the asks are piling up already lol so here are some initial thoughts on the trailers from today (in order of release, BL/GLs are marked with a 🏳️‍🌈, favorites with a 🌟):

Ossan's Love Thailand 🏳️‍🌈🌟: HELP this looks so chaotic lmao. I forgot about the show for a second and thought we were in for another EarthMix office romance kjdhgd. But yeah I have a very soft spot for Earth in chaotic slapstick roles and Mix fits in there just perfect as well. I have not seen the original and was concerned as a lot of people said it's not very good but I had a very good time with this trailer and I'm excited!!! .

Leap Day 🌟: I've been curious about this project ever since that casting call for younger versions of Dew and Pond lol and the trailer did not disappoint! The story seems interesting and I know Gun will eat in this role lol. It's going on my watchlist. .

The Heart Killers 🏳️‍🌈: **edit: not gonna lie, initially I was very disappointed by this. I was excited for the Jojo show but this seemed very random to me. I couldn't follow the story and the trailer just seemed like FK and JD were given a few guns and thrown into a dark setting which just seems like a clash of NLMG and OF. If JD weren't there, I would think this is a SandRay spinoff lol. I now know about the Shakespeare adaption which does change the way I view it a little bit but I still have concerns because I still have no idea what's going on lmao. I was hoping for something simpler and calmer for FK's new project so I really hope the show will be better than the trailer. .

Friendshit Forever: Legit thought this was a GL for the first 30 seconds of the trailer lmao but turns out it's another Beauty Newbie type of toxic friendship lol. I love the vibe though!!! the cast is amazing, Pat never fails to deliver and my girl Mook is back as well!! 🥺 I'm very much into the energy and the chemistries are on point as well. Sign me up!! .

Perfect10 Liners 🏳️‍🌈: If I took my glasses off I would think this is We Are season 2 lmao like do we really need another gay ensemble. And there's SO many others as well??? There were like 30 people on that stage lmao. New really said who doesn't have a job this year? done. I don't know what else to say, it looks very generic. I didn't expect PerthChimon to be part of an ensemble for their second bl and I sure did not expect ForceBook to get their 5th gig lmao. Good for them though. I'm still gonna take a look. .

Us 🏳️‍🌈🌟: YES I LOVE THIS 😩😭 I was hoping we would get another GL and I loooove the energy of this. It's giving all the COA vibes and I'm SO glad it's not another highschool romcom. 23.5 is nice but I'm so happy this is taking it one step further. I'm here for it. Emi was born for sapphic roles you can't change my mind lmao and her chemistry with Bonnie is on point. Simple story, big emotions and a strong cast - This is right up my alley. It's going on my list for sure. .

Hide & Sis: The title still cracks me up lmao but YES this is everything lol. The PLL/PSIHY vibes are STRONG and I love it. Snap25 never fails to deliver us badass girl gangs and I'm here for it. The toxic family trope is generic for these types of shows but if it's done right it works. And I think this will. Sign me up! .

Heart That Skips a Beat 🏳️‍🌈🌟: god don't even touch me this looks so lovely 🥹 I'm always down for a good idol x mundane romance lol and EstWilliam are a good pair for sure. It was kind of obvious that they would get something together but I'm still very excited. I didn't expect the whole LYKN group to be in it but I feel like this plot fits them very well. Plus the trailer is absolutely beautiful. Thumbs up!! .

Break Up Service: This looks meh to me, I'm surprised to see Jorin lol I didn't know she was acting. The story seems fun but the trailer did not catch my attention. It's a maybe for now. .

Revamp 🏳️‍🌈: Honestly I did not expect them to give us another trailer for this lol I was set on a different project for BounPrem. But yes this looks very expensive lmao and I'm hyped we're getting another vampire show this year. I also approve of the other cast members, especially Kay since I haven't seen him in forever lol and also Santa!! I will be tuning in! .

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist 🏳️‍🌈🌟: *starts vibrating violently* YES I FEEL NORMAL ABOUT THIS kjshdf call me crazy but this is my highlight of this lineup lmao. I got deeply attached to MarkOhm over the last few months and this is all I could ever ask for lmao. Ohm is my little squish and my boy Mark finally got his main role 😩 I'm so proud. The plot is not the most sophisticated lol but I am SEATED. GIMME. .

