I’m really excited to use these moveable #soundbaffle walls in our tracking space. They are so versatile and can be used in so many ways..as #vocalbooth or #drumisolationbooth or just overall sound blocking and coloring. The space is Humble, hence the name! I’m working on a musical score, working with lyrics and music by @nekocasefangirl ... specifically, here, I’ve got a duet in which I, in the role of a distraught hippie princess Central New Jersey highschool Pocahontas, come out as G**  (It’s provocative! I’m trying to make it accessible for Mormons. Duh. That’s where all the $$$ is in this game. Think “Book of Mormon!” This explains nothing about me or my life, but it does explain why I’m capable of laughing at myself a bit.)

A little piece of a beat I recorded tonight. First I recorded my son's drum kit. Then, I made samples from the recording and loaded them on my sampler. Finally, I played each drum to a separate track on my multitrack recorder. Here I am playing it through the headphone jack on the multitrack to the input on a P.A. speaker.
