--- The morning light trickled through the half-open windows of the drama clubroom. Legoshi shifted uncomfortably as he adjusted a prop tree, his mind preoccupied with a myriad of thoughts. The sudden announcement from Louis the previous week had taken everyone by surprise—a new head writer had been chosen.
She had arrived earlier that day, slipping into the room with all the presence of a shadow. Legoshi watched her from the corner of his eye as she sat, barely speaking, her sharp gaze fixed on the scattered scripts before her. A black cat with an air of indifference, she radiated a quiet intensity that made even the most confident club members uneasy.
“Her grades are unmatched,” Louis had explained with his usual brisk tone. “She’s exactly what we need to elevate this production.”
Legoshi’s tail flicked nervously as he approached her.
“Uh... hi. I’m Legoshi,” he murmured, his voice softer than usual.
The cat glanced up briefly, her green eyes narrowing slightly before she returned to her work. “Okay.”
It wasn’t rude, but it wasn’t warm either. It was
curt, like she had decided he wasn’t worth more than a single syllable. He shifted awkwardly.
“So
um, you’re the new writer?” he tried again, his ears twitching as the silence stretched uncomfortably.
“Yes.”
Another sharp, clipped answer. Legoshi’s tail drooped. He wasn’t good at conversations on the best of days, but this was like trying to talk to a brick wall. Still, there was something about her that intrigued him—something about the way she seemed to carry a world of thoughts behind those short answers.
“Is there
anything you need help with?” he asked, trying to be helpful.
The cat finally put down her pen and looked at him fully. Her expression was unreadable, but her voice was calm and measured. “No. I’m used to doing things myself.”
Legoshi nodded, unsure if that was a dismissal. “Okay
I’ll just, uh, be over here then.”
She didn’t reply, her attention already back on the papers in front of her. He slunk back to his corner, silently berating himself for his awkwardness. But as the hours passed, he couldn’t help but watch her work.
Her movements were precise, her focus unyielding. She scribbled notes in the margins of the script, her handwriting neat and deliberate. Occasionally, she would pause to glance around the room, her sharp eyes missing nothing.
It was Louis who finally broke the ice—if only unintentionally.
“Legoshi, stop lurking and make yourself useful!” the deer snapped, gesturing toward the new head writer. “She needs the last script drafts from the archives. Take her.”
Legoshi’s ears flattened, but he obeyed. He shuffled over to her, mumbling, “Uh, we need to get the drafts. I can show you where they are.”
She stood without a word, gathering her things before following him.
The walk to the archives was silent. Legoshi felt like he should say something, but every time he glanced at her, she seemed lost in thought, her expression unreadable.
When they reached the dusty shelves of the archives, she finally broke the silence.
“This must be exhausting for you,” she said, her voice low but unexpectedly soft.
Legoshi blinked. “What do you mean?”
“All this social interaction,” she replied, glancing at him sideways. “It seems... draining.”
He hesitated. “It can be,” he admitted, “but I like helping people.”
She gave a small, almost imperceptible nod, as though she understood. They worked in silence for a while, sorting through the papers.
“You’re... different,” she said suddenly, her voice so quiet he almost didn’t hear it.
“Different how?”
She didn’t answer right away, her eyes focused on the script in her hands. Finally, she murmured, “Most people talk too much.”
Legoshi chuckled softly, a genuine smile tugging at his lips. “I guess I’m not most people then.”
For the first time, her lips twitched, almost forming a smile. It was brief, but it was there.
Maybe, Legoshi thought, as they continued to work together, she wasn’t as unreachable as she seemed.
---
The warm glow of the afternoon sun cast soft streaks across the dusty floorboards of the drama club’s archive room. Legoshi’s ears twitched nervously as he glanced at the black cat beside him. She was leaning against one of the towering shelves, her sleek frame almost melding into the shadows, her sharp green eyes scanning the scripts she had pulled from the stacks.
The air felt heavy. Legoshi shuffled his feet, his large claws scraping lightly against the floor. He wanted to speak, to break the suffocating silence, but her rigid posture and piercing gaze kept him rooted in place.
“Legoshi,” she said suddenly, her voice low and deliberate.
He flinched, startled. “Y-Yes?”
“You’re breathing too loud.” She didn’t look up, her tail swishing once before curling tightly around her.
“Oh. S-Sorry.” He ducked his head, his ears flattening as he tried to stifle the deep, instinctive breaths his body demanded.
For a moment, she said nothing, her expression blank as her eyes flicked between the pages of the script. Then, with a sigh, she set the stack down and turned to him fully, her hands resting loosely in her pockets.
“You’re... not what I expected,” she murmured, her tone unreadable.
Legoshi blinked, his tail curling awkwardly behind him. “What do you mean?”
“Most people are loud. Obnoxious.” She tilted her head slightly, her gaze narrowing as she studied him. “You’re... quiet. And you don’t stare.”
Legoshi rubbed the back of his neck, his claws grazing the fur there. “I-I mean, it’s rude to stare. And I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable
” His voice trailed off, his body hunching slightly under her scrutiny.
Her lips twitched—a movement so subtle it might have been missed entirely. “Not bad,” she muttered, almost to herself.
“Uh
thanks?” Legoshi offered hesitantly, his hands fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.
She turned back to the scripts, her movements fluid and deliberate. The air between them settled into a tense quiet, though it felt less sharp than before.
---
Later, back in the drama clubroom, Louis was barking orders at the cast, his voice sharp and commanding as he directed a rehearsal. Legoshi lingered near the edge of the room, holding a box of props. His eyes darted to the black cat, who had returned to her corner with the same detached grace, her pen scratching lightly against the pages of her notebook.
Legoshi couldn’t help but watch her, his large, gray ears twitching slightly. There was something captivating about her—how still she was, like a predator lying in wait. She wrote with an intensity that made the rest of the bustling room feel irrelevant.
A loud clatter jolted him from his thoughts.
“Legoshi!” Louis barked, his sharp amber eyes boring into him. “Stop staring and do something useful.”
“S-Sorry!” Legoshi stammered, his claws fumbling with the box as he scrambled to set it down. His tail curled tightly around his leg as he ducked his head, trying to make himself smaller.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the black cat glance up, her green eyes briefly flicking to Louis before returning to her work.
---
Later that day, as the club emptied out, Legoshi found himself walking beside her again. She didn’t speak, her footsteps soft and deliberate against the pavement.
“I, uh, hope today wasn’t too stressful,” Legoshi offered, his voice barely above a murmur.
She glanced at him, her expression unreadable. “Why do you care?”
Legoshi hesitated, his shoulders hunching as he struggled to find the right words. “I
I just want to make sure you’re okay. That’s all.”
Her ears flicked back, and she looked away. “I’m used to stress. It’s not a big deal.”
He nodded slowly, his claws tapping lightly against his thighs as they walked. “I guess
but you don’t have to handle everything alone. Sometimes it’s okay to let people help.”
She stopped suddenly, turning to face him. Her gaze was sharp, her tail flicking behind her. “Why? Why does it matter to you?”
Legoshi froze, his ears flattening as he struggled under her intense stare. “B-Because
” He swallowed, his large hands fidgeting nervously. “I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t fit in. And
I think it’s nice to have someone who understands.”
Her eyes widened slightly, the smallest crack in her composed demeanor. But just as quickly, she looked away, her shoulders tensing.
“I don’t need anyone to understand,” she said flatly, though her voice was quieter than before.
Legoshi tilted his head, his tail swishing gently behind him. “Maybe not,” he said softly, “but it’s okay if you do.”
For a moment, neither of them moved. The fading light of the evening painted the campus in warm hues, and the air between them felt heavy with unspoken words.
Finally, she sighed, her shoulders relaxing slightly. “You’re strange, Legoshi.”
He blinked. “I-I am?”
“Yes,” she said simply, her lips twitching again in that almost-smile. “But it’s not the worst thing.”
Legoshi couldn’t stop the small wag of his tail as he followed her back to the dorms, the faintest hint of hope blooming in his chest.
Maybe, he thought, some connections didn’t need words—they just needed time.

