Hi Gina! Let me ask this because I am so lost... About all along and seeing ed in Manchester etc how are we so sure? Couldn't he go with eleanor or something? Why do some people now think it's the ONLY real larry proof? Sorry I am just so confused about this... 😭 I think I have missed something. Because when all along was released I wasn't online so much so I think I missed stuff 😩
Hi love. I don't know why anyone is saying it's only real anything. That just sounds kind of ridiculous IMO. Also, it literally happened a thousand years ago, so I may have some of the details wrong.
But, Ed played in Manchester October 17, 2011.
That night this tweet was posted.
Kati (@bulletprooflarry) made a very detailed post here about the night, why the boys chose that particular show, that fact that Eleanor didn't seem to be there, and the photo below that was taken with a fan. Here's a timeline of the early days of Elounor. Here's a whole bunch more
This was most likely the set list from their October 17th show as this one below is from 3 days later:
Lego House was the new single Ed released November 11, 2011. Louis' 2022 unreleased song "All Along" has the lyrics:
We saw Ed in Manchester I held you while he played Every time I hear his songs It takes me to that place
The only Ed Sheeran song Louis played on his 2022 tour post show exit song list is Lego House.
Not sure if there's more, but that's what I recall.

Harry wore the peace ring to perform at HSLOT on September 7, 2021. The ring is seen as a commitment ring or symbol of Louis’ and Harry’s relationship. Some theorize they trade it back and forth when they meet up. He doesn’t wear it again until exactly a year later, September 7, 2022
Louis covered 7 by Catfish and the Bottlemen, which starts out with the word Larry, in every show on LTWT22, and for the first time again on the final show of the North American FITF Tour 7/29/23 in Forest Hills NY

Nonsense - E.P.
Pairing: Evan Peters x SabrinaCarpenter!Reader Summary: You mentioned him in your Nonsense outro. Did he listen to it? What was his reaction? How can you confront him when he's standing right in front of you at an after-party? Warning/s: none (i think), super fluff and some flirtatious banter A/N: Y/N is still Y/N in this one. The reader is just Sab in a musical way, but in terms of looks and everything, it's all you, babes <3
Words: 1055
Ever since you started your career, you’ve had the biggest crush on Evan Peters. Your paths have yet crossed, but you hoped that day would come sooner. Recently, your song ‘Nonsense’ has gone viral and for all the right reasons. It was catchy, it was flirty, and it was relatable to anyone who’s feeling this type of way for their crush or partner. Needless to say, it was a hit. When you announced your tour, all your fans were hyped up because they knew you’d be singing that song. What they didn’t know was that you’d come up with outros for specific cities you’ll be going to.
When you arrived at St. Louis, Missouri, you were excited to perform. You’ve been there a few times and your fans from there have always been energetic and lively. When it was time to sing ‘Nonsense’, everyone cheered when they heard the intro. You were singing and dancing around and as you were nearing the end of the song, all your fans pulled out their phones and started filming. You smiled as you sang the outro:
This song catchier than chicken pox is
I bet your house is where my other sock is
Woke up this morning thought I’d write a pop hit
How quickly can you take your clothes off pop quiz
Everyone cheered before your improv outro. You chuckled a little before singing:
You guys are like family, not strangers
The crowd here in St. Louis are all lovers
My crush is from here, hello Evan Peters
As soon as everyone heard ‘Evan Peters’, your fans lost it. It immediately went viral. All your friends knew about your undying love for Evan Peters and they weren’t shocked when you confessed your love for him via concert. You, however, didn’t think much of it. After all, he’s such a big, big star. He also doesn’t have social media, so you were pretty confident that videos of you singing that verse won’t reach him.
But boy were you wrong. So wrong.
Somehow someone sent Evan the video and he found it entertaining and flattering. He thought it was the end of it, but of course he was asked about it at red carpet events and interviews. Every time he was asked about it, he’d always give a hearty laugh or a bright smile, and he’d say, “I find it flattering that I’m still qualified to be someone’s crush. It’s really cute and endearing.”
“Do you think there’s a chance for you and Y/N to date?” The interviewer would ask. He’d chuckle, shrug it off, and say something generic like, “Maybe.” or “Who knows, y’know? We never know what the future holds.”
