cozy study was my favorite.
My second favorite though, was the basement. The floral walls leading to the tables was very nice, and the walls would be a beautiful space to gpose if you need a patterned backdrop.
Overall, very beautiful home! I would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area!
Tumblr media
@cadrenebula - Crystal, Goblin | Empyreum W25, P59
Tumblr media
Another cute FC hall!
I love the look of the cafe downstairs! It's bright and open while still feeling communal and cozy. I could see myself whiling away the time with a good book and a cup of tea down there.
Very clever with the bookshelf upstairs btw! It's a nice way to make the place cohesive while still giving everyone a little hideaway to their rooms!
Speaking of; both of the rooms are nice! The second room having only the bath is amusing, but I also totally get it. Sometimes you just need a hot bath and no thoughts. xD
Tumblr media
I only had time to get to so many today, unfortunately, but I plan on getting the rest of Crystal and Primal done tomorrow!
Thank you all for allowing me into your beautiful homes so far! I can't wait to visit the rest!

I made Edith's Nightgown from Crimson Peak ✨
I did not use a pattern for this, I did however take some notes. The neckpiece and the body are seperate (just to make it easier to get into). I used a little less than 10m of chiffon (which I randomly found in my fabric stash lol), some lace I had lying around, a buttonhole ribbon and some pearl buttons both of which I got on Amazon. Would definitely recommend at least 10m of fabric if not more for ultimate ruffliness.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The neckpiece was made by cutting out four 70cm circles with a 10cm hole in the middle and sewing those together to form one big long ruffle. I then sewed four parallel lines, with super long stitches and bunched up the fabric to create the ruffle effect. I left the bottom of the neckpiece raw, just because I think it adds a bit of texture. Then I sewed on a buttonhole ribbon and the lil pearl buttons (which I got from amazon).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The body is just a 170cm wide and 150cm long piece and a 170cm x 170cm long piece sewn together, ruffled at the top and with a band of elastic sewn on. The nightgown does have a train so I cut a lil curve into the bottom of the longest piece.
The biggest challenge was the sleeve. Chiffon doesnt hold it's shape very well, so I mixed together some starching fluid (boiled starch and water) and ironed the hell out of it. The bottom of the sleeve I deliberately cut way too long so I could ruffle it. Last thing I did was add some lace to the cuffs. I probably would do a few things differently next time but I'm happy with how it came out. Now I just need a white wig lol ^^
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's the finished result:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Btw, I also found this promo picture and decided it would look great as a background, so if you wanna use it yourself, here ya go, I edited out Lucille for ya. Go nuts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PS: actual footage of me running down the stairs in this lovely flowy nightgown arrrrggghhh I love it so much anyway thanks for reading love ya

Day 19:
(masterpost)
Here's Scott redesign/my take on his design, Unlike El's this one is actually quite different than the card design, I took a lot of inspo from Pinterest necromancers and other artist who drawn his design, I tried to combine elements from everything to make it mine, hope you guy love it as much as I!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was a lot of experimenting with him (I figured out the shocking fact that he in fact doesn't have straight hair most likely) and the pose do not make sense (Idk what I was thinking) but I'm happy with the results!
I included more color variety, white lilies on the hat representing Milo and I kinda made the belt have eyes, idk if you can see it or nah
He also has his little gecko friend! That I kid you not spent at least half an hour searching for his name just to come up empty handed... Did he not name them?? Did I just miss it?? Idk
Just to show how smart decision go into these, the reason why he doesn't have the Loincloth (I spent 10 minutes looking for the name of it) is because it's annoying to draw in a siting position. Specifically in the sitting position I usually draw him. Yeah that's it I'm just to lazy to figure out gravity so nahh
Also you see how my designs lack patterns that were my favorite parts from the card designs? Yeah I'm just too lazy to draw them, I know, not very cutesy nor demure of me '^'
Random add ons: I added a another skull, now he has a skull on his hat. Couldn't decide on nose, went with how I'm feeling at the time of drawing. I drawn the wand that turns him into a ghost and drawn two options for a broom, I went with the second opinion btw. I can't get over the fact not even his is straight, the skin has a hair style much closer to wavy almost definitely not straight like how I thought. Should have known, Scott is as close to straight as a circle.
I was debating his earrings a lot, I wanted him to have multiple but couldn't figure out what type. Btw here's lore I made up on a wimp he definitely got his earrings from Milo and never takes them off because of that as it was a gift for his birthday or something. This is now canon to the comic I'm making. Was it important not? But I'm writing this post at 1am because I procrastinate.
He would make it into Edna's nightmares from Incredibles with all the lose fabric he has on most possible designs, he even got a cape in the final one, he's asking to be suck into a plane propellers.
Making this design also made me discover a new artist, so funny story, my phone was broken so I couldn't really use it to listen to music so I used my sister's laptop, I also used that for ref pic btw, and the laptop is logged into her account. I didn't want to mess up her YouTube history and was too lazy to log in the try to log out of my Google account so I opened up incognito, I typed in YouTube and searched "necromancer playlist" and let the ai do it's thing. I'm not kidding when I say this, you can check it for yourself, the second playlist is literally called "playlist for the non binary necromancers" like it was made for me specifically xd Btw really good compilation kudos to whoever made it! Anyway the new artist I found is Bear Ghost, specifically recommend Necromancin dancin and Starkiller.

hi!! I loved your anime recommendations, especially the ones about romance, I watched them all and I agree with you on them! so I wanted to ask you if you have more recs on the same genre :) or just ones that you really like please! thank you in advance!
Hello !!!! thank you so much for the ask !! I’m happy you liked the recs :)  I’d like to know more about your thoughts on them if you're comfortable because they are some of my favorites,,
anyways, I’ve taken a break from anime for a while, but I do have a few more recs for you if you haven’t already seen them:  (this is a very weird mix of anime btw, the themes can jump from complete fluffy goodness to emotional damage so sorry in advance for the very mixed bag I have constructed for you)
1. Sasaki to Miyano
I love this anime so much, it’s so wholesome and it’s always refreshing to me to see lgbtq+ pairings that aren’t absolutely toxic. It follows a boy named Miyano and he slowly starts gaining feelings for Sasaki and coming to terms with his sexuality. All of the characters are super lovable too which is always a plus. Its short, light on angst, and a super cute watch! (Genre: Slice of Life, Romance / 13 Episodes)
Tumblr media
2. Orange
Orange put me through some things I’m not gonna lie. It was a very emotional watch for me and that’s why it’s so high up on the list. it’s a bit of a slower anime and it has a lot of layers, but I really enjoyed it personally. It kind of had similar vibes to My Little Monster, but it does have a darker plot. It also has a cool time travel/sci-fi twist without making it to technical (just how I like it). You can really feel for a lot of the characters and I think it makes for a very captivating story. I would recommend it to anyone. (Genre: Drama, Slice of Life, Romance / 13 Episodes)
Tumblr media
3. Umibe no Etranger/The Stranger by the Shore
This is a movie, but it’s absolutely stunning. The art and animation is so cool and as an artist I really found myself appreciating the amount of detail. Every scene is gorgeous. It takes place on an island where two people re-connect and fall in love. There’s angst, happiness, and a really pretty vibe to the whole thing. It’s not my favorite, but I do think it’s worth a watch. (Genre: Drama, Romance)
Tumblr media
4. Beastars
okay hear me out-- This anime is a little out there, but genuinely really good. The characters being animals threw me off, but the story and the world is insanely well planned and thought out and I was hooked from episode one. It’s definitely not your typical romance, in fact it’s barely a romance, but its definitely present and a part of the the main storyline. It has dark themes and the storytelling is really good. I give this anime an 11/10 and I say that with my full chest. It's just really different from other shows and my pattern-scouting brain can normally guess the plot of an anime by episode three, but not this one, I genuinely had no idea where it was going.  (Genre: Drama, " Coming-of-age Drama Fantasy” / 2 Seasons)
Tumblr media
5. Horimiya
Just a silly little anime that I did really like. Sometimes I like taking a break from stories that really drag me into the plot and the emotion and just watch lighthearted things that can take my mind off stress for a little bit, and this anime falls into that category. The characters are very modern and the story was actually really refreshing so if you're looking for something like that then this is definitely an anime you should consider watching,, the art style is also gorgeous.  (Genre: Romance, Shojo / 13 Episodes)
Tumblr media
6. Romantic Killer
A funny/lighthearted anime to mix in with the group incase you would rather save yourself from any angst. It was corny and fun to watch and the art style is really bright and pretty. I also really liked the character designs. I really had to give the anime a good fighting chance, but I did like it after a few episodes. It follows a girl who finds herself stuck in all sorts of stereotypical/trope type romantic scenarios with multiple love interests and she’s just like “this is a no from me” the entire time and it made for a fun watch. It helped take my mind off the day to day, and it’s nice when a show can do that. (Genre: Romantic comedy, Comedy drama / 12 Episodes)
Tumblr media
That’s all the romance/romance-ish recs I have at the moment, sorry it took me second to respond I wanted to sit down and answer it correctly when I had the time to do it,, but like I said, send me your full thoughts about them if you're comfortable I’d love to hear and I hope you like some of these ones as well!!
