Pt 2 Liam Dream

Here's what I got...

We um, we were in our dream settings as usual. Fancy cruise dinner but not necessarily on a cruise, state college, huge manison, is it christmas? and most importantly.

The biggest up and comer. That park/camping/venue/camp that sometimes day is performing at outdoor festival style or there is a very cheap and country carnival. Looong "road"or driveway going to the park.

Theres also the dream town? And we were at one of those restaurants in one of those plazas if that makes sense.

And we were talking about various things while getting ready to go somewhere together.

There were other relevant guys what we knew or who were interested in me in the dream?? And I started talking about them casually not in a way where im praising them or calling them attractive. But in my head i felt myself talking too much. Like i had a feeling bringing them up would make Liam upset, but it was like I couldnt stop myself or like word vomit.

So then he tensed up or whatever and asked "who's more attrative "insert guy we know" or a famous basketball player" "Compare him to a famous basketball player you think is hot"

and as he was going i was like "no no no, im not doing that" and he was like "cmon, just do it" as if it was all good fun and not something he was upset about. I was like Liam no, im not gonna talk to you about guys and tell you whos hotter thats crazy, why would i do that." And something along the lines of....i love YOU and thats all that matters. But also not that bc i couldnt define our relationship exactly

He kept pushing, and i said i dont even know any basketball players by name except the famous ones. I only know the people my dad talks about anyway. And because he wouldnt let go, i even tried to name ACTIVE basketball players at the top of my head and i was struggling just to prove it to him, but i was hoping he believed me.

We then started talking about going to events, and like upscale things, not the grammys or something so big but potentially an award show. And he made a comment along the lines of "you get a girl who lives/works in new york and she'll start talking about stuff like this" Like oh so fancy, uhuh this checks out since you work at a fancy job in the city now and you do fancy things.

Lmaooo. I was just like what?? But we moved past it.

This comes off like he was being an insecure dick. But he wasnt.... lol. Insecure? okay yea probably but he wasnt being a dick it was very playful vibes but only significant cause i could see through it and tell this things were bothering him a little.

But it never felt like at my expense. He was always just trying to measure himself to feel good enough for what i was experiencing and who i was around.

Then.... time goes on. Its just us we're talking the same. And I tell a story about how one time i didnt pay a parking meter? And didnt get a ticket but i parked illegally. Idk a super harmless RANDOM story.

And after I told it he got quiet. And weird. Emphasis though on not mean. He was sweet and gentle the whole time. But his deameanor changed. And i tried to keep talking but now he was SO down. So I was wondering if I should bring it up, should I wait till we leave and say something in the car....

But i just said "im sorry, is it something I said? What's wrong"

And he looked up from tying his shoes and was like....."uh its just that (lets say "not paying the parking meter?") is really dangerous and I wouldnt want anything to happen to you. One time something happened with me and my dad and it was really bad"

And i felt horrible I was like "oh im so sorry Liam, I would have never brought it up, if I knew you had trauma attached to it" and he quietly was just like "its okay" And i was about to go over to him and hug him or rub his back but I asked "do you wanna talk about it"

And he just shook his head. So i was like...okay, he wasnt mad at me. He was just in a bad mood becaus of whatever bad memory.

But i....to fill the silence i guess kept saying sorry. Even though i didnt need to apologize anymore lol, I didnt know it would trigger him. And i asked him if he wanted to talk about, AND i said i wouldnt park illegally again. (Even though whatever my random story was about wasnt that bad)

My point was i did everything i could so i need to learn not to put it on myself to make him feel better. He's allowed to be sad. People can be in bad moods. Its not my fault!!

Which maybe explains why, then i said "Im sorry if now im talking too much, or saying the wrong thing i-, just sometimes don't know when to stop or if im doing to much"

And he said something in a cheeky way like "yea....you coulda stopped already. You don't have to keep talking"

And in the dream i took offense to that (silently). And got insecure about yapping too much.

But thinking it through now I think he was just saying "its okay you don't have to overcorrect or fix something that you didnt do" (or even that you did). You apologized. And he wasnt upset cause i told a random story about a parking meter. He was upset becuase he was reliving whatever trauma with his dad.

when liv and jordan suggested going up to spencer’s dad’s cabin for part of the weekend you only jumped at the chance to help a friend in need

and not because of the whole cabin experience!!

you hated the outdoors meanwhile your parents loved it

your father often went on hikes with his friends causing your anxiety to act up whenever you would hear stories of injuries or read about disappearances in the woods

Blair witch ain’t no friend of yours

only you would find yourself reading things like that

and your mom was active in running, walking, and biking marathons

you on the other hand liked being where it was safe and no accidents can occur and to you that happened to be in your room 

so basically your own personal bubble 

however you were great on the swim team until you just up and decided it was no longer for you

you dropped a lot of things once you got tired of them, which your parents couldnt be too upset with you since you were open to trying new things...they just never lasted long

so you started to like low-key hobbies instead

it was all going so well with your friends

you all took the time to give spencer the comfort he needed, following his lead when it came to cleaning the cabin

and also knew when to apply breaks when it got too heavy

Such as: walking around “embracing nature” layla coached; with all grins

until the sun was making you break out in hives and you had a worm fall out from one of trees onto your shoulder!!! So by then you called it quits much to olivia and layla’s bemusement

“it wasn’t that bad.” olivia said as they caught up to you

Dinner came around which was actually nice to have with all of your friends around, you opted that you all do that more often with everyone agreeing

It felt good to actually spend time with your friends especially when things were constantly changing throughout the group

You even gave new girl Vanessa a chance! Although there was some tension there, you still tried to make her feel welcome despite the new found info you found out on your joyous hike!

then she had the idea to play “never have I ever” by the bonfire

you were always down for some games, you were a bit of nerd when it came to any form of games especially: video games, board games, and card games—you even loved chess...s/o to your gramps

Out of respect for Olivia’s sobriety, JJ decided that everyone would drink some form of spicy pickle juice that he probably bought from Amazon or some shit but hey! You were always down for new things to a extent...

“So you’ll drink this but not eat my famous pasta? I see how it is, y/n.”

First the game started off entertaining until...it all went left

“No, you were selfish putting your health at risk just so you can play some stupid game!”