Prey vs Predator
Louis x Fem!Hybrid reader
In this you are a grey wolf snow leopard. Angst to half way good ending.
Warnings include: Implied smut, mentions of sex, Louis being a dick

I exhaled softly through my nose, watching the deer get out of the bed we had just shared. Per usual I laid there as he left without even looking back at me. Stop, I need to stop
This one was the last time. I’m a carnivore, an apex predator, he was nothing but a deer. A deer that had me in the palm of his clawless hands. This was never going to happen again.
That’s what I said last week. Tonight the room was heavy with a haunting need. One so deeply engraved it was as if it was carved into my very bones. His hands ran down from my blank stomach to my leopard spotted thighs. He traced the spots with his finger teasingly. As his hands roamed his grip went between light and thoughtful, to rough and demanding. I couldn’t help but let out a shaky breath. However, something was shaking my focus. I inhaled deeply, catching a sent different than his. It was not something, but someone that had caught my attention. The smell of a rabbit was barely prominent on his coat.
Leaving my body Louis fell to the bed, both of our heavy breaths filling up the room. We had rules, a lot of them, but the question was nagging at me. Who was this rabbit? These thoughts kept me silent and motionless, finally Louis spoke.
“Aren’t you going to leave?” He turned his head to look at me.
My heart skipped a beat when he looked at me, “Yeah,” I sat up in the bed, “actually
I was wondering, you smell like a rabbit?”
His eyes filling with anger he snapped at me, “That’s none of your business now is it?”
I rolled my eyes at him, “Whatever,” collecting my clothes I dressed swiftly and practically ran out of the room.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" I looked up to see who I had just ran into. Looking down on me on was deer with a large set of antlers. The sun cascaded over his more than slightly serious face. I quickly scrambled to my feet, brushing off my school uniform.
“It’s fine, be more careful next time,” he patted at his green jacket.
While both his tone and eyes were very simplistic there was a snobbish air about him.
“y/n,” I spoke as I looked into his eyes.
“Louis,” he extended his hand out to me which I accepted.
Shaking his hand he had a strong, firm grip. Suddenly it clicked in my head, “Aren’t you the main actor of the drama club?” Star of the show and whatever?”
“Yes that would be me.” It sounded like something that he was proud of, “Goodbye then,” he nodded to me as he walked away.
From that moment on I thought about him daily. When I showed up to drama club that same day it was not a shock to see him, though he seemed somewhat surprised to see me. What surprised him even more was that being able to look at me entirely he noticed my wolf face, but my spotted legs and wide bushy tail. Over weeks of watching him lead the club, the way he spoke, walked, carried himself
All reasons that led us up to this point. His strength and willfulness was admirable. Always being among the strongest animals in the room it was not often I felt weaker than someone. When we first slept together I’m not sure who was more shocked.
“Let’s set ground rules then,” Louie stood facing me with his arms crossed. “We both have reputations to uphold.”
I nodded in agreement, “Yes I think rules are a good idea.”
He hummed at my agreement, “First and foremost this is between you and me, no one else.”
I agreed to that before he continued to speak, “Second, no meddling in each others personal lives. There is no reason to know each other beyond this and the club.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, “You mean no small talk then? I’d prefer to know the person i’m sleeping with.”
He left out a sigh that sounded somewhat understanding, “I suppose that’s not unreasonable
” he thought for a moment, “We can get to know each other. However, you can know me; not my personal life or the things that surround it.”
I again nodded as that sounded more reasonable. He further explained some more rules such as no discussing our “situation” in public, acting as no more than acquaintances in drama club and a few other simple ones. I only had one more rule to add on.
“Either of us can call this off at any time, no questions asked,” I reached out my hand to shake on out agreement.
He thought about my rule only for a second before reaching out and firmly grabbing my clawed hand.ïżŒ
“Why are we going to the gardening club?” I looked at Legoshi whom looked back at me.
“Ah.. I wanted to visit a friend
” His tail swayed back and fourth seemingly excited but nervous.
“How come you didn’t go alone?” I questions him lightly.
“I think I want you to meet her?” He rubbed the back of his neck.
“You think?” I asked as we arrived at the club.
It was beautiful, the sun gleamed against the plants and its warmth swallowed up my fur. It smelled deliciously of flower and herbs. Another more delicious and mouth watering scent caught me by surprise. A very familiar scent of a red deer. Legoshis head dropped in concentration, obvious he had caught that same smell. I looked at him unsure of what to do, he looked back and walked over to a small building. I followed closely behind before he lifted his hand carefully to turn the knob. Before he could the door swung open causing him to yank his hand back.
There is the door way stood Louis, wide eyed, a shocked look covering his face. Behind him stood a small white rabbit.
“Legoshi?” He spoke before looking behind the wolf at me, “y/n?”
My jaw dropped and I spit words out, “Oh I uh, I forgot! Jack needed my help with..” I began backing up. “I’ll catch you later Legoshi!” I turned to leave, the second I was out of sight I sprinted away.
The rest of the day I avoided Louis the best I could. It was stupid really, it’s not like I was his girlfriend. We were just friends, hell not even friends. Then why? Why were my cheeks hot with anger? What was this wretched feeling in my stomach that made me want to hurt anyone that looked at him? A feeling of dread consumed me as I considered skipping drama club. I could run away to my dorm, but then Louie would know that I care.
Instead, I dragged myself to drama club. I would prove to not only him, but myself, that I in fact did not care who he was with! When I arrived at the club Louis was outside, with a rabbit. That same damn white little rabbit as before. She was as tiny and meek as they come. Louie brought his hand up to pat her head gently. I clenched my teeth together so hard I thought my canines would shatter, the rabbit walked away. I stood there in a towering stand of rage and jealousy. Suddenly, a hand was on my shoulder. I turned to look at whoever it was, a grey would stood towering behind me. Before he could say something I spoke up.
“Who is that rabbit from the gardening club?”
His face contorted into a mixture of shock and happiness, “That’s Haru!” He half shouted at me before slapping his hands over his mouth.
I raised an eyebrow at him, “Haru huh?”
We walked into the club together, Louis looked at me the same way he always does. I wasn’t sure if it was good that he was pretending nothing happened, or if it was the worst thing possible. Either way it’s what he was doing and I wasn’t going to contest that. Whilst the club proceeded like normal Bill was unusually flirty with. Every so often he would throw a harmless comment at me. Staring and offering more help than usual. It seemed that the others had noticed this, specifically Louie who almost looked jealous. It dawned on me that in more recent drama club news Bill had been dumped by his girlfriend not all that long ago. It was more than obvious to me that he wasn’t actually interested, he needed an ego boost. I wasn’t most inclined to be the person to help him, however it seemed as though it would benefit me. While I was never going to actually let him near me, it seemed enticing to flirt a little.
I could feel eyes burning into the back of my head. It made me nervously excited. After club had ended everyone began to back their bags and get ready to head home as the sun was setting. Just as I was about to leave Louis asked me to stay behind momentarily to discuss a few set displays with me. Without a word he locked the door after everyone was gone, he practically pounced on me. It was like I was the poor meek prey and he was like big scary predator ready to devour me whole. His hands were rough and full of greed, kisses hungry and ready to take my body as his own. After we were finished the night confirmed two things, one: I was in love with a deer, and two: I had to have him as my very own or not at all.
The choice in my mind was solidified, either Louis would commit to me or I would be leaving him forever. I could handle it if he rejected me. What I couldn’t handle is being in this position any longer. The air was cool today, clouds partially covered the sun. I had asked Louis to meet me outside behind the dorms, it was private and no one really came back here. I stood there, leaning against the brick with my heart beating out of my chest. In the distance I spotted a distinct set of antlers.
“Why did you call me here?” Louie stood right in front of me, his voice as cool as the air.
I sucked in air and my nerves along with it, “I’m
Well i’m not sure how to being this up.”
His face looked annoyed, “Would you spit it out?”
“I want to end this, our situation.” I put emphasis on situation.
He looked at me to see if I was serious, “Okay. I know it’s rule but seeing as you break them I can too. Why?”