Both of you went on with your careers until you finally met the man of your dreams at one event’s after party. You saw each other from afar and waved to each other. You took a deep breath and asked the bartender for another shot before taking it for liquid courage to approach your crush. Luckily for you, Evan was already on his way towards you. You turned around and were surprised to come face to face with him. He gave you a cute dimpled smile and said, “Hey, you’re Y/N Y/L/N, right? I recently learned that the verse you mentioned me in was actually improv. I’m very flattered.”
“Aww! It’s something I like to do in every city I’m in. When I realized I was performing in your hometown, I immediately changed the last line.” You said to him before flashing him a big smile.
“Oh, that’s so cool! Can I hear the original before the change?” He asked nicely.
“Oh, sure! It’s supposed to go: ‘you guys are like family, not strangers, the crowd here in St. Louis are all lovers, I don’t mind what they all say, fuck them haters’.” You sang to him.
“Hey, that’s good too! I’m obviously biased now that I’ve heard the one with my name in it.” Evan cheekily said.
You didn’t know what came over you (probably the alcohol in your system), but you had this sudden burst of flirting energy. You smiled at him flirtatiously and said, “I can always put your name in every outro I do.”
He caught on and raised an eyebrow, “Really?”
“Yeah, but you have to earn it.”
“How?” Evan asked with a cheeky grin. You were surprised at your back and forth flirting, but you liked it too much to stop.
“Well, we have to date, of course.” You said to him, smiling. He nodded with a bright smile before saying, “I mean I’d ask you out, but I’d have to hear another improv outro to convince me.”
“Is that so? Lucky for you, I’m a genius when it comes to that.” You grinned. You thought for a bit and sang:
This song catchier than chicken pox is
I bet your house is where my other sock is
Woke up this morning thought I’d write a pop hit
How quickly can you take your clothes off pop quiz
We are at the Oscars after party
I can be so flirty and so classy
If you date me I can show you dirty”
He looked impressed and gave you a dimpled grin and an applause. “That was amazing! So, when are you free?”
Your eyes widened. To be honest, you didn’t think he’d actually ask you out. You thought it was just playful flirting. Little did you know you already got his heart and attention. You intrigued him and he wanted more.
“Well, I’m free this week. I’ll go back on tour next week.” You told him as he nodded. He grabbed his phone to check the calendar and asked, “Does Thursday at 8pm sound good?” You frantically nodded and he chuckled at your reaction.
“Alright, Thursday it is, then. Can I ask one favor?”
“Anything for you, handsome.” You winked, making him blush.
“That outro you did… Can you sing it live on tour? I kinda wanna hear you sing about wanting me in front of a crowd.” Evan smirked. This man will be the death of you.
“Like I said, anything for you, handsome.” You grinned, exchanged numbers, and parted ways, not wanting anyone to bring attention to the both of you… not yet, at least.

A/N: There'll be part 2 dw ;) hope y'all enjoyed this as much as I did writing it hihi

Germa and French references
(Plus bonus Star Wars mention at the end)
Sanji's iron mask in the flashbacks immediately made me think of Dumas's works, but when I saw it I didn't think much about it. It's just like, "Oh I guess it's just part of the Sanji = French thing". Plus in one of the cover arts Sanji was drawn in a classic Musketeer outfit, so I thought it was just for fun.
But Twitter user Marudoro-san made this thread that pointed out a bunch of the same references I'd caught and said "Hey, maybe this is actually important to the plot later", and I think they have a point. So I figured I'd share what I'd already noticed, and I will highlight the input that I got from Marudoro-san in red here in this post.
Iron Mask
The man in the iron mask is a French prisoner whose identity is never truly known in history. In his novel, Alexandre Dumas invented a plot where the iron masked prisoner is the twin brother of King Louis XIV, and the plot involves the famous Musketeers from the previous novels in a conspiracy of switching the king for the twin brother.
At a glance, it might be just a literary Easter egg, but when I look at it again, I do start to have questions. Within the One Piece scenario context, this is unnecessary. In the Dumas novel, the mask seems to be needed to hide the prisoner's identity. But there's no need to hide Sanji's identity, and it's not to prevent him from shouting for help because he can still talk even with the mask. What is it for? Is it a clue that the Man in the Iron Mask novel is relevant to this story?
