My boy, Glenn, might not need to sustain himself with 'normal food' anymore, but he would LOVE to show off and treat his friends and lover to a feast with his cooking from time to time. So now, Glenn's Kitchen is officially open!

What would the ROs request for appetizer, main course and dessert? Also their Reactions to Flambé technique, please!

This is so charming - I like this Glenn already! Let the feast begin, haha, what a luxury.

The Physician would like something nice and fruity as an appetizer - she has a sweet tooth. As a main course, she would enjoy a good pie with more filling than crust, preferably some sort of poultry. For dessert, she would like to be surprised, as long as it's something sweet! She's very fond of chocolate in basically all forms, so that would sit right. As for the flambé technique, she would love to learn it. She used to be a good cook, but she's a bit rusty nowadays, so practice could be fun.

Aubrey would enjoy some sort of crab cocktail for an appetizer, and fish with white wine sauce and vegetables for a main course - he's fond of seafood. He would like a nougat praline for dessert. He would think the flambé technique looked nice, but wouldn't trust himself to even try learning it himself.

Vesa would enjoy some flavourful cheese as an appetizer, served with honey and walnuts perhaps. For a main course, she would like blue rare beef, served with some hot and spicy sauce, and some roasted vegetables. A piece of chocolate chili cake for dessert would be nice. She would absolutely love to watch the flambé technique, she would find it fun to look at.

Narciso would like some fancy cold cuts for an appetizer, and rare steak served with either a rich and creamy sauce or red wine sauce for a main course. The cook may pick something that goes well with it. For dessert, he would like a light yet creamy mousse. He would be pleased with the flambé technique - he always thought it looked nice and impressive.

Roswhen would like a light green salad as an appetizer. As for the main course, they would love to be surprised; 'perhaps you could cook me your signature dish? Something you're proud of, or means a lot to you.' They would enjoy a fruit salad drizzled with honey for dessert. They would find the flambé technique fun - impressive, they were unfamiliar with it!

Elan would like stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, a flavourful and hearty stew for main course, and a cup of hot chocolate with cream for dessert. He would be impressed with the flambé technique, thinking it looked advanced and fancy.

How great would you say the RO spice tolerance is? Maybe in a scale from 1 to 10. How about you, Author? Did you have good spice tolerance? 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Fun question! I'm a big fan of spicy food myself; I would say I have a pretty solid tolerance, 8/10 perhaps? I get happy when I find something that's almost too spicy for me, haha, it's part of the fun.

The Physician can handle fairly spicy food, even though she prefers sweeter dishes; it takes some work to make her eyes water. 7/10 or so.

Aubrey can handle spicy food fairly well, but he needs to take it slow if it has a lot of heat. 6/10.

Vesa absolutely adores spicy food, and seldom struggles at all; she actually wishes her tolerance was slightly lower, so it would be easier for her to feel that certain kick. 9/10.

Narciso doesn't have the best tolerance, but he can handle some slight kicks. 4/10.

Roswhen is fairly sensitive to spice; 2 or 3/10.

Elan likes spicy food, and has a pretty good tolerance - especially since doesn't eat a lot of spice. 8/10.

A bit random, but if you have any tarot on hand, take a random card when you think of the ROs and tell us about it, please! What does it mean and would it match the ROs in any way?

This is a very fun question! A little activity, and I had such a good time doing it - thank you!

I thought about the Physician, and I pulled The Fool. This card can definitely apply to her, because it's often about journeys, about hope, and about taking leaps of faith. Curiosity, too, and she certainly is curious. Although, she's definitely more experienced nowadays than The Fool use to be - a person or action this card often represent is not seldom a bit naïve, or have a beginner's hope, but perhaps that's her at the start of her journeys, when she just started with her 'calling.'

I pulled The Devil when I thought about Aubrey. I have said before that he has a little Devil inside of him! The card can stand for, for example, temptations, vices, addiction, and hedonism. I think this fits him quite well, and he would take it as a compliment.

Vesa got Queen of Wands, which is very amusing to me, because I have assigned her that card in an ask before - and now she came at random! She's a sexy, confident, passionate, charismatic, and creative lady, just like Vesa herself. My favorite fit for her.

Narciso got The Moon. It's a mysterious and secretive card, that can relate to the subconscious mind, and I think that suits him well. A bit gloomy, too, but with positive meanings as well, such as wisdom and strong intuition.

For Roswhen, I pulled the Page of Wands. This card often represents someone lively, bold, independent, and optimistic. I can definitely see it for Roswhen!

Elan got Nine of Swords. It's basically the worries/fears/nightmares-card. Anxious, like him. That fits all too well - he worries a lot.

