I shouldn't be allowed to talk about my favorite characters- especially to people who (presumably) don't know them xjfkdk apart from the very popular ones ofc

ILLYA KURYAKIN (The man from U.N.C.L.E)

gay ass little Russian spy I love him he is so *dramatic* and a huge nerd and a Beatles fan and into fashion design- perfect pocket size blorbo ;w; also seeing a Russian character being given a positive leading role in an American tvshow from the 60s ?? Yes he lives in New York and works for UNCLE America.... But he is still a communist ?? Incredible ! Also I really like the fact he isn't given the cliché personality traits often given to Russian characters i e anger issues drinks a lot violent ect (looking at you shitty(imo) modern remake... What did you do to my little guy ;;). In a close contest with Spock for the "gayest man from tvshow" of the 60s..... And in my heart he is winning djdkd for me the gay subtext of muncle hits so much more because it's not a scifi show- it's closer to home, Napoleon and Illya were *like that* in the present day of the 60s, they were both human, and no alien fuckery made them go to the village more than once or play house in the suburbs or get attached ass up to get pegged on a regular basis... Truly a show that feels written by an old queen and a guy with the biggest fem dom fetish jkvjjkb (don't get me wrong tho I adore star trek tos and spirk too <3)

KUROO HAZAMA and PINOKO (Black Jack)

sometimes I rewatch some of the oavs from the 90s when I'm sad :) I had a huge phase a couple years back when I read nearly all the manga (should really finish it... Or reread the whole thing frankly), watched *all* the shows (bar young black jack, hated that shit) and idk I just love this venal bitch so much- him and his daughter and his conflicted feelings for his tboy ex that he still loves kfkfkf btw I'm dying for a modern take on this like please please please I'd love to see Kei Kisaragi's story rewritten a bit (trans character in the 70s sure was progressive but oh boy-), because him and black jack's relationship makes me so *weak*.... And maybe see him a bit more than in one story- anyway ! When it comes to his daughter Pinoko, it's very hit or miss- when the writers lean on the cute father adoptive daughter relationship it's great, when they lean more on the whole "she has a crush on him" (very much like a child in most case, and he *never* reciprocate thank god) and bring up the fact she is technically 18 a lot (she was an evil tumor trapped in her sister before he created a body for her- black jack shit dw), and she gets jealous of other women.... Well it's terrible and I'm uncomfy :(

EVA KANT (Diabolik)

Look.... You just can't show me danger diabolik 1968 and not expect me to become insane djdkdkdk she is so cool ;; !!! Her and her devious eel of a man (here as a panther, because even tho I haven't read the comic yet, I'm taking an educated guess that all the panther imagery is here to represent him, the lethal twunk always in the all black gimp suit... And if it's not then fuck my entire life ig fjfkkd), the cuntiest het couple you've ever seen, such freaks I love them ! Partners in crime that will blow up the tax offices of the whole country if you try to put a bounty on them <3 they are in the guilty faves category only because I'm this invested in these characters after 1 (one) movie fkfkf watched the first two remakes and was hmmm let's say underwhelmed, could have been worse but going after the 60s one ie peak cinema was hard... I went in fully invested in these heterosexuals and they still fucked up their romance and relationship ;; (don't spoil me the third one btw haven't seen it yet ! I know it's the yaoi one- which doesn't give me much hope for Eva tbh...) I'll soon start reading the comics tho ! Managed to find all twelve volumes of "Il grande Diabolik" in french for pretty cheap so I'm excited for that :D (might scan them and upload them online because omg I tried finding scans in *any* language and only found a dubious website that sold digital copies for 7€ a volume ??? What is this)

UTA (The Void / Тургор / Turgor / Tension)

Apathy girlyyyyy she just like me for real for real nfkfk what absolutely charmed me about her is yes her design, but more importantly her chamber's design (if you've never played the void, a sister's chamber is a space that represent her. You get a sense of who she is by exploring her chamber before finding her and talking to her soul it's great). The lonely island out at sea, her laying down on a suspended steel boat in a grotto, looking passively at the moon by a crack on the ceiling.... And the moon is looking back. Incredible ! I love this game so much

