Vampire Cars Halloween Shenanigans

Halloween is upon us and I've finally got a bit for the Vampire Cars AU.

RaoShu

OFC Raoul goes as himself, he just adds more feathers to his wings, horns and a devil's tail and calls himself an incubus

Shu on the other hand pulls out a nine tailed kitsune and kimono costume with little wearable tire spikes (he takes his anime cosplay very seriously)

Lightnesco

Francesco is always on top of the costume game and he goes as a slutty Roman emperor (technically he is the mordern equivalent of a slutty Roman gladiator but he digresses)

Lightning of course goes as a little cowpoke (def. inspired by the @kkelsey--spring's art of Cowboy Lightning

Velomino

Carla is a powerful confident girlboss and she's a fearsome melanistic jaguar girl: whiskers, spots and all

Miguel on the other hand is her little man in an inflatible bull costume

Schnenai

Nigel our proper British gentleman goes as Aziraphale from Good Omens, little wings and halo

Max is his Crowley, even with intricate details of snake scales and colored snake eye contacts

Jeffwis

Lewis is a pirate, looking for the elusive American booty; dreadlocks and sword at hand

Jeffy is the poor cabin boy that Lewis had picked up

GeGe/JieJie/Long ta has chosen to appear as a dragon in human form: billous tail, shining dragon pearl in clawed hand and antlers

Vitaly instead opts for Koschei the Deathless, his withered form and still clutching the needle in the egg in the duck in the hare in the locked

I created all of the Long Ge relationships in the Pixar Cars fandom. Mostly aiming for relationships that mirror Hetalia ships like Rochu and Nichu.

So mostly Long Ge x Vitaly Petrov and Long Ge x Shu Todoroki. Also made a Long Ge x Finn McMissile in an AU in my Kinktober where Ge Ge was a triad boss and caught an undercover Finn.

Vampire Cars at a Private Pub

*Takes places after the events of the Vampire Cars 2 AU*

Pub song has my most favorite verse lyrics in Neath! a Fallen London Song by The Stupdendium. At about 7:48.

Every now and then, the vampiric WGP racers and C.H.R.O.M.E spy often find themselves in a pub that is set deep underground, far from the scorching sunlight (as if London could get sunny but no one wants to risk that after the Buckingham Palace incident). Mostly to commiserate on their unrunning state.

Leland Turbo starts off the song after a sip of both Rod and Finn's donor fuel. The bluish gray eyes wavering in melancholic determination as the spy car set his glass down with a sigh.

"Every worried soul in this sorry hole. Lost, forgotten and with all tomorrows stole."

Raoul Caroule then picks up the song, Shu's donor fuel now with the hint of the sweet blossoms of his home country. Hints of resentment and vengeance flicker blood red flecks in the icy blue.

"Dead and buried but the dead are very much aware of it and hell, they've paid a horrid toll."

Max his best friend rubs a tire on his elongated wing mirrors. His own raspberry hued eyes shifting slowly to his once previous indigo as he nursed a pint of Nigel's fuel.

"How'd we'd come to be? Down here underneath? Doubt we'll ever feel the sun upon our cheeks."

Carla scoffs as she downs Miguel's fuel in one fell swoop, her blue green paint job creating frost in proximity on her glass.

"Never see another summer but we've one another lust or comfort, love or some relief."

Lewis grumbles under his breath as he tried to focus on the bright sunny smile of Jeff (not just when the engine hitched and sent that mouthwatering aroma into his vents), toying with his own glass of donor fuel.

"Someone to hold me tightly. Someone to treat me rightly. Someone to come down to shun the ennui and boredom."

Long Ge helpfully added his own commentary, sharp electric blue eyes and slitted pupils as he swiped a streak of Vitaly's fuel with a forked tongue off his bumper.

"With one to hold me closely nights mightn't be so lonely. Stranded helpless in the dark and reaching for them."

Francesco's vulnerability was seen in just a millisecond but soon his typical Italian bravado was drawn over his face like a sheet over a cadaver. Although none of the other patrons in the pub bought that for even an instant as he sipped delicately at Sally and Lightning's fuel.