Exactly what I had hoped for, “Because I fell in love with you.”
He thought about it for a second, “Okay.” He walked away.
While my face remained calm inside I was furious. Okay? What did he mean okay! I waited for him to walk away before I turned, punching the brick wall. It crumbled underneath my powerful hand, as well as my own bones.
“Fuck!” I shouted into the sky.
The next day my hand was wrapped and healing. My heart was still bleeding heavily and Legoshi had been nothing but questions.
“I still don’t understand why you hit that wall.” He looked at me with an empathetic look.
I sighed heavily, here’s to breaking our rules right? “I was sleeping with Louie, and when I told him I love him all he said was okay.”
Legoshi stared at me plain faced, zero expression and no word, “Legoshi?” I quipped.
He didn’t respond, still stuck in time. “Oh my god did I break you!” I grabbed his hand and yanked on it, “Wait I need someone to talk to!”
The large wolf snapped out of it, “You’ve been sleeping with Louie? WHAT.” He practically screamed at me while somehow falling out of his chair.
When he scrambled to his feet I explained everything, how we met, how we ended up sleeping together, our rules, and most importantly how I fell in love. It was then he also told me that he too had fallen in love with a herbivore.
“We’ll look at us,” I said, “Falling in love with our food.” I couldn’t help the cackling laughter that followed.
“Cosmic joke, I know.” He laughed with me.
“I guess I have to quit drama club
” I said sadly.
“What?” He asked me with a concerned tone, “You love drama club, you can’t quit because of him.”
I looked at him with defeated eyes and explained to him how I just couldn’t face Louis. He argued back, telling me I couldn’t let one person ruin my passion. I decided he was right, I couldn’t let someone ruin something I had worked so hard for. Legoshi walked with me that day, we walked in together and I put on a fake face of uncaring confidence. It was easy to ignore Louis as he had also decided to ignore me.
After drama club was over I walked out with Legoshi. He told me about how he was going to the gardening club to say hello to Haru and ask her to dinner. I watched him walk away, looking back at the door I wondered if I should go back in and face Louie alone. I had nothing more go lose so why wouldn’t I confront him? The least he could do is give me closure. I walked in together find Louie standing in the middle of the club, he looked at me before quickly looking away.
“Louis we need to talk,” I stepped closer but he didn’t move.
“Louis!” I yelled at him in a stern voice, yet again nothing.
“You are such a coward!” I turn to leave the room, it was a mistake to go back in.
A force ran up behind me, yanking my body towards him I collided with his chest
“What did you call me?” his voice was angry and his eyes looked almost on fire.
“I said you’re a coward! I told you that I loved you and you said nothing! You could’ve rejected me, gave me some sort of comfort.”
He left go of me, “Because I’m in love with you too and i’m scared!”
Both our faces dropped in shock. Louis grabbed me tightly, his hands moved to cup my cheeks as he brought me in for a passionate kiss.
When we pulled away, both breathless I was only able to utter out one sentence, “What do we do now?”
That question was answered by a series of quick pecks and my clothes being removed. Working it out physically was better than words.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were staring at yourself in the bottom-left corner of the mirror, crouched like you were hiding from your own reflection.
It wasn't like the rest of you had changed. Same face, same skin, same... everything.
Except for those. The ears. And the tail.
You ran your hand over your head for the fifth time in ten minutes, fingertips grazing your human ears where they'd always been, before trailing upward to the new set. Secondary ears, perched high on your head, covered in soft, velvety fur. They flicked lightly at your touch, like they were alive—like they could feel you.
And then there was the tail. You could feel its weight behind you, swishing gently across the floor like it had been there your whole life.
"Calm down, ____. Calm the fuck down," you muttered, your voice tight as your hands dropped into your lap. "You're not a freak. You're just—"
You paused, staring at your reflection. Your tail swished in your peripheral vision, as if taunting you.
"—just... anthropomorphically challenged," you finished, deadpan. "Yeah, no, that doesn't help."
You tilted your head, the new ears moving along with the motion, twitching at the sound of your voice echoing softly off the dorm room walls. Twitching. Like they had their own independent nervous system or something.
"Oh my gods, I'm like a walking FurryCon booth," you hissed under your breath. Your tail wagged again, making a soft thump against the floor. "Cut it out!" you snapped, glaring at it.
The tail stopped, curling slightly like it was offended.
For a moment, you just stared at yourself, breathing slow and deep, trying to will away the rising panic. But the longer you looked, the harder it was to ignore how... not normal this was.
You reached up again, brushing your fingers over the fur. Soft, velvety. Honestly, they felt kinda nice—like luxury pillow material—but that only made it worse.
You could feel the touch through the ears, every stroke and tug sending tingles down your spine, all the way to your toes.
It wasn't bad, exactly, but it wasn't something you were used to, either.
You squinted at your reflection. "Okay. Pros and cons. Pros and cons." You tapped a finger to your chin like you were about to make a PowerPoint presentation to yourself.
"Pro: I didn't, like, fully mutate. Still got my face. I'm still me. Kinda." You gave your reflection a once-over. "Con: I now look like I could be fan-casted into a BTS Hybird AU fic."
Another pause. Your tail thumped lightly again, this time like it was trying to soothe you. Oh, we're friends now? you thought bitterly.
You straightened up from your crouch, squaring your shoulders as you stared yourself down. "I'm still me. This is fine. You're fine, ____. Nobody even knows you're... this."
Except that was a lie, wasn't it? Blond Labrador Boy had seen you.
Your 'cousin' had definitely seen you, tackling you like a rugby player on the street and announcing your new school enrollment to the entire city.
And who knew how many other people were out there, casually walking around with ears and tails like this was a thing?
The thought sent a chill down your spine. Your tail swished again, making another faint thump.
"Oh, so now you're nervous too?" you hissed at it. The tail stopped mid-swish, freezing awkwardly in the air like a guilty child caught red-handed.
You sighed, finally breaking eye contact with your reflection and dropping into the chair beside your bed.
The ears twitched at the sound of faint chatter outside your door, catching snippets of distant conversations you wouldn't have been able to hear before.
It was a weird feeling, hearing things so clearly and intimately.
You groaned, flopping back against the chair. "Great. Super hearing. Now I'm a discount superhero too."
Your gaze flicked to the mirror again, to the reflection of your tail, curled awkwardly around your chair like it didn't know where it was supposed to go. It looked so out of place, just hanging there, like someone had pasted a sticker on a portrait.
"This is fine," you said again, more to convince yourself than anything. You leaned forward, running a hand through your hair and tugging gently at the ears again. They flattened slightly, and you sighed.
"Totally fine," you muttered. "I just need to figure out how the hell I ended up in a whole-ass Disney movie."
You dropped your hand, letting out a shaky breath. Your tail twitched again, brushing against your ankle like it was trying to reassure you. Yeah, sure. That's comforting.
"Okay, think," you said aloud. "I was at the pool. There were kids—too many kids. Somebody's wet-ass croc sent me flying. I hit the water. And now I'm..."
You trailed off, looking at yourself again. The reflection didn't offer answers, just more questions.
"Maybe I hit my head," you tried, your words shaky but gaining confidence as you spoke. "Yeah, that's it. Smacked it real good on the bottom of the pool. This is a concussion thing. Right? This is my brain making stuff up. Any second now, I'm gonna wake up in the shallow end with chlorine in my nose and my baddass nieces and nephews laughing at me."
The tail swished again. Your ears twitched, catching faint noises outside the door—muffled voices, footsteps, distant laughter.
"It's fine, ____," you told yourself, your tone sharper now. "You're gonna figure this out. One step at a time."
That's when you smelled it.
A soft, flowery scent filled your senses; it was faint at first but grew stronger, making your nose twitch involuntarily and your new ears perk up.
Before you could puzzle it out, a knock came at the door.
The voice was muffled but clear enough to make you freeze. Your ears caught the sound of footsteps shuffling just outside, even before the knock—a light, hesitant rhythm that matched the voice perfectly. You blinked, the scent hitting you again. Your tail twitched, matching the rhythm of your thudding heart.
