Sooo i may or may not have become obsessed with the rip!verse (each of your posts make my day and white lighters what a delightful read, holy shit) and i have so many questions! (Pls ma'am... feed us... we need the high quality content you provide...)

1. What is reader's cursed technique? I remember toji saying she had potential upon (brutally) trying to kill her and her examining yuji to... idk, try to seal sukuna, but you've never explicitly said anyting and i am dying to know more (pls help)

2. We all know poor, poor Megumi suffers from the incessant pining between reader and gojo. But what about Yuji and Nobara? And the second years? Do they try to set them together, crossing out the ideas/plans they've already tried, becoming more and more desperate each time it inevitabely fails in the most improbable way? Or does gojo asks for their help?

3. And how could i not talk about the Shibuya Arc? (also known as "gege please for the love of god stop" arc) Where is reader? Did she manage to follow gojo abd watch the... incident unfold? Did she stay behind with Shoko? Did she go with the students? Did she join the kyoto school? How did she react upon learning that gojo was chillin' in his lil cube while the whole world was going to hell? (And did she see Getwo??? What was her reaction??? I have whole scene in mind and am now itching to write it down although i must sleep?? Why??)

prepare for an info dump + general information on rip!mc which I probably should have typed out/ elaborated on earlier LOL

honestly i'm still working out the details but it's probably going to be something along the lines of the ability to suspend time for a person/object with certain conditions that must be met. but once they're met you can hold it for as long as you wish. It’s not exactly an offensive cursed technique, but deadly if utilized properly! it also comes in handy when trying to study curses!

rip!mc is a historian/researcher who classifies curses which is a fascination which was born after geto left. weirdly, it helps you feel closer to him. your research takes you around the country, and even abroad some times (which gojo despises), but you’re more than well equipped to defend yourself. you trained maki with the polearm!!

I also like the idea of them occasionally teaching as an adjunct professor at Tokyo University (grad student MC ftw), so they know what it’s like to be a teacher, although it’s not exactly the same! the semesters you do teach—you occasionally stay with gojo

the reason why toji said that is bc rip!mc caught toji's eye a split second before he stabbed gojo. since you’re very very sensitive to cursed energy and by default, other people, the pure absence of cursed energy made you instinctively turn. toji was referring to the fact that if you honed your skill a little more, you maybe would have even sensed him!

also the reason why rip!mc is more sensitive to cursed energy than gojo is because he probably automatically filters out the sheer number different cursed energies (since the sensory overload would be crazy while rip!mc never really learned to do that and as a result became more attuned to cursed energies in general)

Also more about the cursed seals! Rip!mc is exceptionally good at making seals because of how sensitive they are to cursed energy. In harmonious, you had to gauge sukuna’s overall (at the time) power in order feel out whether or not you could make a good enough seal (the higher ups requested it) to contain sukuna.

Everyone is tired of gojo’s pining. And suspicious at how oddly ignorant you are. When gojo makes himself at home on your lap in the middle of a meeting for the umpteenth time, and you’re completely unfazed, everyone’s like?????

It kinda goes back to how rip!mc refuses relationships because she knows she’s going to die (hazards of the job), and she’s afraid of leaving a lover behind more than anything (childhood trauma. involves parents), and in her head, friends and lovers are two distinctly different things (they really aren’t). Getting over a friend's death is different from getting over a lover’s death (once again, not really, who’s going to tell her???)

And gojo, for as much as he lacks boundaries (ie; has none) tries to accommodate it the best he can although you’ve always been his. shoko always tells gojo that (like always when it comes to rip!mc) he’s jumping the gun, but he shoots her with finger guns and says that he has no idea what she’s talking about :)

Maybe the reason why you’re never home is because you doesn’t want to confront your feelings haha

When it comes to the nosy students. Nobara likes you but can’t fathom gojo in a relationship. Yuji automatically assumes you and gojo are dating. Maki thinks that you can do so much better than that idiot. Panda thinks it’s cute. Inumaki: Salmon. Yuta sees the way gojo “looks” at you but thinks he’s overthinking it, and doesn’t want to say anything.

Megumi, on the other hand, tells everyone to leave it since he’s a bit protective over rip!mc.

the reader was called back from Okinawa as backup and reached tokyo as soon as gojo entered the curtain. he texted her saying not to worry (haha). They entered with shoko and yaga to protect her and the patients. And when she hears that gojo’s been sealed, she’s completely bewildered. Gojo can take care of himself wherever he is, she’s more worried about the students than him tbh LOL (gojo is definitely going to whine about that later)

When megumi’s dropped off by yuji (ugh!!!) this is where it could go either way.

