Kitty had spent the greater part of her day in the Danger Room, testing her new gauntlets with the aid of both Luke and Danny. It was only when she was too tired to continue that she had left and headed to her tech lab in order to make the appropriate adjusts now that she had put the claws to their test. She'd been tweaking the way in which they extended when her phone had bleeped to alert her that Logan was posting - because yes, she was that kind of girlfriend. When someone you loved went away on dangerous missions abroad, it wasn't so crazy to programme your phone to alert you when they became active on their usual sites again.

She'd begun packing up instantly, rushing around the lab gathering things between replies and then she'd eventually run across campus with a grin on her face, phasing through everyone and everything that got in her way. Soon enough, she was charging through the door, dropping her bags onto the nearest sofa before going over to him to both hug him and investigate what he was cooking.

"Missed me?" She asked with a chuckle.

Seriously watch that movie. I didn't like the first wolverin movies and I'm not a fan of the X-Men movies either but Logan blew me away. Finally they figured out how to do it right. Awesome performance great dialogues and beautiful settings. There where more than one moment I had tears in my eyes. Even though Kitty had woken up a day or so ago, she had yet to actually see Logan. Of course, she knew he'd been around because Cassie had told her but each time he'd been in the room, Kitty had been fast asleep. Each time she'd tried to stay up in hopes of seeing him because she knew for a fact he'd refuse to wake her for anything but still, she'd drifted off. Maybe everyone was right, she did need to rest. Evidently, her body was still trying to catch up from the deprivation that had started months ago.

However, this time when she stirred, she could hear steady breathing beside her. It was closer than Cassie's breath and so she knew someone was in the chair beside her. Slowly, her head turned and when she saw Logan she felt a pang of guilt run through her. That was twice now that she'd put him through watching her lying unconscious on a hospital bed and he certainly didn't need that worry on top of everything else he did for this school and its students.

Carefully, she rose in her bed, swinging her legs off so she was sat on the edge; eyes still locked on him. She extended her leg in order to gently nudge his knee with her foot, not wishing to wake him up roughly.