Dark Dice: This did not intrigue me whatsoever. Pass. .

The Ex-Morning 🏳️‍🌈: Anyone who spent any time on the internet in the last few months knew this was bound to happen lmao. I feel torn about it, K. is not off the hook but KS were my very first bl on-screen couple and I'm feeling very nostalgic about this comeback lol. I'm fond of the trend to bring back OG couples and I'm not gonna lie, yes, it looks good. The story is interesting and the fact that they play exes,,,, art imitates life lol. I think this genre suits them and hey, maybe this will become the second Cherry Magic. Let's see how it goes. .

Scarlet Heart Thailand: The trailer gave us next to no information, I'm guessing that if you saw the original you might have a better idea of what's going on but other than pretty costumes, this didn't give me much ground to make a judgement on lol. Let's see.

conclusion: All in all this lineup seems a lot more colorful than part 1 which is very exciting!! It had the typical light-to-dark structure that the first part (and all the previous ones) had as well but it's still more diverse than I was expecting. There are some disappointments and concerns but compared to part 1, this has a lot more promising projects that I will be tuning in for - Even the lakorns. I spent a lot of time on Twitter leading up to the event, so almost everything I put on my bingo card became reality lol. I noticed some changes in the production of the trailers where it seems that they are more carefully made and edited and I found myself connecting emotionally with them a lot more than in part 1. Overall I'm very happy with this lineup and I will be putting all of these shows on my watchlist with the exception of 1 or 2, which is something I couldn't say about part 1. Thumbs up!! 🧡

being the chubby/curvy girl my whole life i have most definitely felt insecurity, so i wanted to incorporate this into a fic to bring comfort to all the others out there who know what this feels like. we all deserve to feel confident and beautiful! size never matters. on top of this, i think lo’ak would be an amazing partner in this situation and would know exactly what to do 🥹

°˖➴ warnings: fem human reader, chubby/plus size reader, insecure reader, l-bombs, lo'ak comforting and reassuring you 🥹 - muntxate: female spouse/mate, muntxatan: male spouse/mate, sevin: pretty

being a human around the omatikaya and being mated with the olo'eyktan's son was enough to warrant stares every time you walked past. the concept was odd to the omatikaya people, but luckily your mate's family understood your relationship and accepted you into their family with open arms. despite this, there was something that always threw you off when you sauntered into the village every morning. you took note of how the omatikaya analyzed your body, scanning over your curves and plump tummy, presumably judgmental looks plastered on their faces. the insecurity you already harbored due to your body became intensified and all you could really do was hold it in. you were envious of the na'vi, slender and tall bodies with the ability to move around nimbly. you would never be like them.

the insecurity slowly crept up, but when it hit it hit hard. you admired how your brother spider wore a loincloth just like the na'vi, body exposed as he freely moved around. you normally would wear a tank top or slightly cropped shirt along with shorts, but now you'd wake up every morning and dress yourself in jeans and a hoodie, desperate to hide your body. you would sweat to death as the weather on pandora was so warm, but you couldn't allow yourself to dress how you previously did. lo'ak intently observed the outfit changes, seeing how uncomfortably warm you got under your clothes and wondering why you chose such attire. he even secretly spoke to spider and asked if something was wrong, but all spider did was shrug and give a vague response. lo'ak would lie awake at night and wrack his brain for an answer, wondering what was up with his mate.

you entered the village early in the morning, spider far ahead of you as he ran to scare kiri. you giggled softly as you watched her jump, approaching lo'ak who was finishing up some fruit outside the sully hut. "muntxate, morning" lo'ak hums, bending to wrap an arm around you before pulling your mask off for a kiss. you smile and kiss back sweetly, cupping his cheeks as best you can in your tiny hands. "sleep okay?" you ask, looking up at him while you quickly put your mask back on, "mhmm not too bad, what about you?" he presses a kiss to your head before swallowing his last piece of fruit, "not too bad either, missed you" you lean into him, his touch being your favourite thing in the entire universe. "missed you more" he whispers and rests his chin atop your head, tuk approaching you both and grabbing your hands. "come on, we are gonna swim in the pond!" she giggles and starts to yank you both in the direction kiri and spider were already headed in. you smile at her and allow her to drag you there despite the pounding in your chest; there was no way you'd swim with them.