“Stupid?” Jordan frowned, “you think what I love to do is stupid? You know how important playing ball is to me.”

“Yes! And you prioritize that over your well-being and that’s not okay to me. And the fact that you thought lying to my face day after day would make it okay?”

“I’m sorry I lied.”

“Are you?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I mean it was so easy for you say and do whatever you needed to do just to get back on the field, what else have you been lying to me about?”

“Oh don’t make this out to be more than it is! I just need you to support me, is that too much to do?”

You went silent thinking that over as you said your next words, “maybe it is. I can’t be your yes person all the damn time j, when you’re in the wrong here! I’ve been nothing but supportive in this relationship and the minute I say I’m not okay with not only you lying but risking your health at that, just for a game you want to question everything I put into this relationship? Really?!”

“That’s not—that’s not what I mean. I love everything you do for me, and how you make me feel. you know that, I’ve told you that. And I don’t want this to feel like a competition about who does more for the other because that’s not love and sounds really exhausting. I don’t ever want to grow tired of you. “Perfecting your craft doesn’t mean working yourself until your nothing but dust, Jordan. I would be devastated if i lost you and if we make it which we’re destined to and you go pro, I’m always going to worry about you. I mean look at me now always in the stands watching through my fingers half of the game.”

Jordan breathed out a laugh nodding his head that this was in fact true, “I...I get that. Really I do...I’m so sorry I didn’t take you or any one else’s feelings into consideration.”

“Good, and I understand why you did it but you should have talked to me about that dumb idea of yours.”

“Would you have agreed, doc?”

“I can’t control you...you would have done it anyway, knowing your stubborn ass.”

Jordan tilted his head at that knowing that was probably true and slowly reached out to lace your fingers together, “are we okay?”

“As long as you get rid of those pills.” You squeezed his hand against yours.

“Deal. They’re actually in the car.” He placed a kiss on your forehead trying to ease the tension with the incredulous look you shot him, “you never said you forgive me, tho.” He informed with a sheepish smile

Shrugging you said, “Oh I’m still mad as hell, this fire has been dimmed but it’s still there, baby.”

Jordan groaned reaching up to grip the sides of your neck to pull your face up to his, “I love you, I care for you, I’m sorry for being a dumb ass and I’ll prove to you how sorry I am.”

“Just don’t lie to me ever again or I’m gonna kick your tall ass.” You pointed at Jordan who laughed, swearing against his chest and opted that he would do just that

“Can i get a kiss?” He raised his brows, hopeful

Shaking your head you stepped back from him, watching him pout, “that’s your consequence from me to you.”

“Seriously?! Y/n? You know how much I love kissing, that’s just evil.” Jordan yelled watching you walk off with a smirk on your lips

Michael opened his eyes.

He was lying on the grass with his head in Bonnie’s lap. Bonnie leaned against a willow trunk, his hands twisting through michael’s hair.

This had become their spot. This particular tree had be mangled as a sapling, probably by a farmer who then changed his mind about removing it. Now, at nearly a century old, it grew at an odd angle, which led its leaves to touch all the way to the ground. It was here, beneath the leaves of the weeping willow which curtained them from the outside world, that they fell in love.

3 months earlier

Michael had been assigned to welcome duty. Typical.

A new ally was moving down to birmingham, what michael had been told was it was a skilled marksman and his boxer son. Michael and the son were roughly the saem age, and therefore michael was stuck with the task of showing him around the city.

Michael led him to the northern outskirts of the city. He explained that when he moved here he had also longed for the nature he was accustomed to. It was a little ways off, but still on the northern hills surrounding the city there were farms and fields and forests. They walked for a while, meandering through the grass. They talked, oddly enough. Something between them allowed this simple communication. 

After a bit, bonnie looked off into the corner of the field they were in. A large weeping willow crowned the corner of the field. Michael wondered how he had never noticed such a magnificent tree before.

“Lets go see it.” Bonnie grinned. 

Then, as if once more boys, they raced to the tree with the giddiness of someone who finally found a treasure. It seemed that with that short sprint, they were now the closest of friends.

Bonnie climbed up a branch at once. As if he had done so with this tree many a time. Michael, ever afraid of heights, watched him from the ground. 

“What d’you say michael?” Bonnie asked as he once more stood on the ground.  “Let’s carve our initials into the tree.” 

Michael tilted his head, inviting an explanation.

“Well, seeing as we are the only people around here who value the outdoors, i say we mark the tree as ours.”

Michael smiled, “I do believe you are right.”

Bonnie took out a pocketknife, unhinging the blade and approaching the tree. Before long, a ‘B.G’ was carved in surprisingly nice fashion into the grey bark. He handed the knife to Michael, resulting in an ‘M.G’.

They stepped back to observe their handywork.

Of course Michael had heard it, the mutterings followed by harsh spits at the ground. The bodies so badly mutilated they were no longer recognizable. But everyone always knew who they were– that is to say, why they were in such a state. 

Michael heard it used as insults to other men, he heard it yelled from fathers to sons in furious disappointment. 

Michael heard it from him, and as a permanent tormenter Hughes’ voice echoed in his mind. He felt sick.

They all heard it, everyone did. but most could walk by without notice.

Michael tried.

And then Bonnie came, and the fear took a deeper,  tighter hold.

Bonnie already knew who he was. He got away as a ‘rumored homosexual’, living in relative safety knowing that anyone who tried anything would get their skull blown off by his father. he knew he was lucky.

Michael denied it all, then all of a sudden he was tasked with showing him around and he fell hard

As the weeks past, they talked, shared their pasts –to an extent– with each other. Normally michael wouldnt do this but there seemed to be a connection that made communicating easy, made it seem ok.

And michael was consumed. It was everything, his dark curly hair, his manor, the way his cheekbones caught the light, the intensity of his gaze. His heart beat red, but the fear and confusion he felt encased it.

He remembered what he had been taught, what was said, what he had been told by that evil man and the society around him.

And then he slowly he grew more silent, reserved. The friendship that sprung up so quickly seemed plugged, like a stream with dwindling water.

Such was the case today as he quietly followed bonnie to the willow.