"London town laid to rest underground, but still yet deeper down are we falling, falling, falling, falling."

All of the vampiric cars join in as one at the conclusion of the song, clinking their drinks together to toast their unrunning lives.

I've recently gotten to listen to Epic the Musical, which retells the Odyssey and the Illiad.

Inspired by @buqingshan's fanart of Snake Spirit! Long Ge and the Done For LMK Animatic on Youtube

Snake Spirit! Zhang Wei Long fits in so perfectly with the song Done For in Circe's parts. At first Zhang presents as a human JieJie to lower the guards of people currently invading his home and then turns them into snakes. Then when Vitaly comes to check on his missing crew, Zhang tries the same trick but binds him with his own transformed men as he sheds the glamour.

The raven black hair bleaches itself to pure white, the pupils thin and elongate into serpentine slits, patches of scales ripple under his eyes and the tail emerges out from the back of his scaled changshan.

Zhang Wei Long now introduces himself as the servant to Xiangyao/Xiangliu and confronts Vitya.

L'Origine du Mal AU

Inspired by the real life story of Le Genie du Mal by Guillaume Geefs and L'ange du Mal by Joseph Geefs

In this AU, Long Ge adopts Shu Todoroki as an apprentice in sculpting and is the hot artist to commission art from. One day, Shu gets a contract to make a statue in a church about the fall of Lucifer. As he works on sketching out the design, a winged figure with silver hair keeps visiting him in his dreams, whispering temptation of sins of the flesh into his ears. When he wakes up in the morning, there are unexplained marks on his body that he swears were not there when he was awake. Then he meets the model for the finished sketch, a certain French circus performer that eerily resembles his nightly visitor, only with dark brown hair.

His features and body are just perfect for the statue and Shu promises a hefty payment for his time. As he continues working on the statue that becomes more and more like Raoul, the nightly visits get more intimate and Raoul Caroule becomes closer to the budding sculptor. When he finishes the statue and presents it to the church, Raoul mysteriously vanishes with only a note explaining that his circus troupe is packing and moving out and Shu's dreams just become a little more lonelier after his departure. He names the statue Le Messager du Mal or The Harbinger of Evil.

Things are fine for a while until complaints start flooding the church that the statue is causing impure thoughts in the male penitents, feathers are found on the church floor not belonging to any bird and some of the priests swear that the eyes of the statue follow them no matter where they go, watching even through walls and doors. Long Ge gets involved in a heated argument with the church on what to do with the work and a compromise is worked out that Shu's statue is moved out from the church and placed into a museum while Long Ge takes over for the church commission.

Shu drowns out his sorrows and drunkenly rambles about Raoul Caroule and the fun dreams he's been having to Long Ge one night and as he takes him back home, a little devil inside him has an idea. Upon getting Shu's permission to look at the sketches of Raoul Caroule, he sends a letter to Vitaly Petrov, an old flame to pose for the church statue and ramps up all of the demonic and sexy elements from the previous statue. No one gets to insult his apprentice's work and gets away with it.

Shu is starting to see his night demon again, only a bit more fuzzier and ethereal than before. He feels more ghostly and cold compared to the burning hot of previous times. This time, he manages to grab hold of the spirit to get a better look at him.

It's Raoul Caroule but with horns, feathered bat wings and a thorned tail and icy blue slitted eyes full of fear as he vanishes from the dream, leaving behind only a few silvery gray feathers in the real world for Shu to find.

Meanwhile back with the statue, it is completed and is much more ripped and lean with all of the addition stipulations that the church requested from him. Long Ge has a feeling that Vitaly and Raoul are much more connected. He adds the tear on the new statue to symbolize the sorrow that Shu felt for the removal of the previous statue. He names it L'Origine du Mal or The Origin of Evil and forces the church to keep the statue as recompense for the removal of The Harbinger of Evil.

Raoul keeps avoiding Shu in dreams and real life until Long Ge catches the both of them and forces the two of them to have a nice long chat about what they really want from each other.

Taking a page from the original folklore, both Zundapp and Sterling manage to spike the drinks and food in a post-race party with realgar powder (ruby sulfur or sulfide arsenic known in Chinese folklore to ward off and debilitate snakes).

