Inu No Taisho "Toga" Headcanon (AU)

Toga was always emotional, someone who never attempted to hide his emotions even as a boy.

he was often called "cry baby" going up.

His father was a big Personality and often laughed loud and hard, but Toga couldn't stand it because he always felt there was small cruel lining in his laughs.

He never shied away from laughing, crying and felt the pain and emotions of so much loss people suffered through. But he's hardly ever not seem without a big toothy grin and he laughed just as loud but always good natured.

In a time of war, secrets, mistrust and alliances emotions sometimes could get you killed. showing your true heart want always accepted by most demons.

But his honesty won him more allies than lost during his time as lord.

Twin Heirs of the Great Lord Sesshomaru

The Sesshomaru and Irene kiddos designs are completed!

Hooooohhhhh... 'kay. Sorano is the eldest, Hikaru and Akane are twins, and then you have Airi. I wanted to get these four's designs down just in case I decide to attempt that massive drawing I posted a sketch of the other day.

Sesshomaru gets a new haori to match Irene's kimono. :3 He misses his wife. T_T

I don't remember what it was I was doing, but my brain suddenly was like, "Oh. What if Tatsunori had like a little pond inside his old shrine, and Kai and Ayumu (the Shikigami koi) are circling around Irene while she sleeps? And then Mayonaka yanks her out of it during the battle with Sora..." and it was such an image I needed to draw it, so I added it in with Sora's outfits. I imagine Sess visits Irene at the start and end of each month while he's hunting down Mayonaka.

Also, everyone except Airi and Akane (apparently) are getting the butterflies because Mayonaka is a moth and the Butterfly vs Moth imagery is very amusing to me. Hikaru's butterflies are very subtle. They're under his haori.

OH WAIT MAYBE AKANE'S FAMILIAR IS A BUTTERFLY SPIRIT/YOKAI. Haha, there we go. Problem solved. Airi probably wears a butterfly kimono at some point. OR BUTTERFLY PAJAMAS.

I found my old bnha drawings and those are probably from nearly 4 or 5 years ago and there is a fucking Bakugo Katsuki drawing that thinking about if holding mini Izuku's hand in that river scene is ok or not and Im not okay.

Oh my fucking god.

My English wasnt good at that time so I wrote "grab" instead of "hold" and I can see some eng mistakes and that old toga sketch... Oh my god.

Dread Lord x Free Tsutsumi AU:

Lady Nagant (in Tartarus): I heard that the new Dread Lord has been chosen, maybe I can request an audience? There are one-way mirrors in the interrogation rooms.

The next day, Lady Nagant has disappeared from Tartarus, making her the first person to ever escape the supermax prison. (HPSC is keeping it under wraps, however.)

x Longshot AU:

Izuku: Nezu, you said the school rules didn't ban Villains like me to enroll right?

Nezu: Yep, That's why you and Himiko are accepted once you passed your entrance exams. (x Manager Toga AU)

Izuku: What about hiring a currently Wanted Villain as a staff member? (Slides a job application and resume forward)

Nezu: I'd need to do a job interview, but sure! No rules against it! *Spills tea while laughing*

(Does not need to get hired as a homeroom teacher, but maybe as Nezu's secretary/bodyguard? Can be a TA for certain classes though) 

x Internal Affairs AU:

*At UA Gates*

Hawks: "Senpai, HPSC has ordered me to arrest you!"

Nagant: "Seeing as you're taking to me through the intercom...are you?"

Hawks: "Heck no! I know the newer secret ops and stuff, plus I've got an actual teaching license! I can teach the students about aerial combat!"

Nezu: "Come in to my office for the job interview! I suppose you've got your resume?"

Okay the worst part about what bones did? Like, regardless of romance, ships, whatever, this is just another example onto the PILE that already exists of people trying to treat mha like how every other shonen should act.

Shonen and shojo aren’t like… genres, but they are categories that generally follow a lot of the same tropes. The reason why I personally enjoy shojo more is because it lacks a lot of the fan service (usually) and imo is just better at adapting and evolving what it means to be apart of the category. Like madoka magica, which birthed the popularity of the psychological horror genre WITHIN shojo.

Shonen, however, has evolved a little bit, but not nearly as much. Generally, the same 10 tropes are used, no matter the anime/manga, (with some exceptions ofc okay, I’m not blind) and because of this expectation, it makes those like the director, I’m assuming, and the fandom, have certain expectations on what should happen in a shonen. When mha doesn’t follow that format, people either get mad about it, write it off, or, in bones’ case, completely change it.

Now I’m not saying they always alter things, or even that they are altering anything for season 6. I think it would upset everyone involved if they just randomly changed the writing.

What I am saying though is that they’re playing into the same toxic tropes shonen has been following for decades. Decades!

Boys can’t be vulnerable, and if they are, they are either a small child, it’s for a joke, or it’s for their female love interest. Usually the male “best friend” (or in bkg’s case closest person☺️) is only allowed to be vulnerable, touchy, outshine the female love interest intimately, etc when the female love interest either can’t, or they are helping the female love interest be intimate.

Because, god forbid we let boys cry! Toxic masculinity! I need to project onto this super strong male character, and that means they can’t be emotional OR gay!

When they did this, it wasn’t just about how Izuku is defining ochako’s character, it wasn’t just about how iida and Katsuki’s moments were completely glossed over.

It was about how we continue to let toxic masculinity define our characters and their relationships.

Ochako and her moments, her story, her character is being defined by the male main character. By her “accepting her feelings” completely dismisses her hero career, her story.

“Oh but she can learn she can be a wife AND a hero!” But does she want that? Has she actually EVER wanted that??? Or has someone defined that for her?

She’s just not the focal point of this arc, not in the slightest, and yet here we are. Here we fucking are. Is toga mentioned once in this intro? Hell no. Ofc she’s not. Because that would seem too suspicious.

Anime only’s, please just read the manga. It’s prettier, more accurate to canon, a different perspective on Katsuki, Izuku, Ochako, and Toga, and won’t pull this bullshit.

any feels like Inuyasha father deserves a spinoff?

I don’t know how many people watched the show Shogun recently, but since it happened during the Edo the same time his father lived, I think it would be absolutely amazing to see what his life was like when he was alive.

Such as how he grew up being a Lord, was like him, fighting demons and ultimately him meeting inInuyasha mom and making those for her all the way up until his tragic death.

Kinktober 2024

As you might know from visiting my blog this past year, I've gotten some underrated Heian and Sengoku Era anime obsessions.

One of these lovely gentlemen (who I haven't written smut for yet) will definitely get a Kinktober fic😏, but I'd like to know if anyone's got a favourite for me to make an extra smut for!

I'm not really good at smut, but it's a genre and I'd like to use Kinktober as a motivation to practise outside of my creative comfort zone.