As usual, Bonnie was in high spirits. He hoped his cheery attitude would raise michaels, he desperately wanted the old michael back.

“Race you!” He called, beginning to dash across the field. He thought perhaps a sudden spark of competition would snap him out of it.

But Michael kept his pace, waving his hand to suggest he would not be racing today. 

Bonnie sighed in defeat and allowed michael to catch up.

“Michael” He started as they pushed through the leafy curtain, “What’s the matter?”

Michael looked at bonnie as if surprised, 

“What? Nothing’s the matter.”

But this statement fell short as his eyes refused to look up from the shadowed ground. He felt the bubbling wave in his chest rumble. He refused to cry.

Bonnie sighed and crossed his arms, starting in a hushed tone

“Michael i know something has been wrong for a while now, please tell me.”

Perhaps it was the softness of his voice, or the light hand on his arm. But to michael keeping it in seemed no longer to be an option. 

He opened his mouth and found a large lump in his throat, he tried to swallow it but found his throat now dry as a bone.

A tremor stared throughout his body, and the tingly sensation of fear coated his skin. His lips quivered

‘bonnie–” he tried and had to clear his throat. his eyes still unblinkingly linked with the earth.

“i-” the tightness of his chest became unbearable. He couldnt breath, and his mind went elsewhere.

“I love you.” He whispered, the tears he promised to hold in fell freely from his eyes, traversing the faint sunspots on his cheeks. 

Bonnie watched as michael’s shaking form wept in silence. His own cheeks became wet. He crept his hands up to michael’s face and lifted his chin. He pressed his forehead against his and whispered against michael’s soft sad lips,

“I love you too.”

Michael looked up at the love of his life with bright watery eyes, translucent pearls continued to leak out and roll to the ground. He moved his chin just a fraction to connect his lips with bonnie’s. 

perhaps the willow knew, for the wind seemed to subside and pull the curtain of the leaves closed around them.

Now, reclining in the new warmth of spring, that day seemed so long ago. 

Michael once again looked up from his place in Bonnie’s lap, he reached up and caressed his cheek. Bonnie leaned into Michael’s touch.

“I love you so much bonnie.” Michael said, gazing in utter adoration at the face above him.

Bonnie shifted his body so he could lie down beside michael and kissed him.

As they lay intertwined, the warm aromatic breeze fluttered through the willow’s branches. A beam of sunlight entered as if through a door, and shone upon the bark of the tree. In the light were two names carved; now encompassed in a heart.

Omg um Hi? hahaha lololol this is so so awkward. but hey guys Tasha is back! *bunyi drumroll* I know that I’ve been quiet for so long and I’m truly sorry for making you guys wait for almost a year plus, or more kot? I’m truly, deeply sorry :(  okayla dulu i selalu questioned kenapa bloggers selalu tak consistent untuk keep their blogs updated. Now that I’ve become one of them baru i tahu yang it actually takes a lot to consistently write. All this while I’ve been busy with my studies and all, so yea I couldnt really spare my time to sit down and write. (okay dah ah i dah takda idea nak bagi alasan apa dah hahahaha)

okay let’s get started! so as you all know, I went to Italy with my family for a month, last year, in 2019. “fuyo sebulan loaded teroks” kata siti rogayah (bukan nama sebenar) kepada thenah (sebut senah je spelling je acah matsalleh sikit). first and foremost, assalamualaikum I just want to make it clear yang i tak loaded pun haha. we went there pun ikut my dad punya business trip je maka nya rakan rakan sekalian, most of our expenses there were covered by the company, kalau tak memang i kena jadi petani sambilan lerr tanam taugeh tepi Pisa tower untuk sara diri i kat italy. so if haritu i cerita pasal france, seperti yang dijanjikan, this time I akan cerita pasal places that i visited in Italy, including some parts of Swiss. tapi not all la i akan cerita interesting places je kiyoh kiyoh (dekat tumblr je boleh gelak cemni kalau gelak kiyoh kiyoh in real life nanti mesti ternganga makcik yang duduk sebelah rumah i tu). jadi mari kita kita explore 6 places to visit in Italy bersama Tasha The Explorer yeaayyy (macam biasa, ni dora version takda monyet)

#1 Verona

I personally love Verona walaupun masa kitorang pergi tu panas gila ibarat tersadai di padang pasir yang kering kontang ye anak anak (ni kalau cikgu BM i baca peribahasa yang i baru reka 2 saat yang lepas ni mesti dia suruh i jalan itik keliling padang netball sambil baca kamus dewan edisi ke 4). tapi memang panas gila lah taktipu. tapi i still suka verona sebab dia macam bila you sampai tu you’ll be like “Ouh now this is italy” because you can somehow feel the italy vibes there. In verona you’ll get to see plenty of cosy cafes with outdoor seating as well as souv shops. Colosseum pun ada but a small one lah i tak pergi rome tsk tsk (ini bunyi nangis ye for those yang taktahu) so i masuk colosseum kat sini je. if you happen to come here later, my advice would be, hm takyah masuk la haha sebab takda apa pun bazir duit je baik tengok kat google.com je.

anyway, those who are fans of romcom movies (macam i yeay)  tahu la kot kenapa verona ni jadi tourist spot. For all you know, Verona has become one of the most popular tourist spots in Italy since the release of Letters to Juliet, the famous american romantic comedy movie yang Amanda Seyfried berlakon tu. siapa tak tengok lagi please la go tengok cerita ni cute nak nangis okie dekat netflix pun ada. so basically in that movie like dorang tunjuk dekat Casa de Giuletta you boleh write your relationship problems and leave your letters there nanti Secretaries of Juliette akan reply kan. I taktahu if yall tahu or no but I’m telling anyway yang that place exists, the secretaries exist and if you tulis surat to them dorang akan reply! but i baca dekat this one blog dorang memang akan reply cumanya hahahaha hm jap gelak jap, cumanya it might take them days, months or even years lah to reply your letter. but better late than never kan gitchew. yela tourists from all over the world kot tulis kisah cinta frust menunggeng dorang dekat the secretaries ingat dorang Simsimi ke nak reply cepat cepat.

so if pergi verona, casa de Giueletta is a must visit place because obviously that’s the main attraction of the town. #2 Venice

