Do you ever just look at your dog and feel the need to cry because they’re SO cute?

"bathtime?" yeah, I know about that. you think it sounds fun, huh? like gettin' to roll around in puddles n' stuff? well it ain't. first they take ya to the place where the food lives. 'cept they don't give you food. they put you up high in this big metal hole. ain't no room for your head so you gotta poke it out like you're in a cage. and then they soak ya with... the noodle. you don't even wanna get wet. but if you try to climb outta there, they yell at ya. they put this cold goop all up in your fur, and it don't smell good. they could at least make it smell like cheese for cryin' out loud. and then after they scrub ya up and down, they soak ya to the bone again. and lemme tell ya, you're gonna learn to 'preciate that water. cause when it's gone, hoo boy, you're gonna freeze ya little toe beans off.

and just when you think you're done with all the rubbin' and scrubbin'? when they're all done manhandlin' ya pretty coat? they put you in the towel. dat towel ain't big enough for ya. it's never big enough for ya. me, they gotta give me two on account'a all dis luxurious fur. it's like gettin' hugged by a carpet that ain't even yours. it's a stranger's carpet. makes you feel like ya gonna go bald with all that rubbin'. and the more you try ta squirm your way out, the tighter they hold ya. they says you gotta get "dry" or some mess like dat. whatever happened to sprintin' around da coffee table and lettin' the wind do all the hard work, eh?

by the time you're done, ya gonna be a whole new pup. and it ain't for the better. you're gonna wish you never rolled in that shrimp.
