Post about a favorite project of YOURS! (story, edit, artworks, etc)♥
I still have a soft spot in my heart for Awaken
especially LoGil's story - the first generation. I love the Grant Legacy as well but I don't think any sim story is ever going to replace LoGil for me. lol

on a separate note, one of my pictures made her sims fandom page! https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Lotta_Greaves

📨 Random simblr question (for the ts3 simmers) of the day: What’s your favorite premade world?
Bridgeport is my favorite ❤️
Everything about it is just so lively and detailed. I love the whole 'modern city dwellers meet centuries-old vampires' aspect of the world, plus it's a city and I love cities! The premades are so charming and attractive; their backstories are all interesting (even the ghosts!), and everybody has beef with somebody. When I first got into Sims 3, I always played in Bridgeport.❤️

Lotta Greaves Makeover 👻
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello, hello! I'm back with another makeover!
Today we have a sim recommended for me to makeover, Lotta Greaves! She's another ghost sim but she's from Bridgeport and no one knows how she died, Just like Lolita... weird.
Anyway, she's friends with Ebenezer and Vladimir, which gave me a wild theory... What if Vladimir and her was a thing and she was taken out because of the vampire thing that's happening in Bridgeport?
I don't know if that's true but, hey that's just a theory...
Anyhoo, enjoy!
This Here Package contains: 1 Ghost Of Bridgeport's Past.
P.S, They should come with the CC used.
but if they don't, here are some links of the stuff I could find.
Hair 1 | Hair 2 | Hair 3 | Outfit 1 | Outfit 2 | Necklace | Eyes | Eyelashes | Eyelash Slider | Skin |
Anything I missed was due to the fact that I've had some of this CC since 2018 and I cannot find it, or pure laziness 😅
I don’t remember where I got all this CC, but a ton of it should be on my CC reblog account @ohcrapitsccfinds so head on over there for some CC!
Thanks to all the CC creators whose CC I used, ya’ll are grand and I love your work!

Bitchin
So this lady (I do not know her name, this is purely like, a cold read)
Tumblr media
I really like this armor and how grounded it feels relative to other equipment I've seen from this series lol
More details below
I really like the armor of the legs and how it ends at the poleyns (knees), giving way to boots. I like that especially because among armored fighters historically those who weren't fighting on horseback would quite often forgo the typical greaves and sabatons we associate with fully armored knights, since there's not a lot of instances in battle where anyone is aiming below the knee tbh
(The only one I can think of off the dome that does is a halberd technique where you hook the head of it on your opponent's ankle and yank it to trip 'em up, but tbh I don't think armor would really help you against that lol)
Still, the lack of greaves and sabatons implies to me that our mystery fighter is accustomed to fighting on foot rather than mounted, and the general lighter vibe of the whole set kinda locks in for me that she's most likely someone who travels a fair amount, and has modified her armour to reduce as much weight as she can
There's an interesting addition of leather vambraces overtop the metal gauntlets, further tying into the general Vibe above, I don't really have anything to say other than that I think the mixing of materials is pretty nifty, I think
The chainmaille on her arms kind of perplexed me a little bit, since most plate armors that encorporated chain would use it to cover the armpits and other joints, since it's notoriously hard to armor those with anything else. Using the maille to cover only the outside of her arms feels odd since she's already got the plates for that, but I guess when you're fighting giant dinosaurs and shit it makes a little more sense since I don't imagine them really going for the weak points in someone's armor. Maybe the layers help more for that? Idk
The armor on her torso feels very lacking, and appears to be literally just an arming jacket. I personally wouldn't want to go into battle with just that since all my favourite organs are in my general torso area and I'd want to keep them protected, but I suppose alongside tying into that "Lighter armor for travel" vibe mentioned earlier that it also speaks to the confidence this person has in their abilities? Or maybe they just can't afford a breastplate who knows lol
The placement of her gorget confused me somewhat initially, in a "Girl why are you wearing your gorget under your arming jacket" kinda way. I was especially confused as to how the pauldrons were attached since in a lotta armor they often they attach to the gorget, and that made me wonder like, did she cut a hole in the jacket to feed a buckle through? But upon looking a little closer her pauldrons have laces on them, implying they're tied to the jacket, not necessarily the gorget. Definitely a really cool detail I think!
... Though it does kinda look a little off, since the pauldrons stick out so far it kinda makes me wonder how long those laces are or if the shoulders of the jacket are extra padded to compensate. That said, I think the extra broad shoulder armor does a fantastic job in the character design sense for contributing to a powerful sort of "strong looking" silhouette so I can't really complain
Still though, like come on with the gorget. I get wanting to have that stylish popped collar look, but like, idk I imagine you could try to feed the collar through the neck hole and get the same effect? Idk though
Always love when armor designs incorporate little bags and pouches on the hips, lovely touch there, no notes
Not super sure what the thigh straps are supposed to be doing exactly, but out of respect for Namari Dungeonmeshi I won't rag on them lol
I like the extra little flashes of flair on the pauldrons, with the little rivets, the fluting, and the little extra details are really nice, flowing quite smoothly into the embossed leather detailing on her jacket. It's a nice touch!
To be honest I think the cuisees (thigh armor) and poleyns are my favourite part of this armor design, idk why I just like the shapes lol but if I had to nitpick I think they could probably go up a little further, but it's far from a deal breaker for me tbh
I do think alongside some chest protection she could do with like, a chain skirt or some tassets or something to protect the general sorta groin/upper thigh area, but I also get that's not the vibe the character designers are going for so I can let it slide lol
Overall I think it's a really solid design! She definitely carries the vibe of someone who travels around fighting monsters for glory and/or pay, and is damn confident in her ability to do her job (or is poor)
And well it's pretty far from what I personally would wear if I were a traveling monster slayer, I think it's a pretty cool costume design and I like it! Strikes a good balance between fantasy and practicality for me 👍
There's also a weird sorta prince charming vibe in there too, with the dashing hair, confident posing, and immaculately polished steel (well, with the steel that's there at least lol)
The only other thought that comes to mind is that she also doesn't seem to have a backpack or a lot of room for provisions, which suggests to me she either has a mount of some sort to carry the rest of her stuff, or she's working for some sort of organization with an outpost that can provision her relatively close by. Possibly both?
Idk shit about monster hunter but I saw one of the new characters on my dash and I want to talk about her armour am I allowed or nah

