Sometimes texts like this show up at a time when u were starting to be sad or depressed. Surely Allah is the only one and greatest of all

Tawakkul - تَوَكُّل

It is frequently mentioned in Quran.

meaning “to rely on” or “to surrender”

In Islam, Tawakkul represents a mental and spiritual attitude that embodies complete faith in Allah SWT as the Owner and Controller of everything in the universe.

The art of surrendering means that I know, no matter what the outcome is, good or bad, no matter what happens to me, good or bad, it's always in my best interest because Allah knows what's best for me. And you surrender to that idea.

And when you know it and you "believe" it, it's okay. But to really apply the art of surrender and to go against everything you've been conditioned to do, which is to panic, worry, be scared, be fearful, it takes a lot of courage. But once you apply it, the first time you apply it, it's scary. But then you realize it is easy. We all do do overthink, we keep ourselves worried, we destroy things for our own self. Our mind takes us to places.

But the art of surrender changes your life. And your mind shifts from

life happens "to" you

to

life happens "for" you !

STARTING THE JOURNEY

DEAR ALLAH

Tomorrow is Thursday 23 january the day I'm going to start Tafsir, please grant me your will so that I can persistently do it and become a better Muslim.

I'm really nervous as I don't know how to start so I'm starting from surah Al-Fatiha and then the last 10 surahs as somebody on internet suggested.

I'm also going to learn Arabic language starting this Friday so please grant me your will for that also.

I'll be really grateful to u 🤲🤲

‎It’s such a beautiful trait of the Prophet ﷺ how he would give his undivided attention to those he would talk to. He wouldn’t just turn his face but he would turn his whole body and make everyone feel like they were his favourite. Something i think we tend to fall short in.

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf to be sent to prison, deprived of his rights and denied justice, was the pen that wrote for him to become a minister, reigning over the treasury of Egypt.

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf’s brothers to dominate over him and throw him in the well

is the pen that brought them to Egypt, standing before Yusuf in need and at his mercy.

The same pen that took Yusuf from the arms of Yaqoub, returned him to his father years later as a Prophet and minister.

I do not know what may be written in my story next. But I know who holds the pen.

Shall I not trust the One who wrote the best of stories to write my story too?