once you reach the pond tuk goes to drag you in but you stop her, "i don't know if i'm in the mood to swim, but you go ahead! i'll watch!" you squeeze her hand and watch as she frowns before leaping into the pond. lo'ak turns to you, his head bowing to look down at you, "you okay, sevin?" you nod in response, "mhmmm, just not in the mood, you go ahead if you want" you trail your hands down his long arms as he inspects your facial expression, deciding that something is wrong. "you're not though, tell me please..." he whispers, his massive hands swallowing yours. "lo'ak..." you breathe out, feeling as though you are curling in on yourself. he was too observant that he spotted your uneasiness from a mile away. "guys, y/n and i are gonna take a walk" he notifies everyone before starting to walk back towards the village, stopping at the tree of souls and sitting down underneath it. he gestures for you to join him, you settling beside him and fiddling with your hands out of nervousness. "sevin... what is wrong? you started to wear different clothes lately which maybe wouldn't seem off but i can tell there's something more, something bothering you. i'm your mate, let me help you through whatever is going on, please" he pleads, hand cupping your chin and making you face him.

you bite your lip as tears fill your eyes, gaining the courage to explain your insecurity to him, "it's my body, lo'ak... i hate it" you whimper, tears now rolling down your cheeks and pooling in your mask. his eyes soften as he watches you, pulling you into his lap. "why do you hate it? babygirl you're beautiful, beyond beautiful even" he runs his hands up and down your sides, wishing he could feel more of you. "i see the way the people look at me... i'm not like the na'vi. you are all slim, so thin and tall. i'm bigger, plush tummy and wide hips and thick thighs... i can't help but feel so out of place, i wish i didn't look this way" your tears are constant now, hands having a vice grip on lo'ak's shoulders.

"hey... i know it's hard, you don't look like everyone else here, but that is what makes you beautiful. you are different. who cares what the people think? all that matters is that you know how perfect you truly are. and i love your body personally, your tummy.." he runs his hands across your stomach, "wide hips..." his hands grip your hips, "your thighs..." he brings his hands down to squeeze them then finally rest on them. "your body is perfect, no matter what anyone else has to say..." you smile at him in appreciation, cheeks still wet from tears. "thank you, muntxatan.. thank you so much" you hug around his neck tightly, nuzzling into his warmth. "you don't have to thank me, it's true and i'll do anything to prove it to you" he whispers, lips pressing a gentle kiss on your head. "i love you" you murmur, twirling a braid around your finger, "i love you too" he whispers back before grabbing the bottom of your sweater, "can i put my hands under, please? haven't felt you in so long..." you nod and he slides his hands underneath the sweater, caressing your curves so gingerly as if you were a sculpture made of glass. "beautiful, so beautiful..." he croons softly, delicately feeling up your body which he admires so much. you were different, but you were his.

I'M ACTUALLY ALMOST DONE WITH THE NEXT CHAPTER🥹🙏 I'M SORRY IT'S TAKEN SO LONG...I just checked and I haven't updated since May 1st😫 this chapter is really crazy...and I've been having lots of difficulty pulling everything together and writing well😔🙏

Here's a little excerpt...💓

Her father barely gave her time to get to her feet, legs still shaking and fingers visibly trembling before he would cast that terrible spell again: Legilimens.

Eloise found that she could last a few seconds, staring defiantly into her father’s eyes, before it would become too much and she would collapse. She vaguely wondered if everyone felt the same when their memories were invaded so, or if it were just another show of her disgusting weakness.

She could tell that her father was holding back today. He wasn’t ripping into her memories and tearing them up like he had been the day before; this time, he was focusing specifically on the same group of memories that had to do with the day she was removed from their family and banished. Maybe it was curiosity for how she perceived the day, but whatever it was, Eloise hated reliving the worst day of her life over and over again. The day she had lost everything. The day it had been confirmed to her that she didn’t belong, would never belong. (Of course, before it had happened, she had long-sensed it coming: more and more frequently, she had spent entire weeks in her room, alone, without being able to leave.)

The emotions burning and tearing her apart were going to leave only a charred husk of herself in their parlor if they kept this up for much longer. It had been so long since she had thought about that day, and she would have preferred to never remember it again. If she thought her memories had faded since they happened, she had quickly learned that the assumption was erroneous.