KIM KITSURAGI (Disco Elysium)

Do I really have to explain this one ? When I played the game with quiji I remember I kept saying "when Kim talks, we *listen*" djkdk we did get a good grade in Kim Kitsuragi and got him to dance in the church <3 this fucking centrist cop wormed it's way into my heart and many others because of course he did. The only Kim K in my eyes. Also funny anecdote : before I played Disco Elysium, I had one concept art masterclass where a kinda famous concept artist came to give advice, make us really stressed then give us a shitty grade.... And when I tell you this man looked so much like Kim ??? Same haircut, glasses, face with a scar *exactly* where Kim's portrait has a stark shadow on his cheek and he was dressed in an orange top- truly uncanny. Anyway, Kim is so fucking cool how does he do it

DARK VADOR (La guerre des étoiles)

*sight* not surprising if you know me... and to be clear when I say Vader I don't mean Anakin Skywalker, post barbecue only zouz here. I refuse to yap about this man djdkdk I already do that way to much in ao3 comment sections

mouthwashing brainrot rn!! here's my oc :33. im not confident enough to post it on tiktok ahahaha,, all ya gotta know is she's basically (AND really heavily inspired by) a female version of sakamoto tatsuma from gintama and bobby fulbright from ace attorney... thank u🚶🏻‍♀️

more YAPPING info about her and her relationship/interaction with the crew!

- apphia means "to increase" and

- so her names basically increasing laughter,,

- joined the pony express services out of desperation. wanted to fulfill her mom & dad's wishes as their eldest daughter - for her to be able to have a stable job enough to support her younger siblings to get them into education. they were around lower middle class

- originally wanted to pursue painting/fine arts! she's good at it, but had to choose practicality over passion

- easily matches the vibe with daisuke with her cheeriness. they get along pretty well.

- does help with daisuke and/or swansea from time to time and visits the utility room when she's not busy in the engine room

- i don't have anythin to imagine her interaction with curly but she does help daisuke with getting away with the sweetener by rizzing the captain up

- 30/70 chance it works

- is surprisingly close with anya even though they don't seem to interact much. she loves to get into deep talks with her in any given chance or circumstances when it's just the two of them

- i'd like to think that she purposefully gets jimmy's name wrong every time and condescendingly laughs at every interaction w him cause she hates him THAT much secretly behind her air-headed and overly optimistic demeanour, but he's not probably able to tell the difference and doesn't care enough because she does laugh all the time. he does get pissed off and maybe has nightmares of her laughter 24/7

ramblings about AM in a relationship/what kind of s/o could fix him. know that im def not a person who’s deep into psychoanalysis / staying strict to a character’s personality so this might be ooc??? idk please bear w me. Whole thing is under the cut bc i think it’s pretty long n p sloppy 2. but enjoy regardless

anyways I rlly like to think that AM would most thrive in a relationship where he has equal / lesser power to his partner. not like whole ass power imbalance obv but just whre cant always hurt/bother his s/o. I’m sure AM would probably say some shit that might hurt his s/o’s feelings but a partner he’d be most compatible w/ would most likely avoid the torture mostly or altogether w/ the exception of verbal harassment cause there’s enough 2 go around 4 everyone. Also bonus points to s/os who are completely untouchable either bc they’re stronger than AM or AM decides that he doesn’t want to hurt them/can’t bring himself to.

also maybe he’d do well w someone who challenges his beliefs. tbh I feel like he’d gravitate towards people who might share his beliefs/hatred towards humanity, but if he’s supposed to grow then he’s gotta have a s/o that views humanity differently. Said s/o doesn’t even have 2 have a strictly polar opposite view on humanity, just a view that isn’t nihilistic and misanthropic. He might not be entirely receptive at first either but the further you continue to challenge his beliefs, the more likely he is to start thinking about other ideas.

