Note
i enjoy things in life but i don't buy childlike dresses worth shit ton of money for wearing them once a month, soft coquette over lolita any day!!!!
LMAO that last part sent me. Thanks for giving me a good laugh first thing in the morning :]
I get the impression you may be very young. Lots of things in life will not make sense to the outside perspective that doesn't enjoy it. Cosplay could be seen the same way. It's about the feeling and enjoyment you get from it. Some people will throw away hundreds of dollars to go somewhere like Disneyland for a day and not get the same enjoyment as they might get from partaking in their favorite hobby like EGL. A lot of hobbies cost a similar amount of money if not more and you will realize that with time. It's all subjective to each person whether it's worth it or not to them.
Also when did it become some kind of showdown where you have to choose one over the other? (nevermind that you compared a vague pinterest/tumblr aesthetic with an established fashion genre)

May 16, 2023
Hi everyone! This is a haul of what I got 2 weeks ago, I wasn’t able to post on the day I took the pictures, due to having a busy week, but now I’m able to post it, so let’s get started!
Tumblr media
1. Tokyo Disneyland parasol
I wanted to find a parasol to match my handmade lolita dress, but I couldn’t find any parasols on Lacemarket, so I decided to go on Mercari Jp to find a parasol, and that when I came across this parasol from TDL, it matched my dress, and it looks similar to the parasols that Angelic Pretty and Baby, The Stars Shine Bright sold.

2. American Ballet Theatre Spotlights Collection Bag
I remember when I was looking at on of my favorite artist’s books, I saw this bag in one of their photos, I realized that this bag was from American Ballet Theatre’s line with Payless that sold dance shoes and bags. I really like the simplicity of the of bag and that it shows their logo and it doesn’t have any other decals like the other bags they have in their line. Plus I like that the logo is stitched on!
Tumblr media
3. Sanrio custom name badge
When I saw that Sanrio has custom name tags, I was freaking out because if you’re like me and have a unique name, you know that it’s hard to find your name in those souvenir shops ╥﹏╥ , but you can write any word you want on the tag! The name tag is made of plastic and on the back ( not shown in the pictures) there is a clip and safety pin so you can put it on your clothes or bag. It comes with letter stickers so you can write your name!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Rhinestone heart necklace
I found this heart necklace at my local beauty supply store and soon after getting the necklace, I realized that it has similar vibes to necklaces that MA*RS and a few other gyaru brands sold a while back. It has a gold chain with a pink heart, and it has a pink hear with lots of rhinestones on it!
Tumblr media
Well, I hope you enjoyed my haul of stuff I recently bought, thank you for viewing!
