this is goethe schlumper <3 a german he/him lesbian scientist who loves unethical experimentation and his wife. he has prodigal lightning magic skill and a bad attitude. his voice is around what hojo from machinabridged sounds like.

lore tl;dr: goethe is a german loud mad scientist type with unsupportive and extremely unpleasant parents. he moved out at a younger age thanks to the help of a mentor, got some higher education going, finished that, and then booked it to A Country to study the leftover science there. he enjoyed the scene for awhile before meeting and immediately deciding that, for tantrum reasons, he doesnt like faust. after getting tired of A Country he shuffles his way to sweden (around where a.b.a was born) and decides that he now lives in an abandoned pwab lab and that will SURELY not come back to bite him in the butt. the lab is haunted and after awhile he and the ghost fall in love with each other. goethe is still constantly pursuing subjects to research. ...watch out! haha

i made him the way he is partially bc i feel like a good amount of gg characters dislike faust for a genuine reason, so i made a petty little doctor with a horrible inferiority complex who has no idea who dr. baldhead is. his hate for faust is in a kind of tsundere-ish way though; he would rather be caught dead than saying it but hes aware that faust is very capable. hes the same way with the rest of the cast that he doesnt piss off (he pisses off most of them). notably he has a connection to leo through a now-deceased crusade hero member of the family. leo would visit often when goethe was smaller and will often try and reconnect with him now, but goethe just tends to snap at him for associating him with his Inferior family, not treating him like the Proper Successful Scary Doctor that hes made himself into be and also calling him “the schlumper kid”. he has issues. being in love is sort of helping him open up to having more positive emotions in his life <3