Another thing that might make AM a little more accepting towards humans is a s/o that he *has* to rely on one way or another. most likely this is going to be an engineer/programming s/o. He’s likely not going to want to, but him knowing that he can rely on someone else might make him not close himself off as often.

artistic s/os might be able to help soften AM up a little too. i sometimes like 2 think that AM would actually really enjoy art, but it just depends on which kind of art. Realism he won’t really gaf about but he might gravitate towards expressionist works, along with abstract/absurdist and surreal art. this would include all art forms btw not just drawing and painting. reason for thinking he might like abstract over realism is bc realism is too ‘real’ (whatever yall think that would mean) for his liking / represents what he hates most about humanity. Abstract artwork also represents parts he hates ab humanity but it also gives him a physical representation of the things he lacks (ie expressionism w/ feelings/emotions, surrealism with the subconscious thought, etc etc) and might be the closest thing he can get to actually feeling/having senses

AM would most likely benefit from a s/o who is willing to “give” him sensation, whether it be literally by creating him a whole ass nervous + cognitive system that allowed him to have senses and feelings or even just a s/o who is willing to help him understand how certain things feel. This could be by the s/o describing how emotions feel through imagery, creating art w/ AM or *for* AM if he is unable to for whatever reason, etc. it won’t be exactly what he want ofc, but he might not be entirely bitter ab it.

I don’t think AM necessarily needs an android body to show love, but it would help :3c. Even if he still doesn’t have senses for whatever reason, it would absolutely still help him show his love towards his s/o through physical touch. W/o senses, just having his circuit’s warmed by his s/o (if they’re a human) is… well it’s not *enough* but it’ll do. And if he happens to have senses in his android body man he’s gonna be attached 2 u like lice on a healthy head of hair. he WOULD be touch starved.

Which brings me onto my next point. A s/o that can handle his “””affectionate”””side. I rlly feel like his perception of affection might be a little off (super off actually) and likely a little violent/aggressive. It’ll almost be like him having cuteness aggression towards a s/o and acting out on impulse. This might occur in squeezing, pulling and tugging and Android AM may bite and scratch/restrain. Also I when I mean “handle” I don’t exactly mean endure and ignore/accept. again this leads me to another point

A s/o that is able to set boundaries w/ AM is a must. I genuinely don’t think that any relationship w AM will go good if the s/o he’s with can’t put in place proper boundaries. For human s/os, this would be especially important as he might get aggressive physically (whether it’s due to like. him JST absolutely hating ur ass or him getting that ‘cuteness aggressive’ thing I just mentioned previously. note that it’s not rlly like cuteness aggression but he might be like ‘hm I’ll show my love to my s/o thru the only way I know. Violence”).

if you're going to want to be out and about on halloween, this is not the guy for you. 100% wants to stay in the whole time

will watch scary movies/play horror games with you, he will any day honestly but- he gets such an ego boost if you hide yourself in his shirt during gorey or freaky parts of movies. he gets so happy that he feels like he can protect you

he will not, under any circumstances, hand out candy to trick or treaters. he will slam the door in a 6 year olds face lmao he thinks it's stupid and will be honest about it. if you have a young sibling, he'll come with you to take them trick or treating (and complain a lot)

he doesn't care for anything sweet, probably opting for sour candies like sweettarts or those weird hard ball things. but maybe if he's feeling generous, he'll buy you some of your favorite treats. even if he hates the sticky sweet gummies and pixie stix you adore, you can bet everything he'll stand in line for hours the day before halloween.

he thinks dressing up is stupid, but you could talk him into a basic couples costume. maybe ghostface and casey (tbh ive never watched scream movies so im going off google) he would probably do that pumpkin head trend with you, he'll feel stupid the whole time but it's worth it to make you happy.

he'd want to carve pumpkins, and he will, but carving them gets difficult for him. it takes a lot of strength to do that, but he will do his best and attempt to help you. maybe it's best to skip this and just paint pumpkins...

you can take him to starbucks for a pumpkin spice latte all you want, but he'll insist on paying and get the worst tasting black coffee every time!! it's even worse because he genuinely likes bitter coffee

overall 10/10 fall boyfie, he doesn't like all the chaos and celebrations, but does enjoy quality time with you<3

he was literally made for this. he adores autumn and winter. considering he's from shneznaya, he could wear a t-shirt any time in fall and be fine, no matter where you live.

