#really living up to xir sibling's name#no i will not elaborate <3 /j#his sibling was named raven and they taught her everything he knows#theyre the reason xe escapes to the desert after a few years in the scarecrow program#(though it is for. not great reasons that involves the death of Raven)#ghouls just rly tied into corvids in my mind#he was a crow apprentice. xir sibling was named raven (which is why they're so attatched to ravens). people call his hair 'raven.' she's#always giving/making everyone little trinkets.#just. corvids are a recurring theme with them in my mind#so why wouldn't xe befriend a flock of ravens?? where do you think they get half the materials he uses to make things???#the ravens are surprisingly enticed by the powerpup and ghoul's very patient. so it doesnt take them long to befriend the birds#its kind of ironic that ravens are a motif with ghoul considering her lack of belief in the witch. but even though he tends towards belief#in destroya xe still feels very attached to the birds that their sibling named themself after#plus the ravens are surprisingly good at gifting metal parts and scraps that ghoul uses in various projects#but im rambling <3#long story short: ghoul is rly attached to ravens/corvid imagery and thats literally why i made this ajvdhabdld#also i need to get back into practice drawing birds lmao#killjoys tag#ttlotfk#sketching shit