Long Ge is forcibly outed as he reverts back to his cobra form and has to hide and move without being seen by the other racers and the other partygoers. He almost gets chopped into pieces until he slithers right under Vitaly's suit and coils around him.

Vitaly now has to worry about getting Long Ge to safety, not getting bitten, while on the look out for Zundapp's cronies and Sterling's associates.

To finally conclude MerMay 2024: an adjacent AU involve my other OTP: Long Ge x Vitaly Petrov set in the Madame White Snake, a Chinese folktale

Long Ge is actually a leucistic Chinese cobra that has a dream of racing. He takes literal centuries to cultivate to gain a human form (that still retains some snake feature like patches of scales, venomous fangs, forked tongue, etc). Once he enters into the racing world of the DTM/WTCL (the same racing circuit that Max Schnell is in), he kicks off the relationship with Vitaly Petrov as heated rivals (kind of a Lestappen vibes).

Gradually both of them warm up to each other and one party, Long Ge drinks too much alcohol and starts changing back into his animal form. Vitaly notices this and makes an excuse to leave the party early and Long Ge shifts into his naga form just in the nick of time as both of them get back to the hotel room.

The Russian is a bit terrified of snakes but is still concerned about the Chinese racer as the long white tail coils around him and Long Ge snuggles into his body heat.

After Long Ge becomes sober again and asks what happened to Vitaly, the Russian explains everything and Long Ge freaks out, worried that he told someone about his true form and that he was being hunted down at that moment. Vitaly reassures him that he didn’t and promises that he won’t as long as Long Ge isn’t ready to. But, Professor Zundapp, a stereotypical mad scientist, overhears this and tracks down Sterling, a much more successful entrepreneur and scientist, to work with him to catch Long Ge in his true form at any given point and capture him so they can research him and profit off of him.

A Sliding Scale of Snake Spirit!Zhang Wei Long's Forms

Feral!Long Ge

Basically your average leucistic Chinese cobra bout near 2 meters long

Has more dark gray scales than black, the sharp blue eyes, the marking on the back of his hood, venomous fangs, *cough* other snake features involved with reproduction

Cannot physically speak but communicates through mix of snake body language and human quirks

Likes cuddling around Vitaly Petrov for warmth

Reverts to this form when all spiritual energy and cultivation is exhausted from even maintaining the naga form

Cannot regulate own body temperature and risks hypothermia

Naga! Long Ge (both scalie and anthro)

Now has hands (clawed for scalie, normal human for anthro)

Retains the large majority of his animalistic features (more cultivation is used to keep up human glamour)

He makes sure that which ever cobra features are kept can be explained away with body modification and personal preference

Ears are slightly pointed (ear cuffs), forked tongue (split tongue operation), fangs (did a bit of dental work), scales on his neck and back (also more body mods, he likes the snake aesthetic), the Chinese cobra hood marking on his back (tattoo)

The tail however? That's a bit harder to explain

Yes he still retains about a 3 ft tail that he keeps curled up under the racing uniform and sneaks a coil around Vitaly's hand when the cameras aren't on

Almond shaped pupils (compromise between the slits and the round pupils)

Food cravings bleed into Long Ge's favorite foods (frog legs and overall more rare meat)

Human! Long Ge

Has zero snake features, only the hood marking back tattoo

Requires all of his spiritual energy to maintain

Only uses it for public appearances (conferences, interviews, shirtless photos and modeling) and racing

Long Ge is often exhausted after maintain it for an extensive time and slips directly into naga form once he is in private to conserve whatever spiritual cultivation is left

Has a slightly lower body temperature than a normal human in this state

More Fun Things about Snake Spirit Zhang Wei Long

When Long Ge gets sick, its a mix of life threatening hypothermia and man flu at the same time

Usually when sick, he's buried under layers and layers of thick blankets with a hot water bottle on him at all times

Favorite sick time meals are pigs trotter soup with youtiao (he's masochistic when it comes to crispy food and sore phlegmy throats like me), warmed Coca Cola with shredded ginger with lemon slices, century egg congee and the occasional unfortunate mouse/rat in his house