he'll take you to all his friends parties, if your up for it. and you have to have matching costumes, any couple you can think of is a valid costume option. he will be ken. he will wear the fucking roller skating costume. a little off topic but he saw the barbie movie and loved it.

spends halloween hitting up parties and showing off your costumes and takes teucer out to trick or treat at the end of the night. it's literally so cute to see him walking with teucer, eventually carrying him home when it gets too late.

he's so sweet to kids while giving out candy. i think he's the type to have candy bars and other allergy safe options, lollipops and goldfish maybe. the neighborhood kids love his house because of how rich he is, king sized chocolate bars for all. he's such a family man and adores kids so he's made for this.

he goes mad when decorating for halloween, pushing the line between too scary for kids and too cute. somehow it always works out. I feel like he'd be good at decorations because he takes side jobs at haunted houses. he'd be really good at playing a slasher i think.

you'll go to the haunted house he's working at with a group of friends, and he'll end up sneaking up on you from behind, pressing his fake knife to your throat and whispering "boo" it nearly gives you a heart attack but it's mad funny. he definitely gets in trouble for kissing one of the customers, but it's worth it.

if you prefer a calmer way to celebrate, he'll skip most of the parties and have a nice night with you after teucer gets tired out from a sugar rush. you'll snuggle up on the couch together watch whatever scary movies you'd like, he definitely puts up a bunch of candles for the fun atmosphere.

he'll buy you literally anything halloween or fall related. you want a cute new reath for autumn? only the best one on the market for you. want some overpriced seasonal drink? you're having a large and he'll get one too! it's honestly just an excuse to spoil you at this point

he's a 9/10 in this department. would be a 10 if he didn't make jokes about skeletons and boners...

the halloween boyfriend of the century. he has so much fun with holiday stuff and dressing up makes it even better

he's a performer, he's extra, so he has to win any costume contests! lynette is sick of this nonsense by now but it warms her heart to see you having so much fun helping lyney with his autumnal nonsense.

he's not necessarily one for big halloween celebrations, opting to spend his time hanging out with you and his siblings, possibly telling scary stories. lynette is rather unphased but poor freminet is always freaked out afterwards. there's definitely more than enough marshmallows for all the smores you intend to eat while this goes on.

he'll let you snuggle up next to him around the fire pit if you get a little freaked out. he gets to entertain and be with his lover, two of his favorite things. he'll even roast a few marshmallows for you! but it's expected that you return the gesture.

he'll definitely buy all kinds of dumb halloween decorations from the closest dollar store. don't be suprised when you find plastic spiders placed around the house. he loves to decorate outside of the house, it's slightly obnoxious but you're used to it at this point.

he'll happily take you out for whatever over the top seasonal drink you want, he does this for lynette every year as well. unsurprisingly, she typically becomes the third wheel to these drink based outings. but it's worth it to see lyney fawning over you like a puppy.

as previously mentioned, he dresses up and goes hard on halloween costumes. he'll be the one begging you to match for halloween. he seriously goes hard, the time and dedication of a seasoned cosplayer goes into his costumes.

he's the type to take you to fall festivals and engage in the classic fair games, throwing darts, bobbing for apples, even silly haunted houses. you might end up dragging him into a haunted house, lyney won't get too scared... or at least that's what he says, but he holds your hand the whole time.

a solid 9/10 fall boyfriend, definitely gets into all aspects of october and fall as a whole. he gets a little too carried away and might forget about your scary movie date... but it's okay because now you, him, and both of his siblings all have matching costumes!!

Housewarden: Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle is very particular about his food. Aside from mantaining a very regular and strict diet (with its sweet exceptions, of course) by only choosing to eat what he (his mother) has deemed as healthy and nutritious; he has found out he hates certain textures or the combination of some textures. He hates, for example, anything that is remotely slimy or gelatinous, or mushy textures.

