loona 6th anniversary this week. what can i say. being an orbit for the past six years has been such an up and down journey, through the drought between "butterfly" and "so what", their slowly rising success in 2020 and 2021, haseul's hiatus and return, everything that queendom 2 was (both the positive and negative), the massive light it shone on the group, the messy world tour and eventual lawsuits. i remember how shocked and confused I was in November 2022 when Chuu got kicked out, only for many idols to stand up for her. For all of the girls to sue Blockberry, eventually being successful in their lawsuits. I'm sad that they are not together in one group right now, but at the same time, their projects are wonderful. They show the individual membbers' talents and passion and as a fan, they are thrilling to witness. This might be the best time to be an Orbit. Additionally, the members have said, again and again, that they are still part of loona and cheer each other on continuously. I hope that soon, we will be able to see them on the stage together again, and until then and after, I will be glad (and a little bit proud) to have always stuck to their side. Loona is on of my favourite musicians ever right now, and I think this love for them will continue for a long time.

October, 05 2022 — 6th Anniversary.

I feel like it’s just yesterday, I’ve debuted as the first member of 이달의소녀 with my solo song, ViViD. I feel like it’s just yesterday I met Orbits for the first time, exchanging greetings for the first time, laughing and talking to each other in the fan sign hall. I feel like it’s just yesterday we celebrated my birthday for the first time. Time flies so quickly.. It’s been six years already. ♡

The years go by so fast, the months keep changing, day after day, and the seconds keep ticking. I think the days I spent with Orbits were so impressive every day, many things happened during this time, and today is exactly six years since I spent time with Orbit, right in this soothing autumn. You know? It’s been six years but this still feels like a dream, a dream that unexpectedly comes true. When we turn back the time to a few years back, I can still clearly see the struggle, cries, laughter, and hard work that I’ve put in to reach my biggest dream. I have the feeling of nervousness, happiness, sadness, and excitement, I can still feel them deeply. Every moment of struggle and hard work will never be measured by any kind of words.

I still remember the day when I was first told that I would be debuting with the Girs of the Moon (LOONA) as the first member with my solo song as the first step. They elucidated at length the concept of the group and so on, That was the happiest emotion I got at that moment.

For I, as one of those who succeeded in achieving their dreams, I stand amid the roar of a surf-tormented shore and I hold within my hand until I can see a ray of light come to me, hold me and show me the way to make my dreams come true. This is also inseparable from the support and love that everyone has given me so that I can go this far. Six years is not a short time, is it? We have gone through many things together, support, tears, and love we have gone through and will continue to get. Thank you for always being here, ya? I’m not going to mockingbird but without you all I’m nobody and a just a Heejin without a ‘name’. You guys mean a lot to me. Let’s stay together until an indefinite time!!

To celebrate this pleasure moment, let’s have a little throwback by giving you my first fan sign pictures that were taken by fansite-nim to remember. (Not to forget to listen to my very first solo song ViViD, OK?! Y’all sing Oh my God yes? Say oh my God yes! Together!!)
