Chapter 5

Iris and her men were getting ready for their shift,when an large explosion put everyone on alert. "Zephyr,Sky, Lander, and bowa get on point. Zell, Teal,and Ben go aid Obi-Wan and his team. The rest of you are with me." She yelled and the 707th split of with there tasks.

Obi-Wan pov

My team and I were pinned down having half of our men lost. Just as things looked like it was it. Black uniforms from the 707th came in to view. They waisted no time knocking the enemy back. "General we have to move." Cody yelled as we back into a hall the 707th covering us.

"Obi-Wan whats your location?" Anakin's voice came over the comlinc. "In a hall of the south tower. We are pinned down Iris already dispatched a group to help but could use more." I said "Hang tight we are coming." He said cutting communication. I was about to give orders when the glass shattered around Anakin and Iris both looking like birds of prey coming from the sky. Soon as there feet hit the floor their Lightsabers were ignited. We pushed the enemy back. When all was said and done we were covered in oil. "This was an eventful day." I said looking over the damage. " this will take a while to clean up." Zephyr said sounding oddly sad. Iris placed her hand on the clones shoulder. Could Zephyr be no no it can't be. "It will be ok Zephyr we all will get this place back up an running." Iris had an apologetic look on her face as she looked at the clone. "Thanks mom you always know what to say." Zephyr said before turning to the 707th. "Well what you lot waiting for get moving." With a yes sir the 707th start cleaning. I nod at Cody and my men to help. Anakin's team joined in three hours later we were done. One hundred and fifteen men killed. Odd part about none of them were 707th men. "Iris your lucky none of them were your 'son's' as you put it." The 707th looked at Iris before she spoke. "How many did you lose Obi-Wan? You as well Anakin." Anakin looked at her "57" he said with a bit of sadness. "58" I said not sure where she was going with this. "The 707th lost brothers today. No one was unscathed Obi-Wan. My boys lost brothers your men lost brothers as well as the 501st. So no I was not lucky no one is in this pointless war." She said before walking away. Zephyr and her men glare at me. "You just had to upset our mom come on lads. Lets go get ready for the sift."Zephyr said "but what about mom sir" one of them asked Zephyr looked at him and shook his head. This mad the men move even the one that question. "Wow she is pretty upset over the losses." He said "Her attachment to them will hurt more in the long run " I said heading to my room. I had to report this to the council Iris was a danger to the war. "Obi-Wan heard about what happened we did." Yoda said "You seem troubled Obi-Wan what is it?" Windu asked "It's Iris I think she has convinced her Unit to follow her as a mother. I have heard them refer to her as mom. Not General Tanooki or General Iris." Yoda laughed "Iris treats her unit as family she does. On their own the clones call her mom. Worry about this I do not." Yoda said "I myself have heard them refer to her in that way Obi-Wan. The 707th is a family unit they are all very close and comfortable with one another. It is an attachment I admit but her team doesn't let how they feel stop them from accomplishing their goals. So if they want to call her mother and she call them her sons so what." Mac said it was surprising because he is a stickler for the rules. "Been questioned on this Iris has. Know what the cost is she does." Yoda said making me feel childish. "We are sending reinforcements as well as a Padawan for Skywalker and Iris. May the force be with you." Mac said before the the transmission cut off.

Back on Coruscant

On a gun ship two young Togruta wait to meet their masters. "Hi I'm Ahsoka Tano it's nice to meet you." The young female said looking up at the slightly taller male. His green eyes met her blue ones. With a soft smile he bows to her. "My name is Seswak Lousha and it is nice to meet you as well." He said making the female blush. "I can't wait to start training under lady Iris. Although many from Yatoosa are Jedi none of them have been from the royal family. Well she is the first female royal. " Seswak said with excitement. "I hear Master Skywalker is the chosenone." Ahsoka said trying to be better than the male. He chuckled "ah adorable trying to make yourself feel big." He said patting her head.

Lousha making chicken poutine

*makes children carry the food* *tells child to turn on oven to 425* *teaches child how to use oven* *asks to use my oven because hers has cleaner in it* *asks how long my oven take to pre heat* *says she will cook chicken two minutes longer then it says too* *leaves to her apartment to put chicken in her freezer* *slams my door* (I don't care though haha) -waited three minutes for her to come back *she walked in, changed her mind, said she would be right back and left again* -waited four minutes this time *walks in, drops shit on my floor* *explains that its air freshening oil* *asked to use lighter* *asks for a lighter* *tries to get old wax out of wax melter* *sets up the wax melter with oils on the wax* *plays with my hamster* *takes picture of wax melter* *carries chicken home* *makes the poutine* *child asks her "what's the yummy goodness [he] smells* *she says "supper go sit down* *sends me to go give my dog chicken*

CHAPTER 8

Seswak pov

Walking along side a Jedi master as an equal. This is a dream come true for me. Master Tanooki is nice little bit on the childish side but nice. I see the care and love she has for her squad. "Hey mom who's the kid?" How dare he address her like that. "Oh hello Zephyr this is my Padawan Seswak Lousha and your new brother. " She answered him. "Hey kid welcome aboard." He said calmly. I keep looking forward. He is just a clone nothing more than that. Iris swots me on the backs of the head. "I'm putting an end to that before it starts. The 707th is a family unit. We look out for one another. Now lets try that again shall we." She looked angry,but why is she angry? "Hello its nice to meet you to Zephyr. I apologize for my rudeness." I said he shrugs. "No harm don kid. You should keep on your toes though. Mom is a tough teacher." He said patting me on my back. "As he will soon learn. Now lets get this place cleaned up, tend the wounded and count the dead." She said with a warm smile.

Time skip four hours

By the time I hit my bunk everything hurt. I have never used so much energy in my life.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by master Iris wrapping my feet in a warm cloth. "You didn't need to do that Master." She looked up at me. "You stop that no one is master of anything here. Well accepted Anakin he is the master of getting captured." She joked I tilt my head. "What do I call you then?" I asked confused. "Call me Iris or if you want mom. Every one in the 707th seems to call me that." She said messaging my feet an legs. The stiffness went away after a few moments. She had me sit up so she can work on my arms and shoulders. "There we go nice and loose. I will see you bright an early in the courtyard." She said walking to the door. "Good night Seswak." She said gently before leaving the room. What is this feeling why is it so familiar?

I hear screaming and see many Togruta running

'Run Seswak!' A scared Ahsoka yelled dragging me along. "What's going on? Why are we running?" I asked knowing this was a dream. "The clones they are killing Jedi." She said I feel the sorrow emanating off her. A flash of white clouds my vision, When it passes I am standing in a soft grassy meadow. "Ahsoka?" I asked looking for her. I took one step and the green lush grass turned red and lying on the ground were Ahsoka and my Master.

With a jult I sit up screaming panting looking around. A cold swet dripping from me. The next thing I knew my door swung open revealing a worried Iris. With on look at me she was at my side in an instant. Her arms wrap around me in a comforting way. I look up to see the clone Captain from the 501st watching us. He nods and leaves us be. I wrapped my arms around her. I clung to her like a child who was frightened. "Shhhh it's ok we are safe. No one is going to get you. " she repeated rubbing my back. After some time and I was calm I explained to her the dream I had. Her eyes widened in shock. "What you saw was the future. Seswak you need to keep this to yourself for now. I will do some digging and see what turns up. Try and get some sleep ok." She said gently laying me down and rubbing my head. I soon fell asleep calmly.
