Right around Liam’s passing, I posted this fic for the @louisrarepairfest . It didn’t feel right to talk about it back then. To be honest, it doesn’t feel right not even now, but I’m slowly trying to recover. This is my first baby step in that direction.

Sighhhhhhhhh...but I don't want to own it though! I want other people to write it so I can read it, toooooo! Every once in a while I check the pairing tag just hoping the two I wrote won't still be the only two. Seriously, wouldn't it be sort of ridiculous if I wrote THREE Louis/Rob fics though?

I did get a little teensy bit of inspo with the recent Cillian Murphy interviews for Oppenheimer where he like doesn't know what a meme is, doesn't have social media, can't wait to see the Barbie movie, out there wearing sheer shirts and has no clue the internet is melting down about it. I had always intended to write an actual like halfway serious, romantic Louis/Cillian fic but it'd probably turn out to be silly now lol oh well

«So, you’ve done this before, huh?» Steve breaks the silence, the question aimed at Louis.

He nods in the dark, «Yeppp,» the p popping emphatically.

«The five of you, inside a van like this?» Krystle seems surprised, probably not familiar with the story. «I cannot imagine the level of excitement of those shows. It feels absurd to do it once, but twice? A bredvan experience 2.0 seems unreal.»

«It was like it is now, only… multiplied by five,» Louis whispers as Matt passes the joint to Micheal. «The fans only found out because we recorded it and put it in the movie. They celebrate it with clips and stuff every year. They call it the bread van anniversary.»

Steve snorts when Louis shrugs, as if this is somehow normal.

«Wait, where’s Josh?»

«Somewhere on his PC, I guess.»

«Yeah, editing and scrolling through the thousands of versions of the same pic.»

«We’re not going to have a record of this moment, then. This can get messy. Proper messy.»

Louis couldn’t help but chuckle and was trying to hide his smile as he watched on when Pedro turned and looked directly at Louis, freezing when he did so. After an awkward moment at a party Louis wasn't actually invited to, Louis keeps running into the incredibly attractive Pedro Pascal. Somehow, it's Pedro who manages to make a fool of himself, causing Louis to grow increasingly more confused at his behavior while also feeling more drawn to him. Maybe someday they'll be able to manage a moment that doesn't end in one of them feeling the need to run from the room in order to escape the other.