Okay let me be frank, I am so sorry if this would disappoint many of you but Venice doesnt meet my expectations laa haha. I excited gila nak pergi venice masatu bcs I tengok dalam movie The Tourist macam lawa gilagila. but bila i sampai i macam NAANI? hahaha bcs biasa je la Venice ni, but this is my personal view la, mine might differ from yours. Maybe i cam biasa biasa je, maybe you suka kan. I dont know whether this is true or no but I heard that they dont have enough funding for the mantainance bcs yela costly.

but the only thing yang I suka in venice is the St. Mark’s square. dekat situ ada orchestra bands playing classic musics (my favourite!!)  dekat all these posh cafes and then you boleh la lari lari dekat the square kejar pigeons feeling feeling kat venice sikit haha. nanti the guys there akan offer untuk bagi you makanan burung so nanti the pigeons akan datang kat you pastu you boleh la amik gambar lawa lawa. but here’s the thing, some of them akan guna tactic cakap “don’t worry, it’s free” but honey let’s be real nothing is free in this world so eventually dia akan minta you bayar jugak so if you taknak bayar say no to them awal awal.

#3 Pisa

okay sekarunk (rempit sekali sekala) kita dah sampai tempat menara senget kegemaran semua orang hahaha. kelakar tau I tengok je semua orang try hard gila nak buat pose tolak bangunan tu, i macam hmm kalau buat peace je takleh ke? lols. okay so hm pisa ada apa eh? nothing much la except for the buildings and the histories behind them. but pisa is a greaaaat greaaaat place to shop!!!! dekat sini la tempat you nak beli all the souvenirs fridge magnet ke tshirt ke keychain ke and paling penting LEATHER STUFFS (real leathers) including handbags wallets etc etc at the best price. For the handbags, i suka la the designs here are pretty simple and elegant tak gaudy macam makcik makcik sangat hahaha takpa kan cakap katsini bukan ada makcik pun baca hahaha korang jangan bagi makcik jiran sebelah baca pulak mati i kena bash nanti. but yea, if pergi italy, girls, remember to save your money for an exclusive shopping sesh in Pisa. *wink wink

#4 Lauterbrunnen

“Eh tasha ni tak belajar geography ke zaman sekolah dulu Lauterbrunnen ni kan dekat swiss bukan italy”. ye sabar dulu thenah (masih senah yang sama) Lauterbrunnen ni memang la dekat swiss tapi swiss kan sempadan italy so the logic is that if you go to Italy, it would be a waste la if you tak include swiss in your itineraries sebab dekat je and you can easily go there by car hah gitu thenah nya.

When I first reached Lauterbrunnen, I felt as if I was in heaven. I swear *angkat tangan kanan* it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to so far. like cantik cantik cantik cantikkk gila!!! ha berapa kali cantik tu. Actually I dah pernah sampai Swiss in 2011 but masatu i pergi Lucerne je, tapi cantik jugak. I jenis yang into nature, and everyone knows that Swiss is all about nature. so I suka gila la Switzerland. Along the journey to swiss, you will be mesmerized by its charming view. If you’re lucky enough you akan nampak horses, and then all these picturesque villages and snow cape alps macam all those fairy tale kingdoms taktipu. It was soooo green macam dalam painting and sooo clean I rasa nak tidur atas rumput (ceh kemain berangan hingat ni cerita hindustan ke).

And Lauterbrunnen ni dekat je dengan Interlaken so pergi la jugak Interlaken and allow yourself to chill and take a stroll around the town. Jangan lupa singgah makan ice cream dekat this one halal cafe sambil jalan jalan tengok souvenirs hehe.

#5 Dolomite

Dolomite would be a perfect stop for those yang suka hiking. best la hiking kat situ rasa macam pengembaraan Hobbit lols. As it was summer during that time so macam ramai jugak la tourists from all over the world yang hiking masatu. I guess we took about one hour plus to reach the top and it was so worth it to eventually see the view from above. Mula mula tu macam pancit jugakla but then I nampak this one preggy lady hiking jugak and I was like wow okay jangan jadi perempuan lemah ahahah.

anyway dekat atas sana ada this one cafe that serves the best hot chocolate in the world! i takpernah rasa hot chocolate sedap macamtu so if you pergi sana dont forget to stop by the cafe (it’s the one yang dalam gambar kat atas ni) and enjoy a cup (or perhaps two) of hot choc okie!

#6 Milan

Milan, macam yang semua orang tahu, is the place where you could purchase all these stuffs from high-end brands be it Dior, Channel, Coach etc etc. but itu jela, tempat shopping, nothing else. mak mak suka la kot Milan but for me cam ala boring nya haha. but in Milan, kena be extra careful. if korang rasa cerita pick pocket i kat paris haritu dah cukup scary, cerita pick pocket kitorang dekat Milan kali ni is three times scarier I swear.

okay so cerita dia camni, we went to Milan by train dengan some of our dad’s friends sekali. so masatu baru nak masuk train, tapi macam a bit rushing because the train was about to leave already. parents i dengan their friends semua jalan kat depan, i dengan kakak i dekat belakang. so diorang masuk dulu the train. By the time i dengan nadia nak masuk it was so packed dekat door area so we couldnt masuk. so i dengan nadia masuk ikut the other pintu. so imagine eh dalam train tu our parents and the friends dekat the other side and kitorang dekat the other side. I dengan nadia masatu macam dah pelik la kenapa dekat area parents i macam packed gila with all these milano girls sedangkan banyak je space kat tempat lain.

pastu i nampak one of the girls like buat buat tanya pasal the route dekat my dad and his friends. masa my dad tengah jawab tu tetiba my dad’s friend nampak zip knapsack my dad dah terbukak tau. pastu tetibe je one of the girls shouted as if one of them was sexually harassed and then marah marah pastu they keluar from the train because masatu train tak gerak lagi. then my dad punya kawan punya wife checked her handbag and purse dia dah takda. pastu kitorang semua got off the train and my dad dengan kawan kawan dia semua pergi kejar la those ladies. okay ni sumpah macam movie taktipu i should hv recorded it tapi tulah things happened too fast.

