it took a while before logan managed to corner you and beg you to let him court you

very patient and careful when courting you

when you finally agree to be his, logan can't help but cheer and celebrate which makes you giggle

speaking of making you giggle - logan loves to make you happy and hear you laugh

its his biggest serotonin boost

isn't overly possessive and protective like some other alphas can be

he knows you love him and doesn't feel the need to "mark his territory" unless you want him to

traces his mating bite absentmindedly because you and things that make him think of you always provide him comfort

loves your scent and can often be found burying his face in your scent gland like he's the omega and you the alpha

always willing to drag his omega friends into conversations with you if you're dysphoric about being nonbinary (the natural diversity of omegas is a great source of dysphoria squashing)

not afraid to protect and defend you from people being cruel

thinks you are the prettiest, sweetest smelling omega ever

always willing to give up his hoodies or shirts if his scent is strong on them because he knows it comforts you and he wants you to be safe and happy

never pressures you to help with his rut and will never force you to accept his help during your heat

if you want to help/want his help, he's on board, but he respects you too much to force you to do anything

incredibly patient with you and never makes you feel like you have to do something just because you're an omega, he's an alpha and the two of you are mates

ive been stalking your blog and i love your writing! im not entirely sure how requesting works so sorry if im not adhereing to the rules, i dont mean to break them if i do

but ive been thinking (i dont think youve done this but i might be wrong) of a logan sargeant with a soulmate au, except you find out in the stupidest ways possible, like romcom levels of stupid and its just dancing around realizing theyre soulmates until it hits them? and like headcannons of leading up to that realization and after? nb reader too if thats ok?

you and logan were... dense, to put it lightly

everyone else had figured out you were soulmates way before the two of you did

oscar had known from the second he met you, the ink stains on your fingers matching the ones on logan's

you and logan, however? oblivious

logan laughed at how easy it is to stain your fingers and you did the same - all of it clear miscommunication - whilst oscar suffered

oscar tells liam to keep an eye on you when he meets you during his and logan's shared f2 season and liam is not sure why until he does

he all but rushes back to oscar and asks if you and logan are soulmates, which oscar confirms

liam can't help but notice it then, the way your mindless mid-race doodles appear on logan's skin

logan doesn't notice it and the look oscar shoots liam tells him that he can't bring it up to logan either

liam ends up sharing the same suffering that oscar does, thanks to you two oblivious idiots

when logan moves up into f1, everyone notices the matching marks and doodles to the point where oscar & liam are grilled on why they've kept silent to both of you this whole time

alex watches as lines and trails of ink form on logan's fingertips and, when he sees you later, you're twirling a pen through the same ink-adorned fingers

even other drivers notice it

you notice it too but don't think anything of it, you just assume logan was copying you out of appreciation

sure, you didn't know how he had the time to on race weekends, but you didn't care

you didn't see another option

and then you realise you're nonbinary and you write the words "i am nonbinary" on your arm

when you see logan with the same words in the same handwriting, however, you want to be angry about him copying that part of your doodles until you realise the truth

logan is your soulmate

and has been this entire time

where do you even start with telling him?

first, you decide that coming out is probably important so you tell him, receiving unwavering support from him in response

and then you turn to oscar & liam, utterly confused on why they never said anything

they chastise you for being oblivious before they offer you advice on how to tell logan the truth

eventually you work up the courage and logan shyly confesses that he figured it out with the "i am nonbinary" message as well, but he didn't wanna intrude on your personal space

you both laugh over your stupidity before you two share a sweet kiss, entirely unaware of liam & oscar watching on from nearby
