Winning was a culmination of a lot of things for this class, for me, for the individuals in this class. It means a lot and I can’t pack it into words. Nicole holy s(redacted) holy sh(redacted) you fu(redacted) killed it oh my fu(redacted) I’m so fu(redacted) happy for you you were fearless leading this group and all I can say is that you killed it and I’m excited for you and I’m happy and lolollolololol. If underclassmen are reading this, I’m sure you all know next year will be rough. But I hope you can take this high and run off it cause y’all are gonna need it. While y’all’s technical skills might not be where they should, the passion you all have is unmatched, and us (seniors) unfortunately can’t teach you to be passionate. i wasn’t like, completely driving at darkening specifically but I def agree-ish and def had it in mind kinda underlying the story...though i see it for aegnor (so far at least) more as a kind of despair/fatalism than like, bitterness or wishing the two peoples never met a la gwindor. idk this is super headcanony but i tend to sort of view aegnor as like, sort of the anti-elrond, aegnor reacting to the prospect of loving mortal ppl with...‘lol fuck living this is bullshit i’m going to stay dead until the end of the world and try to clumsily approximate human death’ sort of thing........like aegnor being more positioned at, idk, at right-angles to finrod-post-prophecy rather than a direct contrast to finrod? idk

   Bc like, it’s a deliberate headcanon, ofc, but I feel like the children of Finarfin have more internal debates regarding Death than the other ones in the sense that part of their family was killed at Alqualonde after all and it was enough to drive Daddy n Mommy away, so I really like… Andreth… the Edain… catalyzing this internal debate…  and ofc Andreth by her own nature can’t just leave it alone so ofc her idea of foreplay involves discussing collective memory and death… my god I love her
