I always see people comment on how Daniel is turning more into Gun due to how he has improved in fighting as the story progresses. HOWEVER, I've never heard Daniel becoming James Lee before and I find that concept very interesting. I'm not sure if PTJ is leading Daniel towards that path of him becoming the new "James Lee", since he is a self-righteous character who seeks truth.

Even though I find this moment to be very cool, I worry that Daniel might create more enemies for himself and I hope he doesn't kill anyone then spiral into long-term guilt like James Lee.

After all the angst I think I need my daily dose of vitamin Cat 😺. How would the ROs react to accidentally stepping on the cats tail? What if the MC scolds them for it while the cat is in MC arms being all smug (like in cat threatened by knife meme)?

The Physician would frown a little, 'my apologies, little one,' and if it didn't run off, she would like to bend down to pet it. If the main character scolded her, she would frown yet again. 'Surely, you must realise that accidents happen...'

Aubrey would feel so guilty, apologising profusely. He would get a bit sad, even, and if the main character scolded him, he would definitely sulk; yes, he was clumsy, it was his fault, but something similar will probably happen to them eventually, and he wouldn't scold them! ...and why is the cat looking so smug...?

Vesa would go 'oh! No, how clumsy I am! I'm surprised I didn't fall over... I'm so sorry!' She would find the smug-looking cat quite adorable and amusing, but she wouldn't like to get scolded, even though it wouldn't anger her. Cats are quick, and they're good at popping out of absolutely nowhere!

Narciso would be as surprised as the cat - he's far from clumsy, after all. He didn't expect cats to be able to make themselves that invisible and moving that sudden. He will have to be careful in the future, so it doesn't happen again. If he got scolded, he would just sigh quietly... but the cat looks amusing right now, doesn't it?

Roswhen would feel guilty, but it's no tragedy. Such things happen, and the cat probably got more startled than hurt. 'You're looking haughty there, dear cat! Oh, fine, you may scold me a little, but I bet that the cat is making you do it - look at its face!'

Elan would definitely feel sad and guilty for hurting an innocent little creature. What if it will never trust him again after that? What if it thinks that he meant to cause it pain? It would almost be a relief that the cat looked so smug, because at least it doesn't seem stressed or in distress from his mishap! He would get sadder from being scolded though, lowering his eyes a little, looking not too unlike a wet puppy. Perhaps they aren't in the wrong, but it's not as he can reverse the situation and un-step on the tail, scolding him just makes it worse.