“You need to clear your mind of all emotions, fool girl,” her father spat. Eloise took advantage of the fact he was talking to collapse into an armchair to her right. The bright light of the late morning was filtering through the windows and even though it was the end of October, it felt warm. She sat with her head cradled in her hands, not caring that she was being frightfully disrespectful by not looking up at him with her usual composure. Sweat trickled down her neck, her breathing was uneven. “How could a daughter of mine let herself get so carried away by hysteria? You’re a Babbit. So show me. Get up.”

Eloise got to her feet and shuffled over to stand in front of her father again. She tried to clear out her mind. Compartmentalize and fold everything that made her her into a small, tiny, insignificant thing that could be shoved into a corner. Picture a smooth pond, a drop of dew from a leaf suspended above, slowly rolling off the leaf and falling into the center of the pond, the ripples slowly circling out perfectly and look…there…was another perfect drop, about to fall into the middle of the pond and -

Loud, shaking footsteps came closer and disturbed the peaceful stillness of the pond and all of a sudden she was being tossed around by huge waves, salt and bile filling her mouth and she couldn’t breath, and then she was eleven years old and gasping for breath and bleeding on the very floor she was currently lying on, five years later.

Eloise was at her father’s mercy once again. She couldn’t move. Imprisoned inside her mind.

Her parents were both looming over her, an unimaginable disgust she had never seen before marring both of their beautiful faces. Theirs had always been a cold beauty - faces carved from marble, cut-glass features and generally impassive. She couldn’t make out the words they were hissing at her, but the hatred was something tangible that she could feel and it would stick with her forever. It was an oppressive and dark and overwhelming feeling. Her mother raised her wand, no doubt to cast another -

But her father grabbed her mother’s hand and whispered something in her ear. She nodded and slowly lowered her wand, and then they were both gone. Eloise doesn’t know how long she had laid there, bleeding and gasping, before Leo burst through the door, face wild. He had only finished his first year of Hogwarts - was only twelve-about-to-turn-thirteen, and yet it was on his shoulders to try and nurse his sister back to life. Loli appeared and silently assisted, holding her healing hands over the cuts as Leo cleared away the blood.

Eloise had remained silent the whole time, swallowing up any tears that threatened to spill out and staring up at her brother with solemn eyes. They both knew it was the last time they would ever see each other, and she had already ruined it enough with the blood. She opened her mouth to speak, to say something, try to reassure him that it - that she - would be okay, but no words came out.

“I expect you to continue practicing your Occlumency,” her father said as he extracted himself from her mind and looked down at her with disgust.

The weirdest thing happened: I was listening to NuNew's cover of this song (listen- I'm aware I discover a lot of songs through him but he IS my favorite performer dsjshdhhs) and got real confused because I was able to sing along right away but cannot for the life of me recall how I knew this song already! I hadn't seen the MV, no one I follow seems to have covered it, and I didn't know the artist at all?? It remains a mystery to me but I've played it endlessly since then. I don't remember how I originally found it but it's one of those songs that routinely has me singing along. The title translates to 'From now on every love song will be yours'. I love the lyrics a lot!

This is one of many songs and artists I discovered on that one afternoon-turned-evening-turned-night when I decided to start tracking down every song Amp Achariya has had a hand in (I then realized I was in over my head and that she'd worked on so. many. more. than I ever expected and that my spreadsheet skills weren't sufficient to catalog them lol). Needless to say, Matcha is incredibly talented and I've so far only scratched the surface of her discography.

CW: Very BRIEF description of maskless Vessel.

The crickets chirped loudly as the two of you walked through the quietness of the night. You and Vessel had been on a date and were just getting back in in the early hours of the morning. It was a warm summers night and out in the distance, there was a faint thunder while the sky buzzed with electricity. It was rare you got him all to yourself for more than an hour at a time – he was a busy man, but he made sure to take the time out of his schedule to spend time with you.

Dinner at your favorite restaurant – the quaint little deli downtown, and a walk back home along the pond. He was wearing khaki’s and a black button up shirt and you realized how strange it was to see him dressed in anything outside of his stage gear you had grown so accustomed to seeing him in over the past few months, but he was as handsome as ever with his hair tied back at the nape of his neck in a small bun. You were walking along beside of him, arms tangled together as the quiet thunder carried on above your heads.

