My things to look for in 2014, and what to do to achieve them

(I'm making this public because it will serve as a reminder to myself)

1. Know where I'm heading

- study, study, study

- do more, experiment

- talk to a wide range of people and don't be shy

- don't be afraid of looking like a fool

- don't be afraid of asking

- find somewhere I REALLY would like to work

- don't be afraid of failing (many times)

- when lost, keep wandering, don't stop

2. Free from Grad School

- read what is needed for final assignment

- think about buying a e-reader

- write down whatever ideas you have

- take the lead on assignments from all the classes

- don't be afraid of asking for help

- study, study, study

3. Accomplish BIG project

- learn about the area to work with

- take courses, read books

- know when to save money and DO IT

- talk to the related people, don't be shy

- learn more about finances

4. Travel to the U.S.

- relax

- don't get into debt

- shedule some courses

- plan travel ahead (a lot ahead)

- Visas and passport

- save money (seriously)

5. Get Fit

- raise my own awareness of my diet

- EXERCISES (at least 3x a week)

- don't be lazy

- wake up early

- sleep on time

- No "up all night"

- eat healthy

- plan meals
