(I didn’t think about the appearance nor height, less draw but uhh- have werehog Negagen- for now he shall be very fluffy and kind of taller than Werehog Sonic- /lh)

It took Negagen some time to appear again after..an unexpected change of appearance per se, but even so, it was quite late for him to greet Fleetway during his work. Hopefully, he will still be able to see his friend. He was standing close enough to the entrance of the place where Fleetway works, glancing around at first then at the windows, then at the door, seeming to be looking for someone asides of checking the place.

It was pretty late, so Fleetway was just taking his time with closing the place up. After a few good minutes of him cleaning and such, the golden hedgehog stretched, before grabbing his cane off of a wall, walking towards the exit, rubbing his eyes out of tiredness. He pushed the door open with a hand, as he sighed, narrowing his eyes at Negagen. He waved, looked back ahead, and immediately turned his head back to Negagen after processing on what he saw.

" HOLY- "

Fleetway jumped back slightly, as he looked at Negagen up and down for a few minutes. He blinked, before clearing his throat, trying to regain his composure.

" ..Uh. So sorry- Gen? Are you..feeling alright? "

Negagen was in the forest, in the same spot of the first time he visited said place from this world, but it being nighttime- or most likely, it was late enough for there to lack light. He seemed to be hovering in the air kind of not too far away from the ground, with his eyes closed and his pose being one of meditation, most likely been doing that for some hours by now.

Meanwhile, Fleetway had just recently finished his shift at the Café, coming back from closing up. Normally, he would walk into the forest for a bit, relax, and go back home. He was planning on having another day like that, stretching his arms for just a few seconds, holding a walking cane in his arm. He immediately stopped walking, blinking at Negagen. He held the top of his cane in his hand, placing the staff at the ground, resting his other arm at his side. He was about to say something as he stepped forward, before stepping on a twig, letting out a loud 'snap'. He flinched for a just a second, stumbling. He quick readjusted himself as he cleared his throat, before waving a gloved hand at Negagen.

" Heeyy, Gen. "

" ... "

" Something just happened. "

" ..Don't mind me. Just doin' work. "

Proceeds to down a 4 shot espresso.

NIGHTMXRE-UNIVXRSE—

All he could do was let out a soft hum, and enjoy how things are going so far. He wasn’t exactly sure if they are..friends already but, as long as Fleetway is safe and happy, it should be enough. Besides, he wasn’t someone dangerous or anything so..he shouldn’t receive any orders related to him. The comment seemed to catch his attention, gazing at him for a bit longer before he gazed forward, most likely allowing such to happen.

“Really? I..never thought more ppl would go there to relax, or really seen anyone else do so before. Although, I’m up to visit that forest with you.” His calm behavior remained, his ears soon doing a small flick at the mumbling as he was trying to understand what he is saying. “Fallen into..? Could you repeat that, Fleetway?” He managed to say and guess few words, his tone showing a hint of confusion there as he wished to know what he said.

" HOW ABOUT WE CONTINUE WALKING- "

Wow. Okay.

After a few minutes of walking, and Fleetway occasionally stumbling over..air- He let out a small yawn, tired from his work. A small while after, the two quietly walked into a dark, but calming forest, off to the side being a river of a kind. Fleetway simply placed his walking cane down, as he stretched his arms, and sat down, leaning his back against a random tree. He let out a small sigh, as he rubbed his eyes.

" God damn- Sometimes I forget on how tiring work is. "

He sighed, before he adjusted his gloves, rolling them up to his elbows again, as he leaned back, resting his head again the bark of the tree. He let his arms rest to his side, before narrowing his eyes at Negagen.

" You can, uh..look around, if you wanna. Just don't wander too far, I don't need you gettin' lost. "

After a while of Negagen talking with the owner of the Café and eventually finishing the book he brought with him, it was time for him to leave the building, mainly because Fleetway had to close. So with that being kept in mind, Negagen stood up, picking up the book and the half of the pastry then heading to the exit, only to wait for Fleetway outside.

It only took a few minutes for Fleetway to finished closing up. Mainly because of placing things back where they originally were, cleaning, restocking items..The usual, basically. It didn't actually take him long, because after 2 minutes or less, the door to the Café opened up, emitting the small sound of the bell at the top to basically tell Fleetway someone had either left or just came in. The golden hedgehog grabbed a walking cane right before he had walked out, as he placed the end onto the ground, resting a hand onto the cane, just to balance himself. He smiled at Negagen, seeming to brighten up at seeing him.