- Have a nice day !!

Thoughts on sending the ladies to therapy before we take this plunge??
I'm loving KTB so far! Your characterizations are spot on in my opinion!!! I'm Latina, and Bi, consider myself fem for the most part, and have changed my hair more times then I can count. Callie would definitely cut her hair!!!! Knowing she was going on this date & being unsure about everything she would want to cut it for the physical representation that she's ready for something new. Ignore ignorant people that get so caught up in the boxes we're "supposed" each fit into. What's the fun in being queer if you can't bend the rules and change it up when you need a fresh start or need to show your sexy ex wife & yourself that things are different?! End of rant...
So back to therapy. I feel as though they both probably would've gone to therapists after Callie moved to New York. It was A LOT! I'm hoping in your fic Callie has worked on herself when it comes to communicating & especially listening... I'm also hoping Arizona will see herself falling backwards with the smoking and second guessing herself and realize that before she jumps she's gotta check in again and remember all the hard work she did to trust herself and be open to trusting others...
eeeekkk I'm so nervous they will just repeat old patterns & your fic is so good that I want it to be different for our girls!!! You have shown so much care in not rushing anything and allowing them to each move at their own speed. I love it!! Please consider some type of therapy. I know Callie has Gloria but she mostly stays out of it and our curvy goddess needs someone to be all up in it!!! Lol
ugh YES hi, you’ve definitely articulated a lot of my thoughts here. i’ve always identified strongly as fem/femme, and been received by the world as intensely feminine regardless of what i did with my hair— even when i fully shaved my head a few years ago (an experience i cannot recommend enough btw)
but, yes, back to therapy. if i did explore therapy for calzona, i’d want to do something very centered on it a la a whisper of solace by milena mckay. start every chapter with a therapy session and really dig into it. i think at this point in ktb, it’s too late to introduce a distinct therapy plot line because i’d want to do it justice— but i am planning to put arizona in therapy around chapter 17/18 and have it be sort of peripheral. we’d see, like, the beginning of one session to indicate that she’s getting serious about healing but it wouldn’t be everything i’d want it to be
ktb is definitely not about making them perfect, but making them better. and to that end, i’d love to see them in therapy but i can’t promise it’ll be as extensive as we’d need it to be for them to actually be, like, fully healed by the end of this fic as much as i want to fix them
that said, here’s an excerpt of chapter 18 arizona Doing Growth below the cut:

All of the above are kind of the same difference as that between "Animals are dogs" and "Dogs are animals". (If you assume that all antis are teens, or all misogynists are men, that is. Which I don't. But I know some people do.)
Do you learn formal logic in school? I did in Romania, but it was poorly taught enough that few Romanians are good logicians, even if the subject is neat and helpful. But it's a fringe subject, so I'm not sure how other countries view the matter.
Formal logic is pretty neat, because it shows you that while the terms can change, the logic underneath arguments remains the same.
So. "All A are B" (e.g. all dogs are animals) doesn't necessarily translate to "All B are A" (e.g. all animals are dogs). This is a false equivalence that will always be a false equivalence, no matter what the "B" and the "A" are.
Therefore, "All antis are teenagers" and "All teenagers are antis"; "All mysoginistic pricks are men" and "All men are mysoginistic pricks"; "All wheelchair users are disabled" and "All disabled people are wheelchair users" are automatically false equivalences. You don't need to judge every individual case to know this - you simply have to know you cannot flip the statement around and expect it to be true. All you can say for sure is that some animals are dogs, some teens are antis, some men are mysoginistic pricks and some disabled people are wheelchair users.
To make any other deduction, you would need more information.
Now, because logic is abstract, once you start seeing the patterns, you can easily recognize them in arguments. HOWEVER. Logic is also dry and unintuitive, so I've got two tricks that help.
The first is replacement. Because logic always works the same, you can replace unfamiliar terms with things that are clear and obvious and see how the arguments work.
Let's say someone tells you "All misogynistic pricks are men" and you determine this is an absolutely true statement, 100% (I disagree, but let's ignore that). Then, they say, it follows that all men are misogynistic pricks. The "it follows" part means you should pause and replace the terms with something that's very familiar to you. "All dogs are animals" - absolutely true, 100%. Does it follow that this works 100% of the time? "All animals are dogs"? No. The logic doesn't hold. Therefore, you can't flip "All misogynistic pricks are men" around, either.
There are some cases in which "All A are B" and "All B are A" are both true (all common cats are felis catus; all felis catus are common cats), but, again, you need more information for that. You can't deduce it by knowing just one of those two statements.
The second trick is drawing sets and diagrams.
Tumblr media
You can see at a glance that there's a lot of space for other things in "Animals". Is there anything there? Maybe. Maybe not.
Well, obviously, there are a lot of other animals. But it's possible to have a similar diagram that's more ambiguous, I guess.
Tumblr media
There we go. Do I have other siblings I mentioned, who I don't love? Or is that larger circle genuinely empty? It's undetermined.
I personally love representing things with sets because they allow for more complexity in specific situations. I can write down the things I know and see, at a glance, what I don't know.
How would I draw "misogynistic pricks"? Perhaps there would be a corner outside of the larger set of "men", allowing for non-men to be misogynistic pricks. I would definitely have a part of "antis" that's outside of teens, but also teens that are outside antis.
Tumblr media
And then I see where I put specific dots representing those involved.
("Some teens are antis" is equivalent with "some antis are teens", btw.)
But sometimes sets are too complex, when a simple substitution can show that an argument is wrong.
Anyway, if you're interested in things like "What deductions can I make from "All X are Y"? What can I infer, if I know that "No X is Y"?", I strongly recommend Aristotelian logic. As a warning, it can be a bit dry because it works with abstracts, so if it looks scary at first, find someone who can explain it so it makes sense to you. Once you get a hang of it, it becomes simple, easy, and helpful.
(Stoic logic is also cool. It allows for more complex ideas and you can string them together in logical chains.)
It's actually very simple, when you make a sweeping statement about a large a diverse demographic (eg "men" or "disabled people" or "teenagers") you are making that statement about ALL those people, not just the subgroup that your statement actually applies to.
"Teenagers are antis" is factualy incorrect; "There's a growing problem with English-speeking teens in fandom adopting antishipper ideology" describes an actual problem without making dumb assumptions about people based on their age and nothing else, and without negating the fact that many antis are in their twenties.
"There is a misogyny problem among men" is true. "Men like to hurt women, because they are men, and wishing to harm women is a defining fact of manhood, and a good person who is a man is a tautological impossibility" is moronic.
"Disabled people need wheelchairs" isn't not true, but it's backwards. If you're about to talk for twelve pages accesible architecture on college campuses, you might lead with "wheelchair users" or "physically disabled people" instead of undermining your argument by implying that wheelchair ramps are a necessity for people with schizophrenia, or by setting up a premise that you're talking about all disabled people and then just ignoring that mental/intellectual disabilities exist.

hello! I originally followed you for Star Wars but I’ve since got into Tolkien as well, and I saw your rant about mando’a (loved it btw) and since you know a lot about conlangs i was wondering if you know whether it’s possible to learn sindarin almost fluently? would quenya be easier/better? do you have any idea how? (also how do you pronounce quenya, is it like the country or different??) if not no worries, thanks anyway!!
Hi! The question of fluency when it comes to conlangs, especially fictional languages, is really difficult because it almost entirely depends upon your definition of what it means to be fluent. If fluency to you means being able to have a conversation in the language, then I'm afraid both Quenya and Sindarin are going to be a disappointment to you. Tolkien famously said that Sindarin was incomplete as a language, and even from just my brief explorations into the lexicon, it's become clear to me that Sindarin just isn't a language you can properly use in day to day life.
However! If fluency to you means a deep familiarity with the language, as well as a familiarity with how to systematically create new words out of the already rich lexicon, then I'd say it's totally achievable! A lot of people who learn any of Tolkien's languages end up creating their own words in accordance with the stems, affixes, and patterns he left behind.
As to whether Quenya or Sindarin is easier, I couldn't say as I've never learned either. If pressed, I'd recommend Sindarin just because it's more developed as a language, so you might get less lost in the weeds of trying to figure out how to say things Tolkien never developed the means to say.
And. Uh. I would LOVE to tell you how to pronounce Quenya, but I've been skating along managing never to pronounce it for years because I. just don't know.