"Uh, ____, your cousin Vox is waiting for you outside the dorms... he said something about beating the lunch rush?"
The voice was soft and kind of awkward, carrying an airy quality to it.
You stared at the door for a moment, your reflection forgotten. "Yeah," you called out, your voice a little higher than you wanted it to be. "I'm... Uh, thank you! I'll be right there."
"You're welcome," the voice replied, followed by the soft shuffle of footsteps retreating, the scent fading with them. You exhaled, realizing you'd been holding your breath.
"Right," you muttered to yourself, standing up and brushing your clothes down like that would somehow help you feel normal. "Pay attention later. Deal with this... whatever this is."
You froze mid-brush, cursing under your breath. "I should've asked how to get outside."
You glanced around your room, biting your lip as you remembered how confusing it had been just getting here. The winding halls and staircases that twisted in ways that didn't quite make sense.
You were pretty sure you'd passed the same painting of a sunflower three times before you finally found the door marked with your room number—901.
In the corner of your eye, you caught sight of your reflection again—this time, ears drooping slightly. You frowned, then made a face at yourself, sticking out your tongue. "Yeah, real helpful," you muttered, shaking your head before deciding to just thug it out and go.
You stepped out of your room, closing the door behind you and taking a deep breath. "Okay. Just... find the exit. How hard can it be?"
As you started walking, you quickly realized you were surrounded by others—just girls. Your eyes flicked around, taking in the different forms.
You remembered your 'cousin' rambling about gender-segregated dorms, so you chalked it up to being in the girls' dorm.
But as you kept walking, something else began to dawn on you. You weren't just surrounded by other girls; you were surrounded by other, like, carnivorous girls. Sharp eyes, pointed ears, and an aura that made the small hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
And they weren't your size. They were big—taller, broader, more imposing. Compared to them, you felt almost comically small; it was rare, only a few times did you spot someone smaller than you.
You glanced nervously at a nearby group chatting against the wall. One of them—a towering girl with long dark, glossy hair—laughed loudly, her sharp teeth catching the light. Another girl, smaller but just as intimidating, flicked a sleek, striped tail that looked distinctly feline.
You swallowed hard, your eyes darting around as you tried not to look too out of place as you walked past.
You barely noticed when you stepped outside, the warm sunlight hitting your face and momentarily distracting you from the strangeness of it all.
The building behind you was large and imposing, with a plaque above the entrance that read: Female Carnivore Dorm.
You blinked up at it, the words sinking in slowly.
Female. Carnivore. Dorm.
As you scanned the area, your eyes landed on a familiar figure standing a little way down the dorm steps. The boy from earlier—the small fox boy, Vox, if you remembered right. He was by himself, his ears perking up as soon as he spotted you.
He beamed, his tail wagging excitedly as he ran over to you, crashing into you with another hug. "I missed you so much, cuz! Can't believe you're really here! This year is gonna be so awesome!!"
He hooked an arm around you, tugging you along before you could even react. "Come on, let's meet up with the guys! We gotta beat the lunch rush!"
You barely managed a grunt in response, your arms pinned awkwardly to your sides. Despite his short stature, he was still taller than you, his enthusiasm making him feel even larger.
As you followed him, or more accurately, were dragged by him, you started noticing the others lounging around.
It was a mixture of herbivorous and carnivorous features. "...and there's a ton of clubs you can join!" your cousin rambled, oblivious to your growing unease. "I can help you pick one out later, but for now, let's just get to lunch before all the good stuff's gone!"
His voice grounded you, if only a little. You focused on his words, nodding absently as your eyes darted around the courtyard. Your stomach twisted uncomfortably, but you didn't have time to dwell on it.
Vox was still tugging you along like it was his life's mission to get you fed.
And his excitement was infectious, even if you were still reeling from everything. You couldn't help but think of your cousin Devon. The thought made your chest tighten, a flicker of warmth amid the chaos.
You hadn't seen Devon in ages—he'd always been the "fun cousin," the one who dragged you into trouble but somehow managed to charm everyone out of getting mad.
It was like the time Devon convinced you to climb a tree for the "best view ever," only to abandon you when the branch cracked. You'd sworn then to never trust his grin again, yet here you were, following another like it without question.
Vox seemingly had the same boundless energy, the same way of dragging you into things without a second thought. And as you trailed behind him, Vox's tail might have been wagging, but it was Devon's mischievous grin you saw every time Vox beamed at you.
Soon, he led you toward a small fountain surrounded by students.
The first to take notice of you two was the blond Labrador boy from earlier. He was standing at the center of a group of guys, and his floppy ears perked up as soon as he spotted you, his golden tail starting to wag in an eager rhythm that matched the bright grin on his face.
"Hey, you're okay!" he called out, stepping forward with an energy that was as disarming as it was sincere. His soft brown eyes met yours, and before you could even react, he reached out and gently patted your head, his hand light but reassuring. "I was worried after what happened earlier. You feeling alright?"
You blinked, struggling to find your words. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine," you mumbled, still processing the overly friendly gesture. His tail wagged faster for a second, his grin widening.
Before you could say more, your attention was pulled to someone else in the group.
A guy who immediately stole your breath. He was tall—easily the tallest person you'd seen all day—with broad shoulders and a relaxed, easy presence.
His dark brown skin contrasted sharply with his shaggy, platinum blonde locs that hung messily over his eyes, giving him an effortlessly cool vibe. His short, floppy ears rested close to his head, twitching slightly as he smiled at you beneath his thick eyebrows.
Everything about him radiated chill, from the slow sway of his tail to his unbothered posture.
He walked over with a casual stride, throwing an arm over the blond Labrador's shoulder. The height difference was almost comical—the Labrador barely reached his chest.
The taller guy chuckled, his voice deep but mellow. "Now what'd ya run off to, Jack?"
The Labrador boy—Jack—turned, laughing sheepishly before glancing back at you and Vox. The taller guy noticed you two as well, his gaze shifting. He smiled, one of his small canines poking out slightly, and leaned down at the waist to give Vox a high five.
"Wassup, Vox?"
Vox grinned, returning the high five with enthusiasm. "Nothin' much, Collot! Just showing my cuz around Cherryton."
He threw his arm around you again, pulling you in closer. Collot's eyes shifted to you, still bent at the waist, and he held his hand out for a handshake.
"Nice to meet ya. Name's Collot," he said, his voice warm.
You hesitated for a second before taking his hand. His grip was firm but not overwhelming, his palm warm against yours. "Uh, nice to meet you too. I'm ____," you replied, giving what you hoped was a confident smile.
Collot straightened up, still towering over you even from a distance. "Cool. Vox's been talking nonstop about ya since he found out you were coming," he said, his smile turning into a friendly grin.
You blinked, glancing at Vox, who just beamed up at you, oblivious to the embarrassment that was creeping up your neck. "Uh, yeah, well... it's my first day," you muttered, trying to laugh it off.
Jack gave you another reassuring smile, his tail wagging slowly behind him. "Don't worry. You'll fit right in." He gestured toward the group of guys behind him. "Come on, let's get you introduced."
Vox wasted no time, tugging you forward as Collot and Jack led the way.
Walking over to the group, a voice chimed up, drawing your attention to a smaller, wiry boy with reddish-brown hair that stuck out at wild angles. His sharp green eyes were quick, darting between you and Vox with a hint of amusement. He leaned slightly forward, his short, pointed ears twitching as if he were constantly on high alert.
"Who's the hottie?" he asked, his grin crooked, his eyes flicking toward Vox teasingly.
Vox's face scrunched in playful annoyance. "Aye, chill out, Durham! That's my cuz, alright?"
Durham snickered, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, just messing with ya."
Vox turned back to you, rolling his eyes. "That's Durham," he said, gesturing toward the coyote hybrid. Durham gave you a quick, crooked grin, his bushy tail flicking once as if punctuating his easygoing energy.
"Welcome to the chaos," Durham said with a playful lilt, his grin growing wider as he eyed Jack's wagging tail. "Speaking of chaos, you feeling okay after Jack's heroic rescue? His tail's still wagging—might take off soon."