“You’re quiet,” he spoke, his deep voice drawing you out of your thoughts, “What’s on your mind, darling?”

“Just taking it all in for a moment,” you shrugged, “It’s rare I get a quiet moment with my man lately.”

“Has been kinda crazy here lately, hm?” He gave you a lopsided grin.

“Yep,” you smiled softly, “Wouldn’t trade it for the world, though…seeing you so happy and at your peak creative-wise.”

He pressed a kiss to the top of your head and sighed softly, pulling you tighter into him. A few more blocks and you were walking into your front yard of the house you shared. You had spent endless amount of hours out here, weeding and planting flowers, making it your happy place. Vessel always made sure to compliment you on the progress of the gardens, but tonight, as you were unlocking the front door he called your name just as you were about to step inside of the house.

“Yeah?”

“Come dance with me,” he said, holding a hand out to you.

“Dance with you?” You grinned, “It’s dark-“

“C’mon,” he said, curling his pointer finger at you, “You know you want to.”

You bit back your smile as you walked back down the steps, dropping your bags and slipping your shoes off. The plush grass had a bit of dew forming, chilling your toes instantly as you walked through it and over to him. He laced your fingers tighter as he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into him before he slowly started swaying.

“There’s no music,” you laughed, looking up at him.

“We don’t need it,” he shrugged, the warmth of his hand radiating through the thin fabric of your clothes on your lower back as he rested his forehead against yours, bringing your hand up to his mouth before he kissed your knuckles, “Do we?”

“No,” you smiled up at him.

“We can make our own,” he quirked a eyebrow at you, causing you to laugh and shake your head, “You are my favorite instrument to play…you make the prettiest sounds for me.”

You felt the heat rise to your cheeks as the meanings of his words sunk deep into your core. He always did have way of making you blush, even now after spending a few years together. You stood up on your tiptoes, your fingers locking together behind his head as you placed a kiss to his lips – a kiss that was meant to be sweet and chaste, but he had other plans apparently. His hands roamed under the back of your shirt, calloused fingers scratching the ticklish skin of your sides as he hummed into your kiss.

“Let’s go upstairs,” you whispered, gently tugging on his hair, earning a sly grin from him as he stood back up to his full height, towering over you. He cradled your head to his chest, his arms pulling you in as he hugged you to him.

“In a bit, yeah?” He whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, “I just wanna dance with my girl for a bit longer.”

I have under my belt 100 teacher training hours of "Restorative Yoga for the Elderly." I made it my excuse to live and study in Singapore some time in 2011 under the guise of wanting to guide my Mom to gently stretch in her old age. Her Alzheimer's was detected early so I think (looking back) this was my mad scramble to fight the anxiety that came with my Mom's diagnosis. Pattern shows that my default coping mechanism is to study. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was still all right then, save for a worrisome fall (which prompted the revealing brain scan) and the usual forgetfulness that comes with being a Mom (aka kulit) - she was definitely still A1, tiptop, sharp as they come.

Most of us kids went to Singapore with her that year, my brothers to catch the F1 in Sepang, and the girls stayed in our Ate's apartment. Mom made us walk and walk and walk and walk around Singapore because walking was her thing. She super enjoyed wading around that fake beach shoreline in Vivo City's rooftop - when she waved at me to join her, and I said, "Is the water chlorinated?" She rolled her eyes at me - without saying a word she commanded me to take my shoes off, put them aside, and wade shin deep across a mall pond to her side.

We (again) walked and walked and walked in circles, mall-water sloshing the tips of our jeans chatting about real beaches we've been to.

Even though she thought it silly that I was studying superslow yoga in a Buddhist temple she still humored me by doing the stretches I taught her. She was often distracted and impatient and would say "let's just have coffee and chat" instead. When I was done with the teacher training course, I showed her my certificate and she asked me solemnly if I converted to Buddhism; it turned out she was worried that I was going to that Buddhist campus everyday for faith reasons. I assured her I wasn't and slightly reprimanded her because even if I did decide to become Buddhist she should still love me. (my turn to roll my eyes) 😉 She looked relieved.