What year is Sunset Valley based? (Or useless information that is only relevant for my story)
Tumblr media
So over the last 5/6 years I’ve been developing ideas and headcanons to help my dyslexic brain create the world for my series better.  This includes random headcanons, family trees and Birthdays for everyone.
And for years and years, I’ve been writing and rewriting a big sunset valley story and I wanted to be able to get the ages of sims, along with events that happen in their lives consistent.
So I’ve written all the sims 3 neighbourhoods down, looked at all my headcanons plus what families exist in each neighbourhood to determine what years they could be based in.
However what I’ve decided basically changes the technology and bios and of sims and the neighbourhoods as they are presented in game (Example would be the Calientes and Brokes)
Here we go!
First things first, there are a few neighbourhoods that can fit into any era as they do not contain any characters or families from other neighbourhoods/ games.  Appaloosa Plains and Bridgeport, Port Able.
However I’ve decided that Bridgeport is based in the 1920′s due to the fact I made the deceased sim Lotta Greaves a member of the Landgraab family. Timeline wise she would have given birth around the 1900s before she died yet a young adult named Ebenezer Clavier knows her when she’s resurrected.
Appaloosa Plains and Port Able however can be just set at any point so who cares? Not me. Also for obvious reasons I will be excluding worlds that are holiday destinations and the university world.
Okay, here me go. The List of sims 3 worlds/neighbourhood and the years I’m basing them in (When you first play them)
Just imagine all the sims are dressed for the eras rather than having emo haircuts or something. Also when a year says something like “(1970-1979)” that means I can base the start of the neighbourhood at any point between those years.
Vista Beach (1880) Isla Paradiso (1880-1889) Sugar Maple Coast (1910-1918) Bridgeport (1920-1929)  Twinbrook (1935-1939) Starlight Shores (1945-1959)  Hidden Springs (1965)  Sunset Valley (1965) Riverview (1967-1968) Moonlight Falls (1980-1989)  Roaring Heights (1981)  Monte Vista (1984-1987) Aurora Skies (1987-1990) Moonlight Bay (1990-1998)  Midnight Hollow (1994-1996)  Lucky Palms (1996-1999) Sunlit Tides (1997-1998) Dragon Valley (2002-2003) Barnacle Bay (2004)  Beacon Bay (2020-2035) And that gives us roughly 155 years of sims neighbourhoods to work with. The original sims game takes place around 1988-1990 and all sims 2 neighbourhoods are all taking place at some point in 2015.
Sims 4 is an AU so although the neighbourhood/worlds exists in my story, none of the families/story counts so I can place them where ever I want.