"Hey!" Jack huffed, ears perking up indignantly. Durham's laugh only grew louder, his sharp teeth flashing.
Before you could even register Durham's teasing, another figure stepped into view. He was shorter than the others, with olive-toned skin and messy gray hair streaked with faint spots.
There was something almost wild about his energy. His round ears twitched frequently, and his curled tail swayed behind him like he was barely containing his own excitement. His sharp grin, revealing slightly larger-than-average teeth, was equal parts friendly and mischievous.
"Miguno," Vox said, introducing the spotted hyena hybrid. Miguno gave you a toothy grin, leaning casually against Collot as he waved.
"Good to see someone new around here. Don't mind the chaos—Durham's worse than me," he said, his sharp teeth flashing as his grin grew even wider. Something about his energy was electric, like he thrived on the group's chaos.
"Lies," Durham shot back, but his grin betrayed his amusement.
The rapid-fire introductions had your head spinning. Each name and face blurred together, their personalities hitting you one after another like a whirlwind you couldn't escape.
And then... you saw him.
Lanky and pale, with shaggy bluish-gray hair streaked with cream highlights, the wolf hybrid stood slightly apart from the others. His posture was hunched, his long limbs curling inward as if he were trying to take up less space.
His dark, almond-shaped eyes flickered to the group occasionally, but he mostly kept his gaze low, avoiding their chatter, his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve.
His drooping ears twitched faintly, responding to the noise around him, and his long, scruffy tail swayed low, mirroring his awkward demeanor.
Your gaze lingered on him. Something about the way he carried himself felt off—not in a bad way, just... different.
The others were loud, energetic, owning their space. But this one? He was quiet, reserved, like he didn't want to be noticed.
Why does he seem so familiar? you thought, a strange sense of dĂ©jĂ  vu bubbling up, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. It was like you'd seen him before, but only in a dream—or maybe in the back of your mind, in some long-buried memory.
"Legoshi," Jack said, nudging the wolf with a friendly grin. "Say hi."
The name hit you like a freight train. Your breath caught as your mind scrambled to make sense of what you were seeing.
Legoshi.
Your heart thudded in your chest as pieces began to click together faster than you could stop them. Carnivores. Cherryton. Jack. Vox. Legoshi.
This can't be real. This can't—
The group's chatter seemed to fade as your pulse roared in your ears.
Am I in fucking Beastars?

Time seemed to blur after that revelation. One moment, you were standing by the fountain, and the next, you found yourself sitting at a lunch table.
The chatter of the cafeteria buzzed around you, the noise overwhelming—students chatting, utensils clinking, chairs scraping against the floor—but it all felt distant, like you were watching a scene play out from behind soundproof glass.
You stared blankly at the plate in front of you, slowly picking at your food—a sad, slightly overcooked egg that seemed to mock you in its mediocrity.
Vox and his friends filled the space around you, their energy bouncing back and forth like a rubber ball in a crowded room. You could hear Collot laughing loudly at something Miguno said, Durham snickering along, while Jack chimed in with his soft-spoken voice. But none of it really registered.
Your mind was too busy running a mile a minute, trying to process the impossibility of your situation.
I'm not a furry, you thought, stabbing a piece of egg with your fork. I mean, sure, I dabbled in a fanfic or two, but this? This is insane.
You glanced around the cafeteria, taking in the sight of students with human bodies but animal features—ears, tails, fur, scales. The way they moved, the way they interacted—it was surreal.
The low murmur of a nearby conversation caught your ear—too clear, too distinct. A girl with glossy feline ears leaned over her tray, whispering something to her friend. Her tail swayed lazily behind her, the fur shimmering in the sunlight.
It should've been normal—or at least as normal as anything else here—but you couldn't look away.
Before you realized it, her sharp gaze flicked to you, catching your eye for half a second. Her pupils narrowed slightly, and a wave of heat surged up your neck as you quickly averted your gaze, your heart thudding in your chest.
Smooth, you thought bitterly, stabbing at the egg again. Real subtle.
The pressure of trying to seem normal began to creep up your spine, making your ears flick involuntarily. It felt like the entire cafeteria could see you, like every twitch of your tail screamed, "I don't belong here." You squeezed your eyes shut, willing yourself to blend in.
Beastars is supposed to be set in a world of anthropomorphic animals, you mused, peeking open your eyes to watch the girl turn back to her friend, her feline features utterly unbothered. So what the hell is this?
It was absurd, like something out of a fever dream. And yet, here you were, surrounded by them.
Is this really Beastars?
Your thoughts were interrupted by a gentle nudge. You looked up to see Jack smiling at you, his tail wagging slightly.
"Hey, ____," he said, his voice friendly. "How was your old school? Was it anything like Cherryton?"
You blinked, your fork pausing mid-air. Old school?
Panic clawed at the back of your throat. How were you supposed to answer that? You didn't even know what your supposed background was supposed to be. And Vox was sitting right next to you. If you lied, he could easily call you out.
Before you could stammer out a response, Vox chimed in, saving you from your predicament.
"Oh, she was homeschooled," he said casually, taking a bite of his sandwich. "So she might not be as used to all this social stuff yet, you know?"
You let out a breath you hadn't realized you were holding, grateful for Vox's quick thinking. Thank god, you thought. This is perfect. I can roll with that.
You offered a sheepish smile, nodding along, the tiniest smirk tugging at the corner of your lips. "Yeah, it's... a bit overwhelming," you admitted, your voice a bit shaky, trying to sell the homeschooled bit as much as you could.
No need to drag out fake stories about classmates, teachers, or what electives you took back in the "real" world. You could just sit back and let the homeschool excuse handle all the heavy lifting.
In your head, though, the real story was much messier. You weren't homeschooled—far from it. You knew nothing about homeschooling beyond what you read in books and saw on TV; public school had been your playground and battleground.
You'd seen it all: hallway fights over nothing, the chaos of pep rallies, and those awkward group projects where you did 90% of the work.
But here? In this place, wherever the hell this was? Yeah, let's call it a coma. The pool, the slip, the whole "falling into another world" thing? It had all the makings of a good old-fashioned knock to the head.
I'm in a hospital somewhere, you told yourself, hooked up to a machine while a nurse complains about understaffing. This? This is just the brain doing brain shit.
And hey, if this was a dream, then maybe all you had to do was play along until you woke up.
But whatever it was, you decided to roll with it. You didn't have many options.
Homeschool, huh? you thought. I've seen those documentaries—unsocialized weirdos trying to find their way in the world, eating lunch alone because they don't know what the word "lit" means. You snorted softly. I can fake that if I have to.
"Hey, ____." Jack pulled you back to the conversation once again; his golden tail was wagging hard now, almost as if it had a mind of its own.
"Huh?" you asked, blinking at him.
"I said, don't worry about not being good with talking to people. We'll help you out!" His voice was so genuinely optimistic it made your chest tighten.
You were about to reply when a snicker broke the moment.
It came from one of the boys—Durham. His shoulders were shaking as he laughed, pointing lazily in Jack's direction. "By we, he means himself," the coyote said, grinning. "You know how Jack gets. Tail's wagging harder than a windshield wiper in a thunderstorm. Bet he's already got a crush."
The group erupted into laughter, and Jack's face turned a deep shade of red.
"W-What?! No!" Jack stammered, his ears twitching erratically as his tail kept wagging despite his obvious embarrassment. "That's not— I didn't mean it like that!"
Miguno burst into laughter, leaning forward to nudge Jack's shoulder. "Aw, c'mon Jack, don't be shy! We all saw how you were wagging your tail earlier, like a little puppy."
Vox, ever the instigator, patted Jack on the shoulder with a wide, toothy grin. "Yeah, relax, buddy. She's just my cousin. You don't have to marry her."
You nearly choked on your own breath, the absurdity of the situation hitting you like a freight train. "Wait, what?" you managed to say, but your voice was drowned out by more laughter from the group.
Jack covered his face with both hands, muttering something under his breath that you couldn't catch. His tail, however, kept wagging wildly, betraying every bit of his flustered state.