For one, the fact that the iron masked prisoner being the king's twin is noteworthy. Sanji is one of 4 quadruplets, but still. Marudoro said that maybe this is a sign that Sanji and Ichiji will have a confrontation later. This makes sense, because of the other Vinsmokes, the one most likely to represent a "king" would be Ichiji.
This is something I myself had considered before, that Ichiji specifically might later have a role as "Sanji's opposite". I don't know how yet, but the imagery and themes that I've seen so far seems to point that way.
Marudoro also points out that if you look into the Musketeer novels, Sanji has vibes similar to Aramis, who is described as something of a womaniser. Aramis happens to be the mastermind behind the twin conspiracy in the Iron Mask novel.
The correlation is vague, and it's hard to tell how is this going to be relevant, besides maybe "there might be other French history/literature references in Germa's storyline".
Les Misérables, Revolution, the French Royalty
The only two Germa servants who actually has proper names, head chef Cosette and Sora's personal servant Eponi, seem to be references to the Les Misérables characters Cosette and Eponine. Part of the narrative of Les Mis is the June Rebellion, an uprising of the anti-monarchists.
In the Soul Pocus song that serves as the outro of the WCI arc, the "lyrics" specifically has the exact word "guillotine". For many people, guillotine is very closely linked to the image of the French Revolution and the execution of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
Speaking of guillotine... Yonji's attack, translated as "Winch Guillotine" in the official translation, is actually called "Winch Danton" in the raw. This is possibly a reference to Georges Danton, and important figure of French Revolution, who is curiously executed by guillotine.
Sensei clearly knows the word guillotine, so why not just flat out call it "Winch Guillotine" like the translation?
For whatever it's worth, Danton was someone who was executed for opposing the new government after the first revolution. The revolutionaries got so bad that it was called the "Reign of Terror", so Danton turned against them and was trying to oppose this cruelty.
Yonji is rather visibly the least "bad" of the brothers and his reactions are almost like a "normal person" in a lot of ways, so maybe this is significant?
Marudoro-san said that the Nyasha/cat carriage the Vinsmokes were riding when they were about to meet Big Mum was incredibly similar to the funerary carriage of King Louis XVIII. While there are some differences, they do have a point.
Again, it's still unclear about what significance all of this stuff will have. Maybe the imagery of "revolution" and "King's funeral" indicate that Germa will be undergoing a lot of changes. Something that's beyond just the formation of Neo MADS.
The Knights Hospitaller... and Napoleon?
Marudoro-san says there's an interesting parallel between Germa and the Knights Hospitaller. This is a chivalric order that has privileges that puts them equal to a sovereign power. They have minimal land holdings, but has the standing almost on par with that of a nation. It's like the landless Germa, who is still recognised as a kingdom by WG up until their privileges were taken away after the mess in WCI.
The Knights has lost a lot of its power and territories in Europe through history, and finally, its headquarters in Malta was sacked by Napoleon. Marudoro-san highlighted that Big Mum's hat and sword was called Napoleon.
Marudoro-san took this analysis elsewhere, but for my part, I'm wondering if Germa almost being destroyed at WCI is a parallel of this attack of the Knights in Malta, with Big Mum being the parallel to Napoleon.
The possible proof of the Napoleon parallel is Law. Law was heavily instrumental in Big Mum's defeat in Wano, and his name are connected to events related to Napoleon's downfall.
Napoleon suffered a major defeat at the Battle of Trafalgar, and the man who was his jailer to the point of his death was a surgeon's son named Hudson Lowe. Law and Lowe looks different in English, but in Japanese both are spelled the same: ロー.
[Edit: Napoleon was also famously defeated in the Battle of Waterloo. In Japanese, Waterloo is spelled like this: ワーテルロー. It contains the same "ロー" as in Law's name.]
Marudoro-san said that Napoleon's invasion of Malta involved tricking the Knights to letting him dock under false pretences. I don't know how true this is, but at the very least this is a narrative that is accessible to the Japanese. One could argue that this is parallel to the conspiracy in Whole Cake.
If this parallel is really correct, then, this could be a hint of "Good Germa".