" Thanks for waitin'. It usually takes me..a while to actually finish cleanin' up inside. "

He smiled, before resting an arm at the top of his cane. He stumbled a bit from this, before instantly standing himself up straight again, smiling a bit nervously.

" ..So, uh- Anywhere in specific you wanna go? "

Fleetway grabbed onto the small pastry with a gloved hand, as he stared down for a moment. He narrowed his eyes up at Negagen, before smiling a bit, letting out a soft chuckle. Well, Negagen did seem nice to Fleetway so far, and this was just something to really let the golden hedgehog trust him. Fleetway placed the pastry in his jacket, most likely just saving it for later, as he smiled.

" Awh, thanks! I'm flattered. "

He obviously said it in a joking way, but it was most likely just a way of saying he was thankful. He soon began to walk off, holding Negagen by the arm as he did, kinda..dragging him along. He was hoping Negagen didn't really mind it, otherwise this would be pretty awkward. He walked with his cane as he was dragging along Negagen, seeming as if he was just using it for his own support. He simply narrowed his eyes at the blue hedgehog, tilting his head a bit.

" There's a forest up ahead, I kinda just relax there for a bit after work sometimes. Has a bunch of lakes and rivers there, if you're interested. "

He chuckled a bit, before looking up ahead. He nervously smiled, as he soon spoke in a more quiet tone, mumbling.

" You have no idea on how much I've fallen into those things- "

Negagen raised a brow, seeming to be taken aback by that. “Really? That sounds like a lot of daily work and risk of putting yourself in danger. Though, it is also something quite impressive and admirable, in a way. Despite being new here and the lack of amount of time being here, it is clear to see that you are quite good and successful with your job.” He lets out a thoughtful hum, resting an arm on the table. That happening too often wasn’t good but..there wasn’t much he can do to help. “It’s relieving to hear you are fine but, you might have to be more careful to not get too hurt.” He added and before he could say something else, he heard the next sentence, having to stop for a moment and think a bit. “..Like that should be fine, thank you.” Honestly, he had no idea in general about teas and so on. Was he..supposed to say something random for it? The temperature of the tea? No idea. “You are correct about it. I recently got to this city, so it will take me some time to get used to being here. I’m not quite sure how long I’m going to stay in this city, but I’d like to try and provide you some help here as long as you are fine with it.”

As Negagen mentioned on how admirable it was for Fleetway to simply be doing his job, he let put a small chuckle, sharp fangs showing off.

" Awh, I'm flattered. "

He obviously meant it in a joking way. As Negagen was talking, Fleetway only finished with his current drink he was working on, sliding it over to a person across the counter. He then rested his arm on the counter, staring at Negagen. He blinked for a moment, before he smiled. Well, he seemed nice. It wouldn't hurt to actually hang with them for a bit, and besides, Fleetway had nothing important going on.

" Sounds good! If you plan on staying here for the day, after this place closes up, we could always hang out for a bit. Maybe I could give 'ya a small tour of a few places, if you're cool with that. "

He soon waved at a costumer who left, before Fleetway adjusted his gloves for a second, narrowing his eyes at the other hedgehog. He really seemed to be enjoying his company so far. Fleetway simply smiled at Negagen, as he slightly showed off his sharp fangs, which, in all honesty, looked like he could rip someone apart with them if tried hard enough.

" You can always come and visit me here if you wanna get somethin' to drink. But just know, I ain't always gonna be giving you free stuff, so bring some cash around 'ya if you wanna buy somethin'. "

He wandered around for a moment while holding said book, taking a quick enough look at the buildings until he spotted a coffee shop/restaurant (?), which it caught his attention. He..never really saw one of those before nor could read anything about it but, it wouldn’t hurt to visit that place and learn something, Right? So with that in mind, Negagen approached said building, now standing near the entrance. He looked around for a moment, then at the door, perhaps trying to know if it is open for ppl to enter or not before he can do anything else.

The Café began to emit a small scent of coffee and pastries, as inside, there was a person at the counter, seeming to just be an employee. Small yellow blurs were seen as he began to speed around the place, making different types of drinks for everyone all at once. As he was finished with each drink, he seemed to call out a name, as he placed a cup on the side of the counter. A person would occasionally come up, grab a cup, and walk out. The hedgehog would wave at them all with a smile, as he adjusted his jacket.

He was about to continue his work, before he narrowed his eyes at the newcomer, blinking. He quickly said something to the other costumers, as he left his workspace, walking himself backwards to the door, just to talk with anybody that might be asking him anything. He quickly bumped into a wall, as he stumbled a bit, before nervously smiling, and opening up the door to his Café, as he faced Negagen, waving with a small smile.

