went to the fancy dress section of a store today, saw the price tags being around $200-300, and unironically thought "oh thats not too bad". luckily i have basic material and construction examination skills and came to the conclusion that the garments are quite mid and not completely worth the price. but the lack of reaction to such a price might be something i should think about