"Alright, alright, chill," you said, holding up a hand to quiet the chaos. "Let the man breathe before he combusts."
Durham and Miguno both chimed in with their own apologies, their expressions a mix of sheepishness and amusement.
"Yeah, our bad," Durham said, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "We were just messing around."
Miguno nodded, his tail flicking behind him. "Didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, really. Just having a bit of fun."
Jack peeked out from behind his hands, his cheeks still pink, but he managed a sheepish smile. "Thanks," he mumbled, avoiding your gaze.
You raised an eyebrow at him, fighting back a grin, trying to ignore the heat creeping up your own cheeks. "No worries," you said, your voice a little softer.
This whole situation was ridiculous, but at least it was entertaining.
As the laughter died down, Vox leaned toward you, his smile as mischievous as ever. "See? Told you we'd help you fit in. You're already the life of the party."
You rolled your eyes but couldn't help the small smile that crept onto your face.
The group continued chatting, the conversation drifting to topics like classes, clubs, and campus drama. You mostly kept to yourself, occasionally nodding along or giving short answers when prompted.
For a moment, the weirdness of everything—the ears, the tails, the everything—faded into the background.
It was surreal, like something out of a story—but it was real. As real as the egg on your plate.
And for now, you had no choice but to roll with it.
But in the back of your mind, the same thoughts kept circling.
How long am I gonna be here? And how the fuck am I going to survive it?
Whatever this was—dream, coma, or insanity—you'd have to figure it out. But for now, blending in would have to do.
One step at a time, you told yourself. Don't drown...again.

Could you write the Yandere Alphabet for Louis (Beastars)?
Sure! Only seen the Anime to bear with me here ^^;
Yandere Alphabet - Louis
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Unhealthy coping mechanisms, Possessive behavior, Trauma, Clingy behavior, Blood, Murder, Violence, Overprotective behavior, Kidnapping, Forced relationship.
Tumblr media
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Louis would feel very... complicated towards his obsession. He's arrogant and has a ton of self-loathing due to his past. As a result, he tends to hate relying on other animals.
So, when it comes to you, Louis isn't sure what to think.
Louis is shown to be kind and caring to those he likes, even if he struggles with relationships. With his obsession he'd definitely be as respectful as he can. He no doubt thinks he shouldn't pursue you...
Yet as all obsessions go... You stay in his mind and it makes him conflicted.
Louis would start by being distant, although his affection later on would be close. You'd probably be like an unhealthy coping mechanism for Louis, making him stick around you.
In terms of how intense? He may not seem like it... but I can see him as pretty intense, especially as the leader of the Shishigumi.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Considering how he hates to show weakness, I can see Louis getting his hands dirty due to his obsession. He's used to guns and has killed before due to being in the Shishigumi. If someone pushed him into a vulnerable state, threatened you or tried to take you from him...
He may be unstable enough to pull the trigger for his own selfish benefit... under the guise of protecting you.
Afterwards... He can't help but notice it makes him feel stronger.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
I feel his behavior depends on if you're an herbivore or carnivore. If you're a carnivore, he would mock you at times yet still cares about you enough to meet your every need. If you're an herbivore, he forgoes mocking entirely.
I feel Louis would have a higher chance of kidnapping if he was part of the Shishigumi. He has lions under his control and can simply order that you're looked after. He'd make sure you get the food you want and have a comfortable place to stay.
He doesn't care how comfortable he is... He wants you well cared for, even if he tries to be stoic. Having you safe beside him soothes him.
Even if you panic, cry, scream... He couldn't let you go if he tried.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
I feel Louis could go either way. I imagine he doesn't want to stress you or make you hate him on purpose. Yet at the same time... He's assertive and can't seem to be away from you for long.
He's only vulnerable with you, while he hates being vulnerable at all, he knows he loves you too much to push you away fully.
I imagine there's things he'll force, like who you can speak to or where you should stay. However, if he deems it safe, Louis would give you freedoms. Monitored, of course.
He doesn't like the idea of keeping you fully as a prisoner too much unless you try to leave him.
Too close to home.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
At first, barely any at all. He hates being weak. Even more so when he resents his obsession for making him... obsessed and reliant.
However, eventually Louis will end up being... very vulnerable with you in private. Privacy with you allows Louis to cope. In fact, he realizes you're better than any drug he can take.
He likes to lay against you, bury himself in your scent, and just sit there. He wants you to hold him. He wants your attention on him, all to himself, for as long as possible.
While he's stoic and hostile in public. Even intimidating and protective around you. In private...
In private he'd kill just to have you look at him with affection... not fear, pity, or rage.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Irritated. You fighting him and his feelings makes his insecurities flare. You fighting him stresses him... and he'll do anything to make you stop.
Be that bribes, threats, restraints, or pressuring you... He wants you to listen to him. He knows he shouldn't force your affections, that it isn't healthy.
Yet Louis is impatient... and full of fear for what could happen when he loses you...
He understands why you're upset with him, after all he's done...
He just hopes you'll understand why he has to be so forceful at some point.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Not really and he'd hate you trying to escape.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
When it comes to Louis and his character... I can think of a few things.
Such as, seeing him shoot someone in front of you for one reason or another. Another could be having the Shishigumi kidnapping you for him. That or even the isolation he forces you into just to soothe his own trauma... not daring to ask anyone else for help.
One way or another, you will see the top student deer covered in blood most likely not his own... all while he takes you away from the society you once thought you knew...
Just so he can drown out his insecurities in you...
Just so he can "love" you.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Hard to say for him considering he still has an arranged marriage technically. However, with how you make him feel by the peak of his obsession, Louis would rather have you as his spouse. You just seem to... take his stress away.
He's reliant on you, even if he never wanted to be.
You are his stress relief, his guilty pleasure, one way or another he'll find a way to make you his...
That's the only future he wants.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Louis does get jealous, yes. He's jealous of the power carnivores have and jealous that Legoshi treats Haru so much better than he could. So... when he sees you off with someone else? Smiling, laughing, happy...
He may just lash out.
He wants that attention, that look you give...
He wants you... needs you...
Hopefully he'll have you soon.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
He's obsessive, clingy in private, possessive yet tries to pass it off as protective... Louis needs you like he needs air to breathe.
When he first met you, he never wanted to admit it, but his addiction to you and your soothing scent...
He's desperate and he hates it.
When he takes you into the Shishigumi, he's vulnerable in private... yet in front of his lions he tries to be as possessive as a carnivore.
Louis is an herbivore who will try to be as intimidating as a carnivore... but in private with you?
He's still the vulnerable deer he hates to be... holding you in his arms even if you hate to be there.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
I would think you both meet at Cherryton. Originally you don't associate much because he's the popular student at school. Yet eventually, fate brings you together, be that due to Tem's murder, drama club, or helping him in some other way.
If you're a carnivore, Louis originally looks at you with disdain. If you're an herbivore, he still tries to be distant, yet appreciates your presence. Louis doesn't like to rely on others, as said before.
However, when he tries to push you out of his mind, the thought of you doesn't leave.
This would make Louis hate his obsession for being so distracting. You make him feel weak and vulnerable... so he blames you. You don't deserve suffering for his feelings... yet it doesn't stop there.
After that he soon begins to realize he needs you. Even more so when he's with the Shishigumi for months. He hates to ask for help...
But you mean a lot to him.
Maybe you showed you cared for him but he always took it for granted or pushed you away? Maybe he realizes he shouldn't have been so harsh on you? Either way... Louis realizes he needs you.
You make his pain go away...
Which leads into him falling into his obsession, once again making you suffer due to his unchecked emotions.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
In public, he tries to act the same with everyone. In private, he's vulnerable with you because he trusts you as his coping mechanism... his beloved whom he wants to rely on...
His.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
I imagine isolation or something psychological. Something that forces you to need him as much as he needs you. I can't see him physically harming his obsession normally.
There's no need for that in his eyes.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
He wants you to have your freedoms, but isn't afraid to... "limit your options" by keeping you isolated within the Shishigumi.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
Louis is mostly patient... but if you push his buttons in a certain way, like threaten him or try to leave...