Day 2: Classes, and a minor dispute
I have a persona I’m very particular about. Hunters, we’re lone wolves. Stoics. Cowboys. All low whistles and billowing cloaks, ten paces and a draw away from “Guardian down”.
That ain’t necessarily who I am, though–my fireteam knows. Tyra Karn knows, and she calls me “heir of Skorri”. Ha, I wish. And Marlowe, my Ghost, spends more time in my head than I do, so she knows.
Rest of the time I’m straight-faced as a judge, and being forged of steel certainly doesn’t make me any more expressive, so from time to time I’m called upon to be the arbiter of my compadres’ disputes.
We were in the Hangar lounge, and I reckon somebody musta played that stupid “if we believe” song a few too many times, ‘cause Hiyona and Perry had gotten into another one of their dumb arguments.
Hiyona’s more Cayde than Ikora, but she’s a Warlock through and through. Sure, Hunters think about the Light. If I stay still for too long and let my mind wander too far I glimpse the Deep Stone Crypt. But I’m not a Warlock. I’m nowhere near as committed to pondering as all that. Those fellas, they want to disassemble the whole world and find out how it works with the ground on top, and they’ll do it, too. I like to tell people Warlocks are the only folks who chase their shadows with any chance of actually catching them.
“Of course the Vanguard would say that,” she was telling Perry, “because they don’t want us poking around! I just find it implausible that dragons with the power to warp reality would let themselves be hunted to extinction.”
Made sense to me, but I’ve learned it’s better not to get involved until it’s time, so I kept carving away at my handcannon with my knife. (I do this with all my weapons, y'know. The Iron Lords forged a whole lotta Lingering Songs, but I’ve got an artist’s heart, and I like making sure this one is unquestionably mine. But I digress…)
“I think you’re being irrational,” Perry shot back.
Peregrine Foster, no relation to the greaves, is a Titan. He looks like a Titan, he acts like a Titan. I have determined through some unfathomable process that he smells like a Titan. He’s the wall against which Hiyona’s wild ideas crash and break. Old boy’s got no control over me, but time and again he’s tempered her worst impulses and turned them into something useful. Protective, but not paternalistic: that’s Perry. And he also gets real ornery.
“Frankly, this is just more Warlock foolishness,” he continued, and I saw Hiyona scowl on the edge of my vision.
“Wow. Okay.” She was offended. She’s not the type to say it, but as much as she wants to be wild and learn Fallen-speak and understand Hive magic and all that weirdness, she also wants her friends to respect her. Kid won’t abide it if she feels Perry isn’t.
“And besides, I don’t say it’s 'more Titan bullshit’ every time you’re a stubborn pain in the ass.”
They crossed their arms and turned away from one another, practically in unison, and if I didn’t know them better I’d think they’d planned it.
Both stood there quietly, the roiling Warlock storm and the stubborn Titan wall. These two were always needin’ a tiebreaker–my time to shine.
“Out by the Jovians, maybe?” I offered Hiyona with a noncommittal shrug. I know a fellow says he saw a wish dragon on Jupiter a ways back.
Peregrine groaned, turned on his heel, and left, no doubt to roam the walls with a sniper rifle and keep our City safe.
We remaining two sat quietly for a few moments, no conversation except the friendly chat between the *scrape scrape scrape* of my knife and the ambient noise of the lounge. Just one of those blessed Jackalope-5-and-Hiyona moments of peace.
She sighed, placed her hands on her knees, and got up: the universal symbol for “with all due respect I’m done here.”
“I’ve got a date with a gas planet,” she grinned.
I grunted. Between me and Hiyona that’s as good as a smile.
“Stay safe, kid,” I said.
And with that she strode off to do some more fruitless digging.
Feels like a pretty good summation of our orders, actually. The Warlock, driven silly in pursuit of the impossible. The Titan, brave and strong upon the Last City’s walls. And the Hunter, most comfortable alone with a knife and a song.

This is probably my one of my favorite pictures from my time playing ts3.
To give some context, Lotta Greaves was cheated on by the dude, Lane with this chick, Kiki. She ended up pregnant with his kid. Lotta found this out on their wedding day. This is her beloved dog, Duke. Taking revenge for his Mom on Kiki lmao!

Le sette sataniste ed il potere politico
Tumblr media
È interessante leggere l’intervista fatta a Bernard… In purezza ascetica. Read the full article