I usually let Mom have her way, in fact many of our "scheduled yoga sessions" ended up being long walks around our village and then we'd end up in our parish church somehow (coincidentally daw) always in time for 6pm mass. 😳

I'd often hear her tell my brothers saying, "Na isahan ko si Gangging, akala niya walking-walking lang kami, tapos napasimba ko bigla!" then she'd laugh her infectious laugh while I pretend to look like I lost a championship match. She enjoyed winning, and though it was WAY different when I was younger (I may have inherited this 'win or die' gene from her) but when we both got older I (surprise surprise) learned to enjoy losing to her.

I vividly remember the last long walk we took (I didn't know then that it was to be the last but maybe I did) - Brother (JunBads) and I took one elbow each and we walked slowly up and down our street. I remember she told Merl (her trusty healthcare partner) that she need not come along and to stay home because she'll be okay with us kids. I didn't think much of it then but I think that was probably her telling Merl how happy she is that we were both there to accompany her on her usual walk.

While walking I asked her why she didn't use a cane or a walker and she said "What for? I have lots of children, five for each arm." 🥹 She would point to our shadows - stretching and fading, shrinking and moving as we walked beneath streetlamp after streetlamp. She said "I'm really the shortest now! I'm even shorter than my last two eggs." (again, the laugh) 🪺

She referred to us (Brother and me, her 2nd batch kids, number 9 and number 10) collectively as "her last two eggs." It became a joke that always showed up in our Easter cards and even in the dwindling text greetings.

I stopped doing yoga completely as things got busier, Mom got less and less mobile, and I was getting more and more ill at ease with silence, stillness scared me; I hated the quiet because I was wrestling with anticipatory grief. (More on this another time, remind me to write about it.) I stayed in the noise and the funk and the speed and the dribble and the hustle and the mess of the crowd - all so I don't need to feel the crush of the Alzheimer's wall closing in, so I don't always feel the fear of what was to come.

I just spent my first Easter Sunday without my Mom; this 'massive missing' rendered me either weepy or snippy most of Holy Week. I'm sure she's rolling her eyes again at me from wherever.

My friend I hope things are going very well for you and I apologize if I'm spamming the inbox but Rhett Abbott's feral children are back again wreaking all manner of havoc in my brain. I honestly have no idea what kind of bait I'm using in this fuckin pond but the fish are biting alot more than normal lately (lol).

Imagine Rhett's reaction when baby girl comes running back with her siblings and Amy and they're like, "WE FOUND A KITTY UNDER THE PORCH!!!" Rhett takes one closer look at the critter and almost shits himself.

Before he even has a chance to warn the kids, the poor critter sprays them all, Rhett included.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVER 🥹💕💕🥹 need more of his relationship with Michael and more of uncle!Michael before he becomes dad! Michael 🥹❤️

Yes! We love uncle Michael and Oliver time! I’ll do this as a headcanon:

Micheal created his own remixed version of ‘baby shark’ for Oliver and when he played it for him the first time Oliver clapped and sang along the best he could. Lily and Posy danced with him as well and ever since Michael did that, Oliver asks for the song but since he can’t really talk yet it comes out as “do do do” mama and Luke think they’re about to lose their minds from playing the song so much

Michael learned how to change his diaper and asked mama a bunch of questions to help prepare himself for the twins coming along

Oliver loves playing peekaboo and Michael will do it for hours, he also pretends to gobble up his fingers and toes which makes Oliver giggle so much

When it looks like Oliver is about to walk soon, Michael holds onto his hands (Oliver holds one finger of Michael’s) and they walk around the house or the yard

When they’re all on a picnic Michael Carrie’s him along the small walkway of a garden and points out all the flowers to him then they look at all the ducks on the pond. Ok we points for each one and quacks.

One night when Luke and mama want to go on a date, Michael and Crystal babysit for them. It’s easy with the girls but Oliver is a bit fussy because he’s so used to having Luke and mama with him. Michael tried playing baby shark, playing peekaboo but Oliver is still crying until Crystal holds him. Michael loves seeing her with Oliver but then he panics because how will he be able to calm his own children when he can’t help Oliver? After he’s calmed down and ate his dinner, he cuddled with Michael until he fell asleep and Michael’s worries were gone

Oliver and Michael have a special bond and he’s definitely going to spoil Oliver with gifts on his birthday🥰