Becomes more wary if his snake senses pick up the presence of birds of prey or mongooses in the area

Becomes clingier to Vitaly Petrov since he is the warmest person around during cold days

Vitaly has roughly seen the majority of the snake spirit's shapeshifting (full animal, naga, human with tail and scales, forked tongue and fangs)

He has yet to see the scalie form of Zhang Wei Long (cobra head and neck, human body with the larger tail)

When Vitaly is tired, the Russian WTCL racer can be found resting in the coils of an equally tired Chinese cobra naga

It took Vitya a while to get used to the long forked tongue when kissing Zhang Wei Long (he's more used to the human split tongue)

When it comes for his spring estrus, he'd lock himself in his house and just be satisfying himself day in and day out

Vitaly then offered to help him during the more intense days of the estrus and often ended up not being able to move for a few days and had to be carried by Long Ge

Yes indeed Zhang Wei Long in his naga form has a cloaca and hemipenes with spines too

Zhang has to be extra careful during biting to make sure he doesn't flood Vitya's system with neurotoxic venom

Drunken Snake Spirit Long Ge Part 2: The Morning After

Continuation of the previous post:

At the soft starry tinkling of the alarm on his Huawei phone, Long Ge awakened from his inebriated state. Head still pounding from the previous night, all that the Chinese racer could recall was slamming shot after shot of vodka at the victory party. He could scarcely recall anything after that. After sending out a bit of his own spiritual cultivation to ease the intense headache, he realized that he'd reverted back to his naga form and currently lacking any form of clothing with exception of a jacket he didn't recall ever buying or owning. Also that his hair ribbon had loosened in his sleep, letting his black hair reach to midwaist.

It was now that his eyes now fell upon Vitaly Petrov slumbering on a recliner facing him, jacketless and tucked on himself. He too was awoken by the alarm on Zhang's phone and was staring wide eyed at the half man half snake with an equal mix of horror and fascination. The naga then slithered out from the sheets, revealing his six foot tail that coiled around the stiff Vitya as the sharp slitted blue eyes locked onto his icy blue pupils.

"What never seen a snake get some beauty rest, Vitya? Am I frightful to you, Vitaly Petrov?" Long Ge yawned, exposing his sharp needle thin fangs as the now thin forked tongue lapped at the Russian's cheek. The clawed tipped fingers held Vitya's face as the naga sighed from the heat emanating off from the Russian's face.

"Nyet, were you always like this? Does anyone else know about well...this..." Vitaly's hands were unconsciously drawn to the black colored scales, running the fingertips and marveling at the smooth cool texture. He held his gaze towards the animalistic pupils as he kept his indifferent facade.

"It's been a while since someone saw this form. The last person was Old Man Zhang and he's been dead for at least half a decade. I believe you are the only other person to know of this. I've always been extremely cautious about what features that I show in human form that could be passed off as body modification." The naga shrugged, as the coils tightened slightly around the Russian WTCL racer.

Vitaly Petrov got the impression that Long Ge was still hiding some secrets, but he chose not to comment on that. He let the cold snake bury his head into his chest to leech off some of his body heat as the tail grabbed the sheets from the bed to cover the both of them.

Drunken Snake Spirit Long Ge

Fun little thing for @stickers95, @buqingshan, @longjiaojiao

During a celebration of Max Schnell's victory party, Long Ge gets fuckin' hammered. He rambles and lets out hisses and almost king cobra like growls from him and no one is keen on getting him back to his living quarters. Vitaly volunteers to drag him back, one part of getting some private time out from the cameras.

When the Russian racer picks him up, Long Ge feels a lot heavier than usual but he persists. Long Ge is drunkenly singing "The Real Ludmilla" from Bartok the Magnificent, instead in Cantonese and replacing Ludmilla with himself. As the song progresses he starts shedding his more human appearance and retakes his original snake form.

First it started off with the snake tail replacing his legs (Vitaly had to carry his shoes, socks, pants and underwear and Long Ge starts coiling around him). Then the scales started to creep over all over his body and his fingers turn into claws. Long Ge's teeth start sharpening and Vitaly can feel droplets of venom stain his shirt collar and the split tongue becoming elongated and flicking his ear.