my dad and his friends sempat kejar and tangkap the two ladies je because the rest dah went separate ways. masatu dorang dah masuk elevator tau but kitorang sempat tahan pintu tu. bila dah dapat tahan tu, they threw off the purse yang dorang amik (haa tahu takut ee tarik rambut kang jk). but dorang taknak bagi kitorang tengok what do they have inside their bags. Pastu my dad, shouted at her, “ I WANNA SEE YOUR BAG RIGHT NOW” i sumpah takpernah tengok my dad garang cemtu i taktahula masatu I amazed ke i takut hahaha. tapi guys perempuan ni gila sumpah. she was like “Okay you wanna see? alright” pastu dia angkat baju dia and showed everything. I mean literally everything. masatu like everyone yang ada dekat the train station was staring at us i taktahula perempuan ni gila ke gila tapi memang gila ah i rasa dia ter minum ketum kot instead of susu masa dia kecik.

pastu my dad and the guys insist jugak nak tengok her bag pastu ada this one italian lady datang and helped us. dia kata la yang she was also in the train at that time and she witnessed the moment the girls took our stuffs. pastu baru la the police came and all. sooo guysss Milan is definitely one of the pick pockets’ targeted spot yela because it’s Milan and semorang was expected to carry lots of cash there kan so pls pls be extra careful. if your friends or relatives ke nak datang Milan, pls remind them about this. 

Alright so tu jelah kot apa i nak cerita? haha. if yall are planning to go visit italy (or swiss), you might want to consider the places I’ve mentioned above. he was always a pretty good kid, staying out of serious trouble and keeping away from the wrong crowd, but he let himself slip when his new rich friends were like pressuring him into drinking a lot and doing recreational rich white people drugs like cocaine ygm? he started drinking to excess and staying out partying at all hours of the night, basically just stressing the fuck out of his uncle lmao!!

SO this led to him spending most of his time outdoors and kinda secluded despite his so called ‘ friends ’ who lived in edinburgh ( choke thanks! ). when he graduated high school, he wasn’t interested in college much tbh?? he was all set to take over his uncle’s business and its all he ever really wanted to do, but his uncle was like AHA thassa joke m8 and made it so he couldnt inherit it until he had a degree !! SO at first he was just going with the motions of college but its honestly .. such a good time and hes so glad he was forced to go lmao catch him happy to go to class like a lunatic

he’s a marketing major cos it’ll help him with the running of his uncle’s business ( which he plans to branch out to the rest of scotland and then maybe the us if he gets the opportunity ) and he highkey loves it? hes v much a people person like him being alone? unrealistic! he thrives in crowds and around other people so!

You awoke to an empty and cold bed, the same as you had fallen asleep in the previous night. Not much different from usual although you couldn’t blame your boyfriend, afterall he did go out most night protecting the city from harm. If it were any other day you would have shrugged it off and waited patiently for him to return later on. But today, today was Valentine’s day and although you didn’t mind much for the holiday you had hoped that maybe, just maybe you would get to spend they day with your beloved hero.

You rolled over onto your side, reaching for your phone on the bedside table. Lifting it up you waited for the screen to blink on. No new messages. Even so you decided to send your lover a text to celebrate the day, making sure to overload it with hearts, knowing he found it cringey (but secretly cute). You sighed, any thoughts of him remembering the date dampining your mood more.

9:00

About half an hour of moping in bed you finally got up. You took a long, hot shower, if you weren’t spending it with Jason you may as well still treat yourself to a relaxing one. Thanking the Gods that you didnt have work today you scrubbed away.

After you finished up and changed into some casual clothes you walked to the kitchen, eager to get some tea and something to eat. As you passed the island you noticed something strange, the dishes you left to dry over night had all been put away.

“He must have come home after all” you mutterd to yourself. While it was a pleasant surprise for him to help out with the little things, you do wish he had stayed long enough for you to at least see him.

An hour and a half of doing nothing, to say you were bored was an understatement. You had checked social media countless of times, thinking you could maybe hangout with your close friends instead to celebrate the day. Alas everyone was either romancing it up or busy working the day away. Your hopes of spending the day with your other loved ones being whisked away. The walls of your apartment were becoming unbareable and it was then that you decided maybe getting some fresh air would be a good thing. So you dragged yourself off the couch and to the door. You could tell be the sight outside it was a particularly cold day, even with the sun brightly shining. You pulled on your thick coat, making sure to put on your hat and scarf too (you did not want painfully frozen ears), and after grabbing your phone, earphones and keys you left the empty apartment. You sent Jason another message, notifying him of your whereabouts if he came home while you were out, noticing the message was unread. Maybe his phone died?

Great. It was if the whole world was out to remind you that you were alone today. Your music kept plaing love songs (that you’d usually enjoy but in the company of yourself the sappy lyrics were beginning to irk you). The whole park was filled with happy couples holding hands and smiling with glee. Sure it wasn’t their fault but it was still pissing you off. It was a battle to keep the scowl off your face and not look like a moody single. reaching a more secluded area you found a bench and too a seat, tired of walking. It was a quaint little area. Bushes surrounding a small pond, with a family of ducks amongst the greenery. Maybe you could bring Jason here, get away from all the chaos of life for a few moments. Although you’d have to come when it got warmer, the environment would be much more enjoyable when you could actually feel your limbs.

You pulled your icy phone out of your pocket. Still no reply. You unlocked his phone and clicked on his nickname, Jaybird, and for a moment your heart stopped.

Read 11:32, you gasped quietly. Read? You could understand him not seeing the message yet, he wasn’t on his phone nearly as much as yourself. But he had now read the message. Negative thoughts clouded your mind. Was he outright ignoring you. Knowing you shouldn’t over react and jump to conclusions you shook your head and rubbed away the potential tears. Maybe snuggle up and watch Romeo and Juliet while munching on sweets and chocolate, you knew he had a particular soft spot for Shakespeare. Now that would be an ideal Valentine’s day. A smile made its way onto your face at the thought, warming you from the inisde as you journeyed home through the streets of Gotham. A grin soon broke out on your cheeks as the music in your earphones dipped, signaling a new message. With the speed of the flash you whipped out your phone. If there was ever such a strong change in emotion it was now: your face fell drastically as you read the name on the screen, Tim.