hi !!!! i’m in my last year of high school and i’m about to apply to several fashion schools to study fashion design next year. i still have a lot of things to do, for example a portfolio >< so i have to make some projects that i can show in that portfolio and for that i’d like to make my own fabrics :) so i absolutely need a handloom, and that’s where i need your help ^^
do you think a rigid heddle loom is adequate to make fabrics for fashion ? for example denim or a sort of knitted fabric ? (i know knitted ≠ woven, but if i use fine yarns and not big ones i’m afraid knitting won’t be easy), what do you think ? love xx
hi!! so there's a few things to address - here's an article explaining the basics of woven structures in fabrics. I think understanding this is fundamental when even considering learning how to weave as well as necessary information for anyone who wants to study fashion or textiles in any capacity. denim, for instance, is not a plain woven fabric (one thread over, one thread under, repeat) it is usually a 3x1 twill (three threads over, one thread under, repeat) which means it's woven structure requires a bit more manipulation. for fabric production, typically twills are woven on looms with at least 4 shafts.
i think a rigid heddle loom is a great starter loom for people who want to get into weaving and learn the basics especially when it comes to learning how to warp a loom and the basic math involved in it (just very simple multiplication you can do using a calculator) and there's a lot you can do with a rigid heddle. there are endless tutorials and patterns for weaving with rigid heddle looms as they are by far the most accessible form of loom that uses heddles/shafts to create the woven structure. there's so much you can do with just a rigid heddle and never get bored of it.
however, it's good to keep in mind that if you want to weave any woven structure more complex than plain weave on a rigid heddle loom you will have to either hand manipulate the warp using pick up sticks, learn how to make heddle rods (you cut strings and wrap them around the warp threads and attach them to dowels, and lift these dowels to act as extra heddles), or buy extra rigid heddles of the same size. the first option is cheapest and most time consuming while the last is most expensive but least time consuming, and the other falls somewhere in the middle. regardless, a rigid heddle even with extra rigid heddles will likely still be cheaper than buying a 4 shaft loom. these are just things to be aware of and keep in mind.
something to keep in mind when considering buying/using extra rigid heddles is that it doesn't work in the same way as a 4 shaft loom. what i mean by this is that a single rigid heddle functions like having 2 shafts on a loom, but having a second rigid heddle only adds one more shaft, it doesn't turn the loom into a 4 shaft loom. this is because half the threads that go through each rigid heddle will be threaded through the open slot and not the eye. if you aren't familiar with how rigid heddle looms work this article explains how adding rigid heddles changes your weaving and i recommend checking out any rigid heddle articles on that website (handwoven.com) because it's an excellent resource when learning.
btw i would definitely consider your idea to knit using fine yarns. if you know how to cast on, knit and purl and cast off then using thin yarns is absolutely doable. to make things easier as well, something that can be really stunning is using fine yarns and larger needles to create really thin, open fabrics almost like lace or mesh. i love knitting with very thin mohair/brushed wool yarns and fat needles, they 'bloom' in a beautiful way and create a cool effect. experimentation with these things and seeing where you can take techniques and concepts and pushing these boundaries is important and textile profs/programs really like it when students get creative with these things, at least in my experience.
best of luck with applications and your portfolio!! it can be nerve-wracking but it's helpful to remember that you're applying for an undergraduate program/diploma/certificate/whatever fresh out of high school and your professors are not expecting you to know everything. the point of attending your program is to teach you these things :-) with these kinds of portfolios they care most about seeing your potential, that you have a willingness to learn and creativity, and with more knowledge and time and practice to develop that potential you can be capable of great work. you don't have to capable of making incredible masterpieces right now and they don't expect that of you, so be kind to yourself during this time and try to keep that mind <3 take care

ok I decided I wanted to do the “questions for fic authors” now
I’m procrastinating :) Warning that some of these answers link to NSFW fics or dip into mentions of NSFW subjects.
Original post here!
1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work?
Mm I would say either Tight Fit (FFXV) or Falling (And Rising Again) (Twisted Wonderland). Tight Fit in particular is my most well received work, but I feel like Falling gives a good idea of what I’m about in a third as many words. I tend toward hurt/comfort and romance (Tight Fit is explicitly Promptis) as well as friend/family feels. Also humor? I try to be funny anyway lol.
2. Top 3-5 Most Used Tags
1. Pre-canon (31)
2. Established Relationship (25)
3. Hurt/Comfort (9)
4. Angst (7)
5. Fluff (5)
UHHHH “Pre-canon” being the most prominent tag is probably the fault of me being in the process of moving all my One Piece fics from FFN over; I did a 30 fics challenge for Silvers Rayleigh and so unsurprisingly most of the fics from that collection were pre-canon. Otherwise this is pretty representative; I prefer established relationships to developing ones and as for H/C, angst, fluff... yeah that’s pretty much my whole brand right there.
I was really scared one of the kink tags would be in this list HAHAHA
3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?
Fucking making a bitch fall asleep to end a scene, does that count? LMAO
I know if you threw all my fics into a word cloud generator and saw what popped up some patterns would definitely emerge  (and one of them would be overuse of the words “just” and “a bit,” I swear I’m trying to cut back!!), but I don’t think I’m self-aware enough to be able to tell you what my characteristic tropes are.
My writing style does tend to lean more on short descriptions and lots of dialogue, if that helps.
4. What detail in a fic are you really proud of?
The thing that I’m most excited about now is something in a fic that I haven’t put on AO3 yet so I can’t say that one hahaha.
I will say in Fresh Air, I made it explicit that Dedue is the first to realize something is wrong with Dimitri, but that it’s Byleth that pulls him out of his ensuing panic spiral, because I think it’s appropriate for both of their characters, something that one of my dear friends commented on later. It’s nice to see stuff like that getting caught!
5. What do you wish someone would ask you about a fic?
Hhhhhh hmm... actually I’d probably love to go into a way too long ramble about the finer points of the AU I’ve created for Say You’ll Stay With Me but I ACTUALLY NEED TO FINISH THAT FIC before said finer points even become relevant so... I won’t say it here. I can’t really think of anything else though.
6. What’s one fact about the universe of a fic that you didn’t get a chance to mention in the fic itself?
We only get Aomine’s perspective in Hold On To Me so we all missed Himuro getting ready to kick his ass for breaking his little brother’s heart. Kagami talked him out of it though, no worries.
7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?
I know I need to get back to both fics but I really like the worldbuilding I’ve been doing in Say You’ll Stay With Me as well as Justice, especially in the latter it’s been fun to think about how Akechi’s personality changes the story when he’s in what is usually Akira’s place.
8. What song would make a great fic?
Someone have your character break out of prison the guy in the song Ol’ Red does LOL
9. How do you find new fic to read?
I haunt certain tags, especially specific character/pairing tags. I’m rarely in main fandom tags unless it’s just a really small fandom. More often though I just avidly refresh the tags of the characters and/or pairings I’m most into. The only real exception is the Kink I’m Trying Not To Name in this post, I haunt that tag too lol.
Btw when I say pairing tags I also mean gen relationship tags (ones with &), like right now I’ve been haunting the Donatello & Leonardo (TMNT) tag. So be sure even if you’re a gen writer that you’re using relationship tags! We’re out here!
10. How do you decide what to write?
The way I usually describe it is that an idea has to “crystalize” for me to decide it’s something that I want to write. Basically, that means if I can not just think out the general trajectory of the story but also can see certain scenes really clearly in my mind, including actions and dialogue I want to write. It doesn’t mean I have everything planned out when I start (I’m a pantser for sure), but if I don’t have those certain touchstones of scenes that are already really solid in my brain I know I won’t be able to write the fic, even if I love the baseline idea.
Sometimes though even if a single scene has really crystalized for me, if I can’t get the bits and pieces to get there to form then I still won’t be able to do it. I would like to start doing more of what I used to do back in my RinRei days, though, and just put stuff like that on tumblr, when there’s something that’s really clear in my mind but not what goes around it. I did this a bit with AzuJami recently but maybe I should do it more often...
11. Are you partial to a certain character/pairing or are you more equal-opportunity?
OOOH I definitely have biases and it shows. Usually I have a favorite character I brainrot about the hardest and they’re all I want to write for.
That said, if I really really love a fandom I can still branch out from time to time, if the mood strikes me. Right now the fandoms I have the most fics for are One Piece and Free!, so they’re the most representative samples. Most often I wrote about Sanji and Rei respectively, so if you look through my fic for those fandoms you’ll see those names most often, HOWEVER especially for OP I wrote about plenty of other characters and pairings that didn’t include Sanji too, and I did so here and there for Free! as well.
I think as I’ve gotten older and just had less time and attention span to spare on writing, I’ve gotten more selective, and so usually I spend the biggest amount of my time writing for the pairings and characters I really care about to the exclusion of others, which is why my OP library (written almost entirely while I was in high school) is more varied (because I was probably cranking out 10K to 20K words a week) but my TWST library is exclusively Azul focused. It’s not that I don’t like other TWST characters/pairings (I actually have a partially finished LeoRuggie fic sitting in my google docs), it’s just that I only have so much energy lol.
12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?
HMMM... I don’t know if my tastes have changed THAT much over time but I’m more open to certain kinks than I used to be, especially like omegaverse stuff and pet play. As far as SFW tropes go though I can’t really think of anything in particular.
13. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?
I’m not interested in slow burn romance anymore. If they aren’t kissing by the 20K word mark I’m out of here.
Also character death. There are ways to write character death well, but most of the time it feels like cheap shock value to try and manipulate me into crying.
14. Are there any tropes you would only read if written by a trusted friend or writer?
The two above, mainly. There’s really good ways to do both but you gotta earn my trust before you do it to me lol
15. What’s your favorite AU you’ve written?
Again probably the one for Say You’ll Stay With Me, which is FFXV without the prophecy and also the war ended earlier, and also Prompto never got out of Niflheim. It’s been fun to examine how this changes the story.