By the time he fumbles for Long Ge's hotel room card key, he's a full Chinese Cobra that snuggles into Vitaly's suit (probably for the best to avoid creating panic in the hotel staff). The Russian stays with the fully animal Chinese racer just to make sure that he won't slither out from his room and might get himself killed. He pools all 1.5 meters of Long Ge into his jacket and sits in a chair, now contemplating on what to do next.

GeGe and Singles Day

Depending on how his on-again-off-again relationship with Vitaly Petrov goes, Singles Days can go a myriad of ways.

If he's broken up with Vitya (for now); he cracks his fingers, fires up the VPN, opens up AO3 and gets typing. Mostly about his fellow racers (he carries the WGP RPF fandom on his back on the Chinese fandom side) with just enough slight changes in names and personalities for his fans to pick up.

Long GeGe knows lots of things, especially when it comes to the relationships between the racers that think they're being subtle about.

Zhang Wei Long has about a dozen smurf accounts just in case if she got reported to the Chinese government, a veritable writer hydra that could reupload the many many fics she's written. But on clockwork, he posts a new multichapter fic on November 11, all for the adoring fans to kudos, bookmark and subscribe along side multitudes of online shop webpages for the best bargains.

If they're still with Vitaly and depending on his racing schedule; they has a knack for finding the best local restaurants and bars to dine and dresses more femme or more androgynous, away from the cameras and fans. Zhang knows that Vitaly is slowly warming up to dating their more masculine presenting form as they toy with their long ponytail over shared meals and drinks, the blush seeping out from the pale tanned skin.

Chick was absolutely sure that he would be the victorious one in this upcoming event. Radiator Springs was holding a scavenger hunt over the course of several days and that whomever found the item the fastest and brought it back would have the winnings donated to a charity of their choice. To even the playing field, the items were sealed airtight so that the vampire cars couldn't use their enhanced senses to immediately find them and there were riddles that hinted to the location of each pair's item.

The super glue, the caltrops and tacks, the road spikes and he'd even gotten himself reinforced for added defense against collision and crashes. He'd sent out his pit crew and Bruiser to add a few new obstacles to discourage any contestants while at the same time help him out in finding the location.

Though the green Buick was not aware of the several pairs of glowing red eyes and elongated wing mirrors watching his every move in the night before. They all collectively decided along with their donors to play along and perhaps a bit of humiliation for the overblown #86 Piston Cup racer.

If not, there was always an option for a bit of a nightly visit (though one at a time since if they all joined in, Chick might have engine block)

The first incident of things going awry for Chick Hicks was the first item. Francesco Bernoulli and Lightning McQueen had tracked down their hidden item right near Firewall Falls as it became the Radiator River, drenched under the thunderous waterfall. The tacks previously laid on the Tailfin Pass were dented and nearly crushed to scrap. Then he had the unfortunate timing to watch the hoity toity Italian car sink his fangs into the rear bumper, and McQueen let out a nearly imperceptible moan as his front fender was submerged in turning the rocks over to find the item. None of the mirror polish in the world would be enough to drown out that scene.

The next one was the one concerning Carla Veloso and Miguel Camino. Their item was located deep in the Tailight Caverns and Chick had taken especially good care of smearing the super glue on every opening to the natural formation. The one thing that he hadn't predicted was the vampiric Brazilian Le Motor Protoype 8 telling her Miguelito to hang on tight and using her tire spikes to leap from sturdy stalagmite to stalagmite, avoiding the ground completely.

Chick's frustration only ramped up with Long Ge and Vitaly Petrov making their way over to Frank's Pasture. Bruiser was nearly shredded by the irate combine when hiding the item in the shed of the giant machine. One of his pitcrew forklifts had noted that Vitaly began to sing in Russian and began to lead the tractors around the grass while the Chinese DTM racer slipped into the shed without a sound. That forklift decided to give Frank a rude awakening and sounded an airhorn right next to the Chinese vampire car. The bright electric blue eyes immediately flash red and he answered back with bestial scream that sent the large combine cowering.