The Knights Hospitaller surrendered and survived that Napoleon encounter, with its status being even more diminished. Eventually it restructured as the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which still has its sovereign authorities (Wikipedia says they can even issue passports and currency), but is now an organisation whose activities are focused on charity.
Bonus: The Jedi and Clone Wars?? (Star Wars)
Marudoro-san also mentioned that the 66 of Germa reminds them of Order 66 from Star Wars, which ended the Jedi order and enabled the Sith to rise to power.
I only understand Star Wars very minimally myself, but a fan I talked to on Twitter confirmed to me that they think so as well. Especially because there's the specific focus on Germa soldiers being clones, and it's reminiscent of the whole clone plotline in Star Wars.
Order 66 ended the Jedi. The 66 of Germa is in reference to the destruction of the old Germa Empire.
If this parallel is true, then this might confirm the theory that "Germa is not actually evil before". If we read that the "Sith" is World Government, and the old Germa is "Jedi", then maybe it's hinting that all the story about them being evil in the past is a lie? They may be awful now because Judge is so driven by revenge, but maybe they were actually not evil before.

I just got back to my hotel after the Away From Home Festival and I needed to document my thoughts! This is the third festival in a row that I have attended and so far, this was my personal best experience. In Spain, I had planned poorly and ended up feeling dehydrated and sick, Italy was a travel nightmare (and the worst merch stand experience I have ever had), but Mexico was organized so well. Starting off, I actually got my bracelet this time (unlike Italy where most of them got thrown in the trash??). The merch line was short and efficient (I got a beautiful t-shirt—Louis’ merch never misses). The entire area was lively with colorful food stands, banners, lights, a giant AFHF sign in front of some stone. There was plenty of space, but it still felt like there were a lot of people there. The atmosphere was so chill, I loved it. Surprisingly, I never felt hot, the sun went down quickly and there was a gusty breeze most of the night.
Now for the music…
I completely missed Rodrigo Leal. I could hear Gibby while I went through the line outside (and I saw him later getting photos with fans). I thought he sounded great. I listen to some of his songs sometimes. Reverend and the Makers were better than I thought they would be. The lead singer fumbling with the Mexican flag was a bit comical, but they sounded tight as a group. Honestly, Dylan was kind of my favorite (of the openers). I didn’t really vibe with her music before the concert, but she was great on stage, and I respect that she cut all the Harry stuff. She added a rock edge to her more pop-y songs, and it changed them for the better. I don’t know she was just so charismatic on stage I dug it. Kevin Kaarl was clearly adored by the audience. Unfortunately, I don’t speak a word of Spanish, so I did not understand anything (and may have taken a bit of a snooze on the ground during his set). However, that is not to say I thought he was bad, quite the opposite. It was a nice change of pace, and his voice was moving. I love the DMA’s and were stoked that they were performing this year. They did not disappoint. I was a little distracted because Oli was like fifteen feet away from me singing along and dancing it was really cute 😊. It was so cool to have such a big band there at Louis’ festival. Ooooh the lineup was certainly my favorite of all the AFHFs I have been to so far. Spain is a close second, but I truly loved every act here, and in the case of Dylan, found her way more compelling in person.
Now for Louis…
He is pretty isn’t he. I can’t believe he essentially wore the poster as his outfit. His hair was perfect, and his skin glistening.
My top five songs from the night (in order of the setlist) were: MEGAMIX—All this time is the perfect song argue with the wall, and the live album made me appreciate the intro and transition between att and sibwawc even more than before, I though all of those sounds were prerecorded track, but I saw Steve messing with one of those sound board thingies in real time… neat! WALLS—this song just makes me emotional, especially when the crowd is so into it like they were tonight. BACK TO YOU—as much as I love a sappy moment, a festival set should be energetic and fun, and that’s what back to you is, she had me jumpin’. SATURDAYS—I admire that he has the confidence to sing alone at the microphone with hardly any backing instrumental for that long, it is so pretty, but when that build up pays off it is soooo good, the wall of sound was really taking the pain away on this Saturday. SILVER TONGUES—trust I meant it when I said, ‘I don’t feel like going home,’ what a jovial song I’m smiling just thinking about it, this song fills me with warmth!!