1) Shoko sees how worried you are about yuji, whose cursed energy you picked up before he ran away, and tells you to go. You find him but he runs away from you. If this happened I could see a getwo reunion (I’m hurt, did you already forget my face?) where getwo reaches out to touch your hair and gets stopped by surprise, surprise, original geto deep inside. Cue some more body vs soul philosophical talking points before you eventually meet up with the kyoto gang AND utahime!!!

2) Stay with shoko. Eventually get called to the Kyoto group.

Meanwhile inside the prison realm gojo is playing with a ring the size of your ring finger (how he got the measurement nobody knows)

The business is operating at full speed and today we’ve got a new customer! This lovely long-haired lady in a lovely long dress appeared out of thin air, casually circumventing both my clean hood installation and my No-spawn mods… Is she a witch? Spotting the new face right away, Roland jumps to his feet to greet her and offer her help. You and the gang were all sitting in Topanga's discussing about your lives.

"Guys, I'm finally over Uncle Boing!" Maya exclaims happily.

"I'm glad you gave up your dream on becoming my aunt Maya" Riley says pinching her blonde haired friend's cheeks.

"About time" Lucas mumbles.

You look at him and chuckle at how obvious he is about his feelings for Maya. "Who is Uncle Boing anyway?" You ask.

You see, you only came in the school during the middle of the school year. It was hard at first but you met these 7 people and everything made that better. Soon you didn't struggle. But you still didn't know everybody yet.

"My uncle" Riley replies nonchalantly.

"I think we've established that, I mean, what does he look like and how young or old is he?" you asked rambling about facts you wanted to know.

The gang looked at me and smiled amused. "What?" you asked bothered by all their stares. "Well let's go to Riley's apartment for game night" Farkle announced and with that they all started to pack up. You stood there shocked to see your friends ignore all your questions, so you ended up brushing it off and going up too. You see, they all had it from the moment they met you, they all knew that you and Josh wouldn’t get along. Why? Well you were both fun people in general and you guys were very similar. And the best part, to them anyway, was you were only a year older them making them in your year but being a small enough age gap for Josh.

You all walked in the Matthew’s residence.

“Hi guys” Topanga greets smiling

“Hi mom” Riley smiles warmly

“Ready for game night?” She asks while setting up the table

Riley looks at all of us smiling, “Ready to beat you! RING POWER” she yells grabbing Maya and bringing her to the couch. Maya looks at her goofy friend then whispers something in her ear. “But we have to strategize….” Riley yells nervously then drags Maya to her room. “What was that all about” You asked generally confused. “It’s just Riley and Maya, aren’t you used to it by now?” Farkle explains. “Yeah it’s just odd” You say shaking your head.

They come out grinning at you and the boys. “Okay this is just creepy” you say eyeing the two girls. But what you failed to see was the boys grinning at each other too… Along with Smackle.

“Who could that be?” You thought to yourself.

“I don’t know” Riley says in a I-know-who-but-im-pretending-not-to voice

You shook your head smiling as Lucas opened the door. And there you saw the most gorgeous man ever. He was tall, had black hair and had an incredibly charming smile. “Hi kiddies” The gorgeous man says walking in and waving at everyone. “Who are you?” You ask confused. “That’s my line” he laughs. “Uncle Josh, this is y/n. Y/n, uncle Josh” Riley introduces. “Hi” You say waving shyly. “Hi back” he winks

“OKAY WE’RE PLAYING THE GAME OF LIFE” Corey says running in the room with a box. “You serious?” You ask confused. “Dead serious now go pick a partner” he says setting up the board game. You turn around to see everyone paired, Riley and Maya, Lucas and Farkle, Cory and Topanga (duh), Ava and Auggie and Zay and Smackle. “Come on guys, who’s going to be my partner” You whine. “And that, that right there, that right there that you said, would probably be me” Josh says patting the seat beside him. You blush and walk over to him. “Well since we’ll be a team, I’m f/n l/n but you can call me y/n”

“Joshua, Joshua Matthews, but call me Josh” he says winking yet again.