16. What’s an AU you would love to read/have read and loved?
I’m not HUGE on AUs but I’m really partial to MT!Prompto fics, and especially I would rec Poor Wayfaring Stranger by lithos_saeculum and Running Behind by Asidian.
I also really loved (do you take this jerk to be) your one and only by jatersade (ATLA);  a Zukka fic where the war ended early and Zuko is arranged to be married to Yue.
17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?
Um I don’t know if I would be the only one to appreciate it but a fic has been kicking around in my head where Jamil is turned into a genie and forced to serve the Asim family until his lamp is bought by Azul. It’s much more complicated than that but that’s the basics.
Most of my “AUs” that I like most still take place in the same world but mess around with the events of the timeline or base mechanics of the story, in case that wasn’t clear by literally all the AU fics I’ve listed so far being ones that are still set in their original world lol.
18. If you wrote a sequel to a fic, what would it involve?
I always had an idea for a sequel to... um... okay well this involves The Kink That I Was Trying Not To Name.
I had an idea for a sequel to Breaking The Seal (Sk8) that I never wrote (mind the tags, pls). I won’t get into the specifics here but I guess if you want to know, send me an ask LMAO.
It would have been real good too... maybe I’ll still write it one day if I can get myself to rewatch Sk8.
I also wanted to write a sequel to I Keep On Hopin' (We'll Eat Cake By The Ocean) where Azul and Jamil dip into dom/sub and obedience kinks to fulfill both Jamil’s desire to control and his desire to be praised, in a safe and fun way that is good for both of them! And I still do want to do that eventually.
19. If you wrote a spin-off of a fic, what would it involve?
I don’t really want to write spin-offs of any of my own fics that I can think of. Sometimes I read someone else’s fic and want to take some idea there and spin-off into my own thing but I always feel bad about it so I just leave it for an imagine spot for myself and don’t actually do it, lol.
20. If you wrote a prequel to a fic, what would it involve?
I had an original idea for an AzuJami fic that basically turned into what happened before I Keep On Hopin’ (We’ll Eat Cake By The Ocean), but in the end I kept getting frustrated with it so I didn’t write it. But basically it would have centered on Azul dealing with his body image issues while trying to have sex with Jamil the first time, even without his real body involved.
21. If you wrote a “missing scene” in a fic, what would it be?
I would have had them dance in Masked Faces, Gloved Hands if I’d known they were going to dance in the rhythmic!!
22. Who is your favorite character in your fics, and why?
I’m going to change this to which characters I have the most fun writing for in my fandoms, and those are Azul (TWST), Flayn (FE3H), Ryuji (P5), Prompto (FFXV), Rei (Free), Karkat (HS), Kagami (KnB), Jack Spicer (XS), Theseus (Hades), Reki (Sk8), Donnie (ROTTMNT), Usopp (OP), Nozomi (Love Live), and Marius (ToT).
Two of those fandoms aren’t on my AO3 because I never moved their fics from my tumblr... I should fix that LOL.
23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?
HMMM... I guess I wanna write some fuck or die at some point but I need a canon where I won’t feel bad for doing it.
24. Are there any easter eggs in your fics, and if so, what are they?
Probably plenty in my OP fics but I’m too tired to think of them now... I used to have an encyclopedic knowledge of OP but I’ve forgotten literally everything in the last decade lol.
I don’t really go out of my way to add easter eggs in my more recent fics, though I do reference things from time to time.
25. What other websites or resources do you use most often when you write?
Fan wikis, medical sites, official subtitles if I can get ahold of them.
26. Would you rather write a fic that had no dialogue or one that was only dialogue?
I have done both! I’d probably rather do no dialogue though since it gives you more freedom, but dialogue only can be fun especially for more comedic fics, imo.
27. How long did it take to write [insert fic]? Describe the process.
This one is hard to answer because how long it takes me to write a fic depends on a lot of stars aligning at once. If I’m sufficiently motivated, have time, and really feeling the brainrot, I can do it pretty quickly - writing a 2K-3K word fic in a single session, usually about 5 or so hours, is something I’ve done many times.
Usually I get all my actual writing done in short bursts like that, rather than working steadily on it over a long time. Like, on all the fics I haven’t updated in too long, the hold up is trying to get myself in the right headspace to do it. If I’m not then I’m just not, or otherwise I could wrap it up pretty quick.
Trust me, no one gets more frustrated with my brain than me.
28. Does anyone read your fics before you post them?
I have a friend who reads some of them when we share fandoms, but she isn’t really a beta (though she’ll point out obvious mistakes where she sees them). I’m too impatient for a beta reader honestly, I just want to get the fic written and then get it away from me asap, lol.
29. Playlist for fics?
I don’t do playlists but I’ll do something different here and talk about the recent fics where I used song lyrics for the title, and why I picked that song.
I Keep On Hopin’ (We’ll Eat Cake By The Ocean) (Cake By The Ocean by DNCE): pretty self-explanatory if you know what the fic is about, I think (that is, octopus sex in the water). I’ve never truly understood the metaphor about “cake by the ocean” as opposed to “candy on the dry land” but it still felt appropriate here, lol.
Hold On To Me (Unsteady by X Ambassadors): Hold on to me, because I’m a little unsteady~ It’s an immediate reference to Kagami being paralyzed, but more importantly about the turmoil Aomine is going through as he tries to navigate his new relationship after the thing he THINKS is keeping them together is gone (but not really).
Say You’ll Stay With Me (Oh, Pretty Woman by Ray Orbison) : this is a pretty woman AU, the song is pretty woman, yep that’s it
Collar Full of Chemistry (From Your Company) (Collar Full by Panic! at the Disco): This is my P3/P5 crossover AU that is kind of a Ken/Akechi fic and kind of an Akeshu fic. I went with a reference to this song because of “I won’t leave any doubt or stone unturned” and “if you’re gonna be the death of me that’s how I wanna go,” since so much of the fic is Ken trying to figure out Akechi’s deal, and also, at the end, save him from himself.
30. Have you ever written something that was out of your comfort zone?
Any time I write a new kink I step out of my comfort zone a bit haha but the biggest one was probably Sick Day (Free!, NSFW, PLEASE READ THE TAGS), which was the first time I put my foot into writing something like this but I had a great time, and really got more into exploring kinks like that after. Similarly with Peace and Quiet (Free!, NSFW), which is the first dom/sub fic I ever wrote.
Also it's kind of funny to think back on how Scoot Over (Free!, NSFW) was my first smut fic, and it's a freaking fivesome, because I don't do anything by halves I GUESS.
I wish I had non-smut answers for this but I don’t, sorry LMAO.
31. What’s your ideal fic length to write?
3K-5K words, it’s what I usually shoot for when I’m doing one shots. For chapters in a fic, between 5K and 8K words. But I go over or under depending on what I have to say for that particular thing.
32. What’s your ideal fic length to read?
It depends! Usually I only click on fics that are at least 1.5K words as one shots and at least 3K words for chapter fics (if they’re only on their first chapter). And I usually avoid fics that go over 50K words, unless it’s something that really grabs me. This is pretty arbitrary and every author is different but I usually think if that’s the kind of word mileage you’re getting then you’re properly fleshing out your story, or at least in my estimation. But I also don’t have patience for long fics, except in certain cases.
33. Asking about chapter lengths, which I answered above not aware this question was coming, oops!
34. What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?
Very few lol... I don’t write about situations that are similar to my life very often (I mean I don’t even date aldjf;ad).
I was a competitive swimmer from elementary school through high school but almost none of my free fics were actually about swimming so my experience didn’t really help me there LMAO.
35. What aspects of your writing are completely unlike your real life?
/waves at last question
36. Do you visualize what you read/write?
No because my brain doesn’t really do visuals at all. I do hear the characters’ voices when I’m writing dialogue, and usually if I can’t actually imagine the line delivery a voice actor would give doing the line I’ll try to rewrite it.
37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves).
The Patron Saint of Sneaking Around (Ferdinand/Flayn, NSFW) is a fic I did recently for a smut challenge. I know it didn't get a lot of traction because Flayn ships aren't super popular but I had such a good time writing it and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Also, Love to Go Around (Rin/Rei/Sousuke, NSFW) is one I wrote years ago but I still really liked how it turned out. I don't normally enjoy cheating as a plot point but for this fic I really enjoyed playing with the concept.
38. Did any of your fics get surprisingly popular?
So not so much anything I’ve written recently, but my OP fic Room for Two was really popular back on FFN (I still haven’t moved it to my AO3 account, no link because I’m lazy). It helped that it was Sanji&Zoro-centric (besides being a juggernaut ship they were also a juggernaut gen pairing), but also I went with a somewhat unique concept, that Zoro’s consciousness was removed from his body and put in Sanji’s - not a full bodyswap but more body-sharing. It’s still probably the longest fic I’ve ever written (actually Kiss Kiss may be longer but I’m too lazy to go look) and the most successful. I still get reviews occasionally back on FFN for it and I’ve been asked to bring it to AO3 (I will! eventually!).
Tight Fit is my most popular fic on AO3, though it was never quite as popular as Room for Two. Still it was Promptis (popular FFXV pairing) and also Prompto Whump, which is a lot of people’s favorite genre of FFXV (mine too!).