That quickly drains his patience.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
I... imagine not. He knows he should move on, he has to move on... but he was so reliant... so attached....
He probably will eventually... yet the thought of you weighs pretty heavily on him.
You never leave his mind... and he's never the same.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
A little but he most likely won't let you go. He knows he should... but he can't.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Most likely trauma... unfortunately. He's lived without genuine love for most of his life. Now he's going to crave it once he feels it.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
A small part of him feels guilty he's using you... all while he attempts to console you. Another part of him is frustrated you keep doing this and won't accept him. He needs to either be patient or let you go...
Both options are hard...
But he knows deep down he isn't ever going to let you go on his own.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
SKIPPED.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Good behavior I assume, reciprocating his affections and soothing him. Maybe trying to convince him to do the right thing and let you go if he truly loves you... That you'll come back to see him soon.... The issue is, if you try to trick him, he does have help and most likely will catch you.
However... play your cards right... and you may be able to taste a little bit of freedom for a while... until he finds you.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Not intentionally.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Not a worship yandere... entirely. Yet he'd go to great lengths to keep you by his side. He needs you... and he's determined to have you need him too.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
I imagine it would be after a few months, maybe almost a year, before he finally gives up and realizes he needs you.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Unintentionally.

How would the Shishigumi react to meeting thier significant others family for the holidays? Well might as well write a headcanon about it! ( I also included Louis) Enjoy!
Meeting your family for the holidays
Ibuki
Just thinking about meeting your family makes him nervous.
He'll probably bring a gift for your parents as to make a good first impression.
Hell definitely dress nicely for the occasion and will clip his nails as short as possible.
When you get their he's very tense and nervous and trys to hide it.
Once he starts talking with your family he becomes much more calm and happy.
You're family will be all over him and ask many questions that you might have to help Ibuki with.
You might have to remind him of everyone's names and who people are too.
Free
He's very nervous, and trys his hardest to avoid going entirely.
Hell try making excuses like, "I'm not feeling great babe" or "I've got a work thing tonight".
Once you convince him to go he'll try to dress nicely but you might have to help him out a bit.
When you arrive Free's much more nervous than before but your family will be very welcoming of him.
He'll be very talkative and your family will love him almost as much as you do.
He quickly becomes the star of the show.
Dolph
He isn't nervous about meeting your family but he definitely is thinking about it a lot.
He doesn't want to mess this up because your so important to him.
He'll probably bring a bottle of wine for the dinner (preferably red wine).
Some of his family may ask about his scar wh ih can make him feel a bit self conscious.
You might have to help him deflect there questions.
Agata
He's nervous with out a doubt and has a hard time hiding it from you.
He'll over think a lot so you'll definitely have to reassure him He'll be okay.
Once you get their he's still very nervous and when he starts talking to your family he's still a bit nervous.
You might have to do a little more talking for him than when your family asks questions.
Miguel
He tries to not stress himself or you out when getting ready to meet your family by not thinking about it too much.
Like most lions he prides himself on his mane and makes it very nice for the dinner
When you get their Miguel introduces himself to everyone.
The more he talks to your family the more he gets nervous but is very good at hiding it.
During th dinner he might be shaking his foot due to his nerves.
You might have to take him out for a bit of a break here and there.
Sabu
He's quite nervous about meeting g your family mainly due to his bandana.
He tries his best to remember everyone's names before getting to your family's place.
When you do arrive you Sabu tries to talk a lot with your family to get to know them.
He does get a few questions from your family about his bandana to which he tries his best to avoid.
If your family member is a bit pushy about the bandana you might have to step in.
Jinma
He's more excited than nervous when thinking about meeting your family.
He decides to bring gifts for your family as to show that he cares about this very much.
He doesn't really have any reason to be nervous.
When you get their Jinma tries to at least talk to everyone their once or twice.
He also helps set up the table.
Dope
He tries to keep his feelings of nervousness under control and is pretty successful.
He does talk to you about these feelings and confronts them head on with you.
When you arrive at your family's place Dope tries to help your family with the dinner
Whether its cooking, cleaning, setting up the table, he would help with anything.
Like Sabu He does get a lot of questions about his scar but is able to easily deflect them.
Hino
Unlike most of the Shishigumi hes not nervous at all.
He makes himself as presentable as possible which doesn't take him very long due to his already great looks.
When you get their your family will be astonished by his looks.
Because he uses his social skills so much for work your family will love him instantly.
Your family will definitely want to take as many photos of him as they can.
They'll definitely compare Hinos looks to celebritys.
Louis
He be a bit nervous but he'll be able to deal with it much better than others.
Like Ibuki he'll bring a gift for your family and expect it to be quite fancy.
Because of his well known status your family will be all over him and ask many questions.
He'll be very polite and courteous when talking with your family.
He'll really enjoy meeting your family and even tell you so.

Desculpa a demora đŸ˜¶
Momento engraçado
Tumblr media
VocĂȘ observou a cena e acompanhou as risadas.

This here makes me want to make a snake of sooo much bro, maybe I'll do one
Legoshi, Haru, Louis with a Snake
S/O
Was this a request?: No
Reader is gn
Tumblr media
Legoshi
At first he was surprised
Another snake? I thought Ms. Six eyes was the only snake at this school
Initially thinks you're related to Ms. Six eyes when you first introduced yourself to him
You're not quite sure how when Ms. Six eyes is a rattlesnake and you're a rat snake but you dismiss it as a simple mistake
The two of you actually get along well when you actually become friends
While you're not as big as Ms. Six eyes you can still comfortably wrap around him when you two cuddle
You ended up confessing to him after trying to send signals only to reach a dead end
You knew he felt the same way when his tail started wagging a million miles am hour
Now that both of you were officially dating he's a lot more shy and awkward about mentioning you to his friends
There's been some weird interspecies relationships
But a snake and a grey wolf? Never heard of
You manage to convince him to tell his friends that you guys are dating
You love it when he lays on you, makes you all nice and warm
Haru
You decided to join the gardening club as you loved to work in your parents garden when you were young
That's when you meet Haru
This is actually the first time she's seen a snake irl
She knows there are snakes in Japan but she never expected to meet one in person
You two bond instantly over your love for gardening
She knows you will eventually find out about how she's slept with a bunch of guys but she hopes it doesnt ruin the friendship
You do find out but you don't care one bit
You've always been an outsider as well, you know how it feel to get weird stares and bullied
She was very open about her feelings for you
You were relieved that she felt the same way
Both of you figured to keep the relationship a secret since how taboo it is
You agree to let Haru tell her closest friends, Louis and Legoshi, about you
They are extremely supportive but slightly confused at how a snake and a rabbit fell in love.
She likes to sit on you after a long day
You dont mind since she's so light
She joins you when you sunbathe in an open area
Louis
It's a very interesting story how you two meet
You were having a difficult time trying to sell you products on the black market due to the fact you couldn't properly butcher meat
So you bought the scraps and bones from other stands and shops on slower days
But since you didn't make much of a profit to both payback the shops you brought from and own your own shop you couldn't live comfortably
The shishigumi ended up helping you with your business
Louis was intrigued that you ran a business to help carnivores who didn't have enough money to buy chunks of meat
He was also intrigued by the fact you were a snake
The shishigumi did end up helping you by supplying you with enough fresh meat that your business could start gaining traction
After the help your shop started booming, you could afford to buy meat from morgues and hospitals as well as making cheap soup
Louis wasn't done with you, he wanted to know more about you
He had invited you to go drinking with him just to talk some more without Ibuki or anyone else listening in
After that first meeting lead to many many more, you became friends with Louis
It took quite a while for him to accept his feelings for you
When he did finally confess he was very blunt about it
The shishigumi obviously knows but they don't really care, as long as you're not trying to eat their boss
He loves to hug you and hold you close to him when in private bewear of the antlers tho
You secretly buy him vegetables so he doesnt starve himself

The summer sun was hot as it shone down, beating relentlessly on the over-crowded public pool.