When the rest of Chick Hick's pitcrew finally show up and rescue the forklift, they're practically catatonic.

TW for body horror, vampire food habits, organized crime and implied violence/murder

"Your turn, Mr. Eagle." A colorful bird tile was thrown into the discard pile only to be snatched up by the bespectacled Chinese spy. Drawing another tile, the west wind character joined with its other directional kin.

Two pairs of slitted serpentine eyes sized each other up from the opposite sides of the mahjong table at west and east respectively. The Black Hair snakes could recognize that the being across from them that looked human was definitely not human and that primordial animal instinct of snake fearing the large bird of prey crammed inside a human kept the grave robber wary. Zhaojun had loosened her grip on the grave robber's spine to get a peek out from the esophagus, but then immediately fled down and stayed firmly put in the spine upon seeing the feathered wings. The ochre orange snake eyes then turned to their own mahjong hand, only a pong of seven bamboo with mostly a variety of single tiles. What a trashy hand he was dealt.

The winged being would also pull out a blood bag from Guanyin knows where and add the coppery fluid to their teacup. The name of "Vitaly Petrov" could be made out in the Chinese characters on the label for all players before the emptied plastic was tossed into a biohazard disposal bin. The glowing electric blue eyes, the occasional flash of fangs and the low body temperature were all tell-tale signs of vampirism for the other players.

All of this was carefully noted by the keen eyes of Agent 0012 of the GSO with interest. Snakes parasitizing humans, a vampire if his hunch was correct and a triad laoban in one place. He seen all sorts of wild situations and even slew off an entire syndicate who failed to recognize his contributions and skills and yet these other players were just as if not more dangerous than he was. He'd rather stick with the venomous animals back in the GSO headquarters than be out in the field. Xiangliu's turn was next and both he and the laoban were sizing the discard piles.

"Mahjong." Xiangliu revealed his hand with the four sets of chow (numerical tiles), pong(one of bamboo), kong (five circles) and a pair of white dragons to the other players.

"Not so fast, Xiang-ge. Mahjong" The laoban jie jie revealed her own hand; containing all pong (nine of bamboo, eight of circles, red dragons, and seven of numerical characters). She smiled, pulling down the collar of her burgundy button up to reveal the snowy white tattoo of the nine headed serpent of the GSO agent's namesake.

" I concede to your greater hand, Zhao-jie." Xiangliu pushed his glasses up his nose as the other player's hands were reshuffled back into the center. The obvious alias of Zhao Hede and caught whispers of Feiyan from the tomb raider brought out a small smile on the spy's face. Both of them knew the infamy that the Zhao sisters name carried.

Zhang took the time to grab his own teacup with the black haired snake tail and took an appreciative sip of the flowery tea.

"Odd isn't it? That all of us were drawn here to this game by some interwoven fate..." The tail lightly coiled around the fine porcelain as the WTCL racer replaced the cup back on the table.

Long Ge x Vitaly Petrov (Longvitya) Headcanons

It took a while for the Russian to get used to Long Ge's genderfluidity (*cough* anti-LGBTQIA Russian policies *cough*)

Its more of an inversion from Mikhail and Feilong's relationship from You're My Prize in the Viewfinder

Zhang loves teasing Vitaly in public and private

Both of them bonded over their love of tea and Vitaly even brings a mini samovar on his travels for proper Russian tea

Zhang on the other hand loves trying teas: from boba/bubble, mate, kombucha and herbal blends but his favorite would always be Da Hong Pao

Vitaly roasts when he visits Long Ge's home of Hangzhou in summer and Long Ge freezes when he visits his home in Vyborg, Russia in winter

Vitaly's nickname for Long Ge is Zmey/Змей (Dragon) or Zmeya/змея (Snake) and Long Ge calls him Polar Bear (北极熊)

They look like those old Soviet-Chinese propaganda posters and online rumors and memes of "They were comrades. Oh my god they were comrades."

Long Ge/Jie/Ta loves when Vitaly does their long hair; brushing, braiding or tying it up.

