What to Expect Next

Hello! Hoping this will be one of the last of these kind of posts I have to make for awhile. As classes wind down & I get ready to defend my proposal I figured I'd queue y'all in on things as I don't know how 'active' I'll be beyond posting fics & such. SO, having said all that, here's what's happening, feel free to skim this as much or as little as you'd like ^-^

Confused Spirit

Will be back to regular posting over the next few weeks. May not be every week starting out, but I'll be back to it. Should have ch. 35 posted later today, so if you're not on the tag list be on the lookout for that ^_^

I will be trying to keep a consistent schedule as (hopefully) I'll be getting my sinus infection fixed up and won't have that dragging me down but if I go off schedule for any reason, you know why

Trick or Treaters

Working on having everyone done over the next week or so, I know I am super duper late, but similar to CS I just haven't felt well or had motivation/been busy and even though they're silly little sketches I want them to at least be good

I do genuinely apologize to the people in my ask box though, I promise I haven't forgotten about you!

Secret Santa

I'm participating in Secret Santa this year and will (very likely) being doing a written gift, so you'll have that to look forward to towards the end of the month!

Remaining CS Refs

I'm going to be honest, I've been working on the refs for the cast on and off for a few months now and I'm just not super happy with them, like they're on the cusp of being the quality I want but they're just not there yet, so for the time being I'll be post-poning sharing them until I've improved my art a bit more and can say I'm happy with them

Will be sharing updated versions of the boys refs though! Mainly just trying to improve the quality and such so perhaps not as exciting to y'all as it is to me haha, potentially some others may be fixed up too 👀👀

I got a little idea I've been cooking up, and if you're reading this that means I've gotten ahead enough to a point where I feel comfortable attempting to execute it, be on the lookout for another post from me later today after the chapter release :)

That's all for now, like I said, with classes, my proposal, and fighting off this sinus infection I'm going to be on and off with tumblr, but I'll still be making and sharing things with you all to (hopefully) enjoy <3

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

chimmy changa timmy, why do you hate muffins? am I missing some of the lore?

Timmy doesn't like how they taste. No matter who, how or where they're made, the muffins are all the same to him. It's frustrating because he knows they shouldn't be.

And each time he walks away feeling immense disappointment. Like something should've happened.

He does his best to avoid eating them, but, Timmy found that people react weirdly when you say you don't like muffins. So he eats them anyways. He's unfortunately surrounded by muffin-nuts.

Reading all this Batfam fic has me trying to guess what stuff happened in canon based on how often it's referenced in multiple works like I'm some scholar trying to reconstruct some ancient lost ur-text based on other people's retellings of it. Like, I'm pretty sure the Batman canon included a scene where Red Hood breaks into the Titans Tower, attacks Tim Drake, and leaves a message saying "Jason Todd was here." Variants of it have shown up in quite a few fics I've read. Do I know the details? Not really. I think that Tim's shoulder was dislocated and the other Titans were drugged, too, but I'm less sure about those than I am of the event broadly happening. Granted, the first fandom in which I read copious amounts of fic is Danny Phantom, notorious for its extensive fanon, so I'm aware that I can't say conclusively whether or not Red Hood attacked Tim Drake in Titans Tower. But I'm pretty sure it happened.

Mod Owl lore: I used to be an artist for an original closed adoptables species called Wuffies on a niche rp forum board and I've been thinking about them again recently, so I thought i'd doodle Grian as a wuffy. Bonus fun fact - wuffies do not usually have wings, but I was the only person to ever get a wuffy with wings cause it was a birthday present from the species owner and I still have it :3 It would feel criminal to not give Grian wings though
