Coffee, Cake & Charity

So we had a bake sale to raise funds for our favourite charity (and one of the cities finest) Anawim. They provide a, ‘holistic service to women across the city’, and we are only too proud to have chosen them as our charity.

Anyway, we held a bake sale, some baked, some bought and we raised £145 for them to put towards whatever they want. 

Here’s a photo of our supervisors’ Angus and Bryoni - who organised the event - taking the funds to the lovely ladies down at Dawn House in Balsall Heath.

They were overjoyed with the donations but we promised to raise more, and we will. Not just money but they need clothing, feminine health and hygiene products, nappies, baby wipes, food for meals and much much more.

We are very proud to help them, knowing what they do with such limited funding and will continue to support them in the future; because we’re all about the community.

Numero Uno

The first of many. This is Loco’s digital newsletter in the form of a glorious tumblr blog. Loco Lounge, in case you’ve lived under a rock, is the best place to eat and drink in Birmingham, England.

Priding ourselves on our laid-back, no-cares, chilled out style of dining we are the premier place to hangout, dine, date, breakup, chitchat, write your bestseller, cram for your exams or, simply, read the paper.

With the best staff, the best location, sizeable digs, a private roof terrace and all the mirrors you could wish for to check your lipstick in it’s pretty unthinkable that you haven’t been here yet.

AND And and ... having just been voted the best place for vegan diners in Brum it’s no wonder we’re going from strength to strength.