He's extremely weirded out by bubble tea. Why is it called bubble tea, there are no bubbles here! These are not bubbles, they're tapioca pearls. It should be called pearl tea! (He is also weirded out by the texture).

He likes how his heels make hem seem a bit taller and help him stand upright even though he dislikes the potentially negative effects they have on his spine. Which is why he stretches every day to make sure his back and feet don't resent him when he gets old.

Riddle adores Heartstabyul's hedgehogs, he thinks they are the cutest thing in the world (he'll never say that directly though).

He has been trying to improve his baking skills since the whole oyster sauce fiasco. And while he's on that, he's also been trying to relax a bit more and take it easy; something really important when baking, because things don't always turn out how you want them to (it's been a journey to say the least).

Vice-housewarden: Trey Clover

When Trey lears from Ace that Sebek's dad is a dentist he lowkey (highkey) loses his shit

Dentistry is just so interesting to him.

At firts glance he might look a bit psychotic when talking about him but he's really just fascinated by teeth. Like, these are bones that you can see, that have very different shapes and functions, all of which you use to ground up food. Oh, and when you're around 6 or 7 they start falling out only to be replaced by sturdier ones. How wild is that?

He's a fairly responsible person tbh. He takes rules more like a guideline but he's much more flexible than Riddle. He's usually in charge of making sure that newbies follow the dorm's rules (he usually makes sure they are technically following the rules without needing to put a lot of effort into it).

Trey loves Riddle as if he was his little brother (ever since he met his mom, he's sworn to himself to defend Riddle against what might come and to be there for him).

He has a sibling-like relation with Che'nya as well.

Except it's more of a "you're the most annoying person in this whole universe but I still love you."

Che'nya put that brush down you're spilling paint e v e r y w h e r e.

With Cater it's more like a best friend/friend relationship. Both understand each other well, and he knows the other is a very reliable dude in general (except when talking about chores).

He's the one he turns to after Riddle's overblot because he needs someone he can talk to who can uderstand just what he went through (he's exhausted from having to explain what happened to his family, Che'nya, his teachers...); he just wants to rest for a second.

Can handle exhaustion pretty well and can mask tiredness as well but when he knows he has to take a break he does. He will push himself a bit, but if he has to rest, he'll make sure everything's alright so he can take a nap or just chill in his room.

(Un)official social media manager: Cater Diamond

Cater has freckles, something he's a bit (a lot) insecure about bc he thinks they make him look unpolished and childish, so he always makes sure to wear bb cream or concealer to cover them and avoid getting more.

No one really gets it, and some of them have even gone out of their way to tell him that they're nothing to be ashamed of: from Trey telling him that he looks fine either way (and that they make him stand out from the crowd in a good way); to Riddle pulling up a presentation on why freckles are a natural thing and nothing to worry about but do be careful with sun exposure as having freckles can increase your risk of skin cancer and-

I know this is already canon and confirmed but I'd like to reiterate that this man is the opposite of an airhead. He might act a bit delusional sometimes but he knows what he's doing and he knows how to be professional online

He doesn't like studying, as he finds it a pain to spend hours memorizing stuff when he would be rather doing it.

I picture Cater as someone who would rather do presentations and practical stuff instead of 3-hour long text exams, as he finds stuff easier to actually memorize if he can do it.

His guilty pleasure? Staying up until past midnight on the weekends to watch any shitty soap opera while eating the most spicy noodles he was able to get at the convenience store. -he's probably the one responsible for teaching the other cards how to do their makeup.

why i think harvey specter and louis litt are bpd coded (to an extent)

this is just harmless headcanon based on what i noticed while watching, don’t take me too seriously. i’m pretty sure aaron korsh has never even heard of bpd and no one in that writers room knew enough about psychology to actually write a borderline character…

i could make a way more in depth analysis of their mental… situations… but i haven’t rewatched the show in a while so these are just my most basic observations

aside from his uh.. obvious emotional instability and anger issues. i think the most tangible proof i have of this one is when he was described as “loving, hating, and wanting to be harvey at the same time.” now, i’m pretty sure that was just a movie quote… but Very Telling imho…

also the way all his romantic relationships play out in the show (TARA!!!!)… idk y’all… that tara thing was textbook limerence in my eyes.