The instrumental outro is sick, and I can never remember what it sounds like, so that was fun to hear. I was trying not to be a grouch about the 1d songs, but why is night changes there for real? If he replaced it with We Made It, or HEADLINE?!?!?! this would be a darn good setlist. Drag me down is actually pretty good in my opinion. Where do Broken Hearts Go is fine live, but I dislike it in principle (if you’re going to sing a 1d cover, at least pick one you wrote on?).
The worst part of the night was when Chris walked right in front of me during night changes.
The best part of the night was going balls to the walls during Silver Tongues.
Truly the night (especially Louis’ set) flew by! I had a great time and cannot wait to see what is in store for next year :)

Louis had filmed the Drag Me Down music video with One Direction in 2015.
This is the reason the crew were dressed as astronauts!
The outro song at WOODLANDS was Walking On The Moon, by The Police.

*puts on conspiracy hat*
so... outro song in milwaukee was "i can see clearly now" by johnny nash. the song has these lyrics,
"here's the rainbow i've been prayin' for"
and... even if i haven't seen a clear photo/video, i know there was a rainbow lights project during the megamix.
yeah. i know. to make it more... interesting. the song was added to the playlist 30 minutes before the end of the show. here's a screenshot of my laptop (as a bonus, enjoy the addition of "baby one more time" to the playlist 2 days ago):
so, it was 8:50pm when i took it. song was added 44 minutes before then, making that around 8:06pm for me.
the megamix ended around 7:52pm for me (thanks to our screaming the shows in the server, i know this).
so like... you feel me?
louis: john, mate, whenever they finally get it and do the rainbow lights for the megamix... play this song.
jdelf: you got it, mate.
#am i reading too much into this? maybe.#am i freaking out? maybe.#was it because it stopped raining? maybe#but like i said... i put on the conspiracy hat#so... don't come at me with other possibilities because i'm the person that takes into account all possibilities trust me#this is the clowny one that popped up in my brain#cheers!

Louis Tomlinson says he has stopped comparing his fame to that of the other One Direction musicians
In an interview with g1, the musician comments on career changes, competitiveness in the music industry and the Brazilian remix that transforms his 'Kill My Mind' into funk.
Former member of the British boy band One Direction, Louis Tomlinson will perform three shows in Brazil in May . It will be the third time that the musician performs in the country, an experience that, according to him, is always chaotic — and "in the best possible sense". This is what the singer told g1 , in an interview held at Allianz Parque, where he will play in São Paulo, on May 11th .
The shows are from the "Faith in the Future" tour, in which Louis focuses on his latest album, released in 2022. The setlist also includes songs from the album "Walls" and, of course, hits from One Direction.
A craze among children and teenagers in the 2010s, the pop group was formed from the TV show "The X Factor" and lasted six years, disbanding in 2016. Since then, the musicians have pursued solo careers. A fact that, in Louis' eyes, is inevitably competitive.
“Your only frame of reference is to compare yourself to the other members,” said the Englishman. "You start to think, 'If they're getting it, why am I not getting it?'"
On Spotify, the number of monthly listeners between artists differs greatly. Divorced boy band's most popular star, Harry Styles has around 58.2 million. Next are Zayn Malik (27.3 million), Niall Horan (17.3 million), Liam Payne (5.7 million) and Louis (2.9 million).
But if success metrics like this were once a burden for the musician, today they are no longer, according to him, who also made a point of reiterating that he was always proud of his friends.
FULL INTERVIEW UNDER CUT:
g1 - What is the main difference between Louis Tomlinson from X Factor, in 2010, and Louis Tomlinson today?
Louis Tomlinson - There is a lot of naivety in the boy who appeared on the X Factor. I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. I didn't know how that would land me sitting here. I definitely had no idea what I was getting. I think I feel much more fulfilled. More confident. It took me a while to have enough courage to say: 'I'm creative, I'm a singer, I'm a songwriter'. Now, I'm just internalizing all these feelings. When you grow up in a place like Doncaster, where I grew up, it takes a while to believe all these things. Because you only watched it from afar, on TV or radio. So, when you become one of these people, there is a whole process until you believe and understand everything.
g1 - And what is the biggest similarity?
Louis Tomlinson - Probably my appearance (laughs). Well, I hope my fans don't correct me here. I like to think I've always had a pretty lovely relationship with them. I think that's the only constant thing.
g1 - Do you know any Brazilian singers or bands?