39. Is any aspect of your writing process inspired by other writers or people?
I do spend a lot of time reading writing advice or watching videos on writing, but there’s not really one particular author I try to style myself after. Though I will cannibalize other quirks of people’s writing if I want to do that too, lol. Like if someone has a really good style for descriptions I’ll try to examine why I like it and then think about it in my own writing.
40. Do you tend to reread fics?
I reread fics all the time.  What’s the point of bookmarks if you’re not gonna reread!
Also maybe this is conceited of me but I reread my own fics constantly. I mean, I am writing things that are tailored to what I want to see, so. I’m just scratching my own itches haha.
41. Link a fic that made you think, “Wow, I want to write like that.”
I already linked lithos-saeculum’s fic Poor Wayfaring Stranger further up the post (in the AU questions). Their writing is INCREDIBLE, and they really put a lot of thought into everything that goes into that fic. I think about it all the time.
For a new one on this post, I love the snappy dialogue in The Old College Try by ashemarie is so snappy and fun and in character. I aspire to be so good!
42. Have you ever received a comment that particularly stood out to you for whatever reason?
I really appreciate the comments that tell me what they liked or what worked about my fics, It helps me know what to keep up in the future.
But my favorite comment will always be the one where my friend said my birthday fic for her healed her with black magic <3 She thought I wouldn’t write the pairing BUT OBVIOUSLY I WOULD.
43. skipping this because I don’t take prompts sorry
44. and same for this
I used to take prompts a long time ago and sometimes I still throw up prompt lists for friends on the other social media I use, but in general I won’t be motivated to write something unless I come up with the idea.
45. What’s something that you’ve improved on since you started writing fic?
/stares into the middle distance “Sometimes it feels like I’m never improving”
Uh but being more kind to myself, I’ve really worked on cutting down on unnecessary filter words and spending more time on the more important stuff, like feelings and descriptions.
46. Do you prefer writing on your phone or on a computer?
I usually write on my laptop, but sometimes I’ll pull up my googledocs on my phone just to read over a WIP and then I’ll start writing on it if I feel like it.
47. I’m skipping this one because it confuses me!
48. What was the last fic you read? Do you recommend it?
It was And... We're Off! (ROTTMNT) by SailorSaysAhoy and I would! It's very cute. Just brother love, which I love to see! Also I love Donnie and Mikey being little shits to their older brothers (when they deserve it, which they did).
49. What are you currently working on?
“Hey, wait, does that mean we can ask you to build anything we want?”
“What-”
Raph gasped, pumping his arm excitedly in his seat. “I can finally get my skate hawks!”
“That’s not-”
“Pizza oven pizza oven pizza oven!” Mikey cheered, throwing his arms up in elation.
“Hey, stop interrupting, this is <i>my</i> speech!” Donnie folded his arms, glaring down at them. “Why are you all assuming I’ll lose, anyway?”
“Uh, no offense, Donnie,” said Raph, “but you always lose.”
“I’m <i>literally</i> standing on the winner’s podium! Right now!” He waved the medal. “Do you not see this!?”
((Excuse my html marks. I like doing html instead of rich formatting lol))

👉👈 could I get some bolin x reader. Something soft? Like kisses all over his face oland/or vice versa
of course! i adore this request so much. i apologize if it’s kind of short, i hope you enjoy. btw, i’ve never really written with gender neutral!reader so i decided to use this as a bit of practice, i hope that’s okay :) {sidenote, while writing parts of this i listened to hold my girl by george ezra and i recommend you do too; i also am currently reading rise of kyoshi and i HIGHLY recommend}
•••••••
Winter in Republic City wasn’t nearly as grueling as those of the North and South Poles, but it certainly wasn’t fun either. Lucky for you, your workplace wasn’t far from your apartment on the outskirts of the city, so the trek through the few inches of snow wasn’t horrible; mostly because it also wasn’t snowing, which was an anomaly at five o’clock on such a cold and gloomy day.
A hot shower practically called your name. What you expected from the rest of the day? A good mover with plenty of blankets involved, a call to your darling boyfriend, and hitting the hay no later than 10.
What you didn’t expect when you walked out of the bathroom post-shower was aforementioned boyfriend waiting for you, leaning up against your kitchen counter.
“Bo! What are you doing here!” You walked towards him, taking in his distinct scent; fresh allspice, smoke from the streets, distinct earthiness that could only be Bolin. He swept you up in his arms, and as always, you felt safe being enveloped by him. The softness of his undershirt pressed up against your cheek exuded the definition of the word ‘home’. One gentle, calloused hand ran through your damp hair, another edging under your shirt, a strong arm pressed up firmly against the skin of your back.
“I came to see my favorite person!” He not so slyly led you over to the couch, pulling away from the hug and taking your hand in his; so gently, sometime you thought that he thought he’d break you. It was sweet; he was sweet in every sense of the word. You had never met a person who had treated you like you meant so much.
“But... It’s so cold out, sweetheart.” His cheeks turned red when he heard his favorite pet name. Well, he would never say out loud that he loved it when you called him sweetheart or honey, but he always got so flustered that it was hard to hide. That’s just how Bolin is, you thought, as he pulled you back onto the couch with him and into his lap. That boy wore his heart on his sleeve and it was one of your favorite things about him. He wasn’t afraid to tell you that he loved you, that he wanted you safe and he never tried to hide whether he was sad or angry or any other emotion.
“Agh- noooo, not too cold to see you.” He attempted, in vain, to hide his rosy cheeks from you but you could feel him smile into your hair. It was habitual for the two of you; to curl up on the couch, you cradled on top of him, and his hands roaming, tracing patterns and words into your arm, his grip firm and safe.
It wasn’t too long before his eyelids drooped, he was always ready to doze off peacefully when you were in his arms. Where he knew you were safe and sound, and no one would take you away from him. Usually you would too, and the two of you would wake up an hour later, splayed across your small couch with limbs hanging off.
Instead, you took the opportunity to cherish the sight of him. Handsome could not begin to describe it. He was the most precious man you had the pleasure of knowing. You strained your neck to reach up and lay a kiss on his jaw, and that would have been it on a normal day, but instead you kept going, laying soft kisses all over the side of his face and his neck, so soft.
His breathing sped up and his eyes fluttered open, and he let out a little laugh. “(Y/N), s-stop it, lovey,” But his giggles betrayed him. He lowered his face and turned it towards you, expecting a real kiss, but instead you landed one right on his button nose and pulled away, staring into his eyes. “Don’t make me do it.” He smiled and squinted at you, pulling your body closer to his (if that was possible).
“Hmmmm?” Your lips pressed shut and you turned your nose up at him, holding in your own laugh. His hand reached up to your face, engulfing your cheek and slowly moving to the back of your neck.
“Kiss me, for real,” He finally said after a few seconds of silence, “please.” He let off his statement with that adorable, feigned-shy smile of his, and even if you hadn’t been looking at him, you’d be able to envision the puppy dog eyes.
“Un-huh.” You shook your head, a loud laugh stuck in your throat. At that, he put his hands on both sides of your head, letting your body slide off of him, and kissed you; on the cheek, on the nose, the spot between your eyebrows, your closed eyelids, next to your ear and every other spot that he knew would tease you to no end. You willingly let the laughs erupt off of you, feeling Bolin’s warm breath on your skin and his eyelashes brushing up against different parts of your face. Being with him, being near him, so close and so sure, was the most blissful thing you could imagine.
You couldn’t say it out loud, not yet, but you wanted to yell it from the tallest roof in Republic City- I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Bolin, just you. But for now, you both felt it and that was all that mattered.
You tried, you really did, to catch him in a kiss, the one he had so nicely asked for minutes ago. “Now you want a kiss?” You nodded with a little too much vigor. “Really? Are you sure?” He asked again, knowing it was killing you.
“Oh, c’mere.” You finally caught him, and let your lips brush over his ever-so-soft ones. You rubbed your nose against his, closing your eyes and breathing all of him in. He kissed you firmly, and you both smiled into it, teeth clashing into eachother, crinkled noses.
It was enough. Bolin was more than enough.

Hey random question lol
I'm watching glee with my mom and for some reason she likes me to spoil her everything so I just tell her little things like: Blaine will do this or someone special will appear, and she tries to guess but I tell her not to, because I don't know how she always guesses, and I can't lie to her cause I start laughing... Anyway, the latest is she guessed the most unexpected plot twist for us Klaine shippers: Blaine dating Karofsky, I just told her: Blaine will date someone just ew (I like Dave but not the couple), so my mom goes, oh is it that guy that bullied Kurt? So to stop me from laughing I instead told her it would be with Sebastian 😂, and that Blaine would never do something like that to Kurt, I still want it to be a surprise for her, my question is, how does she guess everything? Are the plots that obvious for adults? Or is just her or what
The first time that you watched did you also knew what was gonna happen sometimes?
