Why do you think a lot of the fandom thought Louis was the funniest one? That’s one thing I never understood. Maybe it’s just my sense of humour is different but none of his jokes or pranks were ever funny to me. I think they thought of him as more entertaining compared to Liam and Zayn or Niall. Seems like an immature ten year old boy’s idea of humour with him blurting out random things and trying too hard to be sassy/look cool. Silly humour isn’t necessarily bad but he was so over the top, way too loud, and too silly. The whole thing with him changing the song lyrics in 1D in life performances was never hilarious to me. It just felt like he’s mocking their songs because he thinks he’s cool.

His sense of humour is really childish, and the fans who appreciated it were either children themselves or older women who saw Louis as an adorable kid, a 'little menace'.

In my opinion Zayn and Louis ended up disliking Harry because they are the sort of people who can't stand others enjoying things they aren't interested in themselves.

He grew up a lot between 2010 and 2012, and he's obviously a person with curiosity who gets on well with people. He didn't follow them down the road of getting more and more laddy. He reacted differently to the pressure (that we know of anyway) and didn't seem to be as into drugs as they were. But really, he just doesn't seem to be like them. And I think you can see that especially Louis did not like that (he was the self-appointed boss after all).

He talks himself of feeling incredibly lucky to be doing what he's doing. Imagine being a kid from a working/lower middle class background, who loves clothes, and suddenly you've got access to a front row seat at fashion shows? That's nothing to sneer at. And imagine if through your job you suddenly have access to a whole world of different types of performers, some of them much older, and they've all got stories and wisdom to share with you? And maybe the people you work with think less of you because you'd rather do that than hang out in a converted camper van and smoke weed while playing Call of Duty. What are you going to do? You aren't like them and you perhaps don't like the way they are. So you get on with being you.

I think this happens to a lot of teenagers, nothing to do with fame or fortune. You get people who love what they love, and they get on with enjoying their lives and being grateful. Then you get people who don't understand that way of being at all, and maybe, like that anon said, it's insecurity. They sneer and attack and try to bring you down, and they hate you when you don't let them do that.

I know people think it's funny but when Louis talks about hating people who like avocado on toast, that's what I see. He's incredibly limited and tries to limit others all the time by 'keeping it real': it's a form of bullying. Even his alcohol abuse, and the way he hints at abusing others by making them drink, is a way to remove people's self control and transfer it to him. I would go further and say (and this is ridiculous supposition on my part) that Louis' entire career exists to prove to Harry that trying to better yourself is unnecessary and pretentious, just like he told him in 1D.

This was Louis' opinion of himself and his bandmates, and he was furious when Harry rebelled and sought a more sophisticated group of friends with a diverse range of interests.

Why are there so many photos of Louis on stage but not actually singing?

He does spend a lot of time just ambling about with his alcohol, or even sitting down. A very lazy performer.

Louis is being a rude brat here. Their choreographer says that Louis and someone else should be sitting down at the start of Louis' beloved Little Black Dress, and Louis hates that idea. He and his vile sidekick Liam then tell Paul he hasn't done any work.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Any "artist" who tapes an encyclopedia on the floor so they can sing THEIR OWN songs is not an intelligent person.

This also carries over to other parts of their life. It's sloppy work ethic. It's disrespectful to the people who paid money to see it and the people who attach their names to those sloppy shows. He has no respect for HIMSELF and no interest in doing the best job he can. He's slovenly and unkempt in his appearance. He encourages women to objectify him and then scolds them when they do.

He disgusts me and I wait impatiently for the day that people wake up to the fact that they've been idolizing someone who does not deserve their time and effort and who truly does not have any appreciation for it beyond his bank account and his ego.

I don’t understand how Louis even has the amount of fans he does. I didn’t even know who he was until I saw Nina Dobrev sending condolences on Twitter for the loss of his mother in December 2016. Always been the most forgettable member of One Direction. Most people couldn’t even pick him out of a lineup. Now, as a fan of Harry since 2017, I’m constantly bombarded with content about Louis from those called Larries. It’s so annoying. I wish Harry was never associated with that nobody.

Louis is so desperate to be seen as “edgy and hard” so he can be taken seriously in the indie scene and it’s so pathetic and embarrassing. Everyone thinks he’s a joke and a talentless loser. Everyone knows he wouldn’t be famous if it weren’t for riding on the back of the other boys during 1D. It’s offensive for him to keep up this narrative of the poor underdog, struggling musician trying to making it in the indie world when he’s a millionaire from a hugely successful boy band. He’s an imposter. Do any of his so called “peers” in the indie genre even give him the time of day anymore? Sam Fender is more relevant than he is right now! Louis needs to grow up. What were the low points of Louis' career?

1. Signing with Syco again when all the other guys had moved on.

2. Becoming an XF judge.

3. Miss You failing to chart on the Hot 100, along with all his subsequent singles.

4. Being dropped by Sony and taking a year to find a new label. Nobody was interested in him.

5. BBC Radio 6, NME, Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds and other touchstones of alternative music rejecting his reincarnation as Liam Gallagher. The last time he was played on UK radio was 2019.

6. The four AOTV premieres. Not a single journalist showed up to review his film. Not a single celebrity walked the red carpets.

7. His tragic attempts to play huge stadiums. 16k people at Velez Sarsfield, capacity 50k.

8. The empty venues for the FitF tour of the US. Thousands of tickets on resale sites for just $10. Some venues had less than 20% attendance.

9. The album FitF receiving only four critic reviews.

10. The casual cancellation of his Asian tour dates.

11. 28 Clothing launching and not a single style magazine reporting on it.

12. Louis cancelling signings because he broke his arm when he was drunk on vodka.

The thing with Louis' story about being blindsided by the end of the band is that it's total bullshit. He would have to have been completely out of every loop, to have been excluded from meetings at every point, and to be absolutely unobservant to the point of absence, for that to be true.

He just likes the drama. It's a lie that has been crated to facilitate his underdog career. His whole post 1D career is fishing for sympathy, creating this story that he is poor Louis who has overcome all the odds to have success, the power of the dream and all that guff.

In reality, we know the end of the band was discussed in late 2014 (Harry said this). We know future contracts were being discussed (as per Zayn) and that was before Zayn left, so between late 2014 and March 2015 when he left. We know they announced the hiatus in August 2015.

What Louis is suggesting is a reality where Harry said in 2014 'let's have a hiatus' and nobody wanted it so they carried on, Zayn left, they carried on until August when it was announced, and in all that time they never spoke of it again till the decision was made before August. Doesn't that sound ridiculous? Ten months of everyone avoiding the subject! Even when Zayn left! It is ludicrous that anyone would believe that. It's ludicrous that he even tries to peddle that myth.

They were by this point young men, four to four-and-a-half years into their careers, they were aware that their sales were falling, their tour sales were no longer great, and they themselves were not rubbing along as well as they had done. Louis might have objected but he had everything to lose. One Direction was an absolute gravy train for him, the talentless non-artist of the band (and the bar was quite low to be honest). However you don't have to be a genius to work out that he's talking shit, because if he really was so unaware then why is that? Was he in a coma? No. Was he not talking to the others? No. Was he absent from the many meetings there would have been to tie things up? Doubtful. He is just a fraud.

It was also no secret that in June 2016, Harry signed an $80m deal with Columbia for three albums. Articles like the one linked below made the situation crystal clear.

If Louis had any sense, he'd have realised Harry was going to be tied up making those albums for at least the next five years, yet Louis carried on lying to fans that the hiatus would only be for 18 months-two years.
