Feliz día de muertos!!!!! Honestly I speak English here and idk how big the Hispanic (specifically mexican) side of Tumblr is ajdksjd, but here's a painting I did for día de muertos, the event sucked, hard, they put fucking Thriller, sang those typical "heartbroken" corridos, told stories that had nothing to do with the day (rata con thinner and another about strxpper clowns??????????) and had a performance that generalized prehispanic culture in México and like, it sucked, didn't want to be rude but it represented mexica culture badly and talked about it like it was all of México????? I'm not an expert on that I'm just some dumbass teenager with a selective hiperfixation on that subject but it's like ñññññ.

They had a Halloween party and called it a día de muertos exposition. Also they put a lot of incense, erotic stuff (completely unrelated to day of the dead and not because it was erotic) and started smoking weed which I wouldn't have cared about if it hadn't been a very closed space, it gave me a huge headache and nausea, and the inclusion of that in the performance is also like, unrelated????? They just started smoking weed to look cool idk?

I enjoyed hanging out with my friends though, and I'm proud of my painting :)