Now it wasn’t that you disliked the younger boy, it was just that you were desperate to hear anything from Jason, even if it wasn’t in anyway romantic at all. You opened the message anyway, interested to see what he had to say.

“Hey (y/n)!” You heard Tim call from the lounge. You responded with a greeting, albiet not as enthusiastically. Once home ready you walked into the living room, chuckling at the sight of him lounging on the sofa, legs up with his phone and a mug of coffee in hand. Once you pushed his legs off and sat down on the sofa he locked his phone and smiled up at you.

“So what brings you here Timbo?” You spoke, looking at him in curiosity.

“What? Can’t I come visit dear brother’s girlfriend, who happens to be my dear friend?” He said, mock innocence coating his voice. You laughed slightly before continuing.

“I know you Tim, You wouldn’t have come in person if you really didn’t have to.” Feigning hurt for a moment he replied, “How could you? I would come to see you whenever and where ever.” You both paused, “Alright you got me, If Jason heard me speaking like that I’d be a deadman.” You both laughed for a moment before you decided to bring up said male.

“Speaking of, you haven’t heard from him have you? He hasn’t responded to my texts and I haven’t seen him all night”. Tim’s demanor shifted at your question and he responded much too quickly.

“No can’t say I have sorry.” You opened your mouth to question him further but he quickly shifted the subject. You talked with they lad for a good long while, catching up with him. It’d been a while since you’d actually seen him in erson and it was nice to actually get to seem him and talk face to face. After a few hours and multiple teas and coffees later Tim finally got to his original intention. He was here to ask if you wanted to come back to the manor and join the others for a casual Valentine’s get together. they were having at the house. You asked f Jason would be there and he awkwardly responded with an ‘I don’t really know’.You weren’t too keen but you agreed to come anyway, seeing as you would’ve ended up angry and depressed at the apartment alone. Might aswell enjoy the rest of the day with your favourite vigilanties.

You both got up ready to leave as you locked the apartment door and Tim spoke one more time.

“Oh yeah I got dropped off so you’re going to need to drive. meet you at your car!” With that he speed off leaving you to curse at the boy.

You pulled up the elaborate driveway of the manor. It was already dark and you were in awe at the manor being lit in the darkness. It was a beautiful place. You parked and both exited the car. Tim let the pair of you into the grand home. His awkward state was back as he shuffled ahead. Coughing to get your attention she spoke,”So, um, the others are waiting in the conservatory. I’m going to check on some, um umm, stuff in the kitchen.” and with that he was gone.

“Okay?”. You manouvered to the back of the manor, having been here enough times to know the basic layout. What you were met with was not what you were expecting.

The room was mostly dark, being lit purely by the stars, some candles on a layed table and some fairy lights weaved into the metal work of the consevatory. Your eyes travelled across the delicates lights eventually leading you to a warmly lit figure standing in the middle of the room. Broad shoulders covered with a jet black turtle neck, matching the gorgeous soft waves of hair upon his perfect face. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, exposing the heavenly forearms. In his hands, clutched rather tighlty, was a bouquet of your favourite flowers wrapped together in a perfect red bow. It was then that you realised that you had barely been breathing and you gasped, bring your hands to your mouth in shock. You looked him into his eyes, the perfect blues looking back with pure adoration and happiness.

“Happy Valentine’s day (y/n).” as he spoke you could feel your insides basically melt and you couldnt help yourself as you ran towards him and into his arms. He tensed in shock for a moment, dropping the flowers to catch you before laughing. You could feel the deep chuckles reverbing through his chest as you embraced him tightly. He placed you back on the ground and you stared up at him, the height difference returning to it’s usual (something you’d never change because damn that made you feel things), and you stared into his eyes with love, brushing away all of the day’s earlier doubts.

“I hate you so much” you said, smiling through it. He smiled in return, bright and happy.

“Yeah, I love you too.”

“I was beginning to think you’d gone missing, or beginning to get bored of me” You meant it as a joke even if the thoughts occured but he frowned slightly.

“Bored of you? (y/n) I could never get bored of you. I love you more than I can put into words.” You smiled even more than you were before with his words, making you feel warm and fuzzy inside. You pulled him down to your level, hands locked behind his head and shared the most passionate kiss of your life. His large hands gripped your hips, pulling you impossibly closer. The pair of you only parted at the intrusion of the voice of a much younger brother.

“Gross” came the voice of Damian Wayne. The two of you pulled apart, you blushing while Jason simply glared at the boy from over your shoulder. You could feel one of his hands leave you most likely flipping Damian off before returning to your body.

When you thought your embrassement was over you heard the hushed voices of the others.  

“Damian to get back, you’re blowing our cover!” Dick whisper shouted.

“Hey, ow, your stepping on my feet” Steph complained.

You buried your face into Jason’s chest, red with embrassment.

What startled the you the most was the voice of Bruce, ushering them all away and closing the wooden doors of the room. You finally looked back up at him, but he was frozen staring at the door with a flushed face (for Bruce had sent him a thumbs up with a smirk and a wink). Something you rarely saw, but he snapped out of it as soon as he noticed your stare.

“So, shall we get the evening started?” He spoke, that deep and confident voice.

“We sure shall, I want to know what kept you so busy today you couldn’t answer your texts.” He laughed nervously, hand moving to rub the back of his neck.

“Yeah about that, Damian may have taken my phone as I was about to respond.” You raised an eyebrow at this looking at him with skepticism. “Hey don’t look at me like that! He thought I wouldn’t be able to keep it a secret,” he then mumbled the rest but due to your close proximity you heard it all, “and i definitly can’t with you”.

You laughed loudly at this, not surprised anymore.

“He’s right, you’re a even worse at lying than Tim”

“Hey, take that back, I’m not nearly as bad as that nerd!”

A pounding was heard on the door followed by Tim yelling’ “Excuse me I am an excellen- hey ah Dad wait!” Tim’s voice faded away as he was being dragged away by Bruce. You continued to laugh, Jason joining in.

And so you begun your evening. It was romantic, perfect and full of love and care. Spending time with Jason was like being in your own personal heaven.

