Was messing around with what I'd want from a Shyvana VGU a while ago because I LOVE her. The art is kinda messy, oldish and I'd probably change her look a lot if I drew her again but I thought i'd post this anyway before anything is properly revealed. Nothing too groundbreaking here but my notes are under the cut so it's easier to read (I thought her name was spelled with two n's oops):

Note for her hair: -An attempt to groom, some struggle implied.

Note for her body: -Diagonal scars to represent that she is in between worlds

Note for her horns: -Files her horns (to appear more human specifically)

Extra Notes:

-Shyvana tries to look more fem/human than she is. It pains her, but the community/acceptence makes her happy.

-Armour colour palette purposefully conflicts with her organic colours.

Extra notes not feature in image:

-I wanted to really focus on the dichotomy between the two sides of her and the idea that as much as she may try, she is always apart of both worlds.

-I reference her old design a lot her mainly because I actually really like it despite it's many flaws and just tried to make her more refined to fit in with modern league.

-I really want to design her Demacian armour at some point because that will really help to sell the whole idea, I think.

-I specifically made her very monsterous but not to the point where she'd be too inhuman. Snaggled tooth, ridged ears, large horns and her deep purple skintone (you can't see in the image but she has partially clawed feet, as well).

-Even though it's not a choice I'd usually make I think the eye colours I picked feel very league-y even if it's not entirely appealing to me and I'm pretty happy about that.

-I'm honestly really unsatisfied with her face, it really doesn't feel right. Maybe it's too smooth or something but I'd probably completely change it in the future.

Lightcannon Week: Day Two ~ MURDER! ~ Detective Jinx in: the Case of the Royal Headache

...I'm SLIGHTLY late, but here we are!

“Murder!”

The vivid pink eye of Jinx, the Loose Cannon, the most dreaded criminal in Piltover and Zaun, flicked hither and thither, reflected to gigantic size through the lens of the magnifying glass.

“Murder,” she declared, “Moist fowl!”

Thunder crackled outside, as if to punctuate her words.

Caitlyn Kiramman pinched the bridge of her nose between her fingertips.

“…most foul,” she muttered, “It’s most foul…”

“…dunno,” Jinx stage-whispered behind her hand, leaning in to Caitlyn's left, “His face does kinda look like wet chicken to me…”

Jarvan the Fourth, recently crowned King of Demacia, lay dead on the parlour floor, a fire poker pushed inconveniently through his brain.

Huddled around the body, eyes filled with trepidation, horror, grief, or morbid curiosity, eight figures held their fitful silence.

Eight luminaries of the nations of Runeterra, invited to Ferros Manor on the outskirts of Piltover for a secretive political summit; Jarvan the fourth, his bodyguard Shyvana, the ostensible host, Camille Ferros, Grand General Jericho Swain, his bodyguard Katarina DuCouteau, Luxanna Crownguard, Cecil B. Heimerdinger, and Caitlyn Kiramman herself.

One remote, stormed-in mansion; one cut-off road. Now seven trapped luminaries…

…one infamous criminal, caught red-handed trying to make off with the Ferros jewels…

And one dead King whose cooling royal blood was making a real mess of a fine Shuriman rug.

Caitlyn released her held breath as quietly as she could.

It was going to be a long, long night.

10/10 dev update, especially with the new champs and Arcane teasers

Can't wait for Skarner to finally finish up, Smolder definately looks better in game but I still wish his face and proportions were a bit different, but the look at Shyvana has me hyped thru the roof, excited for the new vastaya, I'm willing to bet so much money that the Arcane VGU will be for Viktor, my boy needs on so badly, FUCK YES AMBESSA, love more representation for buff, older, and black women and to learn more about her backstory and role in Noxus, we got a sneak peak at definately-not-Warwick, no sir, no clue what Singed could be up to, not too surprised at the prestige list but nice to see Kindred on there, sad to hear Teemo get delayed but hopefully he still comes out this year, and lastly, that first Heaven Scale could be Lee Sin due the blindfold but that be weird to give him a new skin before his ASU, but we also know Ezreal is getting a skin soon so maybe that's Kayn, if so FUCK YES I was just thinking about a dragon Rhaast not long ago so I bet he'll look fantastic if that really is Kayn
