well. cute they wrote in the little rescuing the young sam-esque kid. again appreciating the alpha vampire's actor, rick worthy, who is also great on the magicians and wishing he could be in a more regular role than some of the other people on this show :p

so I remember grabbing a clip of this scene (here) because it looked to me like they ADR'd the bees line over something else. out of context and knowing how dean generally talks, I'd vote he's saying physically on the car. but in the delivery, it does seem more like he's swearing on the car. which is weird.

but, roundabout way getting to my point that having so many different writers over the years, sometimes I'll notice little quirks or word usage that seems out of nowhere

like they used to say guano for a hot minute, in episodes: 5x11 (dabb and loflin), 7x01 (gamble), 7x08 (dabb and loflin)

but the one that really stuck out to me was "take it out of their ass."

in 5x16 (dabb and loflin)

ZACHARIAH I can’t close the deal on a couple of flannel-wearing maggots? Everybody’s laughing at me… and they’re right to do it. So! I'm not the be-all end-all of references and phrase usages but I am split the difference between dean and sam's ages and like words. especially in earlier years I questioned some of their choices 😂 the obscure and often too old for me references got out of hand for a bit then

also I'm cracking up that my big examples of words that stuck out to me all came from dabb, loflin and gamble 🤪
