Obsessive Collectors - London Record Fair, The Old Truman Brewery.

I went along to this collectors fair to see for myself being a lover of music, how records can be displayed. Firstly I recognised the sheer scale of the fair, rows of records, compact into an tight old brewery space which made the whole affair seem quite sectretive. I couldn't help but feel stressed by the amount of records in one place, and how many I could miss out on with mistake of the eye. However I felt at ease as everyone else seemed to be just as preoccupied by their surroundings. It then made me think, the reason I love vinyl's so much it the collective aspects, and to have, store and be my own.  I felt this coincided perfectly with the theory of my box, full of coffee sachets in rows..with organisation and something I can always expand on. So my next stage will be taking these ways of displaying and containing and applying them to my own collection.