You and Josh play the game finding out you have a lot in common. “And yeah I laughed so hard milk ran up my nose” You said finishing your story. It was the end of the first half of your game and you were all telling jokes and sharing stories. Everyone laughed at your story, including josh, in fact, he laughed the hardest. Everyone could see that you two looked cute together. “MATTHEWS THE SNACKS ARE ALL GONE” Maya yells getting out of the kitchen. “Gone? We bought a whole grocery cart of snacks” Topanga says looking at Corey. “You did buy that much…… right?” She says glaring at Corey. “I did I swear” Corey says raising his hands up. We all look at the kitchen to see if what Maya says is real. Then we saw Ava eating all the chips and snacks. “You got no snacks no more” she says stuffing her mouth. Topanga rolls her eyes and grabs Corey, “We’ll be back soon, we just need to buy more snacks”

And with that, they were out the door.

“So y/n” Josh begins. “Hold up Matthews, we need to talk” Maya says walking in and grabbing Josh.

“I guess I’ll talk to you later?” Josh shouts following Maya into Riley’s room.

“What is it Riles” Josh asks staring at the hyperactive brunette. “You like y/n/n don’t you” she asks grinning. “what no i don’t” he says quickly…. too quickly in fact. “Suuuuuuuure” she replies locking the door. “Now why’d you do that kiddie?” Josh asks walking towards the door. Riley blocks it then answers “Because you have feelings for y/n now sit” she says pointing to the bay window

Josh sighs but sits anyway. “Besides even if i do like her aren’t I just hurting Maya?” he asks his niece as she sits beside him.

“Let me stop you right there Matthews. I am so over you.” Maya says opening the window. “Oh��� But the age difference. I’m college, she’s high school-“ Josh starts but is cut off by Maya “and she’s too young yada yada-“ Riley cuts her off  and says “Yeah but we both know she’s special”

Josh thinks about it and walks out.

“Think we changed something?” Riley asks her favorite blonde haired friend. “we’ll see Riles….. We’ll see” she replies as they both walk back to the living room.

“We’re back. Are you ready to play?” Topanga asks walking in. “Yeah” Josh says grabbing your hand. You blush and look at him, wondering why he’s holding your hand. “BROTHA, long game or short game? Which path is it?” Corey asks giving Josh cards. “Short game…. She’s a keeper” he says winking at you

“Hey Y/N. For you.” Bucky sets a coffee cup in front of you, you eye it for a moment. Peter watches you, Steve looks like he’s swallowing hard. You pick the cup up and sip from the plastic cap, with a small opening. Oh, my favorite. You sigh, taking another drink.

“What do you want?” You look at them, setting the cup down.

“So Bucky and Nat got some news.” Peter clears his throat.

“Two makes three.” Buck nods, lips pressed together suppressing the grin on his mouth.

“She’s pregnant. Congrats. What do you want to borrow Ade for practice?” You snort.

“Not exactly.” Steve sighs. “Down side to Nat being pregnant, she can’t handle certain smells.” He nods.

“Like sterile solution.” Peter smirks at you.

“If you want something, spit it out before I take my coffee and go back to Peter’s bed and enjoy my day off there.” You fold your arms over your chest. Peter grins at you, Steve chuckles softly, nudging Buck.

“We need someone to cover the counter, the front of the shop at St. Skin. We were,” Steve and Peter clear their throats looking at him. “I was, I was hoping you would work for Nat. The pays good, and you know this way Peter can stare at your ass when he’s not busy.” Bucky chuckles. You roll your eyes, Steve shakes his head, Peter shrugs as if Bucky wasn’t wrong.

“Fine, but” you hold up a finger at him “you are dropping Ade and Sarah off to Carrie before tonight’s little fight night thingy.” You hold up your second finger. “And I want coffee again later.” You smile at him.

“Is she always so demanding?” Buck looks over at Peter, who presses his lips together not saying anything. You both know if anyone was dominating and had demand in them, it was Peter. You sip your coffee smirking. “Deal.” He nods. “But I’ll have to take one of your trucks with the seats.” He looks from Peter to Steve.

“You’re going to have to get a grown up car now Bucky.” You smile.

“I have a grown up vehicle.” He grins.

“You’re gross.” You squint at him, you shake your head, turning you head for the stairs.

“Oh it’s okay when Parker does it, but not when I do?” He calls after you.

“It’s hot when he does it.” You blow them a kiss heading up the stairs as they shake their heads.

“Are those tattoos?” A woman asks looking at your thigh. Your cut off shorts left the sharpie tattoo of a half naked mermaid Peter had drawn on your thigh last night. On your other was an image of Red Riding Hood with the side of her face ripped apart, her red hood pulled up.

“No, my boyfriend drew them with sharpies.” You laugh.