Zhang Wei Long's split tongue was done from a combination of a dare and a reward and Vitaly is very appreciative of it

"Can you believe all of those rumors that the priests are spreading?Always being watched no matter where in the church, piles of icy blue and silver rose petals that smell withered along with piles of feathers. They swear up and down to their God that there are no pigeons that are in the space. Rosaries and bibles torn apart, crucifixes rusting and rotting in pieces, even the chalices and the holy robes scratched up like some giant cat gotten into them. They even started to hallucinate hearing wings flapping and scraping from within the walls and some of the priests even claimed that a creature visited them in their dreams!"

Shu ranted and vented to the French acrobat, unconsciously picking up that Raoul had remained eerily silent through all of the alleged events. The ice blue eyes had taken on a sharp look and busied himself with his double latte, taking a long sip before the brunette European offered his opinion.

"Mon ami, perhaps the priests are seeing demons from every shadow they come across. They cannot handle that your art is beautiful and reflects something that they cannot bear to see within themselves. I could swear that L'Origine du Mal is even more sinful than your own."

Shu couldn't argue against that. He'd seen the Russian coming out from the studio many times in the crack of dawn, with bruises and marks on every bit of exposed skin along with a very smug blue eyed Chinese sculptor rearranging his hair into his braided ponytail.

But something was lingering in mind that could not be articulated in the company of Rao-kun.

Mainly that all of the paranormal activity in the church was mirrored in his studio and room in the duration of creating L'Messenger du Mal. The roses, the snake-like eyes, the feathers, even down to the three scratches and bitemarks that occasionally appeared on his arms, neck,back ,and thighs during particularly inspired carving sessions.

The thorns on the clawed hands and the rose tail ending with the stinger like arrowhead were directly inspired from feeling the sensations during the dreams with the visitor and incorporated into the statue.Shu also had a feeling from that the wings of his demonic dream visitor were hybrid of bat and bird and also carefully shaped the feathers on the top half of the bat wings.

When he told Raoul about these new features, the look on his face was unreadable at first but then shifted into one of joy and pride and congratulated the sculptor upon seeing them.

There's a lot of things that I can combine with Incubus Raoul Caroule and RaoShu. I've combined it with the history of Joseph Geef's L'Ange du Mal and Guillaume Geef's Le Genie du Mal (aka the Hot Satan Statue).

Long Ge takes Shu Todoroki as an apprentice under his tutelage of sculpture and statue making. Then Shu receives a commission from a church to create a statue of a demon to accompany their other statues of angels and saints from Long Ge.

Shu suffers a bit of art block and then the circus rolls into town. Shu is gently persuaded (read dragged out from his studio) to attend a show and then is entranced by the French acrobat with blue eyes and dark brown hair. Later when he meets with the acrobat, he learns his name (Raoul Caroule) and asks him to model for his art. Out of curiosity and on a whim, Raoul accepts and even throws in nude modelling for Shu to sketch out what his statue would look like.

After the first few sketching sessions, Shu's dreams become more darker and strange. It started off with silver and ice blue roses with black brambles all over his dream space. Then came the glowing icy blue eyes and silvery hair and the small piles of dark gray feathers at his bedside. As Shu continues to work on his sculpture (named L'Messenger du Mal or the Messenger of Evil) the being that haunts his dreams makes its presence fully known. It all culminates when he completes his statue and it is installed into the church that the priests are haunted.

There's a big argument between the diocese and Long Ge about the statue inspiring unholy thoughts in the penitents and wanting it removes. The compromise that is worked out is that Shu's statue is moved out into a museum and that Long Ge's statue (L'Origin du Mal or the Origin of Evil).

As a fun little middle finger to the church, he makes his statue resemble his own love, Vitaly Petrov with all of the demonic features ramped up and the body jacked to boot.

But yet even after this entire debacle, Shu still gets those nightmarish and strange dreams, and it seems to happen more commonly the more time he spends around Raoule. His buddy also displays strange behaviors that he’s usually able to hide but sometimes slip out, like his body being far too flexible or something about his face that doesn’t look human.

Shu gets suspicious that Raoule might be the demonic entity that haunts his dreams, but he’s not sure. It seems like very creepy coincidences, but the dots connect far too well…
