For me this right here really takes the cake in terms of Strange Prost and Senna Teammate Shenanigans.

First of all I have to point out how amusing it is that in this clip, while talking about his little psychological war with Ayrton, Alain is grinning and giggling and then it cuts to Murray Walker very seriously saying “I waited for FOUR and a half hours” as if he’s talking about absolutely dreadful service at a restaurant

Interestingly, Prost has said many times over the years that even during their difficult times as teammates, he and Ayrton would still exchange information and talk in briefings because they both wanted to extract the best performance possible out of the car. And yet even that had become a competition, a stand-off.

i feel like a lot of the 'i hate kids' crowd would be more tolerant if they understood that due to a kid's limited experience of the world that 4 hour flight might just be the longest they've ever had to sit still for or that trapped finger might literally be the most pain they've ever felt in their short life or they might not have ever seen a person with pink hair ever so of course they want to touch it or nobody's told them yet that they can't run around the museum and they only just learned cheetahs are the fastest animals so of course they want to put that to the test. how were they supposed to know etc etc.

The diagram for the classic Origami Goat, with a twist to make its horns curve ! It's from this video by by Origami Word, but it seems to be a pretty old/intemporal design that a lot of people have made. I could not find a diagram online so I made one.

(If you make her in yellow/orangy-yellow, then decorate her with red ribbons, you can make your own origami gävlebocken ! )

I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.

These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.

And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.

#I collect them because they come in fun shapes but they're also incredibly nice to use #all the ones I own write impressively smoothly #even the most flexible and fine pointed nibs #I have a ton of modern nibs as well (like a lot) and smoothness plus flexibility is not a common trait combo #good object #dip pens
