Rule One.
The feminine energy respects itself when it’s protected! Do not allow people into your spirit, your vortex, your world, your space, your heart, your life, your mind and lastly your body that disrespects, devalues and breaks the boundaries you set for yourself. Dismissal of such behaviour should be automatic!

So I'm sure there's different versions of this
But the one my cantor* told us when we were in Sunday School was this one:
Two rich men go to a cloth merchant's shop. This merchant is known for having beautiful silks, even though he has but a small humble store in the outskirts of town — so small that his infant son is sleeping on one of the chests!
These rich men want to buy these silks, so they demand to see them at once.
The merchant says, "I am sorry, they are not for sale today. Come back tomorrow and I would be happy to show them to you."
The rich men, knowing that this merchant is a Jew, think "ah-hah, he wants more money!" So they offer him a tremendous sum.
"I am sorry, they are not for sale today. Come back tomorrow, good sirs."
The rich men are puzzled, but they double their price. Quadruple it. Anything this merchant wants, they can give him.
"I am sorry, they are not for sale today. Come back tomorrow, if you please."
So, the rich men leave, annoyed, but they present themselves the very next day and sure enough, the merchant goes to a chest and pulls out the most beautiful silks that these rich men have ever seen. And when they offer to pay, he will only accept the price that he himself has deemed fair — many times less than even the first offer these rich men made.
"But why would you not give us these silks yesterday?" they ask, happy but baffled as they (or more probably their servants, but the cantor didn't get into that) pack up the silks to leave.
Just then, the merchant's wife comes in from the back, carrying their infant son. The merchant smiles and says, "Because my child was sleeping on that chest, and I did not wish to disturb his slumber. His peace is more precious to me than all the money you, good sirs, could ever provide."
#I am tagging this as#ted lasso#because I've been thinking about this parable in the context of Ted and Henry and Rebecca's offer#and I'll admit that this is an incredibly Watsonian interpretation of the text — treating Ted as a person rather than a character —#but I do think that it's relevant to how Ted thinks of Henry#as needing peace and rest and above all HIS FATHER#and how Ted coaching at Richmond would still be Ted very much absent from Henry's life#even if Henry and Michelle did move to London!#like yeah football coaches are usually dads and probably some of them are good dads!#but I don't think Ted thought he had it in him to do both#and I think the show REALLY fell down in not making that more clear#that he was choosing because there HAD TO BE a choice#I loved season 3 but I loved my interpretation of it — and the show did not do enough groundwork for pretty much anyone's interpretation#and that's a failure of the show's creators#(the people who claim that Flying dutchman was a rapist are a notable exception — in that case they are the ones at fault because WHAT THE#anyway#believe mothereffers#* to explain: my childhood temple was very#very#VERY poor#and could not afford a rabbi#and in the end we couldn't even afford a cantor#but man those songs were great

An Eddie Headcanon
Despite being friends with Buster Moon for a long time, he only got in trouble with the law one time.
I’m not kidding! ONE… TIME!
So he and Buster were trying on outfits at Rue 21 at the mall just for funzies when our favorite koala spotted someone carrying a huge poster for War Of Attrition. Without even thinking about what he was wearing, which was unpaid merchandise, of course, he runs out of the store and toward the orangutan.
Eddie: BUSTER, NO! THAT’S STEALING!
Eddie was able to take the clothes off of his theater lovesick buddy, but at the cost of being caught by the store manager and the mall guard and he was prosecuted for shoplifting on the spot. Nobody believed the truth. Not the prosecutors, not the police, and especially not his parents.
Mrs. Noodleman: [in tears] We thought we raised you better than that!
Mr. Noodleman: No more TV, Edward! It’s clearly taught you how to steal!
Eddie: Aw, guys, you know how Buster is!
((..))
And to this day, Buster still has that very poster in his office. Eddie cringes every time he has to look at it.

I feel reasonably certain you're the one to ask, but if not, i hope you can point me in the right direction.
A while back, you put up a quote from someone about realising their queer identity being akin to wanting to quietly change train carriages. That particular idea has stuck with me, and I wanted to find the exact quote so I could remember it properly. Do you know who it was that said it, and in what context?
I know exactly what you are talking about! The quote you're thinking of is:
"I confess that I am one of those passengers that Fate put in the wrong train. Should I have caused an alarm? I chose the second, quieter way: I applied for a rewrite of the ticket.”
Which was said by Zdeněk Koubek, who was an olympic athlete!
Here is a snippet from our article about him:
"Koubek was born December 8, 1913, in Paskov, Czechia (Now the Czech Republic). Growing up with eight siblings in a poor Catholic household, he was an active child and very fond of athletics. His family moved to Brno while Koubek was still a child, and there he became interested in track and field. With very little formal training, he managed to reach peak performance. He had a decent education and considered becoming a clerk, but chose to dedicate himself to sports. Due to his outstanding performance at 17, he moved to Prague and joined the Prague University team, also working part-time as an instructor and coach. In 1932, at the age of 19, he broke his first national record and shortly after set five more. He won two medals in the Women’s World Games in London in 1934 and set two world records. It was at this point, due to his excellent performance and his gender-non-conforming nature, that rumours started circulating. Newspapers pointed out his “masculine” behaviours. Following this, there was an anonymous request for Koubek to be examined by Olympic-sanctioned doctors to ensure he was not lying about his gender. As this happened, Koubek left competitive sports entirely. Around the same time, writer Lída Merlínová wrote a biography about Zdeněk Koubek titled Zdenin světový rekord // Zdena’s world record. Merlínová was known for her writing on queer people, publishing the first Czech book about lesbians. In Zdenin světový rekord, Koubek is written as various degrees of gender non-conforming, androgynous, and masculine, and this book also added to the controversy of Zdenek’s sportsmanship. After disappearing from sports for some time, Koubek resurfaced with The World Record Woman. Published in Prague Illustrated Newsletter, Koubek himself wrote the 20-part biographical series. In it, he spoke of how doctors had mistakenly assigned him female at birth and how this had affected his life for over two decades. He once again disappeared, this time journeying to the United States of America for six months. He held lectures and told his life story. Upon his return to Prague in 1936, he underwent gender affirmation surgery and changed his legal name. He lived the rest of his life in Prague with his wife, later joined his brother’s rugby team, and never returned to the world of competitive sports. He passed away at the age of 73."