If the ROs are cats, what type of breed they will be? What will Cat!ROs personality be like?

Very correct, haha! My own Bacchus-cat agrees; she's rubbing against me as we speak.

I can see the Physician as a Bombay cat, because I image that she would be a panther-lookalike, and with a elefant and strong build at that. She would be curious, of course, curious and clever. One of those cats that impressed humans with how wise she somehow seemed.

When it comes to Aubrey, I got the suggestion from a dear mutual here, @deepseamuse , that he, if he were a cat, might be a California Spangled, and since I liked it, I will go with that. I like the idea of him being an experimental breed, at that. He would be playful and bitey, a hunter - if he was kept indoors he would love to chase toys - but he would be lazy, too, loving to curl up and just relax a good quantity of the day.

Vesa would be a Bengal cat. She would be playful, vocal, social, affectionate, and active. Very friendly, yet a bit wild in her attitude. She would definitely get the zoomies at night, and during the day, she would be such a lap cat.

Narciso would be a white Turkish Angora cat with a luxurious fur. He'd be elegant and chubby, like his human form, and it would take a while to earn his trust - he'd be one of those cats that people thought seemed standoffish - but if one had his trust, he would be an incredibly pleasant and mellow companion.

Roswhen would be a common domestic shorthair, a cute tabby. Orange, perhaps - I think they would like orange cats. They would be a fun and energetic cat, very sweet and friendly. They would like to hang out with cats and humans alike.

I can imagine Elan as a Maine Coon, since he would probably be large and fluffy as a cat. He would be a shy and timid cat, but incredibly sweet and faithful once one had earned his trust. He would like to sleep by his owner's feet to protect them during the night.

I know horror is more your forte, Niko. But if you could assign a classic fairytale for the ROs, what stories will it be? What role will they play?

That's a fun question! You're definitely right, horror is more my forte - I find the subject of fairytales interesting, but I don't have that much knowledge regarding them at the moment (I should ask my brother, who is a bit of a fairytale-geek, to teach me some more, haha,) so I apologise if this is somewhat basic.

I'll give the Physician the role of the Pied Piper, simply because I have read about plague symbolism regarding that tale - and she does, in her own way, lead people out of villages and towns.

Narciso's answer is a bit of a joke, I'm afraid. The Princess (here changed to Prince) and the Pea. He likes his comfort, and can be quite delicate/sensitive from time to time, even though he'd prefer to keep quiet about it. It would barely surprise me if a pea underneath his mattress would bother him.

Roswhen would be Little Red Riding Hood, but as a remix of the tale, a remix that turned the tale into a story about the complexity of humans. In it, they would be all the characters. Little Red Riding Hood, the grandmother, the wolf, and the Hunter, all in one. (This came to me as a bit of a joke at first, since they like the colour red.)

Elan would relate to the Ugly Duckling - he never really felt that he belonged.

That leaves Vesa and Aubrey for now, but I have been sitting on this ask for quite a while now. I'm sure Vesa would love The Little Mermaid, but she would never sacrifice herself like that...

Because I'm in a mood for hurt and comfort with sprinkle of angst... How would the ROs react and answer MC if they asked, "Would you still love me, even if I'm broken?"

The Physician: "It doesn't change my affection and love for you if you view yourself as such. Please, try not to ever worry about that. I'm here."

Aubrey: "I would, and I do. I hope nothing will ever convince you of the opposite."

Vesa: "To be somewhat broken means that you have lived, and you're still here to tell the tale. Not only do I still love you; I find you admirable, too."

Roswhen: "Of course! I hope I haven't said or done anything to make you believe differently...? I love you for who you are, whole or broken."

Narciso: "If you trust me to love you, even though broken, I trust you to love me, although broken."

Elan: "Yes. Yes, naturally. What can I say... I don't feel entirely whole, either."

How would the ROs answer if mc tell them,

"Fate has dealt a cruel hand in my life, with its endless pain and tragedy. But I'm thankful nonetheless, because I found love, I found you."

The Physician: "I grieve to hear that your life has been one of so much pain and misery. I hope that I, and the love I wholeheartedly want to offer you, will act as a soothing balm whenever you need me."

Aubrey: "Life can be hard, no? And it can be full of joy, too. I hope the two of us will share whatever joys and hardships we meet on our way."

Vesa: "Darling, I will always be here for you. Don't you ever forget it. I'm externally grateful to have you in my life. Come, let me embrace you."

Narciso: "I feel similar, my sweet. I hope we can overcome hardship after hardship together."

Roswhen: "I'm so very thankful to be a part of your life. Just tell me when you need me, and I will be there for you. That, I promise, and don't ever hesitate to ask!"

