I think that one way (that did work for me) to log out of social media for a while is to just do it and tell no one. (Yes you can text your closest friend and say they aren't going to hear from you for a while, but don't do any big announcements!)

Why? I find that if you post about it and do not go through with your resolution, the guild will hit twice as strong. Another thing is that I think it's more tempting to go back, not stick to it when the announcement is made. Idk, it just is like that sometimes.

So, in conclusion, just log out! Don't think about what will happen in this imaginary, virtual world when you're not a part of it. Live in the moment, talk to your irl friends and family. Go explore the outdoors, maybe start a journal?
