With that settled, Jess nodded and called, "Alright, everyone. Gather 'round!"

And gather they did. After everyone on Wyrdo's team shuffled themselves into place, Jess directed Mistress to float near Magic and indicated a pose to show off her typical tendrils and hat so the differences on Magic would stand out.

Xe took a few different pictures, but they were all about the same, save for the last two having someone Jess didn't know realizing pictures were being taken and making a silly pose in the background.

Roya and her mega Beedrill were still there in the background too, but most of the frame was occupied by the team displaying a spectrum from mild joy to absolute delight, except for a certain Lotix that looked like he was having premonitions of many dreadful things to come.

Magic, of course, was front and center, smiling like they'd reached the apex of their life.

It was glorious.

Jess mused fondly, "It's not often family photos include scientific discoveries."

Privately, Jess wondered how often this happened. Apparently often enough that there was, in fact, a protocol.

"Theoretically," Jess proposed, at the risk of setting them off again, "maybe you could do.... both? Possibly a picture here, and maybe a video when there's less background noise?"

Omg I actually did something you guys! I ACTUALLY FINALLY DREW SOMETHING!!! XD It feels like forever since I've actually done a whole picture. I'm stoke I actually got this sketch done tonight.  Yes sketch i love my god damn detailed sketches that I take for god damn ever to do. Maybe someday I'll evolve into turning this into lineart if I got good enough at it but for now it's still a damn sketch. I need to fix some errors tomorrow after work but good enough to allow me to finally sleep  >u<