1. What did you do in 2017 that you’d never done before? i’ll try to do this chronologically again: so at the beginning of january one of my best friends left to study abroad in rome which was sad and i missed her a lot. i saw rory scovel do stand up. i took an animation class which was fun for the first few weeks until i failed it lmao. actually my classes from jan to march did not go so well tbh but whatever i made it through. my sister came to visit me the weekend before st paddys day which was super fun and then we saw panic which was soooooooo fuckin rad i love them still wow! i went home for spring break and visited a local winery w my dad which was a lot of fun and then a week later uhhh me and @carrot-gallery became gfs!!! and my whole frickin life changed bc i love her so much wow!! but then a week after that i turned 22 and spent my birthday alone! which i tried to pretend didnt make me sad but by the end of the day i was very sad about it and thats when my sweet gf called me to sing happy birthday and i sobbed on my couch and ill never forget that!!! so okay then spring quarter classes started and i was a part of depaul’s visiting artist series which was super cool... i met a lot of new awesome people (both at depaul and the industry ppl that were our guests!) and made some great friends in that class! i was a house manager and camera op which was super fun. i went to a screening of my fave professor’s short film which was also rad. i saw a ghost story at the chicago critics film festival, which was amazing. i saw idiocracy in 35mm and then mike judge did a q&a! the very next day i was house manager for depaul’s student film festival at the music box! i saw chris gethard do a live recording of beautiful/anonymous and then also do some standup, that was awesome. i saw day wave live!!! amazing! i spent an entire dystopian day dealing with megabus. that was hell! i sat at an outdoor amphitheater and even tho i couldnt really see him i got to listen to seu jorge sing david bowie covers and life was magical for a few hours. my sisters came up to visit me and we saw aladdin the musical and had our minds blown, it was soooo fun! i went to the chicago pride parade for the very first time but i went by myself and at one point i was sitting on the curb just crying! not a high point but still memorable. i won a ticket to an advanced screening of the big sick where kumail & emily were there to do a q&a after the movie.... had a fuckin blast OBVIOUSLY and then saw the movie 9 other times in various theatres. i also made it into a commercial FOR the movie i just loved it that much lmao! i moved into a new (and my current) apartment! lorde released melodrama and fucking murdered me in my own home. otherwise i had a pretty uneventful but anxiety filled summer bc of financial aid stuff so that really sucked. i saw good time w taylor and the safdie brothers were there to do a q&a and they were such interesting guys i could listen to them talk for hours honestly. my mom and sisters came up to visit me and we took our mom to her very first cubs game which was sooo so much fun and they won that day too!! it was awesome and we had a great time :) watched the eclipse (or tried to anyway!!) fall quarter classes started and i honestly kicked ass at them, i got on the deans list (i almost typed honor roll lmao i mean its basically the same) i hung out with ari again which was cool!! we went to the aquarium! me and taylor saw beach fossils which was honestly the most buckwild concert ive ever been to i think, it was good shit. i got jobs at AMC (which i have since quit lmao) and starbucks and left my job at the paint place which was bittersweet! me and taylor saw mbmbam live!!! so fun!! and we watched trolls that night and goofed on it so hard!! i went home for thanksgiving and found out my big sister is gonna have a baby this year!! :D i saw mike birbiglia do stand up! which was soooo incredible of course (except i felt bad bc my mom was supposed to come w me but she couldnt go! so i brought taylor lol) UMMMMM MY DAM GIRLFRIEND CAME TO CHICAGO TO VISIT ME AND STAYED FOR A WHOLE DANG WEEK AND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER SHE MAKES ME SO HAPPY WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AND I MISS HAVING HER RIGHT NEXT TO ME EVERY SINGLE GOSH DANG DAY <3 ;_____; and that was my year!!

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? last year i said id like to read at least one book each month and watch at least 100 movies - i did neither! im keeping the movie resolution though bc cmon 100 movies should be EASY for a film major wtf am i doing!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no but it will happen in 2018!

Hate to be cliche, but here goes.

This decade has been some shit. 2010. Best year of my life. I’m 17, I have my soul mate and best friend every single day of my life. No bills and making way too much money. I got the love of my life, Rome. I am so cool in my mind and just life was fucking GREAT. I met corbin that year and I was legit in absolute bliss.

Feb 2012 my best friend moves to fl and that was so great but I am in absolute shambles. I am lost I am unhappy. This is where it all goes wrong and only now, 8 years later do I realize the codependency issues I had with jenna. I fucking loved that chick from the depths of my goddamn soul, we could speak and make decisions and plans with just locking eyes for a blink of a second. So bc I am sad, lost and unable to make sense of my selfish and immature feelings, I take it out on her and a whole slough of klonopin. Corbin and I are doing bad and this is when it should’ve ended.

April 2012 (hah time is funny af) I do some shady shit, but not to the magnitude it was portrayed. Life moves on and I get back with corbin. This is my new person to rely on. I need him bc he stuck thru it with me and gained my whole hearted trust that he loves me, even when ugly and I love him through all of his ugly. We are ugly and we are in love and nothing in the world matters to me anymore besides him.

Oct 2012 I finally am ready to move outta stc. But corbins with me. I beg and beg and beg to please go to Tampa but nah, we go to Miami. It’ll be easier, Adam will take us in. He still is this big mature, always with it guy, I don’t know him, that’s why. We get there, nothing much to even talk about. Great times but eh. Leavin it at that. Shit happens and we get out of dodge like some fuckin thief’s in the night. Drive two days to portland. I won’t get into all the beautiful shit I saw bc that’ll take too long but, here we are.

I live with a naked hippie that is actually psychotic and oh, later on turns out she’s making us pay for a house SHE IS SQUATTING IN. But anyway, things happened (again adam) and we move to the city city. Won’t even get in to the shit that transpired there, but now I’m moving back home.