Or does my mom just sees the future lol
Sometimes I don't even tell her clues and she just plain guesses the next scene while we're watching lol
So. I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan - as in the author who wrote a ton of murder mysteries during the first half of the 20th Century. When I went to see Knives Out with my brother in the theater about a quarter of the way in I leaned into my brother and said: "Person X is the murderer". And I was right. Why? Because Knives Out stylized itself after old Agatha Christie stories. And once you understand the pattern and structure, it's somewhat easy to spot where the story is going to go. (As an aside - I still enjoyed Knives Out, just because you understand the story doesn't make it less enjoyable.)
The older you get and the more you take in various kinds of media, the more acclimated you get to the story telling process. Glee relies on a lot of old story telling techniques and as wacky as it gets sometimes, doesn't stray too far from traditional story telling methods. So, it's not so hard to figure out where the story is going to go.
You let your mom know that Blaine's going to date someone 'ew' - and your mom, probably knowing you and how you react things, could probably suss out that you were talking about an established character. Since there are very few gay male characters who actively make you feel 'ew' she probably had a very good idea from context you gave her about whom you were talking about.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) your mom isn't psychic - she just understands between Glee's story telling style and understanding you as her kid could probably piece together using context clues who Blaine was going to date.
But also yes - Glee's 'plot twists' aren't exactly novel or original. (And that's fine, btw!) And if she's familiar with musicals in any capacity, or with sitcoms and teen soaps, she probably has a good understanding of where the story is going to go.
Also, to answer you question about if I knew in advance, I was very heavily spoiled the last few years of the show. (I wouldn't recommend that - it made me an anxious mess, and all the speculating was kind of a worthless time suck.) So, I knew relatively early in the hiatus between season 5 and 6 Karofsky was going to be dating Blaine. We also spent a lot of time debating (especially at the end of season 5) if Klaine was going to break up again.
I knew from the Season 4 finale it'd be a very real possibility when the Jan told them that she and Liz had broken up twice and got back together twice that that would probably be the direction they were taking the Klaine story. Glee liked to foreshadow things like that a lot.
One memory I have pretty vividly on this topic was during Season 2. I remember watching Silly Love Songs for the first time, and when Kurt and Blaine were bantering about When Harry Met Sally and being Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal - I said to myself 'oh yeah, Blaine's definitely sticking around to be Kurt's love interest'. It's the nature of storytelling to bake in little clues like that to set up where the story is going to go.
I hope you're having fun watching with your mom! I did that a few years ago, and it was a riot.

do you think you could give some tips on worldbuilding? your worldbuilding is really thorough, and i'd love to get some worldbuilding done, but i dont have any idea where to start. just a quick runthrough of how you do it would be great. Thanks!
Alright, thank you so much for the ask! This… Is Hard to Make Concise, because I don’t follow a set pattern apart from starting Big and going to Small. Fill the big parts of your world before your small parts. I’ll try to make it clearer with the next few paragraphs, but the tl:dr, always start with the big picture, go into niches later. I’ll go into ecology and culture and hopefully, it won’t be too much of a mess.
Ecology: The Natural Systems of the World
Ecology is FUN. There’s so much in the natural world you can draw inspiration from. Before starting this, I’m gonna preface this by saying I am not the best at biology and usually pull it out of my butt.
Whenever I’m worldbuilding, I always start with the biological world and the start of any world is geography and I try to answer these questions:
Geography:
What are the defining features of the landscape?
Where are the mountains?
What does the coast look like? (Maps are sweet for this part.)
What’s the water table like? Are there glaciers?
What biome is in that location? (Eg. Temperate Forest, Taiga, Rainforest, Tundra. Fun fact: the largest biome in the world is the sea floor.) This’ll help you define plant life, and plant life helps determine what animal species there are. Plants are important, y’all.
Biology:
What do the plants look like?
What are your specialists? Your hypercarnivores and giant herbivores shape the world around them a lot. These are your theropods, hyenadonts, elephants, whales and sharks?
.What are your generalists? Think hell pigs, beardogs and well, modern bears. Generalists have a better chance of surviving catastrophes. The mammals, reptiles and birds that survived the end Cretaceous Extinction were small and unspecialized.
Good things for ecology learning: PBS EONS, DND MAPS, BLUE PLANET I and II
Culture: The humanoid systems of the world.
To get this out of the way first: Culture is a system of collective fictions that a group believes in. Money, religion, art, they have no value beyond what humans, elves and dwarves ascribe to them. So, keeping this definition in mind, let’s do some more worldbuilding.
When I worldbuild, I don’t answer questions like I do for ecology, instead, I try to fill out the big five that almost every society, big or small, has.
Knife: This is a weapon, a tool for everything from hunting, to cooking. What does their knife look like? Is it chipped stone or animal bone? Is it bronze or steel?
Bread: Bread really is just grains and water mushed together and cooked. Is it made from big grains or fine flours? Is it sourdough or unleavened? How is it cooked? (Make a bread recipe for your world.
Art: What does their visual art look like? Is it painted, statues? Is it as simple as a handprint on a wall? What sort of music do they listen to? What do their instruments look like? Religion, stories and art often go hand in hand.
Records: Where there’s records, there’s usually an economy, a set of rules. So who sets these rules? Is it an oral tradition or are there physical imprints of it? Cultures without writing usually have an oral tradition. (This is where history is kept, so brief bit: What events/people/cool bit of shiny metal do they see as important?)
Bones: Do they have doctors? Do they bring the infirmed with them? Are the dead buried with any ceremony? How are children treated? The elderly?
Economics:
Despite how the highs and lows of capitalism may make you feel, economics are important. I have these questions I like to have answered with economics:
Are they a barter system or no?
If yes:
What is the equivalency? If someone gives you a chicken, do you fix their shoes?
If no:
What does the currency look like?
What are your cultures' imports and exports, if they have any? (People can be included in this, BTW.)
(Read the Ascent of Money by Niel Furgeson)
Now to tackle the biggest part of a lot of cultures; religion. Religion is… Complicated to say the least. I recommend reading the Reason for God to help with this. When worldbuilding religion, start big and go small. Remember, religions are highly connected to the world around them, for example, the cyclic mythology of Ancient Egypt.
Are they poly or monotheistic?
What values do they ascribe to the gods? Are they caring parents? Apathetic watchers? Vengeful warriors? Horny fuckers with no regard for the wellbeing of the people they’re supposed to be caring for?
Interesting thing I noticed while reading: Goddesses are more likely to where the heart of the values people believe are to be ascribed, which I thought was neat. E.g, in Greek Mythology, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and the male gods all have these big, undefinable, inhuman realms, like the sky, and the sea and the underworld. In stark contrast, with the exception of Aphrodite, the goddesses have smaller, more human roles. Marriage, the harvest, wisdom, the hunt, the hearth.
Of course, that’s only a thing I’ve noticed in the very few mythologies I’ve got any semblance of knowledge on. This could be completely untrue and I could be talking out of my ass, which happens sometimes.
If they’re polythestic, which gods hold what roles? Which is the god that everyone worships as the most important? (Zeus, Aphrodite, Ra, etc) aka, who’s the boss?
Are there cults?
Resources for religion and culture:
Sapiens
Guns, Germs and Steel
Collapse
Finally, every society should have:
A food source: Agriculture or hunter gatherer? Do they store food for winter?
A water source: Are there wells? Do they irrigate crops?
A way to deal with waste, including, but not limited to: food waste, fecal matter, material waste.
A way to defend itself against disease, invasion or internal disarray.
Tl:dr Read and watch a lot of nonfiction. Start big and go to smaller stuff later. Everything society is built on is a fiction.

Since I’ve been slacking off with the Fnaf headcanon series for quite some time now, with no good reason, have some AR skins and event character headcanons
Shamrock Freddy
Tumblr media
Like Frostbear and Firework Freddy,he’s a Freddy made specifically for the holidays. St. Patrick day to be exact
Has a Irish ascent to go with his holiday theme
Similar to Rockstar Freddy, he desires Faz-coin to a unhealthy degree
Enjoys talking about St. Patrick day traditions and folklore.
Is pretty self-centered
Usually picks on Frostbear for no good reason
All the other animatronics who take part in the Fazbear Funtime Service either are indifferent to him like Chica or 8 Bit Baby. While others like regular Freddy and Bonnie hate him for just being a overall jerk
In some instances when the animatronics are being shipped together in trucks for customers, a Shamrock Freddy always seems to cause some sort of commotion that usually leaves everyone in mangled animatronic parts by the end
The company was actually considering removing him off from the service completely given all the problem he caused
But considering that he makes for great revenue during the St. Patrick day season, they just left him alone for the other animatronics to deal with.
Firework Freddy
Tumblr media
Aside from Chica with her cupcake, he’s the only one who comes with a accessory.
Has lots of nicknames, but the most common ones are Firework and just Summer Freddy
All the other animatronics find his firework very cool
Springtrap however does not becuase anything that goes boom gives him flashbacks to when the springlocks snappped back in the saferoom all those years ago...
Is a expert on cooking with a barbecue
Has a lot of knowledge on sport related stuff from all over the world
Hates the cold
However he doesn’t hate Frostbear and feels bad for him becuase of Shamrock Freddy’s constant bullying
Has a lot of extras clothes and extra accessories that correspond with the traditions of the customer(s) that ordered a vist from him
For instance, he may be all decked out for 4th of July one year, and the next you’ll see a bear ready for the beach and so fourth.