“Holy fuck those are awesome. I want this.” She points to your thigh with Red on it. “Who’s your boyfriend?” She grins at you.

“Peter.” You laugh. “Come with me.” You wave her after you. You pull back Peter’s curtain, he’s sitting at the desk sketching. "Got some free time good lookin’?” You nod towards the girl.

“Hello Darlin’, what can I do for you?” He grins at you.

“She wants Red.” You smirk, showing him your thigh.

“Really?” He chuckles.

“That’s sharpie? I can’t imagine what you can do with a gun.” She grins.

“You can show her.” He nods at you, you turn lifting the back of your T-shirt. The anchor and flowers visible to her.

“Is this connected? Or more sharpie?” She laughs.

“Sharpie. It’s Rapunzel.” You laugh, lifting your shirt higher, exposing your side, her long hair wrapped around your anchor.

“Sign me up. I want Red.” She turns grinning at Peter.

“Sounds good.” He chuckles, turning to his desk.

“I’m out front.” You wave leaving the room. You walk back towards the front desk, a few guys sit waiting in chairs, one of them whispers something, making the others make a sound of ‘mmm’ together. Your head snaps around looking at them, they smile and nod at you. Wasn’t anything worse you hadn’t dealt with before, drunks at the diner and growing up around a MC Gang, you’d basically heard it all.

“Drink?” Peter’s lips brush your ear.

“Tequila.” You grin at him, he turns to Frank holding up two fingers at him. Frank laughs, pouring two shot glasses, you turn picking up both, you quickly throwback both. “Are you drinking tonight?” You give Peter a cocky grin.

“Is this what you get like without short stack?” He chuckles, Frank slides two more shots towards the two of you. You pick up one smirking at Peter before putting the glass to your lips and swallowing.

“Well when my boyfriend doesn’t want to draw on me in his bed.” You set the glass down on the bar. “Now if you’ll excuse me I have a four year old who likes a good night call.” You pull your phone out, heading off to find a quieter room.

“Drawing on her?” Frank chuckles.

“She was reading.” Peter grins, taking the shot. “But that was just the start of it.” He chuckles. Frank nods, proud as he pours another shot.

“You better keep up with that girl.” Frank laughs.

“Can I use your phone?” You hold your phone out to Peter.

“Yours dead?” He chuckles.

“Yes.” You shrug. Frank takes your phone, plugging it in behind the bar. “You’re the sweetest for looking like a smile would crack your face.” You giggle.

“Here.” Peter puts his phone in your hand, kissing your lips quickly. You turn on your toes grinning heading away, you walk past a couple of guys their eyes traveling over you slowly.

“That ass of hers. Fuck me, please.” A guy with jet black hair grins, patting his friend, the three of them grinning and nodding along, each watching you greedily. You turn looking back, your eyes slip over to Peter who is glaring, Frank looking the same from behind the bar.

“The fuck did you just say?” Peter calls out, people around the room stopping to look.

“What?” The guy who made the comment looks at Peter, he’s still laughing. You chew your bottom lip, holding Peter’s phone tightly in your hand. You knew Peter was protective, but this was a new side of him you hadn’t seen yet.

“Tell me what you said?” Peter pushes off the bar taking a few steps towards the three men.

“Just said, that ass of hers.” He shrugs, laughing like it wasn’t a big deal. Peter’s eyes slip to you, you stare at him, swallowing quickly. “I saw her in St. Skin earlier, talk about a MILF.” He and his buddies laugh. The person who spoke up surprised you, but Peter didn’t even blink.

“That’s his girl. That the mother of his daughter.” Clint sets his beer down on the table he’d been playing poker at before this happened, he stands up walking over. “You think it’s acceptable to talk about another man’s woman like that?” Clint folds his arms over his chest waiting for a response.

“I had no idea. I didn’t know.” The guy looks fucking nervous.

“He made some comment about me in the shop as well.” You speak up, Peter tips his head clearly, he’s surprised you hadn’t told him before. “After I left the girl who wanted Red.” You slip your hands into the back pockets of your shorts.

“What’d you say?” Peter glares when he looks back at the three guys.

“That was hours ago, I don’t remember.” He babbles quickly.

“Something about my thighs.” You recall the only word you caught from their muttering. Peter closed the space between them, his fist snapped back slamming into the guys face hard.

“Alright. Free hit Parker. You know the rules.” Steve pulls him back.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” Peter straightens up. “I got a call to make before bed time.” He looks up at Steve who grins nodding. Peter starts for you, his arm slips over your shoulders, walking you towards the front door.