Louis Tomlinson - We were talking about Anitta today. And um... Fresh? Fre? Fresno? I'm learning. I hope [the confusion with the band's name] didn't come off as disrespectful, it wasn't my intention.
Do you have any recommendations for me? I picked up some tips today. What do you have for me?
g1 - There is a Brazilian musician called FP from Trem Bala. He did a remix of 'Kill My Mind'...
Louis Tomlinson - How cool! So far, you have made the best recommendation. Definitely.
g1 - Can I show you?
Louis Tomlinson - Of course!
g1 - What's up? Did you like it? Is there anything you would like to say to FP do Trem Bala?
Louis Tomlinson - Yes, it's a good vibe . Fun. Very fun. Thanks for doing a remix of the song.
g1 - This is your third time in Brazil. What comes to mind when you hear things like 'playing a show in Brazil', 'Brazilian tour', or simply 'Brazilian fans'?
Louis Tomlinson - Chaos. And in the best possible sense. I totally love it.
Live experiences are defined by the most chaotic moments. And coming here and always feeling this energy is as if from the first drum beat, the fans were already there. It's a really triumphant feeling.
g1 - In musical terms, how was the experience of creating 'Faith in the Future' compared to 'Walls'?
Louis Tomlinson - I felt much more fulfilled, confident. I had more understanding of what I wanted to do and how to do it. [On the first album], there was the factor that I left One Direction. It was like my head was a mess and there was so much to think about... I had no clear direction. I needed to go through the experimentation phase to truly understand who I am as an artist. This took time. Throughout my creation of 'Walls', I had that happening, but I was in a clearer, more concise place going into 'Faith in the Future'. And I think that made [the second] record better.
g1 - You recently created 28 Clothing, a fashion brand. What is your relationship with this sector?
Louis Tomlinson - I've always had a very funny relationship with fashion. Without a doubt, I'm interested in clothes, always have been. Since I was young. But there is a level of haute couture that goes far beyond my understanding.
You know, I like to dress well. Branding is something I've always wanted to do. It is also intertwined with one of my [greatest] passions, football. Football and fashion have been connected for as long as a game has been a game. The fashion of the people in the stands and everything... I think it's a very interesting thing and, certainly, a culture that I was already part of when I was younger. So, the brand helps me tell my story.
g1 - You once mentioned that you felt a little uncomfortable and more competitive at the beginning of your solo career. He said he was a little upset because he kept comparing his level of success to the other members of One Direction. Do you still feel this way?
Louis Tomlinson - No, I don't. In truth. But I think anyone — and obviously, there's not going to be many people who can relate to this — but anyone who's been through a similar situation...
Being in a band and going out on your own will always mean that your only frame of reference is comparing yourself to the other members. That's literally all you have.
I think it's a matter of maturity, actually. It took a long time for me to look at it for what it was. Because that's where the petulance begins. You start to think, 'If they're doing it, why can't I do it?'. And that becomes a little toxic. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the music industry. She is naturally competitive. We are all competing for places. But now I see it in a very different way. And like I said, this requires maturity. I also needed to be successful on my own to get through this. To get over it. Now it comes back as a confidence that I feel to be saying these things. Oh, and just to reiterate, because it's important: while I felt competitive, or more competitive than I am today, it wasn't like I wasn't immensely proud of everything the boys were doing. It was more about reflecting on my own situation. Just about thinking, 'Oh, I wish I had some of that.' Now, I feel like I'm in a very, very different place. And it's a more pleasant thing to feel, because being very competitive is not always the most pleasant feeling.
g1 - I imagine you hear questions like this all the time, right? Is it peaceful for you?
Louis Tomlinson - Yes, everything is fine. As I mentioned before, I understand the obvious public interest in One Direction. This is obvious. And you know, I appreciate that these things are interesting. I suppose [they are].
g1 - Lastly, what is your favorite song at the moment and why?
My favorite album is Paolo Nutini's latest. It's great, incredible. He's an incredible vocalist, maybe he's my favorite singer. It is indeed an inspiring album.
And favorite song... I can't remember the name, but it's by The Libertines, a band I've liked since I was young.