You sucked your teeth in annoyance, shifting on the edge of the pool where you'd been perched for what felt like an eternity.
Kids ran wild, yelling and splashing without a care, their tiny feet pounding on the slick concrete, almost slipping every time they turned a corner too sharply.
You couldn't help but flinch each time one of them ran too close, kicking up water that sprayed in your direction.
The constant nudging and the unending splashes were starting to grate on your patience.
You felt droplets of water continuously flicked onto your legs, each one colder than the last, and it took everything in you to not growl under your breath.
You were here because you'd bitten your tongue earlier and agreed to babysit your niece and nephews while your sister went grocery shopping. Free of charge, might you add.
It wasn't even that she asked nicely—it was more like you felt the weight of her tired eyes and the desperation in her voice, and before you knew it, you found yourself nodding and watching her rush out the door.
The one thing that made it bearable was the promise of her buying your little snack list as payment, but the longer you sat there, the more those snacks seemed not worth it.
The sound of another big splash brought you back to the present, a wave of water washing up over your legs, some of it splattering onto your shorts.
You sucked your teeth again, this time louder, and decided you'd had enough.
"Yup, I'm about to dip," you muttered to yourself, pushing off the pool's edge.
You weaved your way toward the crowded pool chairs, squeezing through the narrow paths between towels and bags until you made it to your family's little space.
Your aunt was watching from under an oversized sun hat, and one of your nieces sat beside her, eyes glued to your phone screen as some YouTube video blared.
"Hey, sweetheart, can you hand Tee-Tee her phone real quick?" you called out, trying to keep your voice as gentle as possible despite your growing irritation.
The little girl looked up, blinking at you, and then obediently handed the phone over.
You smiled at her, genuinely happy she listened.
She was one of the good ones, you thought sourly, the kind of kid that didn't make you want to rip your hair out. If it had been any of the others, they probably would've thrown the phone into the pool in a fit of rage.
With the phone in hand, you quickly shot off a message to your sister:
𝐋𝐈𝐋 𝐒𝐈𝐒 Sorry, too many kids around, my ass is starting to itch. Deuces.
You didn't even bother waiting to see if she'd read it. Whatever she had to say, it could wait until you were far, far away from the chlorine and chaos.
Pocketing your phone, you told your aunt and niece bye, promising you'd see them tomorrow for family dinner.
Your aunt waved you off absentmindedly, ogling at some shiftless, buff lifeguard on duty through her binoculars; from where she got them, you had no fucking clue.
You rolled your eyes, grabbed your stuff, and began making your way out.
A moment later, you were nudged by a running kid, and you nearly fell into the pool but caught yourself just in time.
You called after the child, "Slow the hell down, you fucking crotch goblin!" huffing before turning back to leave, only to slip on someone's wet croc and fall backward into the pool.
The cold water hit you like a slap. For a second, everything was a blur of chlorine and light refracting through the surface.
But what should have been a normal kick and push back up to the surface was delayed, not only by the overcrowded surface but by your waterlogged bag tugging you down, dragging you deeper.
You opened your eyes underwater, the sharp sting of chlorine burning them instantly. Panic set in as you struggled to pull off your bag, your arms flailing in the heavy water.
Your lungs burned, screaming for air, and you kicked harder, almost breaking the surface, almost tasting the chlorine-soaked air.
But the chaos above—the kicking legs, the waves—pushed you back down, the pressure growing in your chest.
The muffled shouts and splashes from above seemed distant, distorted by the water, like you were in some other dimension entirely.
The pressure on your chest grew, the heavy weight of your bag pulling you deeper, and you kicked harder, desperate to reach the surface.
But no matter how hard you fought, the surface seemed just out of reach—so close, yet the world above felt like it was slipping away.
The chlorine-soaked water filled your senses, sharp and chemically, burning the back of your throat as panic set in. You thrashed, trying to tear off your bag, your arms sluggish and heavy.
And just when your vision began to blur with darkness, something changed.
The water's cold grip vanished.
Your lungs didn't burn. The pressure in your chest evaporated.
You blinked...
... and opened your eyes.
The light came back.
The sound, taste, smell, and touch—it all came back.
The sound hit you first—not muffled and distorted anymore, but sharp and loud. The blare of honking horns, the distant buzz of conversations, the whoosh of a passing bus.
Your eyes adjusted to a new scene, sunlight flickering through tall buildings instead of the pool's glistening surface.
You were on the curb, your body pressed against warm pavement that was a far cry from the frigid pool water.
The smell of chlorine had been replaced with something foreign—a mix of gasoline, hot asphalt, and street food.
Your damp skin clung uncomfortably to the fabric of your clothes, but it wasn't the soggy, heavy sensation of being underwater.
It was just... hot. Sweaty. Real.
You blinked again, trying to take everything in—the movement, the noise, the overwhelming presence of this place.
A yellow cab zipped by, honking loudly at a pedestrian. Your head jerked back, face scrunching up in confusion.
A cab?
The air here was different too—thick with city smells, far from the sharp, sterile bite of chlorine.
The ground beneath you wasn't cool and slick like the pool's edge; it was rough, heated by the sun, and every nerve in your body screamed that something was wrong.
Your eyes scanned the scene around you. The towering buildings, the bustling people, the blur of colors as everyone moved with purpose.
Okay... this is definitely not the pool.
A strange sinking feeling began settling in your stomach.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you like that, didn't see you there, haha!" a voice cut through your thoughts.
You looked up, your eyes focusing on the person in front of you—a blond boy, maybe in his late teens. He had warm, honey-brown eyes that seemed to glint playfully in the sunlight, and honestly, he was kind of cute.
The way his eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled made him look approachable, even charming.
But what made you falter were the two fluffy ears on top of his head—golden Labrador ears.
He was dressed in casual clothing and spoke with a friendly smile, as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
You stared at him for a moment, trying to understand what you were seeing.
At first, your instinct was to put as much distance between you and the strange hybrid Labrador in front of you as quickly as possible. But you hesitated, not wanting to make a scene.
Your mind raced, trying to calculate if you could get away without drawing attention—maybe find the nearest phone booth and dial up the US' Area 51 unit or something.
Instead, you gave—what you hoped—was a sweet smile, saying, "No worries, I'm fine." All those years laboring away as a server had finally paid off in moments like this.
It seemed to work because the Labrador's tail began wagging happily from side to side, his whole demeanor brightening. "Oh man, I'm so glad you're okay! You really took quite the tumble there," he said with a nervous chuckle. "Here, let me help you up," he added, reaching out a hand.
Before you could even decline, the dog-boy easily picked you up, cradling you in one arm like you weighed nothing.
Wait...
Horror struck you as you realized just how small you were compared to the hybrid-man.
You were nearly three times smaller than him. His arm felt like a steel beam against your back, and his strength was undeniable, his tail wagging all the while.
The man's golden Labrador ears fell slightly, his tail going still as he noticed your horrified expression at being picked up.
He hastily apologized, setting you down as gently as possible, his face flushed. "Oh geez, I'm really sorry about that. It's just—second nature, you know? My roommate's a fennec fox, and he's always needing a hand," he rambled, clearly nervous.
His words were abruptly cut off when you heard someone call out, "____!"
Your ears twitched, and your head swiveled towards the sound. The voice was a bit deep, carrying a warmth.
Before you knew it, a small tan figure dashed over and crashed into you in a tight hug. The impact almost knocked the breath out of you, but the boy's jolly laughter softened the surprise.
"I missed you so much, cuz! I can't believe you finally transferred to Cherryton!" he exclaimed, excitement radiating off of him.
When he pulled back, you took in the sight of a cute, tan boy. He had dark, curly hair, and his crooked teeth were visible as he smiled broadly. On top of his head were two large light brown ears, twitching slightly.
You blinked, staring at him, unsure how to react.
Then, your gaze drifted over his shoulder, taking in the numerous human-animal hybrids walking around as if everything was normal.
Slowly, your eyes lowered to your own figure, and you finally noticed—felt—a small, rhythmic thump against the back of your upper thighs.
Turning your head slightly, you saw a small black tail.
What the fuck...
