do you have any fav haikyuu characters??

i gasped so hard bc this is the first time someone asked abt haikyuu here 😳 i have so many favorite haikyuu characters, i can't help it :< i think i can list five of them (not in a particular order tho)!

kenma — he is my current comfort character. i know people will criticize me bc kenma is one of the feral characters in hq but that's why i absolutely love him. i relate to him in a way where even tho it's way out of my comfort zone, i still winged it and entered a completely new routine (cough softball club cough even tho it lasted for a month bc of my anemia). if ever season 5 releases, i'll be the happiest bc i get to see him on my screen again 🥺

oikawa — i relate to him the most, that's why. he is so well-written that sometimes i see myself in him? if that makes sense. i don't play volleyball but i work myself to the brink of exhaustion for perfection (now, i have an aching wrist bc of studying and drawing). bc i fully understood his character past the pretty boy looks he was known for, i find myself rooting for him instead of the japan team in the final chapter. he has a special place in my heart bc not only was he my first crush in hq, he also made me realize that people who don't have innate talent can still make it big in the near future.

noya — ah, the one i'm really in love with dniejdkd he was the only name i could blurt out when i was in high school to the point that people from my class associate me with the name nishinoya 😭 i love him so much bc despite his aptitude in volleyball, he's still so humble like omfg he could've been a pro player but he chose to travel the world. i want that for me too 🥺

hinata — the sun himself. i adore his character so much 🦋 when the ballboy arc came around, i legit cried bc he's so positive. if it were someone else, they would've given up but hinata chose to strive no matter how many times he was shot down. like oikawa, he proved that people who aren't born with talent can still stand in the stage of their dreams.

aran — the first time i saw him, i fell in love. i don't have a deeper reason for loving him but all i know is that whenever he scores a point or appears in an episode or manga panel, i get butterflies 🦋