Feb 2013 (wow really seeing some timelines matching up of my most unpleasant times of my life?!¿¡) so I’m back home. I don’t sleep, I don’t eat. I think I weighed 110 while standing 5’8. My dads on parole, only time I see sunlight is when he needs to meet with his PO. Nicole nurtures me and literally does everything in her power to make me be better, but I am not ready to feel happiness or bond with any other human. I am not ready to move on or up or out. I am stuck. Corbin moves home. Ahhh yes. My safety blanket is back and I can be happy again (hahahah)

So in the meantime while I was sad Nicole and I are partying, late nights to meijer and rite aid, getting high and snacks and shit is just fucking awesome. She meets the love of her life and he takes her and even me in to his whole friend crowd and I am HAPPY and feel bliss again. I have friends? Imagine that. They fall madly in love and then heh, they move. Well shit. Now mind you I have totally capability to see them whenever I please bc Nicole is an open door policy. But truly I’m lazy, I like convenience and still wrapped up in my own stupid bitchass, (that I can now see, but then couldn’t) and it’s back to corbin and I.

So now it’s getting close to end of 2013 and all I pretty much do is spend every waking moment with corbin. I don’t mean to make that sound so awful, then I loved it. Now, it’s all so bleak.

2014 hits. I’m in and out of jobs. Corbin and I live off of pop can returns. I’m still 21 so like, none of that mattered and I didn’t care about a future. He gets a job and I finally get into the courthouse. We start doing ~molly~ heavy. Locking ourselves in a bedroom from Friday-Sunday. Every weekend. When you hear “ecstasy/drugs ruined my sex life” from older people, you don’t really know what to make of that. When I tell you drugs ruined our sex life and our likeness for each other, now I fucking get it. I stopped smoking weed 24/7 bc I was paranoid of losing my job. Not much more to that year or 2015 than chemical pills and being locked in a room and outdoor adventures with my dog.

2016, I finally convince corbin to {for the love of god} attempt to get his license back (which he did, and then ruined again, but that comes later) so we’re really making moves, honestly for us we were doing shit. We had a marker board calendar AND meeting our goals/deadlines !!! His dad gets oxys, and we’ve been borrowing his Vicodin for idk, a year or 3 at this point. This is kinda when things get fuzzy. But oxys come and got damn do they feel good. But only recreational. It wasn’t serious then.

Corbin gets prescribed adderall. Not much more we need to dive in to with that jazz but oxys and addies were all we ate until about the end of 2017. Pills are gone. Let’s fucking driiiiink.

2018

So I developed an alcohol issue at this point. Still battling it to this day. But I don’t really remember much. Did some cool shit, went to Europe. Met a girl that I’ve never loved kissing more. She was nuts. I moved out of our apartment we got together and back home, re-up w/ Rickey, we have fun. He cheats on me with the girl he got pregnant and neglected (they’re engaged now, congrats guys) I’m completely broken and alone because at this point i have managed to push every waking soul away from me and experience the weirdest fucking shit ever that I can only explain as spiritual, or maybe it was satanic. It burned and hurt and scared the ballsacks out of me. Can’t kill your self if you’re a pussy, turns out.

I spent this whole year trying to find friends, wrong crowd. I developed a relationship with a coworker who still to this day has my heart and soul and I love him and will always hope the best. He is the greatest comfort I had but it was only ever from 5pm - until we finished having drinks and sex and then back to being alone. I even confessed my confused love for him and he set me straight. He showed me more about being strong than anyone ever. I love you D.

The end of September I finally meet up with a dude I can’t take my damn eyeballs off for years. I finally mustered up the courage after making excuses for about 2 weeks why I couldnt meet up with him. So I come over. It’s raining so hard. I couldn’t find his house. I just wanted the god damn dick, and go home. He didn’t let that happen.

We see one another mainly every single day except Wednesday’s because he has plans that day every week. I tried my hardest to ghost him multiple times but he didn’t let that happen either. We are both drinking a lot because we are both sad but our company really really reaaaally made up for the sadness. He is the funniest person I’ve ever met and I think he thought that about me too.

November 21st comes and he is being weird and I am constantly nervous around him so I get weird bc I think I did something or he’s gonna tell me to go home, I didn’t know. He finally says he wants to be my man, like full time man. I have a bf? I don’t want one but something about you is fckin freaky you beautiful boy. Everything is coming together.

And here we go: December 21. 1 month is all it took to mess it up.

Leaving my work party, ironically after getting all of my drinks bought for me :) , I go to jail. Jail was not as bad as I expected. I was a good criminal so I got to sit in a different room w/ a tv until shift change. Oh and ! my high school classmate was a worker there so that was neat ! (jesuschrist) anyway; dont have Laynes number memorized, my family and I just watched my grandpa die, gasping for air 10 day prior. Can’t call my mom. Scared to call my dad (who was the nicest of anyone) soooooo corbin it is. I dealt with his jail problems time after time so, his turn I guess.

Welp it’s 2019. Not much to say. Layne stuck through all of it with me and I have no fucking clue why. Got a therapist. Stopped drinking whiskey completely. Bought a vacuum and couch. Live with my way too supportive boyfriend. My family fucking loves him. I am .... growing ? stronger ? mentally ? as every day passes ? because of him ? He teaches me so much about moving on, life and just thinking before doing. Life ain’t that serious. I love you Layne. I completely do. I started alcohol classes and I went in with such a shitty attitude, like I’m better than everyone? (Been my issue for, forever) I fucking love my group sessions. I am for once not alone with the unpopular shit I struggle with. Addiction is so real and I always thought it was a stupid ass excuse for being lazy but hahhhhhh karma loves me.

I’ve been struggling so hard with jenna. I have talked to a handful of people and most have said it’s been blown out of proportion but, don’t hurt your friends. I finally fucking wrapped it up when I got ahold of her, tried to anyway, before Christmas. I explained a lot, now that I’ve had years to sit back and reflect on myself and my bullshit and I can’t blame her (side bar: she still didn’t care lol.) But I am fuckin over it. My feelings got hurt to absolute fuck about some things and instead of being mature, I fucked her over, because I felt fucked over. But I’m sorry, I did that, I take responsibility and best wishes forever but an anvil weight has finally been lifted off my chest and I feel like I can finally move the fuck on and it’s such a great feeling to get rid of something that’s been eating me alive.

So basically, the last two years ate me the fuck alive. This year I meditated on shit. We will see how 2020 goes but I am ready considering what I’ve done to myself, been through and I still am fucking alive and trying. Being a human is dumb but it’s aight sometimes. Getting better.
