To be honest I’m very surprised people were not more overwhelmed by the bluegreen/finish line/alligator pants. It was a very BIG acknowledgment for part if his fanbase right? Pretty loud

Yeah, it was great 😂😂 I had a good laugh when I first saw he managed to find those trousers in the first place I mean, how is that even possible LOL but I actually didn’t go to twitter to check how the reaction was over there. I guess here on tumblr people are just slowing moving on and understanding things changed a lot, the way he and Harry communicate is not the same as it was before. People are drained from all the stuff that happened in the last couple of years and these sorts of things now (although they’re fun) just feel a bit confusing. Personally I can’t bring myself to care too much about it and honestly feel a little gaslighted. But I’m happy Louis had fun with it, we definitely had our moment as well!! But I’m not going to fool myself into thinking it’s something deeper or anything but simply an acknowledgement.

My favorite thing about Annabeth is her wardrobe.

Cause like, Rick simplifies her clothes in a way a man would, and you can tell.

Cause in EVERY book, from The Lightning Thief to Chalice, she’s in the goddamn CHB shirt. With like some shorts or cargo pants. Nothing more, nothing less.

He’s made improvements over the years, giving her some other clothes. But he’ll always come back to old faithful.

I wanted to add a couple more points: 1. Both the shirt, and the shorts he wore have locations in both Berlin and Tokyo. Ahem, ahem. He might have had both of them before, but choosing to wear that shirt in India while we have been speculating after Harold's Japan adventure is definitely a choice. 2. There's not much talk about this, and there's probably little connection, but daisies have always been this important queer thing for me because because Alan Turing (father of computer science as we know today, and gay man persecuted for his sexuality) was fascinated by daisies from a young age, and his fascination led him to make important discoveries in mathematical biology. So I thought there would be stronger connections with queer culture, but apparently not?

As a boy, he had been so entranced by daisies that his mother, railway engineer Sara Turing, once drew a sketch of little Alan gazing at the daisies instead of paying attention to his hockey game.

So daisies have been inherently queer to be because of this connection to Turing and I had a section for daisies for quite some time on my professional website LOL so definitely loving that choice.