Negagen took in mind his behavior, along with the appearance. It wasn’t really..common, to see sharp teeth and spiral-like eyes, but it wasn’t something to dislike. He did a nod of understanding, paying full attention to all the info and so on. “I see. I will try the green tea, along with any of those..’pastries’.” He spoke shortly, simply leaving it up to Fleetway. And as being told, he took a quick glance around the place, soon sitting somewhere that isn’t too close to the rest of the ppl then leaving the book on the table. As he waited, he gazed at everyone one by one, pondering until his focus got caught by the hedgehog’s actions.

Negagen lets out a soft hum, confirming that. “Fleetway..that’s a nice name. You can call me Negagen, it’s a pleasure to meet you. If you don’t mind me asking, How’s your back? And you are one of the workers from this place, Correct?” He prioritized the question to check on him first this time, having to at least know if he is hurt or not. As for the other question, he did kind of have an idea about it already but, he’d rather know it for sure asides of have time to talk with him.

Fleetway simply held out a thumbs-up at the request of Negagen's order, speeding off to the other side of the counter in a blur. As Negagen began to speak, Fleetway narrowed his at him, showing that he was paying full attention to him. Occasionally, he would place a cup to the side of the counter, waving at a costumer leaving the building. As Negagen finished his talking, Fleetway grabbed a small cup, mixing it with a few ingredients, smiling at Negagen.

" Actually, owner. I just like serving people here, helps me relax for a bit here. And for the fact that there ain't anybody else workin' here. "

He let out a very small chuckle, as he grabbed a lid for the cup in his hand, placing it onto the counter. He rested an arm on the surface, looking at Negagen with a small tilt of his head.

" And, yeah, I feel fine. I run into random ass walls all the damn time, ain't something new for me here. "

He reached a hand next to a container full of different pastries next to himself. He placed it into a small paper bag, as he held up a hand to any waiting costumers, signaling to them he would be back. As he held one bag containing the small treat with one hand, he grabbed onto the drink from earlier with the other, walking out from the counter, placing the two objects in front of Negagen.

" Tell me how 'ya like it. "

He smiled, immediately making his way back to the counter. He reached for a medium sized cup to his side, as he narrowed his eyes at Negagen.

" I take it, you're a newcomer here? I certainly ain't seen your face around here before. "

He listened to a word Negagen said, smiling along with each word. As he did, sharp teeth showed through his muzzle, but he didn't really seem to mind.

" Well, there's always the menu 'ya can look at for anything you want, but if you need my opinion, the green tea here is one of my favorites. Pastries are real good as well, if you wanna try one of those. "

He simply smiled, before turning himself around, motioning his head for Negagen to follow him.

" Sit down for a bit, and I'll make you somethin', on the house. "

He placed a few cups and bags of pastries off to the side of the counter, as people went to grab what they needed. Fleetway grabbed a small cup from a cup holder next to him, searching for ingredients to actually use. Assuming Negagen already sat down already, Fleetway looked over to him from behind the counter, tilting his head in a curious way.

" You got a name I can call 'ya, dude? Mine's Fleetway, incase 'ya need to know. "

Silver sits there for a bit longer before holding out his pinky towards the older hedgehog

"Pinky promise?"

Sonic stood there for a moment. Well, that was..surprisingly easy. But, he still felt guilty about his own actions, he didn't even know if Silver wanted to be near him. Ah, whatever. Sonic sighed as he walked up to Silver, holding out a hand, and wrapping a pinky around the other's. He stayed like that for a moment, before immediately pulling the younger hedgehog into a hug, without any warning or hesitation.

" I'm sorry, kid. "

Sonic immediately tried to say something, before Fleetway simply walked off, slamming the door shut as he walked out the room. Sonic tensed his body up for a second as he did, lowering his ears down. He sighed, before narrowing his eyes at Silver, opening his mouth to say something, but having nothing come out. He soon sighed, narrowing his eyes away. It was hard to say something when there's too much going on in your mind. After a few seconds or so, he looked back at his son, taking a step forward.

" Kid, listen- "

" Will you just listen to me? "

Sonic sounded desperate at this point. He didn't even know what to say or do at this point, and how he hated it. He was talking to his son, and he can't even speak to him properly? God, he felt terrible about himself.

" Look, about Shadow- I can't defend him at this point, it wasn't right on what he said to you. I'm sorry for what happened, and I'm not asking you to forgive him or me- I just.. "

He stayed silent for a second.

" Please, just come back home. I'm-..We're worried about you. "