Constantly switching his attire for each visit does get a little annoying, but for him, making people happy in the end makes it worth all the hassle.
VR Toy Freddy
Tumblr media
Is a completely different entity than regular Toy Freddy
Is the textbook definition of absolute gamer chad
Playing video games takes first priority for him
Recently he’s been playing the newest instalment in the fnamh’s (Five Nights At Mr Hug’s) series
He’s quite clumsy and bumps into other animatronics or common house things likes selves on a daily basis
But on the rare chance he’s not using his headset he’s usually making absurd theorys on what’s going on with the lore in the new Vr game
His main theory is that that this new strange crate looking character escaped from dumper purgatory from the previous game in the series and placed themselves into the in universe VR game.
Shamrock Freddy question why he’s still invested in that series though. As he states, the original trilogy is the best and that it all went downhill once that weird gumball machine used paper plates as a skin suit.
Whenever He or anyone else for that matter says something along the lines of that, VR Toy Freddy always goes into essay long arguments for why he’s wrong. He’s very quick to defend his favourite franchise
Jokes that he’s The Man Behind The Slaugher unironically even when the meme has died ( *In this universe the man behind the slaughter meme exists because of the Fnaf 1 news paper clippings, along with the fact that Springtrap is a well known entity thanks to HW, and the Fazbear Funtime service.*
Chocolate Bonnie
Tumblr media
Nicknames are Choco Bonnie, and unfortunately as immature as it, Poop Bonnie
He’s made of real actual chocolate
Once somebody’s dog took a big bite out of his bottom right stomach area that simply couldn’t be repaired. The dog took 87 bites out of him btw
That’s why every single copy of the Chocolate Bonnie model scanned in after that day has that big and distracting hole
His three button and botie are mint candy flavoured
Real Easter eggs are hidden inside his stomach cavity and are placed near his endo parts
Though he’s more appropriate for Easter time, sometime he’s advertised for the Halloween season for that trick or treat goodness
Similar to Bon-Bon and Funtime Freddy , Easter and Chocolate Bonnie are a two in one package.
Given the surprising popularity of the Funtime Service, (*in universe*) a merch store has being set up to only spread word of their brand but to bring these beloved characters in the pop culture consensus again, and Chocolate Bonnie gets a bunch of merch
Whether it be a coffee mug,a shirt, or the type of chocolate bunny you’ll see in those craft stores, Cholocate Bonnie has it all.
Easter Bonnie
Tumblr media
Is very dramatic and has a showman like personality. (Similar to Funtime Foxy in UCN)
His Easter egg pattern on his stomach area is actually drawn with crayons and the circles are get plain circle shaped stickers you would find at the your local dollar store. Goes to show that the Fazbear Funtime Service sticks to the roots of Fazbear Entertainment, being really cheep
How Easter and Chocolate Bonnie entertain customers is that Easter Bonnie usually has a “dramatic” retelling of the Easter bunny fairytale while Chocolate Bonnie’s the food, customers can eat while enjoying the play
He’s quite athletic
The “Happy Easter” tag on the top of his ear isn’t actually a intentional design choice
Easter Bonnie just stole it from a random candy store nearby
Some confuse him as a winter themed Bonnie covered in snow due to his mainly white colour palette. Considering that Freddy Frostbear’s a thing that isn’t that much of a stretch
Can perfectly imitate any of the other animatronic’s voices. It honestly shocks animatronics like Springtrap or Foxy with how well Easter Bonnie can capture this respective accents to a tee
He prefers to hop like a actual bunny than walking normally
Loves decorating Easter eggs.
Toxic Springtrap
Tumblr media
All that purple goo is actually just fungi infected with some of that classic remnant
Due to his frightening nature he’s only available during Halloween time
However despite his looks he’s actually quite kind at heart. Much more than regular Springtrap that’s for sure
Is actually scared of the dark
He likes playing chess
Doesn’t like the fact that he’s advertised as something to be feared
Usually hangs around with 8-Bit Baby the most and the two usually play board games all day
Although like everyone else he feels some sort of discomfort whenever he’s shocked, the pain is really minor for him compared to other animatronics
Given that he’s only desired during the month of spooks, for the rest of the year, he’s left alone at the factory where all the animatronics are constructed and duplicated in the first place
Due to this he’s got a pleta of abandonment isssues
System Error Toy Bonnie
Tumblr media
His head, body and limbs can be detached and put back together very easily
That’s how he entertains customers in fact. He’s basically a animatronic sized construction set, similar to Mangle
Their eyes glow bright orange in darkness
Is able to phaze through physical objects
Due to some people complaining about regular Toy Bonnie’s voicebox, the team chose to implant stock computer sound effects into System Error Toy Bonnie’s voicebox rather than actual dialogue.
Knows your WiFi password
Is taller than regular Toy Bonnie
The system error phrase near his stomach area gets brighter amd brighter whenever his costume shell is damaged
Static electricity flows through him from time to time. So it recommend that whenever a customer should wear gloves and other appropriate safety equipment when interacting with the animatronic
Balloon Boy always tries to get the static electricity balloon trick to work, but it never seems to work. System Error Toy Bonnie could really care less about this ordeal though
Highscore Toy Chica
Tumblr media
Loves playing video games
But unlike Vr Toy Freddy, Her life doesn’t focus on it 24/7
She likes playing a variety of games too. virtual games, handheld games, games on consoles, board games, etc
Is very supportive
Knows what emojis are
Considering that she’s meant to be hip with the kids, she knows a lot about current gaming and fandom culture in general
Is a pretty good speed runner when it comes to video games
Although it doesn’t happen often she can get quite serious when it comes to gaming. You can tell when she’s just playing for fun or not if her endoskeleton eyes and grey are exposed
is indifferent to the term “Gamer Girl”
Hates games where you can’t skip the cutscenes
Radioactive Foxy
Tumblr media
A random model of Foxy accidentally found his way into a power plant and eventually got covered in radioactive goo
The higher ups working for the Fazbear Funtime service thought that it would be a shame to throw out a perfectly good plush suit and endo. So after some strange testing involving remnant they just rebranded this as a completely new skin.
Green radioactive material drips over his body all all times
His hook is twice as big as regular Foxy’s. Probably due to the combination of experimenting with both remnant and toxic radioactive goo
Has no eyebrows due to the constant radioactive energy
Thanks to Radioactive Foxy’s transparent look, this was the first time any of the customers got a real good look on the inerworkings on how a endo properly fits into a plush suit.
Is on the hunt for and wants to consume more radioactive energy
Can transform into a more liquid based form
He’s slower than regular foxy but sill runs at a moderately fast pace
One of the more aggressive animatronics in the service alongside the likes of regular Springtrap and Frostbear
8-Bit Baby
Tumblr media
Similar to Highscore Toy Chica, she’s meant to be marketed to the gaming crowd.
Specifically those who enjoy old school videogames
Can despense real cupcakes for eating pleasure
Has a extra sprinkler perfect for ice cream decorating
Her fan operates correctly and henceforth can be used for cooling or drying needs
Her microphone is preprogrammed with chiptune styled music
Has become many people’s favourite animatronic and has been in high demand ever since they were first brought to the service due to their uniqueness
Moves at a snail’s pace
Loves playing board games with Toxic Springtrap.
Regualr Circus Baby finds her 8 bit version adorable

♛ - Alchemic-elric
Send me a url and I'll tell you the following:
@alchemic-elric
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🔮 my opinion on;
character in general: Oh boi~ Ed is one of the most unique characters I've had the pleasure of getting to know. I enjoy the series he is from a whole lot - hell I just got the manga - and watched most of the animation available, aside from one of the movies. Edward Elric hits the comedy and badassery vibes splendidly. I also like how his personality isn't the stereotypical quiet "genius kid" - he is a whole explosive barrel of surprises with compelling character flaws. His color pallete is satisfying (because that plays a big role for me) and represents him very well. Ed is definitely up there among the chars I'd love to meet IRL, lol. He's a presence that inspires due respect, seeing as he had endured so much so early and even as a young teenager he's kicking ass left and right and is more capable than most adults - while still retaining flaws you would expect from a kid, helping to cast him in a more relatable light, even if it is hard to relate to the kid prodigy aspect itself. I love to see his growth throughout the series, as he makes his way through all the obstacles and trials life throws at him and his brother. ^^
how they play them: Kira plays Ed amazingly. For me, FMA is a fandom I follow on the side among other things, but I started chatting to the mun and followed, and started to read some of the stuff they write on the blog and I have to say? Honestly, when I think of Ed I think of yours. His speech patterns, (also, Ed is finally allowed to say the fuck word cuz it ain't monetized media lmao) his emotional complexity (researched so well btw), all the little tidbits that make sense in a canon perspective, like the explained workings of the automail, how it affects him and how he maintains it, the love of cooking much like the love of alchemy, gosh there's just so much, so much love poured into this muse, I know he's a huge part of your life and it shows. I know how it feels to have a fandom/character you are so passionate about, for me its obvs FFU and also God Eater but you're making me delve deeper into FMA again and appreciate it with this enhanced perspective now, which comes from hanging around your blog. As I said, your Ed now lives rent free in my head and that's what I see when I look at canon Ed now, lol. And that means YOU DID A DAMN GOOD JOB WOOOOO!