Elan: "What can I say... Excuse me. I believe I'm a little bit... Oh, it's nothing bad, don't worry. A bit overwhelmed perhaps? I will collect myself soon... Let it be known, though, that I'm thankful, too. I never thought I would meet someone like you."

What would the RO think about MC with congenital insensitivity to pain (CID)?

The Physician would want to ask questions about it, because of her medical interest and curiosity, but she would do her best not to be insensitive; she wouldn't want to make them uncomfortable, she wouldn't want them to think she was prying.

Aubrey would find it quite fascinating, and would be interested in learning more about the subject.

Vesa would be very casual about it.

Narciso wouldn't ask anything about it unless the main character themselves started a conversation about the subject. He wouldn't want to ask anything too personal, in case they would be uncomfortable with it.

Roswhen would be mildly curious yet casual.

Elan would show some gentle concern.

Aww~ cat version of the ROs sounds wholly adorable. I jut have to ask a follow up question!

MC brought home Cat!ROs and show them to the ROs, "I name it (ROs Name) Junior! 😄" . How would the ROs react? Will they get along with their cat counterpart?

Aw, I'm glad! It was a charming question, and so is this one!

The Physician would be amused and pretend that she didn't know what they were talking about when they named the cat after her - but she would notice a similarity here and there, even though she wouldn't admit it immediately. The cat and her would become fast friends.

Aubrey would find it fun, charming, and quite flattering in a sense, and say that yes, it makes sense. He understands their reasoning... He would adore the cat, and joke about them being siblings.

Vesa would be happy, find it all adorable, and quickly feel a connection with the cat - she would jokingly pretend to have a psychic bond with it.

Narciso would wonder what this is all about - what, does he looks like a cat, or...? (His confusion would continue even as their shared mannerisms became more apparent.) He would like the cat, though, and appreciate its calm temperament.

Roswhen would be confused at first, too, but would become less so soon enough. It's not as if they would find it a bad thing anyway - they like cats, so they would take it as a compliment, especially when it comes to a cute and fun cat such as this one.

Elan would joke about the main character giving the cat bad luck by giving it his name, but on the other hand, it is rather amusing... He would be extremely protective of the cat.

How would the ROs act when they're in fear?

The Physician tends to freeze up if the fear is too overwhelming; she doesn't quite know what to do. Even so, she tries to keep her composure. Otherwise, she tries to lie low and be cautious.

Aubrey feels either sick or enraged - or both.

Vesa's fear usually turns to anger and a fighting spirit; she just wants to protect herself (and her loved ones, if that applies.)

Narciso's flight reaction comes out in full force.

Roswhen tries to think as strategically as possible; what would make sense in this situation?

If the fear is acute, Elan basically has a combination of flight and fight - throw a punch and flee, pretty much. If it's more lingering, he does all he can to avoid whatever feels threatening, while feeling very paranoid at the same time.

Drunk MC hugs the ROs and exclaims playfully, "You're stuck with me now!"

How would the ROs react? 🤭

The Physician, amused: "Not in this particular position forever, I hope? Oh, but don't think I do not enjoy your embrace..."

Aubrey, smirking: "I must have done something awfully good to deserve such a delightful fate... How dreadfully frightening."

Vesa, hugging them back: "What a coincidence, darling! Because you seem to be stuck with me, too."

Narciso, pretending to be serious but with a loving tone to his voice: "So it seems..."

Roswhen, pretending to be shocked: "Oh no! I mean, oh yes! That's just what I wanted."

Elan would just chuckle softly and return the embrace.

The Physician wouldn't exactly mind any of them, but she wouldn't be too interested either. The sky is lovely enough in its natural state.

Aubrey would find both quite festive and nice, but he wouldn't have any strong opinions either.

Vesa would absolutely love both - festive and sparkly. Amazing. She would cheer at the most spectacular fireworks.

Narciso would think that fireworks lit the sky up nicely, but find drone light shows a bit gaudy.

Roswhen would enjoy both greatly and have a lot of fun watching.

Elan thinks fireworks are annoying because of the loud noises, even though they look pretty. He would prefer drone light shows.

The Physician would feel that it wasn't worth it - she would wish that she was grateful, for their sake, but she would be too devastated. They should live.

Aubrey would burn for revenge against whatever they protected him from. That would keep him going, even though he wouldn't feel like himself.

Vesa would cherish their memory with whatever she did. So much would be done in their name.

Narciso would find it wholly unfair. He has had a longer life than them.

Roswhen would be more vengeful than they had ever been before.

Elan would feel a deep sense of guilt and shame.
