Quick Vegetable Lo Mein Delight This vibrant and flavorful lo mein dish comes together in just 15 minutes, making it perfect for a quick weeknight meal. Packed with fresh vegetables and a savory sauce, it's both satisfying and easy to prepare. Ingredients: - 8 oz dry egg noodles package or fresh - 2 carrots, sliced - 1/4 yellow onion, sliced - 3 cups cabbage, thinly sliced (1/4 large cabbage) - 3 garlic cloves, diced - 1 bunch green onion (green part only) - 2 tbsp dark soy sauce - 2 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp brown sugar or regular sugar - 1 tbsp water - 1 tsp sesame oil - 1 tbsp corn starch - 1/4 tsp white pepper - 1 tbsp oyster sauce Instructions: 1. Slice the onion, carrots, cabbage, garlic, and green onion, then set aside for later use. 2. In a bowl, combine dark soy sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, corn starch, water, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper, stirring until fully mixed. 3. Cook the 8 oz egg noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes. Once cooked, rinse with cold water to prevent further cooking. 4. In a hot pan or wok, cook garlic, carrots, and onion for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the noodles, sauce, and green onion, then cook for 1 more minute, stirring until noodles are fully coated with sauce. 5. Serve on a plate and enjoy.

There are lots of different colored vegetables and tasty sauce in this Vegan Lo Mein Meal Prep, which makes it a tasty and easy choice for lunch or dinner during the week.
Ingredients: 8 oz whole wheat or rice noodles. 2 tbsp sesame oil. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 cup snow peas. 2 carrots, julienned. 4 green onions, sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1-inch piece of ginger, minced. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tbsp hoisin sauce. 1 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar. 1 tsp sriracha sauce optional. 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water. Toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Following the directions on the package, cook the noodles, drain them, and set them aside. Put sesame oil in a large pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat. Carrots, green onions, ginger, garlic, and snow peas should all be added. To make the vegetables tender-crisp, stir-fry them for three to four minutes. Whisk the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup or agave nectar, and sriracha sauce together in a small bowl. Add the sauce to the vegetables and mix them together. Toss the cooked noodles with the sauce and vegetables in the pan after adding them. Add the cornstarch mixture and keep cooking for another two to three minutes, until the sauce gets thicker. Put the lo mein into containers for meal prep and top with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. Microwave until hot all the way through to reheat.

Today's dinner is stir fry. I haven't made it myself before but it's really good
#good talk#next time I might honestly just make it without the meat#the way my brother cooked meat HAS turned out to be part of why I didn't like meat in dishes with other stuff in it#but also I'm learning that I maybe just don't like it unless it's like The Point of the meal#and I want the point of stirfry or lomein to be the vegetables#food talk#I wanted to add a picture but if there's a way to make a single image smaller I do not know it

I sit here with Haru on my chest, listening to her breathe, and I am reminded of how happy I was to see the boys...each time. I still look at the photos of Keigo I have post birth.
I'm sorry Haru...that I wasn't there....Everyone is determined to make me a shit father...shit person.... I... I can't let them.... Thank you for reminding me why I started trying in the first place...to see why fathers may ask for forgiveness. Charlie said that everyday is an opportunity to do better than the last.

I'm having a bad day cus I slept all day and no one's on a schedule here so autistically speaking I'm fucked up

#I'm feeling a lot of sad feelings#I had a really good dream (I keep having this dream of a much more exciting life so they're good and bad dreams) -#- that I was ordering a really meaty chicken sandwich with gravy and now I've woken up to the fact I only have old Lomein to eat🫠#that's not my biggest problem regarding dreams but it's getting under my skin#now I'm hungry and it's too late for food#my sister keeps being like 'oh get a shower!!!' but she's made it fuckin impossible#she freaks out if the shower isn't pristine like nobody was ever in there#and with my chronic pain it's really really really hard to do all of her shitty lil extra rules#I wish I was dead honestly I'm so tired of this and I'm tired all the time#I need to take my pills but what's the point#nothing is ever gonna get better.....#for 24 years I've been sad all the time with no explanation#I wish I could kill myself now honestly why am I such a pussy#I'm so cooped up in this house too#my dad had a set schedule so I could look forward to getting out at least once a week#now I'm just rotting in the basement 24/7 cus my sleep is off and I never get to go anywhere fun#I hate my life so much :(#I don't see the point in staying alive but I'm so fucking scared of failing