the mun: You're awesome, how tf do you write so much?? So many threads?? So many people! Ahh! Hahah, teach me. (jk on the teach part obvs - I'm just gushing about the amount of writing energy haha) Chatting to you is always fun, I love to see how excited you are about the fandom and your boi. I learned of you through Kumo and became interested in your main, which was a good choice to make and I get to enjoy writing scenarios from time to time and seeing this alchemy boi react. >:)) Also whenever Cloudy shows up and starts arguing with Windy I laugh out loud. I appreciate you throwing him at me sometimes, despite being involved in so. MUCH. STUFF. already like holy shit! XD I admire that. Both the boundless creativity and still interacting with followers unrelated to your main fandom. So much nice all around. Ty for being a fun part of the dash as always ;)
🔮 do i;
follow them: Yes!
rp with them: Not this blog
want to rp with them: Depends - I am always open but fandoms may not mesh too well. Characters may or may not. All in all am open to try but I'm perfectly good interacting OOC and with asks ^^
ship their character with mine: obviously not
🔮 what is my;
overall opinion: Very positive! I highly recommend @alchemic-elric to all my followers who'd like to look into the FMA fandom! :D

hi! i've always loved your hnk panel redraws and recently i've been so inspired by them that i've tried my hand at coloring some panels too! if you don't mind me asking, do you have any tips?
oh i certainly do! some of these are a bit generic/art related but they’re definitely useful in this case too. I’m adding a read more because unfortunately it got a bit long but here you go:
1) Get to know your tools!
Since you weren’t very specific, I’ll assume you aren’t too familiar with art softwares (and if you are, you can just skip that part it’s not That deep). I’ll start with the basics; I know this is obvious, but please bear with me, because understanding how your program works WILL make you a lot more efficient. Here are quick descriptions of some features I think are very useful - I use Clip Studio Paint, but I believe most programs have equivalents. If you don’t know them, please experiment with them, they’ll come in handy!
- Locking transparency :
Locking the transparency of a layer means only the parts where something is already drawn can be modified. Basically, you can recolour something that already exists in a rather precise way.
Tumblr media
This is very useful for gradients, which I’ll talk about a bit later.
- Clipping layers :
This gives the same result as locking a layer then drawing over it, but the difference is that you use more than 1 layer ; one as the bottom layer, defining the part of the canvas you can draw on, and the others, clipped on top, where you’ll draw. This can be more practical than locking transparency, because if you have a lot of details to add, doing everything on a single layer may make things more difficult.
Tumblr media
I use this a lot when I shade, but just like gradients, I’ll bring that up later.
- Layer settings :
Tumblr media
These options change the way the colours on a layer blend with the colours below. As an example, addglow is pretty good for colouring very bright light sources or for adding highlights on gems  :
Tumblr media
Basically, using those isn’t a necessity, but they’re still pretty useful so I’d recommend experimenting with them whenever you feel like it!
- Magic Wand :
Tumblr media
Not the most complicated to use, but damn it’s really useful. It allows you to make selections based on the colours you’re targeting, so basically, if you need to colour an entire area a certain colour, you can just select it from the original panel, go on the layer where you’re colouring, and colour nothing but the part you selected. That’s about it!
There are lots of others, but these are the main ones you need to know about when you’re getting started.
2) Colouring stuff
This is where it gets interesting! I guess! I’m not too good at just coming up with these kind of tips, so I’ll illustrate with some colouring, hopefully it’ll help you out?
I usually colour in 5 parts : 1) Preparing the panel(s), 2) Applying flat colours, 3) Adding gradients, 4) Adding shading, 5) Finalising with details.
I always prepare pages in the same way: first, I use the magic wand to select everything i do NOT want to colour ; the frames around the panels, the speech bubbles, the sfx, etc. Once they’re selected, I copy them, and paste them on a new layer. Then, I select the original layer, and turn it transparent so I can colour below while still keeping the lines. To do that, I go in Menu > Edit > Change brightness to opacity (in CSP at least, it depends on your program tho but most of them support this, I think!).
I end up with something like this :
Tumblr media
Two layers, one on the bottom with the semi-transparent page, and another on top, with everything that I don’t plan on touching. On the page on the right, you can get an idea of what it looks like when you add a layer below these 2 and draw on it.
Now that I’m done with the panel, I can start adding some (flat) colours.
I think it’s a good idea to start with the background, because it’ll help you figure out the feeling you want to give the panel.
Tumblr media
The airbrush is a pretty good tool for gradients btw, just make sure you use a brush that is big enough so the transition in colours looks natural.
Next, I add a new layer, and colour the shape of the characters (and here the vessel as well), so it stands out from the background. It’ll make colouring less complicated, since the lines will be clearer.
Tumblr media
As you can see, I was kind of confident, so I directly added a gradient. The bottom of the panel is a bit “darker”, because I wanted the main light source to be the reflect on Phos’….. head thing?
Here’s something kind of important about your choice of colours : if you’re colouring an area that is already shaded in the original panel, I would recommend taking a colour that is more saturated than it should, or else the colour may end up looking dull because the original shading will make it darker.
Next, I do more flat colours. Nothing too fancy, and pretty much everything is on different layers. The clothes are left uncoloured because the background colour already fits, so it’s okay honestly
Tumblr media
Then, I added some gradients using clip layers :
Tumblr media
As a reference, I used some overlay layers for Dia’s hair, and some addglow layers for Phos’ alloy.
I mean it when I say gradients are important! They make your colouring feel more complete even when they’re barely visible. quickly coloured bortz for reference, assuming tumblr won’t compress the colours too much:
Tumblr media
the bastard on the left has nothing but flat colours. They’re nice, but when you’ll have shaded everything, chances are it’ll look kind of …. i dunno, like something is missing? So yeah, gradients : good, though i would recommend you keep them in the same tone as the base colour. I’ll talk about this a bit more later if i don’t forget.
Ok! next:
Tumblr media
I felt like golden colours weren’t quite fitting the mood, so i added a layer with blue on top of it to make it colder. It’s at 40% transparency, so you can still see the colours behind well enough. Some parts were slightly erased because i liked the idea of these parts being lighter (you can see it a little bit around phos’ neck, or above dia’s knees : these parts are yellower than the rest of the pic)
Tumblr media
I added some shading! Nothing too fancy. also not to sound like some gradient-freak but you can add some of those in shading as well, it’s usually a nice touch.
Tumblr media
After than, I added some lightings, which are on a layer clipped on the original manga panel (so basically only the black parts of the original image changed colours, and the colouring work I did on the layers below wasn’t really affected, if that makes sense?)
The red lighting is the obvious one (it’s an airbrush, and i used an eraser to clear the part near Phos’ head so it looks like it’s coming from above/behind them and not from themself).
There is another lighting at the bottom, which is grey/blueish, to contrast with the warm colours on the top of the pic. it also kind of looks like smoke but yeah
Now the panel is mostly done, and I’m starting the “details” part.
Something I find really bothersome in the manga is the *original* shading : while it’s always really good, colouring under it will leave some grid of pixels on top of your colours, so to counter that i just colour on top of the grid by colour picking and painting on a layer above the manga layer.
Tumblr media
It’s a bit tedious but it has a texture that makes it look like a painting. The downside is that the colours can be altered since you’re colourpicking from something with an irregular pattern, but it can end up making your panel look less boring, honestly, it just depends on what you’re aiming for!
I end up with something like that :
Tumblr media
And then it’s just. Whatever man. I added a black border and some highlights, sparkles, etc, it’s the kind of things you do when you’re basically done.
For the technical aspect, I’m not sure I have a lot more to add. If you want some advices for picking colours, tho…
3) General colour stuff :
These are just recommendations! Licherally these are mental notes i came up with ever since i’ve started colouring, so they’re kind of personal and if you don’t follow them you’ll be fine, i suppose. But so far they’ve been useful to me so consider them whenever you’ll be colouring something:
- Do not use pure white! Unless it’s for something CLEARLY meant to stand out, such as the frame of your pages, a speech bubble, sparkles, or a light source/something very shiny. If you’re just colouring something that is not meant to draw attention, use some other shade of white, but not the  #ffffff one if you see what i mean?
- Same about pure black, to be honest.
Tumblr media
The shades circled in red tend to look “emptier” than the ones circled in green (here the hue of the colour is yellow but it works with most colours). It doesn’t mean you can’t use it, just, use it sparingly or it may make things look dull I think? I would recommend trying a few shades before taking a decision.
- Sometimes adding highlights where the shading starts can make the transition look smoother:
Tumblr media
- Even if a panel is already shaded in the original page, I would recommend shading it again, because the manga shading is a black shading and shading a coloured drawing with black usually doesn’t look that good. (hence why i said something about using saturated colours in shading earlier).
Tumblr media
- Even if a panel isn’t shaded in the original page, consider shading it anyways, even if it’s just a very light shading. It’s worth it :o)
Tumblr media
I’m running out of things to say oh well
