He left - moved all the way to America to start fresh. But what happens when, several years down the line, a twist of fate causes their paths to cross again in the most… unexpected place? Will the pair be able to keep their heads on straight, or will the flames of their love grow out of control again, burning down everything they had worked so hard to build up between them?

Projected at around 90k words, Maybe, Forever is a story about young love and second chances. Featuring a quirky Niall, a tell-it-how-it-is Zayn, and whole lot of idiotic pining, this “take-two” style fic follows Harry as he tries to balance how he feels with what he thinks is the right thing to do. Join him on this journey while he explores what it actually means to love someone, and find out where that revelation leaves him and Louis.

here's a small snippet from chapter 2 of my fic 'what you do can get you home' written for @secondtimesacharmfest and the corresponding moodboard! :) to be posted somewhere in the spring 🍃

“You’re being paid to write a song, right?” Harry asked rhetorically. “Let’s do it, then.” Louis could tell he was not amused. His tone was challenging, almost as a warning that from now on he'd be testing his skills, his posture, over analysing everything that came out of Louis' mouth. It was hell. And, unfortunately, a behaviour he had been well accustomed to. Harry used to be like this every time he got mad over something and Louis couldn’t figure out exactly what he had done wrong: he would intently study him sternly and only retort every Louis' question with short, raw answers. “So, how do you usually do this?” Harry snapped Louis from his thoughts, preventing him from dwelling too much into those memories and he noticed right away that Harry had chosen to sit on the chair closest to him. Which was totally, completely, utterly fine. No problem. Nope. Not even when he noticed this Harry smelled exactly like before, a mix of the perfume he had been using since he was eighteen and the coconut oil he always applied after washing his hair. That was alright. All good. “I-” Louis started but immediately stopped himself. The truth was, he didn’t know. He had no idea how Todd Williams – the name was still bugging him – did it, but he had written a couple of songs with other people before, so it couldn’t be that different. Louis thought back to those times, to how they would usually get started. “Is there anything in particular you want to write about, any feeling you're trying to convey?” Harry seemed to think hard for a moment, his left hand scratching his chin more compulsively as the seconds passed, a reddish mark quickly forming. “How about that feeling you get when you meet your ex who broke up with you for no apparent reason, out of nowhere, after four years of not seeing them nor hearing from them, just because they now decided to boycott your career?”

prompt 41: All This Time themed AU, where Louis was visited by the Ghosts of X-mas Eve on his 28th birthday, made him experience 3 different lives of 3 different Louis Tomlinsons (1st where Louis was the one who left the band first, 2nd where Louis became the pop sensation and not Harry, 3rd is where Louis lived a normal life) they gave him 1 wish, and its up to him to decide whether or not he'll like to live in the lives of those Louis Tomlinsons or will he just stick to his own life

Harry remembers when Louis had called him in the middle of the night the first time he’d slept with a girl. He had been less than thrilled when Louis crawled into his bed to tell him about it. The memory is vividly echoing in his brain.  “I slept with her,” Louis had said, slipping under Harry’s covers and shifting around to get comfortable. Harry rolled over, his back to Louis. “With who?” “Annie,” Louis whispered.  Harry hardly remembers Annie now. He wonders if Louis does. People don’t tend to forget the person they lost their virginity to. Harry certainly hasn’t. Louis’ breath had been molten against Harry’s neck that night. He remembers resenting the way Louis had stuck his icy toes between Harry’s calves. Not because his toes were cold or because it was late at night, but because of Annie. Because he had slept with Annie, he had feelings for Annie, yet he was there, in Harry’s bed, when it was all said and done. “How was it?” he remembers asking, only to torture himself further. “Fine,” Louis replied in a tone so nonchalant it made Harry's mouth feel like wax. It was somehow worse than had he said it'd been amazing. “Weird. But fine.” “S’that why you’re at my house at 2 am?” he had murmured. “‘Cause you had mediocre sex with a girl? Were you at least nice to her?” And Louis had laughed out loud, pulling Harry close to his chest while Harry’s heart threatened to beat out of his. Harry can still hear it now. The way Louis had said “Harry,” with a chuckle, brushing his hand over his waist, his breath hot on his neck, melting his skin. “I didn’t just leave her stranded alone if that’s what you’re asking. She had to get home,” he said before asking if Harry was mad. “I’m not mad, just tired,” Harry lied.