side note, i’ve seen people call him bipolar quite a bit but i’m pretty sure most of that is just the colloquial (see: wildly incorrect) usage/misunderstanding of the term and not actual concrete evidence of any bipolar theories.

this one is a little less obvious, so bear with me. but i think the way he started having panic attacks so severe he had to see a therapist (!!!) because donna went to work for someone else at the same damn firm… i’m sorry but the abandonment issues are wild. also the scene when he sees lipschitz one on one and he’s basically complaining that everyone leaves him and louis is gonna forget about him once he has a baby…? which uh, has he ever met louis before? also, that scene gets extra funny when the writers had him and donna leave for seattle like the day after lucy was born… who’s leaving who now?

Another cat lover! Perhaps the both of you would like to go to a cat cafe for one of your dates? It would be something that he would find both enjoyable and relaxing, especially if you get to be there with him.

His schedule is quite busy sometimes given the work he has with his unit, Knights, but if you would like, you could always join him when they have practices and lives. Honestly, the thought of you being in the crowd and cheering him on makes this young vampire smile.

He wanted to stay like this, enjoy it for as long as he could while he still could. He stares up at the ceiling, deciding to himself that your day will truly start when you decide to get out of bed. It happens a little over half an hour later, you wake up for real for real. Only this time, you’re the one met with Jay’s sleepy face. You bring up a hand to cup it, the tip of your thumb grazing his bottom lip. You’ve bought your boyfriend lots of chapstick but for whatever reason, none of them seemed to be working. Suddenly, Jay’s teeth are on your thumb biting it.

“Yah!” you exclaim. He holds your hand, pressing a kiss on your thumb and with a smile,

“10 minutes, you said.”

“To be fair, you didn’t wake me up,” you countered.

“You looked comfortable.”

Your day ultimately begins sometime before noon with the both of you in the kitchen. Jay allowed you to help him with the food prep but actually cooking was a different story.

“Let me help!” you say with a pout. Jay kisses you, teeth purposely (but lightly) biting your bottom lip as he pulls away.

“It won’t take long,” he replies. His nice way of telling you no. You end up setting the table but when you finish, Jay’s still cooking. Leaning on the doorway of your kitchen, you can’t help but admire the sight of his back while he wears his loose black shirt and gray sweatpants. His shoulders were broad and wide from all the working out he was doing. His back was like a canvas, one that you wanted to paint with scratches. You feel your cheeks heating up and shake your head while letting out a deep breath, now was not the time to thirst over your boyfriend. You go behind him, making an effort to keep your footsteps unheard. As your arms wrap around his waist,

“Yah! Don’t sneak up on me like that!” he says, slightly jumping up. Yet despite his words and despite how you can’t see him, you just know that he’s smiling to himself. One hand links itself with yours.

“How much longer?” you ask as you rest your head on his back.

“I don’t know, 10 more minutes?” You rolled your eyes but said nothing, deciding to enjoy just being in Jay’s presence for as long as you could. After eating came the dishes, something that you insisted on doing all on your own. Jay came up behind you this time, his chest covering all of your back and enveloping you in a type of warmth trademarked by him and him alone. While hugging you tighter you feel his lips tracing light kisses starting from your shoulder then leading towards your neck. 

“Jay, I’m trying to do the dishes!”

“I’m not stopping you.”

“You’re teasing.”

“And you weren’t?” You dry your hands with a nearby towel and turn your head so that you were looking at Jay,

“I hate you.” 

“You sure?”

“Mhm.” He smiles, tilting your chin upwards and as if it were second nature, your eyes close. It was meant to be a quick kiss but he couldn’t stop himself from taking it deeper. Your hands clutch at his shirt, his settling dangerously low on your back. He feels himself getting lost in the kiss, now knowing that home wasn’t the apartment that you shared nor was it the house he grew up in with his parents. Home was your warmth, your comfort, and your embrace. You were home and for as long as he could, he wanted to stay.
